Chapter 51: Big Gary

"Gary~"

"Shit!"

.

Six rolled away as a Gary clone came behind him and slammed down a sledgehammer where he was. Getting to a crouch, Six had just raised his rifle to have something grab him from behind. It was a second Gary clone he had just missed. Breaking free and dodging the Gary with a sledgehammer, Six aimed and went to fire before he heard a monstrous growl. What came out from the bushes and trees was a massively mutated Gary. Nine feet tall and built like a Super Mutant, except for the torn Vault 108 that was hanging down like a loin cloth.

.

"GARY!!!!!!" The monster roared as it brought up a massive tree branch to use as a weapon.

.

That roar acted like a signal to summon more Garys' from the brush. Soon many clones appeared, Six quickly counted the number and swore when the number reached two digits.

26, that's how many clones arrived. Six's first thought was to run and lead them into an ambush, however, that massive mutant one made things difficult. Six then quickly took a look at his surroundings, noting where every clone was. Noting that the east was less crowded than the rest, Six pulled out something he only used a few times before. A [Nuka-Grenade]; an extremely powerful improvised explosive that incorporates the radioactive properties of a relatively rare [Nuka-Cola] variant to produce an enhanced plasma blast. Upon detonation, the target area also becomes irradiated for a short time afterward.

In other words, total devastation.

Quickly taking one out of his [Pip-boy], Six pulled the pin and tossed it at the largest of the clone groups before rushing towards the east. Drawing his dagger and his ever-trusty revolver, Six quickly dispatched the few who were staggering from the explosion. Six broke through with ease before a big stone passed by his head, thrown by the now enraged Mutant Gary.

.

"Fuck, what does that thing eat?!" Six shouted as he dodged another stone thrown by the Mutant.

.

Six ran as fast as he could as he avoided the thrown stones, soon the trees cleared and Six ran into a problem. He had inadvertently led them to the school. Six would have sworn again if he wasn't looking down at death once again as a stone broke his arm. Whipping around, Six quickly took a [Stimpack] before whipping out something he got from Father Elijah, his [Jury-rigged Tesla Cannon]. With a charge up that sounded like lightning rumbling, a bolt of plasma shot out of the cannon. It tore through the trees and Garys, and upon meeting the hulking mass that was the Big Gary, disintegrated him.

Or at least, that was what should have happened.

The Big Gary tanked the bolt head-on and only came out with a few major burns that only enraged it.

.

"Oh," Six sighed as he rapidly reloaded, "You've got to be kidding me."

.

The Big Gary roared as it charged faster than anything Six had seen before, nearly reaching him before he reloaded. With another shot of Plasma, this time it tore through the monster. The super-heated plasma and the fact that it was jury-rigged, means that it broke at the second shot. Six's hands were on fire, literally. The gloves he was wearing were set on fire by the cannon. However, Six couldn't do anything but grin through the pain as the Garys that were missed by the cannon were charging at him.

Dropping the remains of the tesla cannon, Six charged into the fray with literal flaming hands. Each punch he delivered was made with his full force and his weight behind them. The Garys, while numerous, fell like dominos. By the time Six's hands were put out by the blood, several Garys had fallen.

Six roared as he continued to tear through the Garys. Before long, Six had dispatched the last of the Garys with extreme violence. Huffing, Six stood there with blood covering his arms and face. By the time several Teachers heard the roar and were called to help Six, he was done. Power Loader and Cementoss were the first ones on the scene, and they blanched at the mess of blood and gore that was littering the ground.

Soon, the rest of the Hero faculty arrived and were dry-heaving due to the gore, Nezu, who was carried by Aizawa, was unperturbed by the gore. Veronica, who was with the faculty, came to see if Six was injured with Recovery Girl by her side. After making sure that he was okay, given the circumstances, Veronica led him away towards the Gym showers.

...

..

.

Six sighed. He was currently in the shower getting clean from the gorefest he had made. His mind was wondering where that massive Gary monster had come from. It looked like a Gary that had been changed by the FEV but without the sickly green skin. If anything, it resembled more of a Behemoth than a Super-mutant.

While he wondered where that thing came from, Veronica was currently with Nezu and Recovery Girl. The three of them were going over the remains of the Big Gary. Nezu and Recovery Girl were doing an autopsy of what was left, which wasn't much, and Veronica was going over its genetic code, trying to find out how this Gary came to be.

.

"This confirms it," Veronica sighed as she looked over the genetic code, "This one has been infected by the FEV."

"Amazing, to think this is what Humanity could come up with!" Nezu exclaimed, "Fascinating!"

"To think, this is something common in the world where you two came from," Recovery Girl was amazed, "Such a fascinating specimen."

"Hold on, what's this?" Veronica said suddenly, grabbing their attention.

"What is it?" Recovery Girl asked, her voice laced with worry.

"This isn't the FEV we know from our world..." Veronica spoke quietly.

"What do you mean?" Recovery Girl asked.

"If it means what I think she means," Nezu spoke, "This isn't good."

"This FEV isn't from our world," Veronica stated, "This FEV was made in this world. Someone reversed engineered it."
