Chapter 77: A Brutal wake up
"Whoa!!!"
I woke up with a start, feeling something attached to my hands before being swung.
There was a loud boom, followed by Marie's voice complaining.
"What did I do to deserve this, Evelyn? Why did you throw me across the room?"
"This wouldn't have happened if you weren't already in my bed to begin with."
"What are you talking about? I was in my own bed for once."
I turned my head and saw her bed right next to mine.
"You even moved it."
"That's impossible! If I could move it, I would have done it a long time ago. I woke up and saw you glowing blue. Thankfully, it wasn't green, or I'd have thought you were emitting radiation. Then, when I tried to wake you up, you flung me across the room with superhuman strength. You almost threw me out the window!"
I turned my gaze to the spot she was pointing at and, indeed, she had nearly gone through the window. She would probably have been dead.
I lowered my head before speaking.
"I am sincerely sorry. I had a very unpleasant dream and woke up in shock. I didn't realize we were holding hands, or I would have been careful not to cause such a commotion."
She seemed more curious about my dream than upset with me.
"What kind of dream was it?"
"It was... It's strange, I don't remember it anymore, even though I had the feeling it was unpleasant."
"If that's how you felt during the dream, we can be glad you don't remember it—though I don't know how that's possible, considering you always remember everything, even the most unpleasant things."
We didn't have time to dwell on the strangeness of the situation because we ended up waking all the other roommates in the room. They were glaring at us with hatred for disturbing their sleep and causing a scene—something they assumed we did on purpose, even though it was completely accidental.
We went for breakfast, and I decided I would go see Myrtle since I hadn't visited her recently.
When I arrived at the girls' bathroom on the second floor, the one she haunted, I called out:
"Hi, Myrtle , how are you doing...?"
Looking around, I spotted the trio on the floor, reading a potion book as they moved forward. I recognized the page they were on—it was the one about Polyjuice Potion.
"I saw nothing, I heard nothing, and I remember nothing. And why am I even here in the bathroom when I should be studying?"
I didn't need to think too hard to realize they were planning to brew Polyjuice Potion to impersonate the Slytherins and try to find the Heir of Slytherin. Even so, I knew it was much more complicated than they thought.
I will stop the chapter now because I really don't have the feelings to write about much of my feelings were reflected at the beginning when Marie and Evelyn quarrelled. Sacher that in reality they argued a little but not just as usual as when Evelyn refused the advances of Mary in a brutal way. Don't worry normally I should feel better for the next chapter.
