Chapter 5: Lightning Strikes More than Once
--------------------------------------------------------Three Months Later After Arriving-------------------------------------------------
My expectations for this power were wrong. I was completely wrong. They aren't as powerful as I hoped they'd be. They're in fact far more powerful that I could've possibly imagined. All of the abilities I dreamed of wielding that were related to lightning were in my grasp. Anything I could imagine, I could do with my lightning.
I first started off by just seeing if I could enhance my strikes with lightning. That was easy. Then, I tried shooting lightning. That was also pretty straightforward and easy to do. Next came the fun parts. The first move I wanted to try and replicate was the lightning cloak from Naruto. Sure, Godspeed from HunterxHunter is also very cool, but I'd rather not try and replicate an ability that hurts myself. After about an hour, I managed to coat my entire body with a layer of lightning and stimulate my internal body as well at the same time. The result? A massive boost to everything.
My speed was increased by at least three times, so much so that my reaction speed was only a bit faster than my movement speed at this point. Not only that, but every one of my strikes carried a heavier weight to them along with a nasty shock that I could choose to amplify. Furthermore, I definitely felt more durable and tested it out when I let a few grimm land some attacks on me. I wasn't worried about any lasting injuries since I had access to the reversed curse technique to heal myself. Let's just say those beowolves didn't leave more than a light scratch on my skin despite me putting my aura down.
Lightning cloak was incredible and definitely would be one of my go to things to use. After creating it, I started to test out the chidori. This took a little bit harder since shaping the lightning accurately took a bit more focus. Despite that, it still only took about a few hours for me to get it down. Maybe that's Sukuna's talent kicking in, who knows. Anyways, using the chidori was pretty easy. After I managed to form it I was able to pierce pretty much anything I could find. Beowolves, ursa, deathstalkers, rocks, they all were pierced in one blow. At this stage I think it's apt to call it raikiri instead. Not only was I able to use it though, I was able to utilize the other forms of chidori that Sasuke had created. I could extend the chidori into a blade or further extend it into s spear and stab someone from long range. I could also create a heavy lightning shield around me to deflect projectiles and attacks along with fire off hundreds of small senbon shaped lightning constructs from my chidori.
Chidori, or raikiri as I'm going to call it from now on, is definitely going to be one of my most versatile attacks. After mastering the raikiri, I found out that I could freely shape my lightning into constructs. I could quite literally make a lightning construct of a sword or even a scythe. Using the weapons I constructed were no problem because surprise surprise, Sukuna was also a weapon master.
I have to admit, I was like a child with toys when I first found out I could create lightning constructs. I spent a few days mastering all sorts of weapons with Sukuna's experience. I also started to essentially create a few lightning jutsus from Naruto like the lightning dragon jutsu or lightning hound jutsu. I even figured out how to create lightning clones that would burst into lightning when hit. After all that, there was only one last thing I wanted to try before the show started.
In a corner of the forest, I set ablaze the area around me. I felt kind of bad since this forest has gone through so much from me practicing here. I'm honestly surprised no one came to investigate. Anyways, once the flames had been burning for a while, storm clouds started to form above me. I didn't use just any regular flames, I had created this fire with my divine flames. A few minutes later, when I decided the clouds were big enough, that's when I started.
I launched a giant amount of lightning into the clouds and waited for a bit. Then, within the clouds a massive figure started to form. The form of a dragon. Raging above me the dragon figure imitated a roar before I called out one sentence.
Begone with a thunderclap! Kirin!
I directed the dragon down at the earth about a mile in front of me. Within 1/1000 of a second, lightning struck. A loud crash was hear throughout the entire forest as lightning dispersed and destroyed everything in its path in a wide radius.
This was it. My trump card. My ultimate technique. Kirin would ensure alongside my domain that I would never lose a single battle in this world.
There was only one more thing to do now. Test myself. After three months of training and pushing myself, I needed to see the results of my effort. There had been this group of goliaths walking around the edge of Mount Glenn I had heard about. I remember them also being there when I watched the show. Those massive grimm would be perfect test subjects. Test subjects to prove to myself and the world that I was the strongest.
The next day after I had tested out kirin I went out to Mount Glenn. I had an off day since the old man was closing that weekend for some repairs to the lights and AC unit in the shop. After dashing around Mount Glenn for a while, I saw them. The roaming line of goliaths I remember seeing in RWBY all that time ago.
"Get ready you big bastards. You have no idea what's coming for you."
