Top Assassins Call Me The Lady Boss

Chapter 46: “Gather the men.”

Chapter Forty-Six

Asli got home, already planning how she was going to boycott their plans. But before she could park her car, Markus stood at the car park with his hands in his pocket. He looked as playful as always.

How was he so different from Ahmet? She asked herself but quickly got reminded again of the games Ahmet could play with her. If the men were right, then it meant it was… no, she couldn't believe that.

She hated him alright but she couldn't believe that he spiked her drink. She had begged him, yet he didn't do anything. If he had spiked her drink, wouldn't he have done more to her than what he did?

"What?" She asked as she walked past him after parking her car.

Markus replied playfully. "We have a mission and you are already late. I was told you were time conscious among other things…" Arh, she forgot she was to go on a mission with this man.

"Brief me on the outline." She requested, though dismissively.

"No, no, no. I don't work for you. You want the outline, you get it yourself." This was the only time she had heard him with a serious tone. She wasn't even in the mood for chit-chat.

She tried to recall what this mission was about. Was it about something from the black market or someone? Was it to destroy or to make sure it was not destroyed?

She nearly let out a sigh but suppressed it. She had been so preoccupied, that she forgot to listen when they were giving them the details. This wasn't like her.

"Well, I can not make you suffer, can I? My dear future wife. We are to clean up the West black market. Your dearest father wants the hall." Markus told her with a sly smile.

She knew what that meant. Clearing something up meant doing everything possible to make the place empty, including the people. She was sure the innocent children, and women kidnapped to be sold were there too.

Every time she was sent for such missions, she made sure she did it alone, with her unregistered men.

Now that Markus was working with her father, if she were to save them, he would certainly tell her adoptive father.

'Damn it!' she swore as she remembered she had planned to kill Ahmet that evening as well.

"How about this? I tell Ahmet you are here," she suddenly spoke and hoped he'd be shaken by her attempt to tell his cousin of his betrayal.

"Really? Go ahead. He won't believe you." He dared and she wasn't surprised about that. Everyone knew how Ahmet trusted him. Oh, the joy she would feel when finally sees the look on his face about Markus' betrayal.

However, if Ahmet wasn't going to believe her, she needed proof. She had no proof. Yet, she needed Markus off this mission.

Guess it was time she introduced the person most of them called, the Midnight Reaper again. She only operated when she needed her to and tonight, she needed her.

But there was another problem; if Midnight Reaper was going to appear, it would mean Asli would be inefficient that night. She was supposed to fight anyone who would distract her mission.

If Midnight Reaper was one, she was supposed to make sure she won. So if it was the other way around, her adoptive father wasn't going to let her breathe.

Was that even her problem? Or was it because the Midnight Reaper was her?

She would have to come up with something. Before Midnight Reaper could operate, Asli had to be absent. She had to delay this mission. What exactly could she do to delay it?

She walked into her suit to dress up. Then suddenly, an idea struck her mind. She quickly called one of her unregistered men.

"Gather the men. I want you guys to rob someone." She ordered as she opened the zip of her jacket.

"Okay, boss." The person acknowledged and a smirk formed on her lips. If only he knew who she was about to mention…

"I want you to rob my father. This minute, he's on his way to the Tender Hall." She ordered.
