I'm planning to create/give this mc a book/Grimoire in this fic that includes forging and synthesis. 

It will involve using rare mineral metals and requiring Eldritch Magic to capture a soul after a living being dies, then fusing it with the metal. 

For example: 

- Mineral metal + gold prevents rust. After successful forging, the final step is synthesizing the soul into the weapon/accessory. 

- A regular kitchen knife used for slicing fish, when synthesized using Eldritch Magic, could gain the ability to slice through animal bones. Adding more souls and factoring in their quality would yield different results. 

Synthesizing cursed spirits into weapons?
