The Strongest Brain in the Interstellar

Chapter 62 - Arrival

Later, Carlo joined a private group and discovered the shocking news hidden behind the incident. A few rebels were indeed not worth such a big fuss, but these rebels somehow managed to steal a segment of classified information from the Empire’s central control system that manages the entire star system.

Although they had no idea what that information was, the scale of the situation indicated it was serious.

While the Third Legion did capture some individuals yesterday, the key to the encrypted data had gone missing.

The military was also clueless about when this data had been transferred and to where. During their escort, those rebels had all mysteriously died—even with all the precautions the Third Legion had taken.

In short, while the situation seemed to have settled on the surface, the underlying risks had grown larger. Consequently, life on Planet 732 and throughout the entire settled star system wouldn’t be too stable.

This was why his military friend advised him to temporarily relocate to the capital—likely knowing that their profession was sensitive and could easily lead to trouble.

However, Carlo was unwilling to leave the settled star system. He had returned from the capital to his home system with a sense of determination, enduring years of teaching at Wanhua Middle School.

He never expected to encounter such events upon his return. What had driven him back in the first place?

Carlo began to doubt his choices, feeling uncertain about his next steps.

It seemed he could no longer stay at Wanhua Middle School, and returning to the capital was not an option—at least not in such a disgraced manner. So, what path should he take next?

With a long sigh, Carlo felt a throbbing headache.

The holographic call came in, but he didn’t even glance at it and simply declined the call.

After finishing her meal, Jiang Hui started her day of studying.

Eventually, she couldn’t resist the temptation and purchased several popular miniature mech models online. She also ended up buying a few introductory guides on mechs.

Honestly, she wasn’t quite sure what she was doing. As a liberal student… sigh, she really didn’t understand why she had developed an interest in this. But it seemed that everyone inevitably falls for the “true fragrance” principle.

Jiang Hui vowed that she only wanted to play with mech toys because they were genuinely fascinating. She could assemble a few more to take into her mental space, which would be a perfect way to pass the time…

She was trying hard to convince herself that spending tens of thousands of interstellar coins on these models was a reasonable decision.

The shipping service in the interstellar realm was quite efficient. Aside from some special items that required adjustment, most regular goods could be delivered within an hour.

The miniature mech models she purchased were categorized as light luxury, educational products. Many young children pursuing careers in this field bought them as teaching aids, while some adults without psychic abilities bought them as decorative items.

These products were quite popular, leading to numerous specialty stores on the planet that could deliver directly.

Within less than an hour, her items arrived at the bottom of her apartment.

When Jiang Hui received the notification from the apartment’s smart robot, she selected the option to have the delivery robot bring it upstairs.

As a result, when the delivery robot knocked on her door, Jiang Hui opened it to find a package nearly one and a half times her height pushed up to her doorstep.

Uh… did she buy this much? Jiang Hui had chosen the sizes carefully; while some were large, the combined size of those models couldn’t possibly be even a tenth of this package. Was there some sort of mistake?

The delivery was handled by a smart robot, which couldn’t read her expression. It mechanically asked Jiang Hui if it should unload the item now.

Seeing it about to unload the large package from the cart, Jiang Hui quickly stopped it and inquired what the delivery contained.

Upon hearing the response, she finally relaxed.

Oh, it turned out the smart system had arrived; no wonder the models seemed so large.

Sure enough, shortly after, two more delivery robots arrived, one large and one small. One was likely the holographic pod, while the other was dragging several small boxes—those were the miniature mech models she had ordered earlier.

Now Jiang Hui understood why there was such a large open space in front of the apartment; each unit had it, enclosed with the residence. However, this area was not meant for residents to store any clutter or make modifications.

So this was for public service use.

Watching the delivery robots efficiently unload the cargo and buzz away, Jiang Hui felt a mix of emotions.

Now, how was she supposed to unpack all this? And would she have to install everything herself?

Looking at her obviously slender arms and then at the packaging that was several heads taller than her, she finally called the company’s customer service.

After receiving assurance that someone would come up to help her install the items later, Jiang Hui felt relieved and carried the few small pieces she could handle back to the living room.

As for the two larger items, she decided to wait for the staff to come before dealing with them.

Indeed, whether on Blue Star or in the interstellar realm, unpacking deliveries was an incredibly joyful experience.

Looking at the brightly colored, high-quality model packaging boxes, Jiang Hui could hardly control her hands, eager to unpack each one and start assembling them immediately.

Just then, another holographic call came in; it was the installation team for the smart system and holographic pod.

So quick?!

The reception robot at the apartment had already verified their identities and asked Jiang Hui if she would allow them to enter her home.

Although she was reluctant to let strangers into her living space—especially since she hadn’t fully grasped the intricacies of this star system—she realized that while the holographic pod could be operated manually, the smart system could not.

If she didn’t allow them in today, the installation would likely fail, making her purchase a waste.

Jiang Hui had no choice but to contact the company again and verify the identities of the two staff members. Only then did she inform the reception robot to grant them access.

Fortunately, the entire installation process went smoothly. In less than two hours, Jiang Hui had a new smart system and a holographic pod.

A new day was about to begin.
