The Aurora Paradox

A tragedy struck when Leon was 12. A catastrophic event, shrouded in mystery, erased his memories and left him with no recollection of his past. The incident's cause and circumstances remain unknown.

Leon found himself in the city's slums drenched in blood but his body was complety fine, with no memory of his family, home, or any identity.

Confused and scared, he struggled to survive. He began begging to make ends meet, often going hungry. The harsh environment hardened him, but his innate guts and wits remained.

Leon grew up on the streets, relying on his wits and resourcefulness. He do not have time to form any bonds with fellow street children around his age. The constant struggle for food and safety took priority over emotional connections.

With a lot of theft of his belongings and money he does not have too much to hope for. He was struggling to survive for next day.

He does not have any knowledge of anything left in him so he asked other beggars and children about how the city works.

He struggles and struggles and struggles which make him a man with definate ressolve.

He faked his blindness to get people sympathise with him so that he can earn money.

As Leon stepped in the spatial lift he thought floor twenty in his mind and he was instantly teleported to twenth floor.

He he entere the floor he walked toward the Equipment counter and and said what he was told to.

The employee on the other side of the counter was in confusion. Because by seeing his looks he looked like very rich and famous idol. But by his clothes he was looking like beggar.

He has to call Kevin to confirm his identity. Asfter he confirmerd his identity he gave Leon his bank passbook. Space ring, keys and address of his new appartment, some daggers and light leather armour fitting for his assassin class.

After giving those items to Leon the employee said:

"This space ring is A Rank item with storage capacity of Hundred cubic metre, there are some clothes inside and two pair of four Hunter Academy uniform." With a little pause employee said.

"The black uniform is worn by 1st years then comes white for 2nd years and lastly golden yellow uniform which will be worn by 3rd years. There is also 50 gold coin inside your bank card. Sir Kevin asked me to give you a phone and provide you, your rank details card." he ran here and there on floor twenth and give Leon his brand new mobile and his rank card.

Rank card was pitch black saying his name witha photo, rank, potential and class was also written with golden letters on them. There was no section of element because colour of the card indicate the element you have.

After receiving the equipments he put them inside the space ring one by one.

"Thank you." Leon said while checking his new ring. As he was checking he used his all seeing eye to check if it can work. To his surprise it actually worked.

Made by skilled blacksmith. It has storage sapce of 100 cubic metre.

He want to straight up go to his new room but he had a thought and went for shopping instead.

After about 3 hours Leon was standing in front of giant building with twenty floors in it. He had changed his clothes to new one. He was now wearing a cream coloured shirt and black cargo pants with black sweater on top of of the shirt. And was wearing white sneakers instead of those big ass boots.

He was looking very handsome in this attire.

He stepped inside the building which had a blue colour build. As he got inside he was stipped by security gaurd. He show security his key.

He walked up to the secon floor and entered inside a room. It has number on it 102.

The building was situated just 2 km from the Hunter Academy.

The apartment was very big. Its insides were painted white, as you enter the apartment There is is a big living room cositing of sofa and dining table . There was large screen in front of the the sofa hanging on the wall. Leaving room is attached to a kitchen. Which was also quite big and also have a small fridge.

There was two doors leading to two seprate rooms with attached bathroom from the living room.

Both of these rooms were quite big with king sized bed in both of them.

As Leon entered in a room. He emptied his space ring. Inside it was almost twelve sets of luxurious clothes and four pair of shoes along with four academy's uniforms.

There was some food, groceries, toothbrush, soap shampoo etc. He asked suggestion of cashier of a mall. To help him find necessary thing for his new appartment . He spent almost 30 gold in these things.

He the gold coin given by Evan to a begger because he no longer needed it.

After eating food put the groceries in the fridge and clothes in the cabin. He then take a shower.

After shower he heared a ding in his mobile he was not very familiar with mobile so he had to process what was going on.

After he somehow unlocked his mobile. A notification appeared above the screen he clicked the notification. He entered message app with Kevin message on it saying

Kevin: Your instructor will come tomorrow to your appartment at 10 AM and you can access the library next to your building with no restriction. I would be enable to contact you from now on because there are many eyes.

Leon: Okay!

Kevin: And the thing I asked. You will have to become no.1 at every aspect in the academy wether it being in combat power, ranking, acadamics and other things.

Leon: Why?

Kevin: Just do it and you will understand when the time comes.

Leon: Okay

Kevin: Goodluck! Have fun with your time in academy.

Leon threw the phote it was past 9 PM.

