Rebekah looked at Katherine in Elijah's arms and couldn't help but think about Damon, Stefan and Elena. "Hey Katherine, can you tell me who do you think will win between the two brothers now that everything is in the open? And why were you hostile to Caroline? I thought you like her."

"The not knowing is the exciting part. Besides, can we not gossip about children's love triangles?" Katherine had obvious displeasure.

Rebekah got excited. "Are you jealous my dear sister in law?"

"The sight of those three make me remember Jenna. How she could have been safe had they not stopped me from taking her away that time Klaus came to town." The anger is obvious.

Elijah had stiffened when Rebekah had made the insinuation, but hearing Katherine's explanation made him relax again.

"Whose Jenna?" Kol asked

"Elena's legal guardian who Nicklaus used as the vampire in the sacrifice." Elijah said in response to his brother's question. He is not stupid, he can see his brother is fond of Katherine. He answered to show he has known Katherine longer than him.

"Why did they stop you?" Rebekah asks

"Dear Rebekah, I dislike this topic." Katherine said through clenched teeth.

"Come on, I am very curious now. This is what friends do, they share their experiences."

"Are you sure you don't just want to see me in pain?" Katherine asked with a fake smile.

"Of course not. I want to know why you cared if Elena's legal guardian died or not." Rebekah defended herself lightly.

Elijah tightened his hold on her lightly. Even he doesn't know if it is to comfort her of to keep her from beating up his insistent little sister. He sighed at the silence that followed.

"I had compelled her to stab herself in the stomach with a kitchen knife." She started. The people in the room became confused.

"I later went to her asking for her forgiveness and in return I increased Jeremy's strength. She was .....pleasant and I liked her. She promised to help me in my journey to becoming a better person. She said she will be my guide. Whenever I was spiraling she would help bring me back." Katherine chocked up with the memories of Jenna's sincere smile.

The room became quiet. Katherine adjusted herself and continued.

"She was the reason I had strong armed Elena into bringing me to the Gilbert house so I can slowly wear her down until she forgave me. I pulled all the stops. Evening massages, healthy breakfasts and even let her use my clothes." She laughed remembering Jenna avoiding her until she finally accepted her.

"Until she forgave me, my face was probably every where she was. Then the threat of Nicklaus came and I wanted to take her away with me but she refused to run and hide when the child she is responsible for is in danger."

"But had Elena not prevented me from taking her along with her pets I would have been able to wear her down and get her to go. But those three United and said Jenna is her family not mine."

"They hadn't even taken any steps to keep her safe. The Salvatore brothers changed the name of the house into Elena's name so only she can invite people in, Jeremy had been enhanced by me so he could take care of himself but Jenna was left to rot into the house giving that animal a chance to drag her out and turn her only to be killed."

"I have been avoiding them so that I can keep my temper in check. Jenna loved that fragile human snowflake so I can't break her neck, at the very least It can't be because of Jenna."

"I see, so how about I kill them for you? As a caring friend?" Rebekah asked kindly.

"Really?" Katherine sounded thoughtful.

"Is that who you wanted to get out next?" Qetsiya asked. She heard her say Jenna was turned.

"No, I wont bring her back, besides I can't." Katherine said.

"Really? How come?" Qetsiya asked tilting her head.

I can't find her in your dimension." This is also a lesson for Elena and her boyfriends.

"Who are you bringing back?" Elijah asked.

"In my pursuit for Damon's hate I got that Masson dead. It is fine if he dies on his own but dying because of my scheming leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

"The one you said I should be jealous of?" Elijah's voice is low and dangerous.

"That's the one." Katherine gave him a toothy grin.

"Didn't you burn his pack crisp for biting your sire?" Elijah asked

"Yes. Such good times. You see why I need Jenna?" She laughed happily.

"Umm....she did what?" Kol asked.

"She found out the Alpha of that Mason bit her sire. She tracked them down and used the fire they were using for braai to burn them all. Including Tyler, Mason's nephew." Elijah said while Katherine laughed at the memories.

"That is quite evil of you Katherine. Aren't you worried that Masson will be angry with you?" Rebekah asks.

"I am doing it to make myself feel better. Not so I gain his favor. Besides, if I meet any of those wolves I will still kill them in the most painful way possible. Pack or no pack." She blinked.

"Why do others get apologies while other get cooked?" Kol asked with a twinkle in his eyes.

"I apologize to those I wronged. Those wolves were going around biting their way all over the place. Talking about some bullshit moon curse. I am not just a vampire I am a beast, my emotions are more primal. There is a clear line between those I love and those I want to suffer. This is not something I can control now that my fox influences me." Katherine explains lightly.

"Besides if they remained, I would have to use my cure on someone sooner or later."

"What do you mean?"

"I have the cure for werewolf bite but I needed it to be a secret at that time. But what if someone got bitten? I couldn't not cure them. We were still in good terms." She grumbles.

"So you were chasing them away?" Elijah asked.

