Chapter 36: 36. New weapons.
Chapter 36
Noon the next day.
Suddenly in my dream I felt something poking me in the side, automatically throwing it away with my hand I immediately jumped up realizing that it could have been Walter. Looking around, I saw Walter standing at a distance, and at his feet there was a broken metal tube.
- It's a good thing I got this pipe ready. It would be bad if I were in her place. - Walter chuckled.
"That's a great idea, Walter," I said, smiling and giving him a thumbs up.
- Okay, here are your clothes for today, when you're ready, head straight to Sir Integra. - Walter handed me the clothes before leaving.
Unlike my usual uniform with an extremely short skirt, this time I was given a rather formal black pantsuit, which was complemented by black glasses and an elegant hat. To be honest, this image looked quite interesting in the mirror.
After admiring myself for a bit, I headed to Integra's office, knocked on the door and waited for Integra's permission before going inside.
- Seras, it's nice to see you so early. - Integra smiled, watching me hold back a yawn.
- Yes sir.
- So, first of all, I need you to bring some tea.
- AND?
- And then we'll just spend time together until the knights arrive for the meeting.
- And that's it?
- Yes.
"Okay," I answered uncertainly, not knowing whether to be happy that I would be spending the rest of the evening alone with Integra or angry that I had been woken up so early.

At 5:30, Integra and I began preparing for the arrival of the old people.
- Now remember, Seras, these people are old boring fossils who follow old doctrines. That means that as a servant, you are not allowed to speak unless spoken to and you must do everything to perfection. Is that understood?
- Don't worry Inti, I can handle it. - I said with a smile.
- Seras! No Inti except when we are alone, okay?! - Integra immediately got angry.
"Sorry, nya," I said guiltily, lowering my ears.
- Seras, I like you, but in my situation, I can't let rumors appear. - The girl said with a sigh.
- I understand.
- Okay, put on your glasses and hat and we'll meet them on the street, there's no point in giving them a reason to find fault with hat etiquette.
While talking, we went out into the courtyard of the mansion, ready to meet the other knights before the conference began. At exactly 6 o'clock, the old men finally arrived.
- Welcome everyone, did you arrive here safely? - Integra greeted.
- Yes, Sir Integra. How is your hunt going?
- Everything is going smoothly, Sir Hugh.
- Really? That's weird. Because it seems like a disaster to me. - The old man replied sharply before following Walter into the mansion.
As he was passing by, he noticed me and stopped abruptly.
"Who is this lovely young lady?" asked the old man, taking off his hat in a gentlemanly manner.
- She is my new assistant, her name is Seras Victoria.
- Hello, Miss Victoria. Would you like to come work for me? Working here must be scary for you, that crazy vampire gets out of control too often. - Hugh said with a warm smile, like a grandfather talking to his granddaughter.
- That's a tempting offer, sir. But I've already sworn to serve Sir Integra for the rest of my life. - I replied with a soft smile, although in reality I wanted to rip the bastard's head off.
"He called the master a crazy vampire? Yes, he may have gone a little crazy, but he is still my master! God, if only I could..." - after a short imagination of the dismemberment of this abomination, I was able to calm down.
- Too bad. If you ever change your mind, feel free to call. - He said, handing over his business card.
After a couple of minutes, we finally got all the participants into the conference room and Walter closed the doors in front of me.
- Well, Seras, do you want to see your new weapon?
"Is she with you now?" I asked joyfully.
- Yes, - Walter answered and, leading me to a table nearby, he took out a briefcase with a combination lock that he had prepared in advance. He quickly opened it and took out a gun. Seeing the weapon in full, I was amazed.
"How beautiful, it's like an angel's gun."
The gun looked like a slightly smaller version of Alucard's gun, completely white in color. Both sides of the barrel had angel wings engraved on them, and the words "Heaven's Punishment" were written in blue cursive just above the wings.
He placed the gun on the table and pulled out another one. It was dark red and had bat-like wings and the words "Gift from Hell" written in black.
- The Angel is a combat pistol that fires 11mm rounds and weighs 12 kg. It is 30 cm long and the magazine holds 17 bullets plus one in the chamber. The Devil is the same in its characteristics, except for a small addition that I am sure you will like. - Walter said with a mysterious smile at the end.
- They are beautiful, Walter. Thank you! - I hugged the old man.
"I'm glad, now I have to meet Alucard in the basement. I'm counting on you to protect Integra." Walter said before grabbing another suitcase and leaving.
- This must be the master's new weapon, Jackal. I'm so glad I didn't get that canon gun. - I said out loud, happily looking at my personal weapon.
