Chapter 5: Chapter 5: tackling the Creature
"Hey boy, have any ideas?"
Shaking his head, Sam replied calmly, "I have a way, but what about you?"
The tall man fell into a short silence before replying, "Mine is an all-rounder beast, and his is a tank beast."
"Mine is a transformation beast; it can change into any weapon."
"Wow," the short man lit up.
"Brother, can you show us?"
Sam rolled his eyes.
Didn't you see that shield?
Ignoring the short man's enthusiasm, he moved to the topic, "Understood. I'll assist you."
The tall man nodded.
**
"This m*therfcker! It's too crazy!"
Completely baffled by the situation, Sam couldn't help but suck in a cold breath. Even though he had expected the creature to transform into beast mode upon perceiving the death aura...
But who the hell thought that...
Sam's thoughts were interrupted by a scream.
"Help! Save me!!"
Throwing a whip in the short man's direction, Sam soon moved to support the tall man, who had transformed into a werewolf.
Coming out of the pit, the short man cursed.
"This intelligence is too high for a mysterious creature!"
"Don't distract," a shout entered the short man's ears. Snapping out of his daze, the short man nodded at Sam, his eyes becoming firm.
Taking a deep breath, he shouted, "Run!" and left both the tall man and Sam behind.
Sam flinched, completely baffled by the situation.
What a shitshow!
"Don't overthink. Just find a way to escape this time or..." The tall man didn't complete the sentence.
Sam understood.
This wasn't the time to be emotional.
His surroundings suddenly changed. Taking a rough overview, he spoke in a cold voice, "I have no patience. Just assist me."
The tall man stood there, gazing blankly at the scene.
This aura! This temperament! It shouldn't be...
"Where is your focus?" A cold voice passed by his ear.
Calming his fast-racing heart, he shouted, "Short man, clear the surroundings from the outside."
...
The short man, who had run from the fight, had only one thought running in his mind.
Perfect Level?!
That's a Perfect Level creature!
"Yeah! That must be the reason for its high intelligence."
Clutching his chest, he let out a puff.
"My heart can't bear the shock."
First: We were dropped into this unknown forest.
Second: There's also a boy who looks around ten years old and strength is offchart.
Is that possible?
How is that possible?
How can this be when the minimum age to awaken is 14 years?
"Let's assume I can digest that bombshell, but this third thing is completely out of control."
Third: A creature from Mega Planet.
How can this be possible? This is too serious even to be considered a crime. If found involved, at worst, your entire generation would be wiped out.
"Let's assume I can also digest this nuclear bomb, and my heart survives."
But how can we survive a Perfect Level creature?
What made him even more uneasy was the feeling that they were in a cage, dancing in the palm of someone's hand.
Even if they both survived, who could guarantee they'd escape the clutches of the higher-ups?
This was the topic they'd discussed during their half-dying battle.
Conclusion: Clear the objective and run as fast as they could.
But it wasn't that easy.
Facing the present, he sigh, "I thought you guys would run," and trying to calm his nerves.
Surviving first is better than overthinking.
Sheathing his bloodied sword, he moved toward the outer zone.
Blood splattered on the ground, and carcasses of wild beasts lay around.
Gazing at the numerous beasts lying slain, his eyes lit up.
"That boy is too amazing."
Glancing at his target, he sighed.
"This is going to be a bloody battle."
"Transform."
A thin layer covered his entire body. The bloodied sword trembled, also covered in the same thin layer.
"Let's enjoy this moment."
.....
"Take it easy," Sam groaned and disappeared from the spot. Appearing two feet away from the creature, a whip cracked in the air again as he displaced himself.
Rotating its eyeball at its centre, the creature let out an angry roar and stomped its feet.
The shockwave threw all the nearby wild beasts.
Feeling the trembling ground beneath him, a tall man who had transformed into a werewolf took a leap and soared into the air.
Landing with firm stability, he calmed his trembling body.
This boy holds too many secrets! It's better not to have any ideas.
Shaking his head, the werewolf's eyes radiated a thick, bloody aura, towering like the king of the wild beasts.
....
Again, the whip cracked in the air, but this time, instead of turning its eyeball toward the sound, the creature deliberately avoided the location.
"Ohh! It will become more dangerous as the situation drags on," Sam whispered and decided to change his strategy.
Sam appeared directly before the creature's eyeball.
The creature's eyeball radiated a bloody aura, filled with anger as if it wanted to vent all its fury on this boy.
Its claws tightened as it attempted to swing its arm, but there was no reaction.
"AAHHH!"
The creature's rage filled the entire area, and the whip that shackled it dematerialized into thin air.
Soil rose from the ground and disappeared into the whirlwind forming around the creature.
Thump.
Its massive feet hit the ground, and the whirlwind spread outward.
Calmly observing the creature, Sam's cold eyes remained unchanged.
Maybe I've crossed the limit of the creature's anger.
That was just his assumption, but he still let out a reminder, "Don't go near the whirlwind."
...
The tall man was the first to react, as his transformed state could sense the malice, rage, and other emotions emanating from the creature. Without wasting any time, he leaped toward the short man.
"Hey, shit! What world are you in?" the tall man cursed.
"Hmph! Are you jealous that I'm better than—" short man abruptly stopped his words, gulped, leaped into the air, and disappeared, leaving only his voice lingering in the space.
"What the hell is going on!"