"No, I really wanted them dead. All of them even that Tyler. Never liked the mutt. Probably because he isn't good enough for my fledgling." She said making Elijah chuckle.

"You sound too emotional darling." Kol concludes.

"I am a vampire and a fox beast. Of course I am emotional. It's up and down inside my heart. This is why I try and stay away from people who bring out the beast in me." She took out her claws.

"How did that happen by the way?" Rebekah asked.

"Haha...No comment friend." Katherine said.

"You seem fine to me, why aren't you making my tonic?" Qetsiya said looking at Katherine.

"I was sleeping soundly had it not been for a ghost spirit full of malice at the side of my bed." Katherine sneered.

"I am not full of malice." Qetsiya said

"Who are you kidding? You wanted to reap my head off the moment you saw my face." Katherine rolled her eyes.

"I didn't know you were one of them, I wouldn't want anyone to steal souls from my dimension but I definitely don't want it to be someone with this face. This face I want to burn in eternal flame every time I see it. For you to be able to do what you did and be related to that fiancé stealing ancestor of yours really caught me off guard." Qetsiya spit venom with every word. That woman who had been a mistress in her relationship makes her blood boil with fury.

"Fiancé stealing? I really don't want you in my house. That look in your eyes I've seen it before. You won't be able to stop yourself from committing a mistake. So much hate and resentment. It would be fine if I did something wrong but I am innocent here."

"Hehe...I wouldn't be here if you didn't do anything." Qetsiya gave her a hard stare.

"Alright, I brought Kol back. But this can't be the first time something like this happened. You are sitting of powerful bloodlines be it vampires, witches and werewolves. Someone would surely want to poke a whole at your dimension at some point." Katherine answered unbothered making the room silent.

"Also, didn't I promise to make it up to you? Why are you waving my previous offence in my face? Aren't old people supposed to be magnanimous towards the younger generation?" Katherine blinked.

"Magnanimous? You brought someone from death! Did you just call me old?" She narrows her eyes dangerously.

"Umm 2000 years is pretty stip. Four times my age. Are you one of those people who want to hear they look 15 every time?"

"I am going to be angered to death by you." She looked at Elijah with pity.

"Good luck young man." She said to him making Katherine squeal in delight.

"Our very first good luck Elijah. Okay, I'll make your medicine first thing in the morning." She hummed happily.

"Yes, thank you Miss Tessa." Elijah chuckled

Rebekah and Kol became speechless. This Katherine seems bipolar. Even Qetsiya is taken aback by the genuine happiness from this woman who almost fried her brain a moment ago. She blinked in confusion.

"Rebekah and Kol, I am stealing Elijah you two can sort yourself out. Qetsiya I still urge you to leave please." Katherine said. But did not make things difficult for her.

"I am still very drained. Just guard me for a few hours so I can replenish my spirit. The fox is also tired. Hey Elijah, no more bringing people back to life okay?" She yawned and blinked away tears of sleepiness.

Elijah smiled and tucked her in bed and kissed her forehead. His face darken when he sees she is already fast asleep. She really is going to doze off like this all the time? Helpless, he got up, it is still too early to sleep for himself.

"What are you doing?" Elijah found his mischievous little brother in passageway to Katherine's bedroom.

"I want to see her." Kol said plainly.

Elijah's heart skipped as he dragged him down stairs with his ear.

"What in the world has gotten into you? She is to be my wife. What thoughts are you having for her?" Elijah asked in a cold tone.

"I like her, you don't seem to want her so what's the problem? It is not too late to take a step back and allow me to see what is it I am feeling for her." Kol greets his teeth rubbing his ear.

"Take a step back? I have already gave her my word, why do you think you are alive and well? This is not something you can joke about Kol, people have to take responsibility for their actions. What you are attempting here may have catastrophic consequences for all of us."

"Me taking a 'step back' may be perceived as going back on my word and what do you think she will do then? You have seen her, can you predict what she may do? Because I can't. That is how unpredictable she is. She has made it clear she wants to marry me. If you get in the way, she might see it as the Mikaelson's playing some sort of a game on her. You've seen how she countered Nick, she may perceive this as some sort of plot."

"People like her and Nick do not understand feelings and regard them as something people use to get what they want from others. Whatever thoughts you are getting, wipe them away." Elijah whisper yelled at this willful brother.

Kol closed his blood shot eyes. "That is the problem, I don't remember ever feeling so much longing. Brother I.... I am in so much trouble. She is in my head constantly. She is amazing." Elijah got a bad feeling seeing his younger brother like this.

"She gave Nick a ruthless kick and then helped her pack members with home work that same night. She goes and takes care of the garden, she is gentle and seems at peace around those herbs. She meditates. Hours just sitting in the same position not even twitching a finger. I am enraptured by her." Kol looks at his brother sadly.

Elijah went into a cabinet he had seen Katherine take out alcohol from. He poured himself a glass. Drank and gave Kol a glass full. They drank in silence until Elijah laughed a self deprecating laugh.

