The Vixen's Gambit: Tonight We Hunt

Chapter 30: One Inch Punch Opens the Heavens

"Hah!"

Bang!

Lihua weaved through the crowd, each punch sending a guard flying. Even when surrounded by enemies and holding the girl in one arm, she was still unmatched.

For a moment, she looked like a god of war, invincible.

Lihua looks cool-- No, now's not the time to think about that!

Kallen, watching Lihua fight like a one-woman army, shook her head and tried to push away her stray thoughts.

She now wanted to know where Lihua had learned her fighting techniques. Although some parts of it were similar to the Kaslana fighting style, overall, it was very different.

And when did Lihua become so strong? Her reactions and actions were incredibly fast. These guards had undergone rigorous training, yet they couldn't even touch the hem of her clothes...

Seeing Lihua beat up the guards, Kallen remained calm. Viktor was getting anxious—if things kept going this way, Lihua would be able to break out.

"Lady Kallen, please allow the soldiers to use weapons. Otherwise--"

"No!"

Kallen rejected Viktor's suggestion without hesitation. "What if they hurt Lihua if they used weapons!"

If we don't use weapons, she's going to reach us soon!

Forcing himself to remain calm, Viktor decided to use his brain to deal with the situation. "If that's the case, Lady Kallen, why not intervene yourself?"

"What nonsense are you saying? How could I hurt Lihua?"

Seeing that Kallen was angry, Viktor said unhurriedly, "Lady Kallen, I know that Miss Lihua is very important to you, but that's exactly why you should quickly stop her."

"Lihua's actions haven't been noticed yet, and we can still suppress it. But if she goes out and tells the people about this, or if she steals that black box, things will get out of control."

"By that time, not only will the Archbishop not let her off, but all of Schicksal will come after her. Though you and Lord Otto are strong, it's still hard to fight against all of Schicksal..."

Seeing the hesitation on Kallen's face, Viktor pushed harder. "If you capture Lihua now, no one else will know about this. The Archbishop won't trouble her."

"You can take her home and slowly persuade her. She'll eventually understand that you were doing it for her own good."

You care about her, right? You don't want to hurt her, right?

Then you should stop her now, before things get worse. If it gets out of control, the Archbishop will use it as an excuse to attack her. Even Otto might not be able to protect her!

Viktor finally convinced Kallen.

"This is not to leave this area!"

"Hahaha, don't worry."

Viktor smiled as he watched Kallen rush towards Lihua.

Don't worry, I'm going to tell the Archbishop anyway.

Lihua was having fun beating up the guards when she suddenly felt danger. Instinctively, she leaned back and dodged a hand that was trying to grab her.

"Kallen, are you going to stop me too?"

Lihua looked at Kallen, who was now standing in front of her, and became more wary.

Even though she had used almost all her savings to exchange for this power, she wasn't foolish enough to think that she was invincible against all of Schicksal.

The Kaslana family was born with immense strength, and Kallen was the best of them all. She had spent decades honing her fighting skills.

Even if Lihua had exchanged for Advanced Martial Arts, which gave her nearly conditional reflex like fighting abilities, and could now take on ten people at once, Kallen could probably beat a hundred.

Not to mention, Kallen also had the Oath of Judah, a Divine Key.

"Lihua, stop doing this!"

"Who's the one making a scene, Kallen…?"

Seeing that Lihua was determined, Kallen had no choice but to go on the offense.

Kallen truly was the strongest Valkyrie. Lihua had a difficult time even just making a few moves against her.

Unlike the guards who were being sent flying, Lihua couldn't even push back Kallen. Instead, her arm was throbbing from the impact.

Even with the Advanced Martial Arts, Lihua's body could only barely deflect Kallen's attacks.

And that was with Kallen trying to avoid hurting her.

This is too much! Is Kallen really this strong?

Having dodged Kallen's attempt to pin her down again, Lihua was starting to get anxious. If things continued at this pace, then she wouldn't be able to escape once the other members of Schicksal arrived!

And Kallen was even more anxious than Lihua. She had intervened in order to stop the situation from escalating. But Lihua's strength was greater than she had imagined. She wouldn't be able to capture her without hurting her.

I'm sorry, Lihua. But this is for your own good...

On the other side, Lihua had also made a decision.

She knew she would probably hurt Kallen, but since she was so strong, it shouldn't be too dangerous.

She had already spent 100,000 energy points on Brute Strength. Rapid Recovery, Advanced Martial Arts, and other items that added up to most of her savings.

Now, she would spend all of her remaining energy to gain the power to change the current situation.

She had to win in a single blow since she still had a girl in her arms.

Lihua took a deep breath. She looked at the item in the cart whose price was way above the rest and made her final decision.

Kallen was in front of the exit. If she could defeat her, she could escape.

Looking at Lihua with a serious expression, Kallen prepared herself.

At the next moment, they both acted.

"Judah!"

Kallen shouted and golden chains came out of the cross, wrapping around Lihua. The chains formed an inescapable net that descended upon Lihua.

Even without the intention to hurt her, Judah, Schicksal's strongest Divine Key, was more than enough to restrain Lihua.

But in the face of this attack, Lihua had no intention of dodging. Instead, she charged toward Kallen even faster.

When the chains were about to completely restrain her, Lihua finally moved.

She clenched her fist and delivered a simple, unembellished punch.

"One Inch Punch—Heaven Breaker!!!"
