But one fateful night, while conducting an experiment at a top-tier battery company, an explosion tore through the lab. His last memory was the sensation of his body breaking apart. And then, everything went dark.

When Li Wei awoke, he was no longer the grown man he remembered. His body was small, weak—he was a baby again. His mind raced as he tried to make sense of it all. He was lying in a cradle in a modest, stone-walled room, a warm fire crackling nearby. The air was different, thick with unfamiliar scents. Outside, he could hear the bustling sounds of a city "a city unlike any he had known".

A woman entered the room, her face gentle yet oddly distant, as she looked at him with a strange affection. "Seren, you're awake," she said softly. "You've been asleep for two days. Rest now, my dear."

Li Wei realized that in this new world, he was no longer Li Wei. He was Seren Drakoria, a name that resonated with an unfamiliar yet profound significance.

Seren tried to speak, but only baby noises came out soft gurgles and coos that filled the room " ga-ga, cou-ga-cou". The woman rocked the cradle and murmured sweet words, speaking to him in the same comforting manner as the nun had at the orphanage in Shanghai. Seren gurgled, a soft coo escaping his lips, as he tried to comprehend the situation.

Lord Zephyros continued, his eyes narrowing. "I killed your mother," he admitted, a fleeting hint of pain crossing his face before it was replaced by a mask of rage and hatred. "It is your responsibility now."

Seren's tiny fists clenched instinctively, sensing the animosity directed at him.

"When you reach three years of age," Zephyros declared, "you will be exiled to the Exiled Lands. You will be called Seren, and you will never bear the family name again, for you are a disgrace to the family "a bastard son."

Seren's mind spun with the implications. In this world, children learned to read and speak quickly, often mastering basic skills within a year of birth. Yet, he would be left to fend for himself, with only the library as his refuge.

As Zephyros turned to leave, the room fell silent, save for the crackling of the fire and Seren's soft whimpers.
