RWBY: Oscar the gamer

Chapter 13: Grimm's everywhere

Yang walked pass a few trees, as they did they arrived to place that looked like a clearing it was middle of the forest with that of stone ruin's, Oscar slided down they found many chess pieces which means probably the right relics.

Oscar went to the white Knight. "Horse".

Blake nded. "Horse".

Yang then went and picked up her peace, a black knight the trio looked at Eachother as they saw two people on a bait riding it as they ran, one was black hair with purple highlights and the other was red head

[ Insert Image of Ren and Nora here ]

Oscar just blinked as he said. "Is she riding a bear".

As then behdin them came out a giant snake grim this as a king Taijitu, as before they can think more they saw Pyrrha and Jaune running as they ran from a Scorpion Grimm it was death staker, Oscar then used his system

[ Name ming Taijitu,

It is a snake Grimm with two head one white and one black, but the black head seems to be crush

Level 40

Hp 50% left

Name: Death Stalker

This is a Scorpion Grimm, that has grown to the large size, attack the stinger first

Level 40

Hp 100% Full]

Oscar just sigehd as he spoke. "It can't get any worse".

Then he saw Cardin and his partner running, as Oscar looked at Cardin and felt like they will definitely not get along then he heard a screen, as he saw Ruby and wise holding for dear life on a Nevermore, both them jumped Ruby landed on a Tree, but Weiss was falling

Seeing this Oscar and Jaune ran to catch her, but thanks to Oscar Agility skill he was faster, he then used the tree as a spring board as he jumped up catched like a Knight in shining armout and then landed as he looked up too see the Nevermore as his system activated.

[ Name: Nevermore

Type: Giant Avian Grimm

Description: A massive bird-like Grimm with razor-sharp feathers and incredible speed. Its weak points are the wings and head, but its durability makes it a challenging foe.

Level: 50

HP: 100% (Full)

Threat Level: High. Proceed with caution. ]

Oscar sighed as he gently set Weiss down, her pale cheeks tinged with a hint of red. "You okay?" he asked casually, brushing dust off his shirt.

Weiss regained her composure, standing up and fixing her posture. "I didn't need your help! But... thank you." She turned her head away, trying to look dignified despite the fall.

Jaune arrived a moment later, panting heavily. "Man, you're fast! I thought I had that one, but..."

Oscar waved him off. "Team effort, right?"

Above them, the Nevermore screeched loudly, circling as it prepared to dive. The King Taijitu and Death Stalker were still causing chaos, and the clearing was quickly becoming a battlefield.

Yang grinned, cracking her knuckles. "Finally, some action!"

Blake narrowed her eyes, drawing Gambol Shroud. "Don't get reckless, Yang. We've got more Grimm than we can handle already."

Ruby appeared from the trees, waving her arms frantically. "Guys! We've got a plan—wait, is that another Grimm?!"

Nora's voice echoed from the distance as she and Ren slid into the clearing, still atop the bear. "Let's crush everything! Ren, hold on tight!"

Pyrrha, already fending off the Death Stalker with her spear, called out to the group. "Focus on one target at a time! We need coordination!"

Oscar activated his system and quickly scanned the field again, noticing the King Taijitu's black head had been heavily damaged. "Alright, focus on the snake first! Its black head is almost done for. After that, we can regroup!"

Yang smirked. "Fine by me. I've got dibs on the finishing blow!"

As the group sprang into action, Oscar unsheathed Midnight Fang, his mind already running through potential strategies. The chaos was just beginning, and it was up to them to make sure they all made it out alive.

Cardin then jumped through King Taijutu, as he and his partner started to attack as Oscar noticed there were doing good.

Oscar then looked at them. "They can take care of that. Oscar then looked at Pyrrha and Jaune. "Jaune, Pyrrha, and you two riding the bear, take care of the death stalker". Oscar then looked at Blake, Yang, Ruby and Weiss. "You four with me, we take care of the bird".

Weiss lokked at as she spoke. "Don't order me around".

Oscar just looked at her. "Do you wanna leave or not".

[ Energy mission: Kill all the Nevermore, mission completion will give a lot of exp, with that of 600 skill points, extra reword if host is the one to do the final attack".

Oscar then metalky though to him self. "Sure why not our me level 22 agent's a Level 50, this is rade boss Basically".

Oscar took a deep breath, gripping Midnight Fang tightly as he looked up at the Nevermore circling ominously above them. He could feel the pressure of the challenge, but the rewards from the mission were tempting enough to make him push forward.

