"You have her? Splendid. Keep her as a hostage while I motivate the Salvatore brothers to unlink Ester from their friend the witch. This is indeed good new Rebekah, you did well." Klaus in a good mood goes to blackmail the Salvatore brothers.

"She had just finished telling me about it, I called Elijah the moment I heard 'Ester' so don't worry too much. I can also unlink you now that you are here with me. But we will need a human doppelganger blood." Katherine comfort Rebekah and goes back to the bathroom. She takes Elena back to the bedroom and cut her hand.

Elena wakes up from the pain. ,What are you doing Katherine? She asks panicked.

"You don't talk. I can't believe you worked together with her to kill us off. You know killing us kills off hundreds of thousands of other vampires across the world right? Do you care? Not all of them are bad people Elena. Some are really good people who have Carried humanity on their shoulders for centuries. And you are going to kill them off as callateral. Who is really evil here Elena? Huh?" Rebekah get up to her face while Katherine collect her blood into a candle stand.

"You are evil you and your family are all evil and you all deserve to die. You have live for so long drinking humans an using them for sports. Vampires are all evil just because I love Stefan and Damon doesn't change who and what they are." Elena said calmly.

"The would die too." Rebekah added with a snarl.

"At the time I was just thinking about getting rid of the plague that is Klaus Mikaelson. Katherine knows what I am talking about. He is a scordge and the world would be better without him." Elena has to be truthful and all the feelings she had for Klaus have tripled. Rebekah loves her brother so she was going to just kill Elena but Katherine stopped her.

"Don't tell me you side with her!?" Rebekah got angry.

"Don't expect me to defend Nicklaus Rebekah but I you kill the human, you lose your hostage." Rebekah came back to her senses.

"I'm ready. Sit and take off your top I have to use it on your skin. Just show me your arm I'll make do."

"Why are you helping them? Don't tell me you actually love Elijah? Katherine, you called him so many colorful name when you saw him that time." Elena ranted but is ignored. She sees the candle stand with her blood is closer and attempts to snatch it but Katherine looks at her.

"Don't move Elena. You can't move a muscle." Katherine doesn't even need to use the fo cm spirit to command her as a human she is weak. Elena stands there with her hand stretched out for the candle stand.

Katherine put her hand in the blood and started chanting and then drew symbols on Rebekah's arm. As she chanted, the symbols moved and Rebekah saw a tight knot slowly loosening and thern it became a long rope seperated from the tight knot from before. Rebekah felt it the connection she didn't even know was there leaving her.

"It's done. I can't do much for your siblings all the way here. But atleast you will survive the purge." Katherine said with dark humour.

"I wanted to say thank you but now I want to slap you in the face." Rebekah said with a fake smile.

"Don't thank me. You drove me all the way here, it's the least I can do. Elijah will also be safe. If he gets to my pendant necklace sooner than your mother can stake Finn." Katherine said to her.

It has been more than an hour since she called Elijah. Just as she wondered if Elijah had put on her gift a call came through.

"Did you find it?"

"Yes, but am still linked to my siblings. Are you sure this thing works?" Elijah said.

Perhaps the gift is glitching because she is not a witch." Klaus said with mockery.

"Elijah, My pendent only works if the magic has malicious intent. She must have casted the spell with love of her children in her heart. Which means she doesn't mean to harm but to grant you eternal peace instead. Or something along those lines if I am not wrong."

"That Randers your little wedding present useless then. So much for keeping him safe." Kol said also in ridicule.

"Elijah find a way to stop this because she will not stop. Those who do things like this and still tell themselves it is for love, they will not stop until they see it through. Love is the ultimate motivator Elijah."

"I will. How is our hostage?"

"She is fine. Can I atleast take one of her arms for her part in this?" Rebekah asked Klaus

"I'm afraid not Rebekah, I gave them my word." Elijah said and Rebekah pouted.

"I didn't make that deal little sister have your fun as long as she is alive and mostly intact." Klaus said making Kol laugh.

"Anyways Elijah this just means your mother is crazier than we thought. Rebekah is unlinked. I have to go." Katherine dropped the call.

"Rebekah I'm gonna need you to guard me for a while I'm going to check on Rose. She hasn't been tortured for a few hours now which means they are giving her time to heal." Katherine said and Elena's ears perked up.

"Who is Rose?" Rebekah asked.

"She is my sire." Katherine answered taking out her phone calling Mikel.

"Where is Rose?" Katherine asked straight away.

"When Vic was killed she went to the vampire faction to get the the look on what is going on because we couldn't talk to Vic but he is up now. He will talk you in a moment." Merkel handed the phone to Vic who cleared his throat and started speaking.

"Clan leader, it is good to finally talk to you. I wish it was under better circumstances. As the pup said I am Vic." A manly voice came out making Katherine surprised.

"Alright, tell me what happened." Although the voice is beautiful to listen to, Katherine is on a schedule.

"Shortly after the original hybrid left we started getting visitors from parties who wanted us to provide them with the cure to the werewolf bite. Apparently he had gone around telling people where to fine it. I assume it was his was of getting back at us for what happened that time."

"I see. Continue." Vic is surprised by the lack of response from the Matriarch. Is she not surprised at the information?

"Soon after a woman came in claiming to be working for a secret society of powerful and old vampires. At first she was friendly and offered me to join her organisation making all sort of proclamation about power. I refused of course and then she wasn't friendly anymore. She straight up poisoned me with some sort of mixture between werewolf bite and something else. She then had these powerful witches probe my mind and found out my connection with the wolves and you."