"I had always been in love with her. That is why I was so angry when she fled that time. I worked hard to find a way for her to come back after the sacrifice but she had made all my efforts go to waste. Now she is back and I long for her still. Do you know what she told me when I said I was here to kill my brother?"

"She said I am throwing a tantrum. When the time comes I will not kill my brother. She called me overly emotional and compared me to Elena." Elijah said making Kol laugh a forced laugh.

"The point is she chose me, knowing my love for my family. She still chose me even though she knew Nicklaus will probably cause problems for her. Which may suggest she may have been drawn to me by that dedication I have to my family." Elijah drinks.

Kol clenched his teeth. "Just like Damon."

"Which means if she finds out she may be a reason for a shift between us. We may both loose her just like they did." Elijah said.

"This is a mess." Kol said finishing his drink.

"What do we do?" Elijah asks but how can his little brother have the answer. "Nick will love this." He chuckles darkly.

"I shall remain in the shadows. She can't find out how I feel. I just, want to be able to see her. Is that alright?" Kol's eyes are full of intense emotions.

"Are you sure you should be around her while feeling like this? Won't it be too much?"

"I'm a 1000 years old. I can hide my emotions brother don't worry about it." Kol finished his drink and left.

"That little devil." He had thought if he take away her wolves she will be at a loss but she has made a full proof plan against me. He doesn't know whether to be angered of find it funny. Now, He has been to miles of distance but he found no even a whiff of a pack, not even lone wolves. 

After crossing three cities he took his hybrids to a hotel. They didn't want to join him but he can be persuasive when he wants to be. Now they are loyal and a part of his pack. "Good evening love, may we have rooms? Be a darling and get us the best ones." He compelled her but she just looked at him and blinked. She smiled a dazzling smile at him.

"Sorry handsome, the best ones are reserved for the owners. But I do have a great large suite with 7 bedrooms in the sixth floor and another one in the opposite suite with the same number of rooms. It has all the facilities of the best rooms. I'm talking jacuzzi, balcony pools and party package equipment." She smiled pointing at luxuriously furnished rooms on a pamphlet.

Klaus is stunned, she is obviously a vampire so how is she able to.... He smiles "Bring me to whomever is in charge in here." He watched as the smile on her face never falters and picked up the phone.

"Alice, I have one of the originals here demanding to see Vic."

"Is it the one in the suit or the hybrid?" Alice asked on the phone. 

"The hybrid."

She answered and Klaus frowned. This felling is sour, he wanted to show his wolves how being part vampire is preferable to being just wolves. However, he is blocked at every turn. First he had to settle for mediocre wolves and now he can't even get a simple room.

"Mr Mikaelson, I hear you are dissatisfied with your accommodation?"

"I hear you know of me, of our family? How is that?" Klaus walked menacingly towards the man named Vic.

"It is around dinner time. Why don't you join me? We can have a pleasant meal and discuss all your questions." Vic wearing a blue suit and expensive looking shoes stood there smiling kindly at Nicklaus. 

What irritated Nicklaus the most is the complete lack of apprehension in his bright green eyes even after seeing him and knowing who he is. Klaus stood still, a clear refusal to the invitation. The Vampire named Vic smiled even brighter at this. 

"Well then, it seems what we were told about you is true." Vic said as Nicklaus gave one of his hybrids a look. The hybrid sped to the lady behind the reception desk and bit her in her arms. 

"Ow dear, that seems rather nasty. As you may know, a werewolf bite will kill a vampire. Now I will ask again. Who is it that told you about me? I am the only person who can save the lovely...Broke. And I do hate to wait." His British accent sounded in the entire hotel. 

He looked at Vic who has lost his smile but is still very calm. "Broke, Please." Vic said and in mere seconds the hotel and the door is full of vampires. It is amazing he didn't feel so many people near by. How can they elude his senses? 

"It was my understanding that you couldn't find werewolves. I was trying to be friendly so you don't loose your pitiful small pack. But you spit on my good will Nicklaus." Vic said with and extra edge to his voice. 

"We were told to be respectful, since we all hailed from the original family but also within reason. You have just gone beyond the reason when you hurt one of us. I'm gonna have to kill your little werewolf pack. Sorry not sorry." Vic opened his hands and a battle started. 

The vampires in the far end were only here to keep the humans inside their rooms. The ones fighting are the few in front of Vic who did not move but paid close attention to Klaus. The hybrids bit a few vampires but ultimately lost their lives. 

"Then, there were five." Vic said and the fighting stopped. Klaus saw that among the vampires fighting, Broke who is supposed to be disoriented from the bite is among them giving as much as she got. 

"How was it?" Vic asked Klaus who is masking his expression but he is shocked inside. This power, this speed. The revile himself and his siblings. This scene seems oddly familiar. 

"Ian Let's go, I know when I am not welcome." Klaus clicked his tongue. He has discovered something awful. The fighting vampires would go back to the back and others will replace them in the fight.

It seems he has lost again. 

