Reincarnation: Yukino Yukinoshita Is My Childhood Sweetheart

Chapter 5: Accidentally Flirting with Someone

Even though Takano Koichi and his group had a bad reputation, Haru still had to follow Shizuka Hiratsuka for a formal review as one of the involved parties.

Fortunately, things went smoothly for him.

Hiratsuka only asked him a few brief questions about the incident, and when the principal spoke to him privately, it was with a friendly and accommodating attitude.

Haru knew exactly why this was happening.

It wasn't because his parents were particularly influential—it was because the last time they had met the principal, they'd placed a stack of cash on his desk under the guise of a generous "donation."

The principal initially tried to refuse, but Haru's parents had been, shall we say, very persistent.

When haru walked out of the principal's office, he noticed someone waiting for him in the hallway.

It was none other than Utaha Kasumigaoka.

Since Haru and Yukino had started attending Sobu High School, most of the girls' gossip revolved around this senior standing before him.

Even though Yukino and Eriri's beauty had gradually captivated their classmates, Utaha Kasumigaoka still remained the most talked-about name.

It was unavoidable. Not only was she stunningly beautiful, but her impeccable figure paired with her signature black stockings made her unforgettable.

Standing before Yu now, she carried her usual polite smile. Her delicate features—gracefully curved brows, a straight, elegant nose, and sparkling eyes—seemed to exude an effortless allure.

Her natural charm, as if fused with her very being, made the word "sultry" feel like it had been invented just for her.

Her tall, curvaceous figure stood out among her peers, and her slim waist only made the stunning curves of her upper body all the more breathtaking.

And then there were her long, shapely legs, clad in sheer black stockings which easily outline the lines that capable of making any man's heart skip a beat.

Her exposed skin—her neck, face, and hands—was as smooth and fair, inviting anyone caught off guard by her beauty to imagine the allure hidden beneath the fabric of her uniform.

"Thanks for stepping in earlier, Kasumigaoka-senpai."

Haru expressed his gratitude, all while silently marveling at her charm.

This was a level of allure that no amount of images or illustrations could ever capture.

Kasumigaoka shook her head lightly, her smile calm and composed. "Let's talk while we walk.."

"Sure."

The two strolled through the hallway together. She glanced at him casually and asked, "Did you happen to attend Horikoshi Elementary School?"

Haru paused, taken aback. "How do you know that?"

A thought quickly surfaced in his mind.

Her next words confirmed his guess. "Do you remember a time when your school hosted a sports event, and there was a friendly soccer match with another school?"

Yu's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait… don't tell me you were there that day too?"

"Too?"

Kasumigaoka's gaze turned curious.

"Yeah, someone else once told me they were there that day as well."

"Interesting," she replied, not pressing further.

Instead, she found herself marveling at how real fate seemed to be.

She vividly remembered that day.

During the event, she'd noticed a boy participating in the high jump.

Her memory of that moment was so clear because his athletic prowess was extraordinary.

She had watched as the teacher recording scores looked absolutely stunned, followed by a group of children chattering excitedly.

That's how she'd first heard his name—Amamiya Haru.

Now, as a second-year student at Sobu High, she had already heard rumors about a particularly handsome first-year boy during the first week of school.

She hadn't thought much of it—until she found out his name was Amamiya Haru.

Since then, she had been quietly observing him while gathering bits of information from her classmates.

When she saw him confront Takano Koichi's group again today, she finally decided to step in.

It was the perfect chance to confirm her suspicions.

And now, she had her answer.

Watching Haru's surprised expression, Kasumigaoka felt a little excited for some reason: "What a coincidence, Amamiya-kun."

"It really is," haru replied, though his feelings were far more complicated.

If only Eriri had coincidentally encountered him at elementary school, he might've dismissed it as a simple twist of fate.

But now even Kasumigaoka had a past connection to him?

This is definitely the system's doing, he thought with certainty.

Yu was convinced that the so-called "God Development System" he'd received was a inappropriate.

It should've been called the "Dating Sim System" instead.

After all, not only had it thrown him halfway across the globe, but now it was forcing him into close encounters with characters straight out of a romantic anime.

"I heard you started a photography club. Are you interested in photography?"

Perhaps because of their "reunion," Kasumigaoka seemed particularly keen on continuing the conversation.

Haru answered honestly, "It's not just photography. To be precise, I'm working towards producing my own drama someday."

Her eyes lit up at his response.

So he's like me—already pursuing a mature goal while still a high school student.

How interesting.

A faint smile curved her lips as she replied, "If I ever have the time, I'd like to visit your club."

"Visit? Why?" Haru asked, puzzled.

Her smile grew wider. "I'm curious."

Then, she pointed at him with one finger, a playful glint in her eyes.

"About you."

Are you possessed by Chitanda Eru or something? haru thought, unable to suppress his amusement.

He couldn't refuse, of course.

Having the school's most popular senior visit his club made perfect sense.

As they reached the sports field and were about to part ways, she smiled and introduced herself formally, "I'm Kasumigaoka Utaha. It feels good to meet you again after all this time."

Haru couldn't help but chuckle. "I wouldn't exactly call it 'all this time,' Senpai. You've only seen me once before when we were kids."

"Oh?"

Kasumigaoka Utaha crossed her arms over her chest, and this posture made her figure even more hot.

She didn't say anything else, simply gazing at him with those delicate eyes.

Sighing in surrender, Haru relented with a smile, "Alright. I'm Amamiya Haru. It's… definitely a bit strange meeting you again like this."

Finally satisfied, she gave a small nod. "I have something to do, so I'll see you around."

With her slender waist swaying gracefully, she walked away without hesitation.

The moment she turned her back to him, she exhaled quietly.

What she hadn't told Haru was that her impression of him wasn't just from a single childhood encounter.

She had clearly remembered hearing that Amamiya Haru had broken the school's high jump record on that day.

The term "record-breaking" had left a significant impact on her young mind.

As an unusually mature child herself, watching a boy calmly confirm his historic achievement under the sun had been nothing short of mesmerizing.

That scene had stayed with her for years.

And now, that boy had reappeared before her eyes.

"I'm glad I got to see you again, my record-breaking friend," she whispered with a smile.
