The kings Avater

The morning sun peeked through the blinds of Ye Qiu's cluttered apartment, casting a warm glow on the piles of discarded ramen containers and snacks strewn across the floor.

Ye Qiu groggily rubbed his eyes, the remnants of sleep still hanging around him. His apartment was its usual chaos, a direct reflection of his laid-back lifestyle—untidy, unkempt, but in a way that somehow felt comforting to him. He stretched, hearing the satisfying crack of his spine, before stumbling towards the kitchen. A quick glance at the kitchen and he was already done as the kitchen was stuffed with so many litters.

"Guess I'll clean up later," he muttered to himself.

With that decided, he turned back to his computer desk. As much as he needed to tidy up his space, Ye Qiu was in no mood for it today. The pull of his personal game was far stronger. Sitting down, he opened the game, the familiar interface lighting up in front of him. The world of this particular game was far different from Avatar Epic Quest, but it still had that same pull. The quiet comfort of his usual routine was a welcome relief.

However, just as he was about to dive deep into the game, his computer made a buzz sound. A quick glance showed a notification from the Dragon Team chat. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Oh yeah, the meeting. That was today."

He quickly cursed under his breath. He had forgotten about the meeting. As always, his short-term memory and tendency to get lost in his own world had betrayed him. The message from the team read: "Let's get the meeting going, guys. Don't leave me hanging, Everyone log into the game."

Ye Qiu glanced up at the sticky note stuck to the wall above his desk, where he had scrawled a reminder. His handwriting, as usual, was barely readable, but he could make out the words. "Dragon Team meeting 10:00 AM." and It was already 10:30. He groaned, rubbing his temples.

He logged out of the initial game he was playing and then logged into Avater Epic quest game, the private one which would not be live streamed__ they was where the team normally communicate privately as they didnt have each others phone number or email.

"finally Everstay!" gray worm exclaimed as ye Qiu Avater __Everstay appeared in the game.

"typical" said omega "i told you he would forget" he added

"i didnt forget okey?" yes Qiu replied defensively as he laid back in his chair "i was busy"

"busy with what?" somi asked

"real life stuff" grayworm joked as they laughed while yes Qiu rolled his eyes "Ha, ha, very funny," Ye Qiu retorted, though a small smile tugged at his lips. "Anyway, I'm here now. What's the plan? Are you guys ready for the up coming match tomorrow? " he asked as used his sword and slice through a hexar coming his way. He continued "remember this time we are facing two level 9 troll and the king spider..."

"the level 6 king spider?" sparrow asked

"what are you scared already?" grayworm teased

"if i could Recall properly, that 'level 6' spider, did gave us a really hard time the last time" sparrow explained emphasizing the word 'level 6', as a level 6 spider was not suppose to be a problem to pro like them but it was a really tough one.

"So whats our mission this time?" omega asked, his voice Barely clear as it seems he was munching something.

"thats the problem guys, i have not recieve any mission from the guild yet," Ye Qiu explained "it seems they are planning to give us the mission at the last minute." he added.

As the team leaders Everstay is the only one that recives the mission from the guild, as hes then expected to explain the mission to his team.

"I guess they are really trying to make this time hard for us, but unfortunately for them, we are not called professionals for nothing," he smiled as well as his team mates Who seemed to be having a bad feeling already already

" He's right guys, At least we already know the setting of the match, a cave. So all we just have to go is strategise using the little information we know" said ye Qiu as every one nodded

"So any idea for this one? Omega?" somi asked

Omega, ever the strategist, began to outline the plan. As usual, Ye Qiu zoned in, letting his mind focus on the upcoming battle. The communication continued as the team discussed tactics, as Ye Qiu felt the familiar rush of excitement that always came before a game.

Despite his sometimes lazy demeanor, when it came to the game, he was all business.

"Alright, guys, be ready. Let's be sure to make another win for the Dragon Team," he said, a grin tugging at his lips.

"Sure lets make our fans proud." somi added with a smile as they all agreed

"And guy's, don't forget to clean your place before you play futher," grayworm teased, "cuz i can tell non of ya'll have done that in ages, i can smell it all the way from my house."

"Im sure you can, cuz ofcourse your room must be way untidy beyond imagination, well, too bad for you cuz mine is as clean as yours would ever imagine to be__ so i cant relate." somi teased as sparrow said "ouch" while the team laughed.

Their chat ended with a round of chuckles, and Ye Qiu finally got up from his chair, stretching. He glanced at the mess around him and sighed. Maybe just a quick sweep…

With that thought, he lazily began to pick up a few of the containers from the floor. But his attention was soon caught by his phone again, an email, He unlocked it, seeing a message from Somi: "By the way, Ye Qiu, your fan club's blowing up again."

Somi was the only one in the team that had ye Qiu's personal email, which up till now ye Qiu still can't tell how she got it as he had never shared his personal information to any one.

Ye Qiu raised an eyebrow, intrigued. He tapped the message open, scanning through the comments from fans, their usual mix of admiration and curiosity about the enigmatic Dragon Team members. The overwhelming majority were still obsessed with Everstay, speculating about who he was and what he might look like. His anonymity only fueled their fascination, and Ye Qiu couldn't help but chuckle at the ridiculousness of it all.
