The 7th Great God (Overlord Fan Fiction)

The next morning reconstruction was slated to begin. However, Night Silver had a thought during the night. So the leaders of each race gathered to listen to her idea. 

"Good, now that everyone is ready. I'd like to change up our original plans." Night Silver said, still with several children hanging around her. 

"We will do whatever the Goddess wants us to do." The leaders answered in a slightly more common response. 

"The original plan was to have three separate settlements. One for the Dwarves, one for the Winged-Humans and then another for the Elves." Night Silver began, trying her best to act the part. "What I saw last night makes me believe this to be an ill informed idea. So Instead, I will use my power to reshape this mountain so we may have a single, large settlement with enough space for all of our needs." She explained, pointing to the map. 

At first the Dwarven and Elven Leaders were a bit upset, then realized just how big of a problem the original plan truly was. Between the mixed species lovers, and the distance between the settlements. It would likely put an unfair burden upon the Winged-Humans. And if anyone learned anything from the celebration last night, it was that everyone present had similar problems. 

If managing relationships wasn't problematic enough, there was the issue of Night Silver having to move around. And that's where the leaders drew the line. Making their goddess work that hard just because they wanted to continue with the original plan was more than a little bit selfish. Especially considering another fact, which was the absolute breaking point that shattered the original plan. 

"Mother, you're completely right. I wouldn't dream of making you fly around to each of the settlements while carrying the spawn of your loins." The Elven leader said, nodding in agreement. 

This response surprised Night Silver. Huh, I hadn't thought of that as an issue. If it works, I guess it works. "Pfft, such a small problem. I'd have sent Brighty out to take care of anything if it really came to it. But yes, I can see where all of you wouldn't wish such a choice upon me." She giggled. "Now, before I explain how this change will work. There is a rule we must adopt in this settlement. It's mostly my own selfish reasoning but bear with it…" She continued. 

"Whatever it is, I'm sure we will agree without protest." The Winged-Human Elders answered. 

"Well, it seems that men are unilaterally allowed to walk about showing off their full chest and upper body. I understand it's just how things were done, but allow me to clue you men in on something… Women are attracted and aroused by a man's body, just as much as Men are attracted and aroused by a woman's body." Night Silver began her reasoning. "So, I'd like there to be no restrictions on women proudly going topless as well. It's either that, or men must be clothed as well. And to be honest, with what would need to be covered… the former option is for the best." She continued. 

"Hmm, I don't see a reason why not. But is it really that big of an issue?" Floating Cloud asked. 

Once Floating Cloud asked this question, dozens of women had overheard it and rushed over. All of them were from different races, giving Floating Cloud a common stare. 

"Mother couldn't be more right. Sometimes this strap holding my chest is just stifling. What's worse is that there isn't a good reason why I should have to hide my bosom." A warrior among the Winged-Humans said, ripping her chest strap off, then stood there proudly unbothered by the lack of coverage. "Ohh wow, that feels way better. Ladies you should really try this, Mother our Goddess really knew what she was talking about." She added taking in a deep breath and exhaling. 

There was a moment of curious murmuring going around. "Uhm, the rule hasn't been put in place yet though, right?" One asked. 

"Ah, screw it. We're going to make it a rule right now." Another woman said removing her top as well. "Oh my, this is… Oh wow… So freeing. And this will make it easier to breastfeed without getting the side eye." She exclaimed after experiencing the sense of freedom. 

"I see… Well, my only worry was if women would even want it. Otherwise I'm sure we could have made an exception for our goddess to do what she wants." Floating Cloud said, feeling an odd bit younger. "Since it seems like there are a great many women that like the idea… I just wonder if it's okay that we force all of them to do this…" He continued, finally demonstrating his misconception. 

"Oh? No, it's just a rule that allows women to choose whether they wish to be topless or not. This funnily enough actually gives them the choice. Beforehand the rules were forcing women to live day to day in discomfort to some degree." Night Silver mentioned. Something you'd only find out if one gave them the chance to discuss the issue, or at the very least see just how much different they acted in the bath. "And in the end, I still would have gone bare as often as I pleased. I just wanted to give my daughters the choice. On top of that, there is a type of warrior training that is immensely important. And it wouldn't be possible without such a freedom in place. You'll begin seeing the fruits of it later." She continued explaining. 

The Elders and other Leaders nodded in agreement. They couldn't go against their Goddess, not that they wanted to in the first place. The reasoning Night Silver demonstrated was rock solid. It was also painfully obvious for all to see, the women of all races wanted to have the option to walk as they pleased with confidence, freedom and pride. 

"I agree, this rule might have other benefits left yet undiscovered. And, as much of a change as it is… I can't say I dislike seeing such a sight either." The Dwarven Leader was the first to speak. 

"I agree as well, the women among the elves have been rather persistent about this issue as well. Even going so far as taunting us men…" The Elven Leader agreed. 

"Well, we have no issue with it. A warrior must be able to fight under any circumstances. Shying away just because of a bit of exposure would be terrible." The Elder left of Floating Cloud mentioned.