The fight has been brutal but he can see they have held back. If he joins, none of his hybrids will survive. He turned and left.

.....

Katherine is asleep. Elijah is watching her sleep with longing. He is falling for her. Elijah knows the reason he hadn't fallen in love in a long time was because of Nicklaus. His brother rampaged and killed so many of the people he cares for that Elijah had given up.

This woman in this bed on the other hand can handle his brother. The man who has made him un able to let people in is being bested by this small woman who chose him as a husband. He can not believe she chose him. 

She is a little scheming and maybe violent but she is his now.

He will cherish her and with her by his side. He can finally fall in love without being constantly reminded that it could be taken away from him at any moment. 

His phone rings while he is deep in thought. It is Nicklaus. 

 Where is she?

"She is in front of me sleeping. Do you need something brother?" Elijah doesn't like the tone of Nicklaus.

She has an army of powerful vampires whose power is almost as much as ours, Did she tell you this? 

"No, she didn't" Elijah's heart skipped a bit. She actually took it a step further. How should he feel about this?

"Elijah, can't you see? She is a threat. That resort has hundreds of werewolves and now this hotel with just as much vampires. Why would she need so much power? She is clearly trying to destroy us.

"Perhaps. But she will be my wife soon. So maybe you should curve your paranoia Nicklaus. I will talk to her about it." Elijah is also full of questions now. 

"Elijah this is no time for your calm voice. If you can't completely subdue her and turn her to our side completely, she will need to be put down. I don't care if she is your wife by then." Agitated voice sounded. 

"That is not for you to decide dear brother. She is to be my wife, not yours I will talk to her. Aren't you on a mission? Don't get distracted and finish it." Elijah dropped the call and went out to have a drink. 

"You seem picky. Trouble in paradise?" Kol asked taking a drink from him.

"Nicklaus just called me. He found a large group of vampires whose power is equal to that of an original vampire. He thinks they belong to Katherine." Elijah sighed. Kol whistled. 

"This is one dangerous woman." Kol says with amusement. He is not scared of all this information, he has already been killed. Is there more to fear after death?

"Are you threatened? If you are, it is not too late to back out." Kol smiled at his older brother.

"I am not backing down. If anything this is a good thing for her. If we are really being targeted because they have found out we can now be killed, then at the very least she can protect herself." Elijah said. 

"That is very noble of you Elijah, not seeing her as a grab at her power. But seeing it as a peace of mind. Bravo brother, I must look up to you. This is probably why she chose you." Kol said sincerity.

"I am not so desperate as to grab at her things nor am I paranoid like Nicklaus to see ghosts everywhere. I am just worried about what stupid thing he will do because of this information." Elijah admitted.

"I suggest you ignore him and don't even bother her about this new information. This will show her your standing. Joining Nick on his ranting you with fracture what you two are building." Kol advised.

"You would help me? After our talk that day I figured you will be sulking." Elijah asked honestly.

"I like my current life, I am alive, I can dagger Nick whenever the mood strike and most importantly I got closer to my brother Finn. We have been going out having drinks at the side bar.

I haven't been so relaxed in what feels like forever. All of this, happened because of her. And when you marry her, she will be part of our family." 

Elijah is dumbfounded at this statement. He had always thought Nicklaus would eventually return to being that sweet boy he knew, so he had indulged him thinking he will eventually be touched by his loyalty and devotion.

But maybe he had been going about it the wrong way. What he needed was a firm hand. 

Elijah drank alcohol with his brother and then decided to go back to Katherine who had decided to come sleep in his own room at his own house this night.

He knows she most probably wanted to chase away everyone out of her home so she locked the house and chased away Qetsiya and them. 

In the morning. Katherine stretched her arms and went to shower bumping into Rebekah.

The two of them looked at each other, Katherine is the first to run towards the bathroom on this floor. Rebekah is speechless as the door shut in her face. 

Kol laughed when he heard that Katherine left the bathroom inside of Elijah's bedroom probably because Elijah is still in there and they haven't consummated their relationship yet. Kol has been around a long time so it is easy for him to see the sexual tension

between the two. What is that fox thinking? 

"Why did you go wash at some other place leaving a perfectly functioning bathroom here?" Elijah asked as he puts on his belt. 

"My fox wants us to become one body."

Katherine walked towards Elijah and fixed his light grey shirt. Elijah's movements stopped. He looked at her blinking. 

"It is a process of binding our bodies. If she succeed, we will be connected beyond belief. I don't think we are ready for such a deep connection." Katherine put her hands on his arms tracing the outlines of the clearly defined muscles. She gulped, her eyes staring at his lips as if dazed. 

"Katharina." He removes a hair and pulled it to behind her ear. She leaned into his touch.

"Why are you hesitating? I have been trying not to take you when you are not ready but I am only a man, and I am your man now. Are you having second thoughts about this marriage? Were you not serious in the first place?" 

Katherine looked at him with hesitation. "There is something rather embarrassing I should tell you about my body, At first I didn't mind it too much because I wanted strength but now...." She showed immense sadness on her face. 

