Chapter 6: THE BATTLE BEGIN
The next day__D day.
The entire country of China was buzzing with excitement and anticipation for the Dragon team's match. It felt as though the world had come to a standstill as people prepared to witness one of the most awaited gaming events of the year. Streets that were usually bustling was now quiet, as many shops and businesses had closed earlier than usual to ensure they wouldn't miss the match, some closed earlier as they were not getting any customer.

Those who couldn't afford tickets to watch the match live at the stadium gathered in their homes, preparing their devices and creating a lively atmosphere with friends, family, and neighbors. Watching the match with others was considered more thrilling, as everyone could cheer and gasp together.

For those lucky enough to watch in the stadium, the venue itself was alive with music, lights, and giant screens displaying the players' avatars. Vendors selling snacks and merchandise moved through the stands, their voices almost drowned out by the chants of "Dragon! Dragon!" echoing from every corner.
Even though the game hadn't started yet, it already felt like a festival, a celebration of gaming culture at its peak. And while everyone eagerly waited for the match to begin, one thing was certain: today, all eyes were on the Dragon team.
As the clock approached 4:00, the air in the stadium buzzed with excitement. The crowd's energy was palpable, a sea of cheers and waving flags. The commentator's voice boomed through the speakers, drawing the attention of everyone present and those glued to their screens at home.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the moment we've all been waiting for is finally here!" the commentator exclaimed, his voice tinged with the same thrill as the crowd. "The Dragon Team is about to face their toughest challenge yet! Today's match promises to be nothing short of legendary. We're talking about two Level 9 Trolls and the infamous Level 6 King Spider—the same King Spider that almost cost the Dragons their victory last time."
The crowd roared, their excitement blending with nervous anticipation.
"This is going to be a true test of their teamwork, strategy, and resilience," the commentator continued. "Will they overcome this monstrous trio?"
The cheers in the stadium grew deafening. Fans in homes and shops clapped and shouted along with the audience. Some even waved homemade banners declaring their love for the team or specific members.
The commentator went on, hyping up the moment. "And let's not forget the fan-favorite Everstay. Known for his calm under pressure and brilliant leadership, will he carry his team to yet another victory? And Somi! The ever-resourceful one, Who is always a step ahead of her enemies. And what about the others? Each Dragon has their own strength, their own magic to bring to the table. Who do you think will shine brightest today?"
As he continued, the massive countdown clock on the screen ticked closer to zero. "Now, folks, this isn't just a match, this is history in the making."
The commentator's voice slowed dramatically as he started counting down. "Its about to begin in, Three!... two!... one!"
The crowd joined in, their voices reverberating through the arena and beyond. "Three!... two!... one!"
The screen switched, and there they were—the Dragon Team, standing in a circular huddle inside the game's digital world. Cheers erupted once more.
Inside the game, Everstay was already in his element. His voice was clear and steady as he addressed his team. "Alright, Dragons. Let's make this clean and efficient. Inventory check first."
The team responded quickly.
"How many grenades does everyone have left?" Everstay asked.
"None here," muttered sparrow.
"Same," added omega, who specialized in sword fighting just like Everstay.
"I've still got two," Somi chimed in. Her voice, soft yet firm, carried the confidence of someone who knew exactly how to use them.
"Got non" said grayworm.
"alright," Everstay said. "We'll need those. I've got a stash from the last battle—five grenades total." He began distributing them. "Somi, keep yours. Sparrow, omega, and grayworm, take one each. That leaves me with two, Got it?"
"Got it," they chorused.
"What about health packs?" Everstay asked
"Just one left," omega said.
"Same here," Somi replied.
"Same here too" said Sparrow
"I'm fresh out," grayworm admitted.
Everstay nodded. "Alright, I've got three on me. I'll hold onto them for emergencies. Remember, call out if you're in trouble. No lone wolves today."
Grayworm smirked. "sure thing."
As they finished their preparations, Everstay took a deep breath. "Alright, Dragons. Time to show them why we're the best. You all know what comes next."
The team straightened, and Everstay began their signature chant, his voice cutting through the tension.
"We are fire!"
The others followed, their voices loud and synchronized.
"We are flame!"
Everstay raised his weapon in-game, his avatar glowing with energy. "Together, we rise!"
"And never fall!" the team roared in unison.
The chant echoed in the stadium as the fans joined in, their voices shaking the air. The commentator's voice came back on, his excitement peaking.
"There you have it, folks! The Dragons' iconic chant, always a crowd favorite. If that doesn't give you chills, I don't know what will. Let the match begin!"
The screen shifted to the battleground, showing the massive arena where the fight would take place. The monsters were already visible in the distance, their hulking forms casting ominous shadows.
And so, the battle began.
