Chapter 50: Gary~

"You've got to be kidding me..."

.

Six was looking through binoculars as he scouted a breach in UA's forested area. There he found footprints that were the same size and shape. A little scouting later, he saw the most annoying person in the entirety of the Mojave. Gary.

Normally, a single person would be fine. But not with Gary, who was cloned countless times and became a deranged tribe of a single person. Since the Lone Wanderer destroyed the original Gary, they've appeared out of thin air and terrorized the entire wasteland. And the damned Vault where the cloning took place, Vault 108, had been caved in and lost to time. No one was sure if the Cloning lab was ever destroyed and a kill on sight was given to any that saw a Gary clone.

Needless to say, the Clone of Gary was wandering aimlessly around and whispering his name. Six thought about giving his students a real life-or-death battle. But he knew that Nezu would have his head after the stunt he pulled with Momo. So after a thought, he decided to off the clone and let Nezu have fun dissecting the corpse of a Clone.

Just as Six took out his [RatSlayer] from his [Pip-boy], he saw something that made him pause. Out of the bushes, a group of seven more Gary Clones appeared. Six cursed as this was the beginning of an infection. As he reached for the phone Nezu gave him and quickly dialed Nezu's number.

.

"This better be a good reason to interrupt my tea time," Nezu threatened Six once he answered.

"We've got an infection from the Mojave," Six told him as he continued to survy the now eight Gary clones. "The type that won't die easily."

"How bad do we need to clean the area?" Nezu seemed to sigh as Six aimed.

"Eight bodies," Six said as he lined up his cross-arrow, "But be prepared for more, I'll leave one alive for you to dissect for fun."

"And do, pray tell, why would I do that?" Nezu asked without saying anything that would give the readers any threat.

"They're clones," Six told him before he took the shot, unaware of what Nezu just did.

"No need," Nezu told him, giving Six pause, "The bodies are enough. But do leave the heads intact. I wish to study their brains."

"...Very well," Six told him before realigning his shot.

.

Nezu hung up before Six could say anymore. Sighing, Six took the shot. As the first one dropped dead, the rest of the Gary Clones whipped around in alarm. With the [RatSlayer]'s silencer, they had no idea where the shot came from.

(It says Silencer on the Wiki, please don't to try and correct me.)

Soon though, one of them cried and pointed toward where Six lay prone. Six didn't mind and continued to shoot. Once he emptied his magazine, Six quickly reloaded and waited for any sign of more clones.

.

"Gary~"

"Shit..."

(Sorry, lost 90% of the chapter I had due to a power outage, this was al I could recover. A driver lost control and took out a telephone pole during the night. During the same day that all the Linemen were being transported to Florida for the help of Hurricane Milton. So I was with out power for a few days.)