"Gain my current physical strength I had to go through a process that went about destroying and rebuilding my body. After it was done my body felt new. And most of the impurities accumulated over the centuries were almost completely wiped out from my system."

"Impurities?" Elijah asked a little confused.

"A human eat food and water, but these do not only provide nutrients they also have bad things that will make them sick if consumed in large quantities but as vampires we drink their blood which is filled with all sort of impurities. These will make humans sick and grow old faster but to us, it hinders our growth, make our bodies heavier so we are slower than we should be."

"So by going through the process my body is returned to the state of purity... in a sense. My scar from child birth is gone, any scar I may have had as a human is gone."

"Did you say child birth?" Elijah's eyes widened

"Ah yes, you may not know. I was originally kicked out of my home after having a child out of wedlock. My father saw me as a shame and deported me to England. That is where I met you people."

"I see, did you ever found your child?"

"I tried, it was as if father dropped her somewhere isolated. I then realized it is probably better she not know her mother had become a monster who lust after blood of the innocent." Katherine said with a hard tone.

"Now, not even the scar that made me feel like a her mother remains." Katherine has an aura of sadness. Elijah hugged her by reflex. Whispering words of comfort. Katherine enjoyed his care but soon came out of his arms to finish her story.

"Elena probably came from that child as the only human survivor of my family after what happened. I want to be her family but we have an inherent dislike for each other it's almost out of our control." She said helpless.

"The problem I am worried about is what if I bleed on you? My fox beast blood is special. Drink enough you are one of my solders, drinking too much you become my slave." She looked at Elijah who had wide eyes.

"That is some special blood."

"Now, I don't think I got my maiden head back but that kind of place, it is essentially where all my womanly charm lays. We need to be careful."

"I'm still processing." Elijah sat down.

"Before you despair, there is a way to ensure my blood doesn't affect you, but it will essentially make us of the same body and spirit. The ancients used it to prevent infidelity and to strengthen the bond of a married couple since they used to marry for family reasons other than love."

"Or we can use a condom. This fun human inventions which will save us the heavy stuff." Katherine said hoping she did not scare him too much. She looks at him getting a little apprehensive about what she just told the man.

How would she react if she found out the man she is planning on marrying had such a dangerous ability?

"Katharina this .... is this how you amassed your army?"

"My blood can not make them powerful if that is what you are asking. It made them loyal. I can stay here while Klaus is out there with full confidence that non of my people will betray me. They may not be fiercely loyal but the won't harm me."

"This is all too much information all at once.....I " He looked at Katherine and hesitated.

"How can you trust me with this information?"

"I had no choice but to tell this to you Elijah. We are to marry. It is necessary to avoid accidents. But seeing you like this, you can back out of this engagement if you wish to. I won't hold you responsible. I will understand." She put on a light sweater from no where and a short casual skirt, then she put on sneakers the same color as the sweater.

She put on earrings and thumb ring. She kissed his chick about to leave but is pulled into Elijah's broad arms. He moved her hair and brought her face to his in a passionate kiss.

The kiss was long and filled with possessiveness. "Umm..." Katherine is in need again.

"You will not wizzle your way out of this marriage. I was just taken aback by the information. I am happy you told this to me. I am even happier you told it to me before our wedding." He smiled at her.

"Mm..." Katherine is still finding her voice. Elijah hold her even more tightly seeing her response to his advances. He really can not wait to explore her thorough and see all these little reactions to all that he will do to her perfect little body. His excitement became obvious making Katherine surprised.

"I am going shopping with you little sister, I don't imagine her royal highness will approve of waiting while we get a quickie out of the way." Katherine laughed.

Elijah chuckled at her. "You are cute if you think I'll settle for a quickie after all the buildup you have done. Hehe.. I'll take nothing less than an entire night. I can promise to massacre any one who dares to disturb us then." Elijah said his eyes held promises that made Katherine's body shudder.

"Elijah...." Katherine's body has turned numb. Can she just forsake all and have at it? A girl can only take so much temptation.

"Come out!" Rebekah shouted from down stairs. Katherine lost all excitement and cane out as if she didn't just almost begged Elijah for a quickie a moment ago. 

"Gods, your voice can wake the dead." Katherine came down holding Elijah's arm like a shy maiden. 

"Stop pestering my brother and go away with me. I'm sure my dear brother needs a break from you practically glued to his body." Rebekah pulled a laughing Katherine off his body. 

When they left the house Kol came out meeting Elijah in the lounge. "I see you are still holding back." 

"She thinks she has her virginity back." Elijah said and Kol spit out the drink in his mouth. 

"So? You are to be married." 

"I think I need to make it a special occasion. I shall be a gentleman and make it special for her." Elijah smiled. 

"My brother the romantic, Haha...." 

"I have to make some arrangements." Elijah practically skipped back upstairs to get his phone.

"So when is the wedding?" Rebekah asked trying out a blue strapless dress that Katherine sis not like for her. 