"I haven't met you yet so they don't have information about you and no one in the faction had met you so thy let me die with the poison to send a message to the rest of the members but they really don't know how to find you."

"Alright, rest for now. I am headed there for clean up."

"Clan leader i understand you are powerful but with all due respect I don't think you can take them on. The woman I spoke with is 800 years old. I suggest you cut your losses here." Vic said with a suggestive tone.

"Thank you for your council Victor." Katherine dropped the phone.

She sat cross legged and connected with Rose. She could feel her subconscious entering another body. She looked around and saw she is bound to a chair with vervain ropes. Rose he been injecting concentrated vervain in he blood stream to build up tollarence against it. In fact, all the vampires in the faction do but Rose didn't tell them this which is why Katherine is able to free herself.

However, there is a magic circle that is keeping her inside it. She will not use her own blood for the traveler spell so she would need the blood of whomever made the barrier. She watched a the open wounds closed as a visible speed.

Looking around she saw the bodies of other vampires from the faction. They are not dead but they are in pain nonetheless. She can't move things with her mind while inside the barrier so she can't help them or herself. She will have to wait for whomever is responsible for her torture to come back. Katherine exit Rose's body going back to her own.

"We need to go first thing in the morning. I am going to sleep. Try not to kill Elena while I sleep." Katherine said but Rebekah is staring at Elena with killing intent.

"You can move now. Elena." Elena sighed at that and put down her hand that has been stretched out. She goes and sit down Rebekah not taking her eyes off her eyes from Elena's form.

"Katherine I was wondering, why are you not going back to save your future husband. I mean this woman means to kill him and by your reaction she is very powerful. So why are you headed in the opposite direction to Mystic falls?" Elena asked. She hadn't thought things through before but now that she had come down. She realised that she made a mistake and wants Katherine to fix it for her.

"My people need me. Elijah is not some weakling I have to protect. He has his family to fight alongside him. If I had to choose between him and them? I would choose them without a second thought. They are my family, just like how he wouldn't choose me over his own family." Katherine answered making Rebekah frown.

"How do you feel about that Rebekah? She claims to care for him but will abandone him for her clan members at any given moment." Elena said wanting to saw discord and get Rebekah on her side but Rebekah just smacked her face hard enough to render he silent.

"You know, you can just take Elena back and help your family." Katherine said. Rebekah looked at her with a sneer.

"Feeling guilty?"

"I didn't say anything false. I did not choose a weak man as my partner. My people on the other hand need me" Katherine went to sleep to replenish her soul power. Rebekah clenched her fists wishing she could drag Katherine home to help her family. But she at least is doing one thing to help. She turned to Elena who is smirking even with a swollen chick.

In the morning Katherine found Rebekah still around so she asked he to drive while she distracted the person torturing Rose. She closed her eyes and connected to Rose's body.

She looked around and found a man looking down at her. "I am going to ask you again, where is your leader?" She has his hand around her throat, exerting strength enough to crush it at any given moment. Katherine raise her head and looked into the eyes of this man. He is handsome but an imperceptible glint in his eyes promises to be a dark hearted individual.

Katherine tried to use her mind arts while inside Rose's body but it doesn't work. It seems she is not strong enough for this particular benefit of the slave master connection. She can still exert enough strength to speak even as her throat is on the verge of being crushed.

"I am right here. Why don't you tell what is it that you want from me?" Katherine says startling the man. The change in the voice, added with the entire aura that Rose exudes. He is sure this is definitely someone else he is talking to now.

"You are?" He asks letting go of her throat.

"I am the clan leader you have been yapping about. Now why don't you tell me why are you inside my territory and killing my people?" She said her anger apparent.

The man smirked at her. "If you really are who you say you are then I must call someone who has the authority to speak with you. You see, I am just a servant." He disappeared from where he stood. Katherine looked at the circle that must have been disrupted for the torture. She gets up to come out of the barrier and checked up on the vampires laying down all over the floor.

She clenched her teeth in outrage. They are under some sort of poison. Every single one of the hundreds of vampires are going through excruciating pain. She goes back and sits on the chair. Waiting.

"I was half expecting you to bolt upon realising the circle is broken." A woman come in wearing a beautiful but sexy outfit made of leather. Katherine looked at her and realised she is in charge here.

"You seem angry. We only asked a simple question but none of them would answer. We have checked and they don't know who or where you are but they still insisted on following you over us. Such a peculiar thing, to have loyalty of every single one of your men. Even the witches can not find anything that is making them eternally loyal to you. Care to share?"

"Is that why you had them injest some sort of poison? So it is join me or die?" Katherine calmly asked.

"I am surprised you aren't feeling the effect, she injested a lot more than any of them. Then again, she is very powerful compared to them. Another thing they won't share with us. It's as though that particular information is missing from their brains. You must be a very powerful witch to be able to pull off something like that." The woman said looking straight at her.

"That it? You want to know all my secrets? Don't worry then I am on my way here and will love to give you a chance to pry all of them from me. But what else do you want?"

"For you to give us the spell you used for all your vampires to survive the death of one of their sire. You will find that the one who died was one of many who will be facing the same situation if you don't make it here in time."

"I see, anything else?"

"Not that I can think of but do hurry up. I'd hate for these poor souls to continue suffering like this." She said going out. Katherine knashed her teeth in anger but still didn't attack the mysterious woman. She opened her eyes back in the car.
