[ JUNE 17, 1989 ] [ WIZARDRY WORLD, HOGWARTS GROUNDS ]
[ "-the brute class which you are trying to introduce in the new batch of Monster Cards seems to be intriguing, a mix of both tank and troll-like qualities." ]
[ "Can I make some suggestions abou- oh, we are here." ]
Felix kept nodding at Professor McGonagall's words, him not having the heart to stop her from talking about Monster Cards, or even to tell her that they have walked past the gargoyle statue leading to the Headmaster's office.
Thankfully she noticed the oddity, and walked back in quick motion to the eagle statue, with Felix silently following her. Hand behind his back as he silently digested the suggestions he was given, by one of the most skilled and patron of his inventions.
Fire magic is overpowered, need to balance that. Other elemental magic needs to be stronger in some sense, the water, earth, air. More class types, combat effectiveness and such.
[ "Licorice wand!" ]
Felix watches closely the gigantic eagle statue in front of him move away, making a stairway for him to climb up to. With Professor McGonagall pointing at the stairway, silently telling for him to move along.
[ "Albus is waiting for you up there, he's probably playing with some of those golems again." ]
[ "If you need me, then just go to my office." ]
[ "Best of luck, Felix." ]
Smiling at him, the caring House Head of his turned her feet and continued walking back to her office. Silently praying inside her heart that her young student hopefully passes the interview.
Felix who's slightly worried about not having a backer any more, in having to confront and do a one-to-one interview with the old Headmaster, whose witty beyond wits made him slightly wary.
But nonetheless he put on a brave front and set one foot to the stairway which moved on its own in feeling someone's presence. The slow and mechanical way he ascended made Felix more worried, as he had time to overthink.
What if the Headmaster doesn't like me. What if he tells me straight up to spend another year traveling the world, finding what's special for me. Or, or what if.
Countless thoughts of both good and bad entered his overthinking head, the bad weighting over the good as the office of the Headmaster showed itself to him bit-by-bit.
And before he could notice it, the staircase stopped moving. With the old Headmaster being nowhere to be seen, Felix looked to the left, then to the right, then finally in front, and yet the Headmaster wasn't there.
Felix's fiery red-eyes shined bright in seeing the antiques, valuables, and rare extraordinary alchemy products scattered around the room.
His eyes particularly focused on both the pensieve on the corner of the room, and at the books which are tucked away on the bookshelves which leads to the small 2nd floor in front of him.
All being rare, and unique knowledge that the old Headmaster has gathered in his hundred plus years of life. Felix took a glimpse on some of them when he was given a chance.
Based on what he noticed, it was either about very rare and obscure topics of spells, rituals, and knowledge that dates back hundreds of years. Alchemy related books, or joke books, sometimes even ways on how to knit disguised as old tomes.
[ "Oh, hi Fawkes." ]
But he was very much more focused, taken aback by noticing Fawkes. A magical beast classified by the Ministry around the world to be XXXX, the second highest difficulty in classification.
Yet the combat effectiveness of this slightly bigger flaming turkey can reach even that of XXXXX, the highest Ministry classification.
At one point in the original works, Fawkes, this bird itself will fight a Basilisk, a XXXXX classified beast. A thousand year-old at that time, the beast stood no chance with the combined effort of one 12 year-old, and this bird who was staring at him weirdly.
Yes, Fawkes the Phoenix is itself an anomaly that Felix is both wary, amazed, and curious about. Hoping to someday draw some of its blood, and create an alchemical prop relating to it, or having the quality of Phoenix.
Mainly the reincarnation aspect of the said bird, which has always made him curious. On their last days they'll lose their light, before ultimately dying and being born again through their ashes.
A process which was called by Dumbledore and many magical experts as Burning Days. A process that Felix has never seen before, hoping to see in the future.
[ "Here take this." ]
[ "Hide it from the old man, alright?" ]
To garner favor from the legendary unkillable, immortal Phoenix. Felix pulled out a sack of Monster Cards out of his pockets, under the eyes of the curious bird who slightly recognized Felix, but not by that much — with Felix having pulled a Monster Card out amongst the other cards.
This one resembles the Phoenix Fawkes, who's both curious and shocked in seeing himself. More majestic, drawn, and animated inside a Monster Card than its owner — Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster has been a fan off.
[ "It's based off of you." ]
[ "15th batch: Phoenix." ]
Felix watches closely how the once wary bird slowly lowers its head from the pedastal-like golden straight stick it once was. Looking down at Felix, the bird opened its beak, careful as to not damage the gift it received.
Feeling happy in seeing it being drawn, not fully understanding that it's not him, but a depiction based on him. But nonetheless, it had known how its owner complained and grumbled to itself and to the sorting hat, or to the paintings how he doesn't have a card based on him — and guess who has one, definitely not him.
Feeling satisfied, Felix admires the bird more which his classmates, and friends used to gawk on about all the time when he first got in the Gryffindor House. On how the Headmaster is a wise-sage, with wisdom accumulated through wars, and a Phoenix pet to boot.
The over exaggerations of them made him create an image in his mind, on how Phoenix are difficult, on how they are gigantic at the point that they can bite off dark wizards heads off. Yet, the docile nature Fawkes is giving him, shattered that.
With him appreciating the beauty of the magical beast, wanting to examine it more closely as for his next step in creating an alchemical product. A golem shaped like a Phoenix, has the ability of Phoenix, and nature of a Phoenix.
That sounded wonderful, especially to Felix who much rather create than enjoy his products.
[ "Hey everybody, I'm bac-" ]
[ "Huh? You aren't Dumbledore?" ]
His delusions of the future were stopped by a tired sounding voice iminating from behind. Turning around Felix noticed a wizard painting, dressed in traditional robes looking at him confused — around him are other paintings which are either empty or have someone sleeping in them.
Felix of course quickly realized who this was. In noticing the goatee, the proud pompous but caring look the man was giving. Of course this has to be that Headmaster — Phineas Nigellus Black, the most disliked Headmaster of Hogwarts, now living off as a painting inside the current Headmaster's office.
[ "Good morning, Headmaster Black." ]
[ "I'm Felix Harp, nice seeing you again." ]