"Soon, don't worry it probably be just the two of us. I know I say marriage but I meant the partnership and not the ceremony." Katherine took away what Rebekah was wearing and returned it to the hanger and chose a dress color that complements her skin tone. 

"Maybe we should have asked Caroline to come. She is the one in charge of the party anyways. She is good at this." Katherine said when it is her turn to choose. 

"Ow my, is that recognition I here from the great Katherine Pierce? I'm flattered miss Pierce and for your words, I will help you free of charge .....this time." Caroline ransom to them and started helping. 

Leaving an awkward Bonnie on the side. "Come on Bonnie, I won't pick on you today, I'm in a good mood." Katherine waves and called Bonnie over. 

"I will believe that when I see it." Bonnie grumbled but came over anyways. 

"I haven't seen your mom, did she come home just to be a shut in mom?" Katherine jumped right in. 

"Wow, straight to the big stuff." Bonnie cringed. 

"No, she is saying she had missed a lot of magic practice and is catching up. She is just weirdly inspired and .....happy." Bonnie said. She is not enemies with Katherine especially after she helped cured her mom and practically returned her back home. 

"As long as all is well. There, I was nice to Bonnie." Katherine said in a celebratory mood. Rebekah laughs as well as Bonnie and Caroline. 

"Good job." Caroline mocked. 

"Yes, I did it." Katherine continued like she isn't being mocked. 

"Why don't you like Bonnie anyways? Is it because she is a witch?" 

"No, it is because she is the pillar of the group. Very important and powerful but most importantly. They would fall apart without her but she walks around like she isn't the heir to the Bennett bloodline. I mean, does she not know? The Bennett are legend in the community." Katherine's ranting caught everyone off guard. 

"Are you saying you admire me? Or is it envy?" 

"Gods no. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes even if you paid me. Your blood comes with a lot of pressure. Not to mention that little business with the Gemini coven. Nasty business that is." 

"What are you talking about?" Bonnie and the others looked confused. 

"There is this powerful coven I used to go to for cloaking spells. They are renowned for those. Also for creating prison worlds. But get this, the key to getting out of them is Bennett blood. Doesn't that sound suspicious to you?" 

"I understand, they create a prison but the one to hold the key is some other people not related to them. Easy to ensure no one opens the prison and release the prisoners." Rebekah said. 

Bonnie is surprised she doesn't know all this information. 

"I asked Emily if she doesn't find it suspicious that her bloodline is dying off like this? I mean someone thought it was a good Idea to make their bloodline a key to a place where some of the worse supernatural creatures are imprisoned. Dumb if you ask me." Katherine said not realizing Bonnie has turned pale. 

"Bonnie this one will complement your eyes. Go try it will you?" Caroline pushed her friend towards a changing room. 

When Bonnie got in Caroline pulled Katherine. "What the hell was all that's stuff? It is upsetting Bonnie, so cut it out." Caroline whisper yelled. 

"Oh yeah, Emily also got upset that day. I should probably keep things like this to myself no?" Katherine had forgotten about that detail. 

Rebekah and Caroline look at each other speechless. 

"Let's just shop." Katherine realized she may have over share. There is a tacit understanding between Rebekah and Katherine to not ask the two girls why Elena is not part of their little shopping trip. 

They agreed to go eat together Bonnie also reluctantly came along. "Hey pretty waiter don't you sell something stronger here? I want bourbon." Katherine flirted with the brunette.

"If you get me a glass I'll be very grateful." She looked at the girl's name tag and found a Mike in the name. She laughed happily. 

"Hey Mike, do you want my number?" Katherine blinks at the girl who laughed as well because her name tag belongs to someone else since she is a temporary staff. 

"Such a lovely lady...of course I want her number. Haha.." 'Mike' went away still smiling. 

"Did you just flirt with a girl? Can you do that while engaged to someone?" 

"Umm...you're over thinking this. Mike is a treat for both me and my future husband. Wait, you guys don't think Elijah can handle a little human girl? You underestimate my betrothed." Katherine said still looking at the girl from before. 

"You like girls?" Bonnie asked confused. 

"Don't you?" Katherine blinked. 

"I'm pretty sure I like guys." Bonnie said. 

"But how do you know?" Katherine wiggled her eyebrows playfully. "If you haven't tried it?" She reached out to move her hair behind her ear. The action is simple but done by a fox kin with that natural charm makes it seem sensual. 

"If you give me a chance, I can show you that you actually like girls ....a lot." Bonnie scooted away from her making Rebekah and Caroline laugh. 

"Alright, I'll stop. Ooh I want that milk and ice cream thingy." Katherine said in excitement. 

"With Bourbon? You'll get a stomach ache. Bonnie laughed. 

"I am not a child little with. I can eat anything I want. But maybe I should start with bourbon first." 

"I can't believe you're this cute, it's called a milkshake grandma." 

"Thank you Bonnie, this is why we send our young to school. Us old things need to listen to them now, the world is changing fast." Katherine sighed and nodded at Bonnie. 