"Alright, team," Oscar began, glancing at Blake, Yang, Ruby, and Weiss. "We need to work together if we're going to bring that thing down. Ruby, you're the fastest. Distract it and keep it from diving at us. Blake, use your agility to flank it and aim for the wings. Yang, we need your raw power—focus on blasting it when it's vulnerable. Weiss..."

Weiss crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. "What exactly do you expect me to do?"

Oscar smirked slightly. "Use that fancy Glyph magic of yours to support us. Create platforms, slow it down—whatever you can manage. We need control."

Weiss huffed but nodded begrudgingly. "Fine. But don't mess up."

"Alright," Oscar muttered to himself. "Time to put this to work."

The Nevermore screeched, diving toward them with incredible speed.

"Ruby, now!" Oscar shouted.

Ruby dashed forward with Crescent Rose, slashing at the Nevermore's feathers and forcing it to veer off course. Weiss quickly summoned a Glyph, creating a platform for Blake to leap from.

Blake landed gracefully on the platform and fired Gambol Shroud at the Nevermore's wing. The shot connected, slowing it momentarily.

Yang roared, charging up her gauntlets. "Eat this!" she yelled, releasing a powerful blast that struck the Nevermore's chest. The impact sent the Grimm screeching upward, momentarily disoriented.

Oscar activated Earth Pull, targeting the Nevermore's wings to destabilize it further. A burst of energy emerged from the ground, dragging the creature downward.

"Keep it up! Don't let it recover!" Oscar yelled, leaping into the air and slashing at the Nevermore with Midnight Fang.

Weiss summoned another Glyph, boosting Yang into the air for a follow-up strike.

The battle raged on, with the team working in perfect synchronization. Despite the Nevermore's relentless attacks, they managed to wear it down bit by bit.

As its HP dipped below 10%, Oscar's system pinged:

[ Warning: Boss entering rage mode. Prepare for increased attack power and speed. ]

"Great," Oscar muttered, tightening his grip on his weapon. "Just what we needed."

"One final push!" he called to the group. "Let's finish this thing!"

The Nevermore attack, as the 5 then ran, as they then was sent on a broke statue, as they stand on they saw the bird was ready for an attack.

Oscar then looked at Yang. "Wanna do something Risky".

Yang grinned at him as she spoke. "Yes".

Oscar looked at Weiss. "Use your Glyphs to make Yang jump and sent her to the Nevermore".

Weiss yalled at him. "Why".

Ruby then spoke. "No time".

Ruby grabbed Yang, she jumped up with her, she the used her scythe as using the Bullets they were flying as she sent Yang flying, Ruby then started to drop, by Weiss Glyph catched her.

As Ruby and Yang soared toward the Nevermore, the bird screeched in preparation for its devastating attack. The team's plan had set things in motion, and now, it was up to Yang to make her move.

"Yang, now!" Oscar shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos.

With a wicked grin, Yang's Burning Heart activated, her gauntlets glowing as she punched forward with all her might. She used Weiss's Glyphs to propel herself into the air, speeding toward the Nevermore with deadly intent.

Oscar's heart raced as he watched Yang fly toward the bird, her energy crackling like lightning. Midnight Fang in hand, he prepared for the next phase of the plan. As Yang neared the Nevermore, he could see the bird's beady eyes locking onto her. This was the critical moment—if Yang didn't land her hit, the rest of them would be in trouble.

"Come on, Yang," Oscar muttered, as he prepared to cover her from below.

The Nevermore was ready to strike, but Yang was faster. As she got within striking range, she slammed both gauntlets into the side of the Nevermore's massive head, her explosion of power shaking the bird's core. The force of the punch sent shockwaves through the area, causing the Nevermore to recoil, screeching in pain.

Yang grinned as the Nevermore was thrown off balance, but she knew the bird wasn't down yet. She quickly pulled back, watching as it tried to regain control of its flight.

Ruby, meanwhile, had been caught by Weiss's Glyph, but the impact had thrown her off balance. She quickly regained her composure, looking to Oscar for guidance.

"Weiss, you've got to do something to keep that thing grounded!" Ruby called out, her voice strained.

Weiss's eyes flared with determination as she quickly conjured another set of Glyphs, causing the Nevermore to slow its descent. It was still struggling to maintain flight, but it was now within reach.

"Now, Oscar!" Weiss shouted.

Oscar gripped his sword tightly, feeling the energy surge in his veins as the system sent a notification:

[ Mission Progress: Nevermore

Host: Task Completed: 90%

Prepare for Final Blow. Extra Experience and Skill Points for Final Attack. ]

Without hesitation, Oscar sprinted forward, his boots slamming against the stone ruins as he leaped toward the weakened Nevermore. He flipped through the air, aiming for the bird's throat with Midnight Fang.

