I focused on the two big enemies and I planned to get them away from the girls so they could take care of the weak ones But before we could move, the mysterious woman in the red dress appeared on the long balconies that were inside the water room, she shot at one of the large black hooded figures and that predictably caught his attention, the woman made an immediate retreat and the hooded figure gave chase.

There was a moment of confusion after the surprise interruption, but I ignored it, one less enemy to worry about.

I tried to transform into my dragonewt form but the change happened slowly, probably because my body was still young but no matter, I jumped forward aiming at the big enemy, and with a dropkick I sent the big guy flying over some stairs, then another strange mechanism activated and the stairs rose, which was basically a minor inconvenience that divided me from the girls.

More cultists appeared on the balconies to shoot me with crossbow bolts, but I used my gravity control to return them to the senders, this was between me and the big guy.

With its attention on me, the creature threw back its hood and revealed its humanoid body, he had long, sharp fingers, and a thick, long tail, and his body was almost completely covered by a black insect exoskeleton, I fired to test the strength of his armor but he came out completely unaffected.

The creature let out a mighty scream and used its tail to swipe at me, I did the same, and the impact created a loud sound as they cancelled each other out.

Then we ran towards each other and the monster tried to cut me with its long claws but I jumped on its head and got behind it, I looked at my hand, annoyed because my hands hadn't finished changing, If I had had my claws, I would have finished off that creature right then and there.

I had to hold him back for a few moments so I released an ice breath and to my surprise that was super effective, a short breath left him practically solid, I wanted to continue attacking but more cultists appeared, That wasn't much of a problem but a humanoid creature with its eyes sewn shut jumped from the balconies and used the giant Wolverine claws attached to its hands to swing at me.

I was forced to jump back a little to avoid it, but he was not armored, on the contrary, the parasite was coming out of his back, completely vulnerable, I just had to dodge and position myself behind him to pierce him with a long icicle.

As the blind Wolverine fell the humanoid insect broke free from its ice bonds but with my claws finally grown I decapitated it with a super fast swing, his head rolled to my feet at which point I decided to farm both bodies, they were interesting enough specimens, I also didn't forget to take a sample of the black substance that was crossing the room.

When I finished I couldn't hear any commotion from the girls' sides so I guess they dealt with the cultists, I put one foot on the stairs and slowly pushed them back to their place, I saw the girls in front of me and the rest of the place was covered in flames, it seems that Erica got very excited.

After rescuing Ashley in the water room we continued making our way through the castle, My transformation also took a while to reverse so I had to tear off my scales manually, I was waiting for Ashley to question me again but she kept her head down, I explained to Ashley why Leon had handed her over to the enemy but that didn't lift her spirits, I debated how I could help her but my mind went elsewhere when I saw a purple flame illuminating a door of the castle, I immediately turned towards the door and when I opened it, I found myself again with the mysterious merchant.

Her mood improved a lot but while she was celebrating her gun went off and she hit my in the arm.