"You make people speechless. It's like you're bipolar or something. Talking to you is an experience on its own. " Caroline said amused. 

"You say that now, but you'll know what I mean." Her phone rings and she takes it out. Seeing the name on the screen she answered it. 

"Problem?" Katherine asked. 

"Can't I call you for a social issue like this new guy I met." Rose's thick English accent came through. 

"Are we over Damon already?" Katherine sounded amused. 

"You told me if I associated myself with them I will die and they will survive because they are lucky and will most probably use me as a shield." Rose argues. 

"I'm just glad I can be listened to when I speak. But I never said you couldn't see them." 

"Umm. Katherine, you straight up forbade me from contacting Damon, your exact words were. 'He almost got you killed and then went and forgive about you. If you go back there don't come back here.' I am pretty sure you weren't playing. " 

"That does sound like me but I was right. Even now they are having a three way love affair. Had you been here, Damon would have used you to make her jealous." 

"Was this really a social call?" 

"No, Klaus found the second faction and made a scene. He lost three of his hybrids there. But none died from our side." 

Caroline looked shocked whole Rebekah frowned. 

"It was inevitable, it's not like we were hiding. Let him try his best. Have Vic call me with a detailed report." 

"Copy that." The call is dropped just as Mike came back with bourbon and milkshake. 

"Oh Mike, you spoil me so much." Katherine went back to flirting and Mike indulged her. 

"So, Klaus managed to make hybrids? How?" Caroline asked.

"Who are you asking?" Rebekah asked narrowing her eyes. 

"Katherine, I'm asking Katherine." 

"Caroline if you were Klaus, would you tell me about your plans and secrets?" Katherine mocked. 

"I'm glad Tyler left town." Caroline said.

"True. Had he still been here I would be forced to kill him. Can you imagine how much more insufferable he would be as a hybrid?" Katherine said with disgust. 

"That is another person you dislike for seemingly no reason." Caroline joked 

"It's simple. She says he isn't good enough for you." Rebekah told Caroline who just stare at her in shock. Bonnie is also surprised. 

"You know Bonnie I asked Jeremy to dump you when I first got to the Gilbert house." Katherine switched from milkshake to bourbon. 

"You are changing the subject." Caroline saw through her. Katherine looked at Rebekah with a betrayed expression. 

"I was just telling her the truth." Rebekah defended herself. 

"Why isn't he good enough for me? You don't know him." 

"Ow, so he didn't treat Matty blue's sister like crap? He didn't beat Matt black and blue after making out with his mother? He wasn't responsible for your kidnapping?" 

"How do you know all that?" Bonnie asked a little creeped out.

"Are these things hard to find out?" Katherine asked 

"Okay I'm just going to come out and asked. Did Elena end up choosing or they ended up together like we suggested?" Rebekah had been curious for so long.

Bonnie and Caroline looked uncomfortable. 

"Talking about someone behind their back is wrong Rebekah, why don't we go visit her?" Katherine asked lightly. 

"You just want to see the drama as it unfolds." Bonnie points out. Katherine laughed. 

"I do. I really do." Katherine admits. 

"I heard my name." Matt sat next to Katherine. 

"Did he just sit next to the evil one?" Katherine asked the two girls. Matt laughed. He doesn't seem to be under a lot of pressure anymore. In fact, he seems like how young man should look. Happy and carefree. 

"Matt? You seem different." Bonnie said. 

"Yes. You seem less intense and more relaxed. As if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders." Rebekah said. Matt just smiled. 

"I sat next to you because I wanted to Express my gratitude for your help. Thank you Katherine." 

"Thank God, I was about to slap you if you said Elena. But what did I do Matty blue?" Katherine blinked in question. 

"I won't go into too much details but I am going to forgive you for your evil deeds that time. Just try not to be evil one again." Matt teases her. 

"Matt made a joke, did he make jokes before? Whatever this change is good. Keep it up Matt. Maybe you might find yourself a good bride who will give you many blue eyes small people." Katherine said. 

"You mean children?" Matt asked. 

"Yes. Those things. Go ahead and mate with some good lady who will give you those and then the line shall go on." 

"Here, here, to blue eyes and small people." Caroline clanked her glass against Bonnie's coke can. 

"Here here..." Rebekah added. 

Katherine doesn't know that what she has said had made Caroline and Rebekah sad because they would never have children.

"What did you do for him that it would yield such results?" Bonnie asked. 

"Do you see it too? He got more handsome." Rebekah asked Bonnie who nodded. 

"So, Katherine, when are you getting married." Caroline asked. 

"I'll take him to the city of angels and get a certificate." Katherine said. 

"That doesn't sound like something the noble Elijah would do?" Caroline asked.

"You just want to plan the wedding." Katherine answered in amusement at Caroline's shame after being caught.

"I was actually thinking about the bachelorette party." Caroline had just said when the a man sat opposite Matt and Katherine looking at her like he wants to set her on fire. 

