Eli wasn't surprised that the Lilith ring, bronze gauntlet, and Samaritan coat had been destroyed. He stared at the advanced beast crystal in his inventory, puzzled. He didn't remember acquiring such a valuable item, nor did he recall battling an advanced-tier beast, which would have likely ended in his death. Eli pushed the thought to the back of his mind, perhaps it was something he must have picked up while in his transformed state, though he couldn't remember. He decided to check his unseen messages.

Eli also noticed the significant increase in difficulty for the daily quests.

"Hmmm… Out of all the skills, I haven't really used the Omnipotent Eye," he mused.

Eli wanted to familiarize himself with all his skills. The human he killed during the conquest wasn't on his mind. In his view, it was their fault for not being strong enough, and if he got killed, it would be his fault for not being strong enough. That's how the world is. One thing he learned from his experience was that any gift from Lord R'ahlu should be approached with caution. The crazy fellow always put him in life-threatening situations. First, he almost fried his brain by overloading it with information, and then he gave him an Elite Dual Conquest key. Eli wasn't even planning on completing the dual conquest anytime soon.

Eli decided to distribute his unassigned stats point.

Eli stared at his reflection in the mirror. Apart from a slight increase in muscle and height, his upper body was now completely covered in a tapestry of dark black markings, like tattoos, giving him a rough, thug-like appearance. Eli shook his head. "Looks like I'll be wearing long sleeves for the time being," he muttered.

TIINNGG!

Eli was slightly startled by the message sound of his comm. He opened the message to see it was from Aunty Visoki.

[Milliette is going to a birthday party for one of her girlfriends. Can you please go with her?]

Eli stared at the message for some time. He couldn't reject it; he had already declined dinner invitations five times, and Aunty Visoki had treated him nicely since he came to Hutton. He wagered that he would just show up at the party and leave when no one was paying attention. So, thinking, he dialed Milliette Visoki's number.

"Hello? Is this Milliette? This is Eli."

"What is it?" Milliette's cold voice drifted out of the comm without any trace of enthusiasm.

Eli continued, "Auntie Visoki invited me to join your friend's birthday party."

"Okay. I am at the Downtown Carverll. Why don't you come over?"

"Who's that, Milly?" a girl in all NeonSilk and LV asked Milliette curiously.

She was Milliette Visoki's WRB (white-rich-beautiful) girlfriend, Salopot Migrandes: The birthday girl.

NeonSilk brands are the epitome of elegance, blending advanced nanotechnology with timeless fashion. Each garment is woven with bioluminescent fibers that can change color and pattern based on the wearer's mood or environment. Another tall and glamorous girl sat right next to Milliette Visoki; both of them were Milliette's BFFs since childhood.

"Just a loser. He is my mom's friend's son. I have no idea what got into my mom's mind. Like, seriously? Guess what she has been doing? She wanted to set me up with that dude. Can you believe that? Me and a country Pogue? Eew!" Milliette put her Comm away and said with a heavy frown.

"So, he has met your parents," Salopot Migrandes jested. She was too curious not to press Milliette with more questions. "How does he look? Is he rich? Is he as good as my boy Oliver Grath?"

Oliver Grath was Salopot Migrandes' boyfriend; he was tall and handsome, a charming captain of the school basketball team. His family owned the 'Grath Grand Hotel,' one of the top five five-star hotels in the Hutton District. Although the basketball team captain never lacked admirers, he had always been very proud of being able to date the popular girl Salopot Migrandes.

"You are such a gold digger! Is money all you care about?" The tall and more distant-looking girl rolled her eyes at Salopot Migrandes.

"What's wrong with that? I don't date fat losers who are poor, you know," Salopot Migrandes put her hands on her hips, elbows up and pointing out, as she shot back at the other girl.

"Fine, fine, we all know you have high standards," Milliette Visoki put in. "His name is Eli Dengare Baxter, and he is from Slough Estate. He is from an average family and looks… okay, I guess? But my mom insisted that he is Mr. Right because he is honest."

"Honest? How much is that worth nowadays?" Salopot Migrandes burst out laughing.

The tall girl next to Milliette Visoki shook her head and said in a serious voice, "Don't listen to her. However, he does sound very much out of your league. Even if you think you like him, your relationship will be doomed."

"I didn't say that I liked him. Stop worrying your pretty head about it, girls. I am just annoyed with my mom," Milliette Visoki said helplessly.

"If you don't like him, maybe I can offer you a helping hand. I will teach him a lesson," Salopot Migrandes snorted.

Milliette Visoki rolled her eyes, feeling so annoyed with her mother and her friends that she didn't even know what to say.

After a while, they saw Eli walking toward Downtown Carverll. Downtown Carverll was extremely popular among the middle class and white-collar workers. They would meet with their friends to spend a relaxing weekend afternoon. Even at Downtown Carverll and among her kind, Milliette Visoki had caught many customers' attention. Her beauty was exceptional even among a group of well-educated white-collar women. The two girls that accompanied her were also of exceptional beauty. One was tall and glamorous, the other petite and cute. The three women had slowly become the center of attention at Downtown Carverll.

Therefore, it wasn't hard for Eli to spot Milliette Visoki. He waved a hand at her and walked toward her table. He sucked at talking to girls; however, he didn't want to disappoint Auntie Visoki, so he better press on.

"Hi." Milliette greeted him back politely. However, she remained a distance away from Eli.

Eli noticed the girl with a hot body and a glamorous look did not even spare him a glance as he approached their table. Carrying a cup of coffee, she peered out of the window but was looking at nothing. Her face lacked any emotion, but the message was clear: Do not talk to me.

"You are Eli?" Salopot Migrandes looked around at him as disdain flickered in her eyes.