He checked his status again. After checking he opened Quest menu. A yellow screen appeared in front of him.

After reading panelty he immediately started doing push ups and sit ups.

After about 10 minutes he completed his exercise with last push up.

After doing exrecise he didn't even feel exhausted. So he countinued his pushup to see what was his limit.

30 minutes passed as Leon was drenched in sweat and was breathing heavily. He had done 100 more pushups . He was so tired,he used a towel to wipe all the sweat on his body.

And walked towards a room he jumped on the bed and went to sleep. Next morning around 8 AM sunlight was hitting his face. And he can hear light chirping of birds.

As he hear those chirping "Wait birds" he opened his eyes and found himself in outside of a vast forest.

" What the hell is going on? Am I still dreaming?" He was very confused by this whole situation.

"So you finally woke up, huh!" he heared a man voice coming from top of a tree.

"Who are you" said Leon with calm tone.

"I am your new I instructer" man jumped from top of the tree and appeared in front of Leon.

Man was wearing full black attire covering his face only eyes can be seen

" My name is Karlos ." Spoke the instructor.

Leon was about to say someting but he fell sense of danger. He got goosebumps and his mind was alerting him.

A dagger was stopped in front of his throat it was Karlos who who moved swiftly and his dagger was in front of Leon's throat.

"See, You will be able to same as me in the future Kevin said that you have S Rank potential and don't know how to fight" he pass his dagger to Leon and said

"Just make a simple slash on that tree with most powerful skill you have." Karlos said while pointing his finger to a black oak tree which was more wider and taller than other trees.

Leon don't ask any question or get angered by his doing because the only thing he needs now is only strength and fighting experience.

He walked towards thar big tree while holding a black coloured dagger in his right hand.

He activated his skill for the first time , 'Darkness decend'. He thounght of dark element covering his wepon, suddengly the white steel of the dagger became dark and was slighly radiation.

Karlos eyes become more curious about him. As he was deep in thought. Leon slashed the tree with every thing he got.

There can be seen a slash which was so deep that it reached the middle of the tree, whose size was of two humans standing together.

After seeing this Karlos said

"Hmm, you can rival with people similar to your rank with no fighting skills, but there are many flaws if you want to fight with oppents rank above than you" Karlos said wile place his hand under his chin.

"From today onwards you will sneak here away from everyone eyes to train under me." Said Karlos while seeing direct in Leon's eyes.

Leon on the other hand just nodded.

It was night time Leon was in his appartment he was completing his quest now. As he heared this he felt very good he was storing his free points from yesterday onwards to test his theory.

After about a month when he started training Leon was called in the forest one last time, two days were left for the school entrance ceremony. So today was the last day of his training that Karlos has decided for him.

In the past month he followed a very strict schdule.

Kinda important...

He will get ready and go to forest to Karlos for daily traing- 8 AM.

They will train For 7 hours with no breaks in the session.

He will reach his appartment around- 4 PM

He will freshen up after eating some snacks brought from the store.

Unknown to everyone he goes for cooking and manners (etiquette) classes.

He choose these classes because he wants to cook a good homemade food and for manner class so that he can fit in the society, so the rich kids on the academy will look at him as an equal.

After 2 hours of these classes.

He will go to library near his building and read books about history,races and other thing.

Due to high intelligence stat his comprehension and learing (skill and speed) was far more than average genius.

At 9 PM he will return to his appartment and cook some meals and then go to bed at

10:30 PM after doing his Daily Quest ]

It was afternoon time

A boy with black hair and deep sea coloured eyes was standing in front of a pig shaped moster, which was 2 metrer tall, and has three metal like horns in his head and his eyes and skin colour were red in colour.

Of course it was Leon doing his trail set by Karlos to see his progress in the past month. The pig before him was peak D rank monster.

As he was standing in front of it. Pig start running towards Leon to lauch him in the air, hoping to kill him. But as he was approaching, he find no one standing in front of him.

'Void step'

Leon appeared 10 metres away where he was standing initially. He was right behind the pig.

'Dark dash'.

He ran towards the pig with twice of his speed.

Leon appeared on the right side of the pig's head. Before pig could notice what was going on, Leon dagger coverd in dark element severed it's head like butter. Black coloured blood was oozing out of the pig's headless body.

Several notification appeared in front of Leon.

After watching this Karlos appered in front of Leon and patted him in his head.

"You're now on par with C+ Rank." He then ended the trail and give Leon his best wishes for his time in the academy.

Leon bowed and left for his appartment.