"So, it was you who brought Vick back to life? I should have known you wouldn't sit still and just be peaceful. God, to think I was feeling sorry for all the things I accused you for before. This is your plan isn't it? To destroy me and my brother by slowly waving our mistakes in our faces." The table became quiet as everyone got uncomfortable. 

"What is he talking about their mistakes? Why is Vicky's return a bad thing for them?" Matt the clueless is genuinely confused. Katherine drank her milkshake slowly. She gave Stefan a bored look. 

"Matt, why don't you explain why I helped Vicky come back?" Katherine said and Matt began to explain that Vicky had been tasked by a witch on the other side to convince Matt in helping her kill Elena. She wouldn't talk while in spirit form so Katherine brought her over from the other side to be able to control her better.

"I have answered your questions, now answer mine. Why are you calling Vicky your mistake?" Matt asked Stefan who is still surprised by the explanation.

He had been listening to Matt's heart beat so he knows Matt was telling the truth. This means Katherine prevented a tragedy from occurring to Elena but kept it to herself. When she was bringing Vicky back is was because she was suspicious of her actions.

"I was the one who killed Vicky. Sorry. She had turned into a vampire and was having trouble controlling herself. She was going to kill Elena and Jeremy." 

"bah, Why don't you say the truth instead, I am right here." Vicky sat next to Stefan smiling at her brother. 

"Vicky, why didn't you tell me they are the ones that killed you? They are my friends but they have kept such a large secret from me. My own sister was killed by my own friends, but is brought back by a stranger, even that seem to make them unsatisfied." Matt became sad. 

Katherine hugged him. "Oh, Matty you remind me of a beautiful tragic princess, so pretty even when you are sad. I have 9 beautiful boys and girls all relatively nice people. Choose one and I will make it happen, will that wipe away the sadness?" Katherine ignored Stefan and joked with Matt. 

"Stop caressing my brother Katherine. You are too old for him. You are giving me the chills." Vicky shivered.

Matt laughed and left Katherine's hands. He seemed better. 

Vicky explained to Matt what had happened to her in details.

"Vicky why didn't you tell me?" 

"You are my brother but when it comes to that Elena, it is as if nothing else matters..... Even me, your sister. So I figured it doesn't matter how or why I dies as long as Elena said something to you, whatever I say wont matter." Vicky said making Matt sad again. 

Stefan wanted to leave seeing he is not welcome but Katherine stopped him with rise of her leg. She looked at him with a cold gaze. He halted in the his track. "You came here saying nonsense and now you are just going to leave without apologizing. Do I look like a push over to you?" Seeing him not saying anything she moves him to sit back down.

Stefan looked at Katherine with what seems to be anger. His days have been bad lately. Most of his beliefs are challenged especially Elena and his brother. He feels lost now and he has no patience for this bitch.

"I apologize." He gritted his teeth. 

"Yes, see to it you don't do it again. Ripper." Katherine pulled back her leg. Stefan growled but left nonetheless. Caroline wanted to follow him, but Katherine held on to her arm. She then moved her hand to her back. 

"I learnt this new technique where a human spine can be removed in one single motion. This action requires sharp claws, ruthlessness and strength. One move and the most important part about being able to stand and walk will be plucked out leaving you in a sleeping position.....forever." Katherine let go of her and looks at her in the eyes as if wanting to see her choice.

Caroline swallowed and sat down. Matt looked at everyone who just went quiet. "Umm, Vicky. Just to make sure, that was a threat right?" Vicky nodded. 

"I just wanted to make sure he is fine." Caroline said in a small voice.

"Let him walk it off. He was wrong and he acts like apologizing peeled a layer of skin." Katherine grumbles and drinks her milkshake. 

"I find it interesting why you dislike him now? Last time you were not like this." Bonnie said with curiosity.

"I had offered to leave with Jenna that time but Elena refused, saying she doesn't trust me to keep her safe. The two pets stood there glaring daggers at me. She had wanted to show me off. Now Jenna is dead." 

Bonnie kept silent hearing this. She remembers it was Damon's fault Jenna had died. She can't help but judge her friend for sleeping with Damon. What is wrong with Stefan alone? He is a good person when he isn't drinking blood. 

The girls are having a relatively relaxed time but in the Bennet house the woman who came back home under the guise of taking care of the child she had abandoned after losing her magic. 

A coffin is placed in the Centre of many objects that each represent a natural element. Together they assist in creating a connection between two places. This connection will then serve as a bridge for a spirit to walk through and make contact with the desired location. 

This particular project is being performed by Abby to help the Mikaelson witch cross over to this side but her power is not enough for the witch to stay indefinitely. Abby used her magic and Bennett magic to keep the witch alive. 

The witch had promised her to help her finish what she had started many years ago. Abby had used to much power in her attempt to put down Mikael and now this witch has told her that Mikael's children are here causing all sort of rituals and terrorizing her child too. Abby had given up her powers before to protect her home from the monsters that plague the world.
