The tea was delicious, with a flavor similar to green tea. Nero didn’t dare ask the price.
Queen Anneliise was trying to feed Mii-chan some cookies, but Mii-chan clearly wasn’t interested.

So, Nero brought out some sweet red bean paste for Mii-chan and placed it on her plate.

Nero mentioned that it’s also great spread on toasted bread. It seemed like Nia was interested in Perro’s kuzumochi, so he offered some of that as well.
“Are you a confectionery chef, Nero-kun?”

Nero felt like he was in a completely different world. The anxiety was starting to build up again.
“May I keep Nero and Lord Zest a while longer?”
“I have finished my discussion with Lord Zest, so as you wish.”
With a bow, the Chancellor withdrew.
“It seems things are quite serious.”
The Guild Master glanced at Nero before continuing.
“A great war may be imminent.”
“Is it really that dire?”
The Queen spoke while affectionately petting Mii-chan.
As I watched Queen Anneliese and Guild Master Zest talk, Nia approached me.
“Lord Nero, may I ask a favor?”

“I would like to learn how to make the sweet paste and the confectionery you mentioned earlier.”
You mean the anko and kuzumochi? I don’t mind, but I don’t have the ingredients on hand right now. I gave everything to Sykes in Quinto.

With various tasks ahead, I planned to return to the inn, have lunch, and then hold a strategy meeting.
