The Village Disciples

"Are you Kaminari Nozomu?"

Nozomu, Ms. Manabu, and Tanjo can be seen standing outside Buraunmajikku Academy. Conversating as students passed by them from leaving the school.

"Excuse me?" Questions Nozomu, confused as to how A stranger could know his name.

"Kaminari Nozomu, is that not your name?" Responds Ms. Manabu,

"It is, but may I ask how you knew that?" Requested Nozomu, still filled with confusion.

Ms. Manabu only smiles and passes Nozomu a card, making Tanjo as clueless as ever. Once Ms. Manabu handed over the card, she wished both Tanjo and Nozomu a 'good day' and walked away, still sipping away at her coffee.

Currently, Tanjo and Nozomu are walking home, Tanjo randomly inquires "So, what did that note say?"

"It's nothing important to you." Nozomu quickly stops Tanjo questioning, almost 'too' quickly.

"Also, you said that you had something to talk to me about earlier? Hence the whole reason why you were even at my school."

"Oh, right-" Nozomu responds, before taking roughly 5 seconds to continue his sentence, "-Does the name Furusato ring any bells?"

"Hmmm, uh, nope. Doesn't really sound all that familiar, why?" Tanjo curiously and confusingly questions, but also answers Nozomu's question.

"Just wondering, that's all."

WITH MS. MANABU

Ms. Manabu can be seen walking into an office, apparently re-entering the school. As she walks through the door that leads to the principal's office, she sits down at her desk and turns on the computer, and goes to 'student files', then begins searching for a certain jet-black haired student with the last name of 'Nozomu'.

THE NEXT DAY

Naderamu can be seen walking to school, taking a different path. Due to a store having new and cheaper sales, 'damn mob, that's what Black Friday's for!' Naderamu angrily yelled in her head. As she was walking down a path, one of the houses on the side of the path's front door opened. Presenting a half-asleep Tanjo,

"damn old man waking me up with an air horn." Tanjo groggily and irritatingly complained before noticing a certain blonde-haired girl staring at him with a weird look.

"What about an air horn?" Naderamu questioned,

"Huh, oh. Nothing, just an annoying old man. Why are you taking this route, never seen you use it before?" Tanjo queries, trying to recall any moment of seeing her taking his home path to school.

"A store a few blocks down is selling items at cheaper prices and a massive line is taking up a few paths," Naderamu says, answering Tanjo's question,

"That sounds more like Black Friday," Tanjo remarked

"THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT!"

10 MINUTES LATER

Once Tanjo and Naderamu make it to school, they spot Akogare walking through the school's entrance, Tanjo then began to call out to him. "Akogare, wait up!"

Akogare then began to turn around and seen Tanjo waving his hand in the air, alongside Naderamu.

"HEY, GUYS! Wait, I didn't know you guys took the same path to school?" Akogare confusingly pondered,

"We don't, but my usual path to school was packed with people. So I found a different route and found him along with it." Naderamu clarified, nudging Tanjo mid-sentence.

"Ah, makes sense. We should probably get to class now, MEET YOU THERE!" Akogare responded, then hollering through the school entrance on his way to class.

When the three made it to class, the other students were already sitting down, and Mr. Oshieru was sleeping at his desk in the front of the class, making all of the students wonder if he regularly sleeps before class.

*RING*

*RING*

*RING*

The moment the school bell rang, Mr. Oshieru jolts up immediately and scanned the class. "Looks like everyone is here, now let's move onto what we're doing today!"

"How does he have so much energy now?" Meisei whispered to Utsukushi,

"No clue," Utsukushi responded,

"We are going to be taking a class trip, we are going to be heading to a forest nearby. There we will learn how to be aware of our surroundings!" Mr. Oshieru announced.

"Like, preventing people sneaking up on you?" asked Sukudo with a hand raised,

"Exactly!" Mr. Oshieru answered.

AT THE NOZOMU'S RESIDENCE

Mr. Nozomu can be seen sitting on a chair reading a newspaper, reporting about recent events like 'new store prices', 'warriors debuted, and 'nearby villages raided by members of Furusato'

as Mr. Nozomu was reading, A knock could be heard at the door.

*KNOCK*

*KNOCK*

*KNOCK*

Nozomu stood up and headed to the door, once he opened it. He was met with the familiar face of Tanjo's school principal, Ms. Manabu. She stood at the entrance with a bright smile on her face, making Nozomu seriously confused as to why this woman was at his house.

Once Ms. Manabu noticed the door open, she did a simple and polite greeting.

"Hello, I'm wondering if you're currently free?"

Chapter 12 is done, and we're finally shining more light on the school's principal. Along with showing what Tanjo and his classmates will be learning in the next chapter!
