Chapter 132: Creation of 4 longinus
Pov Dia,
I watched pieces of crystal from this mysterious planet being infused with my divine power of destruction.
I know that, over time, these fragments will gain immense destructive power, but I wonder if I can make them absorb the concept of destruction itself, even though my hopes for this are slim.
The first noticeable change was that the rainbow-colored crystal gradually took on a crimson hue as time passed.
For now, I need more than just a blacksmith. If successful, I will finally have a sacred gear equivalent to a Longinus. I can already imagine boasting about it to Azazel, who struggled to find the right materials and soul.
I plan to create four Longinus-like artifacts, each with unique powers. The second one should embody the power of creation. Of the four, I believe this will be the most challenging to imbue with power. After all, I do not possess mastery over creation. To achieve this, I must use inversion runes to negate destruction and generate the power of creation.
The crystals that would make up this Longinus will likely have a green tint, judging by the initial evolution and colour change.
The third Longinus would embody the power of gravitation and minor lightning control. Its crystals displayed bluish hues.
The final one would have a sacred power. Perhaps I would gift it to Gabriel in an effort to court her. She would look breathtaking in amor that had begun to take on a yellow hue, matching her golden hair.
As I was releasing my DPD (Divine Power of Destruction), Lola arrived to inform me that Gabriel wanted to see me regarding an urgent matter.
The angels held a favourable impression of my faction and were not dissatisfied with the current Satan, which made the prospect of a peace treaty in a century's time feasible.
I arrived in the celestial realm, where a lower angel bowed before me, though I noticed a hint of disdain in their gaze.
"Lady Gabriel is waiting for you in the Sixth Heaven. Please follow me."
I followed him, though I would have preferred someone more friendly to guide me. But as I often say, we can't have everything.
Once I arrived at the Sixth Heaven, I felt hands grasp my arm and lead me somewhere. Recognizing the hands as Gabriel's, I didn't resist but wondered if she was trying to become a fallen angel with such bold behavior.
Dia: "I could have at least gotten a hello before you tell me what you want."
Gabriel: "What I'm about to tell you is very important, and I can't let anyone else hear it."
I was already imagining Gabriel confessing her feelings to me, and Serafall fighting her out of jealousy.
Dia: "That's very flattering, but you might want to take me on a date first before skipping to the bedroom stage."
She rolled her eyes toward the heavens before speaking.
Gabriel: "That's not what I want to talk about. What I'm going to say is for the good of my race."
Dia: "And what do I get out of it?"
Gabriel: "Our gratitude, and the assurance that the relationship between our factions doesn't crumble."
Truthfully, I didn't even know what she wanted yet.
Gabriel: "You have witches in your faction, don't you?"
Dia: "Obviously, since you're unable to stop your faithful from burning them or killing intelligent women."
Gabriel: "We've been very busy."
Dia: "So busy that you let the corruption at the top go unchecked? Your tasks must be very difficult."
Gabriel: "Since Brother Michael is in charge of the system, the rest of us Seraphim are overworked, taking on duties that should already be handled."
Dia: "So, what is it you want?"
Gabriel: "I want you to ask the witches for a way for angels to have children without falling into disgrace."