"Time to end this!" Oscar yelled, his sword glowing with the power of his momentum.

In one fluid motion, he thrust the blade deep into the Nevermore's throat, watching as the creature let out one final, defiant screech before collapsing to the ground in a flurry of feathers.

The air was still as the beast's body hit the ground, its wings twitching in its final moments. Oscar stood over the creature's carcass, panting but victorious.

[ Mission Complete!

Exp Gained: 800

Skill Points Gained: 600

Bonus Reward: 300 Skill Points for Final Blow. ]

Oscar grinned, feeling the rush of victory. "That was one hell of a ride."

Yang slid to the ground next to him, still buzzing with adrenaline. "Hell yeah! That was insane!" she laughed, wiping her brow.

"We got it!" Ruby cheered, bouncing on her feet. "Teamwork for the win!"

Weiss crossed her arms but allowed herself a small smile. "I'll admit, it was a well-executed plan."

Oscar let out a satisfied sigh, looking around at his teammates. "This is just the beginning," he muttered. "We've got more to do, and I think we're all ready for it."

The group stood together, feeling the camaraderie and the adrenaline fade into the thrill of victory, but they all knew the real challenges lay ahead.

"Let's get to the others and finish this test," Oscar said with a grin. "We've got partners to find."

In the ground, Cardin smacked his Mace into the King Taijutu, as it then turns to dust, as he had smirk, as he walked away graving his relic with his team mate.

Meanwhile with that of Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren and Nora, as Jaune and Pyrrha was using the shields to block the Death Staker attack as Ren a d Nora went to attack its body, the two shielder did everything to protect as Jaune moved out of the way as he started to slash and attack jumping out of the way.

Jaune then noticed the stinger. "Pyrrha, Attack that"

Pyrrha looked at him, as he Spear read to throw, with a blast from its ban it hit the stinger of the golden part, as it then landed on the head of the Death stalker, Nora then jumped up as she strikes her Hammer down, as then died but the floor started to fall, as future Team of JNPR ran as they managed to escape.

Oscar looked at them as he then let a sighed fo relief. "We won, we survived, Yeahhhhhhhhh".

Weiss just looked at him with a side eyes. "Do you have to that excited"

Oscar just rolled his eyes. "What ever you say Ice Queen, don't forget who save you".

Weiss checks flushed as she looked at. "He-Hey why you".

Oscar just grinned at her. "Oh what will you do about it".

She kicked almost making him fall of the edge as Blake then grabbed him for falling.

Blake pulled Oscar back to safety with a firm grip, shaking her head slightly. "Careful, Oscar. Next time, maybe don't tease her on the edge of a cliff," she said with a faint smirk, though her tone was clearly teasing.

Oscar rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Point taken, thanks for the save." He glanced at Weiss, who was still flushed and glaring at him, though her expression was more embarrassed than angry.

"Y-You're insufferable," Weiss muttered, crossing her arms and looking away.

Yang burst out laughing, clapping Oscar on the back. "You're really pushing your luck there, huh? But hey, it's entertaining to watch."

Ruby skipped over, still buzzing with energy. "We did it, though! We actually survived all that craziness. This is so awesome!" She looked around at the ruins and the remains of the Grimm. "Teamwork makes the dream work, right?"

Oscar chuckled. "Well, we did make it out in one piece, so I'll take that as a win. Even if some of us had to get a little creative along the way."

Weiss shot him a look but didn't respond. Instead, she adjusted her posture, trying to regain her composure. "Let's just focus on getting back to Ozpin and finishing this test. I'm sure we've already wasted enough time."

The group began making their way toward the extraction point, the relics in hand. Along the way, they regrouped with Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora, who were catching their breath after their battle with the Death Stalker.

"That was intense," Jaune admitted, wiping sweat from his brow. "I thought we weren't gonna make it for a second there."

Nora grinned, slinging her hammer over her shoulder. "Come on, Jaune-Jaune! We totally had it under control. Smashing Grimm is my specialty!"

Ren nodded calmly. "It was a coordinated effort. Everyone did their part."

Oscar raised a hand in greeting. "Looks like you guys had just as much fun as we did. Glad to see you're all in one piece."

Pyrrha smiled warmly. "And you all as well. It seems we're off to a strong start."

The teams began their journey back, sharing stories of their battles along the way. Despite the challenges, there was a sense of camaraderie forming among the group, a bond forged in the heat of battle.

As they approached the cliffside where the platforms awaited, Oscar glanced at the horizon, feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation. "This is just the beginning," he muttered to himself. "Things are about to get a lot more interesting."
