Chapter 18: Chapter 18 : Vacation!!
☞: William House RTC – The Meeting Room
The towering William House RTC building gleamed under the midday sun, its sleek architecture a testament to the family's wealth and power. Inside the expansive meeting room, the atmosphere was calm yet tense, as Max William sat at the head of the polished mahogany table, reviewing documents with his characteristic precision.
Max, a man in his mid-fifties with sharp features and an unyielding gaze, exuded authority. His younger brother, Robert William, had just returned from a short business tour and sat to his right, his relaxed posture contrasting Max's rigid demeanor.
Lisa—or rather Natasha, in her carefully crafted disguise—stood nearby, observing the scene with subtle curiosity.
She was dressed impeccably in a tailored navy-blue suit, her demeanor professional yet alluring. As Lisa, she had perfected the art of blending confidence with mystery, a combination that made people both admire and underestimate her.
---
☞: Natasha's Inner Thoughts
So this is the infamous Max William, Natasha thought, her eyes scanning the man who had been the architect of countless ruthless deals. His reputation preceded him—a man who cared little for the process but demanded flawless results.
Natasha, however, wasn't here to admire his business acumen. She was here for her mission, and every interaction was a calculated move in her game.
He's sharp, but not sharp enough to see through me. Still... something about him feels off.
As Max spoke with Robert, Natasha noticed a flicker of suspicion in his eyes. She maintained her composed exterior, but her mind raced.
Does he suspect me? Or is he just this way with everyone?
---
(☞ :The Discussion Begins
Max finally looked up from the stack of papers in front of him and addressed Natasha.
"Lisa," he said, his tone as measured as his every move,
"you've been assisting with this project for a while now. I appreciate the results so far, but I couldn't help noticing something."
Natasha tilted her head slightly, her expression neutral.
"Something, Mr. William?"
Max's piercing eyes studied her for a moment before he continued,
"Your approach seems... different than what I was told to expect. I don't care about methods as long as the results are consistent, but I'd advise you to stay focused."
Natasha gave a small, polite smile.
"Of course, Mr. William. I assure you, my focus remains unwavering."
Max nodded, seemingly satisfied. For now.
---
☞: Eithan Joins the Meeting
Max pressed a button on the intercom.
"Eithan, come to the meeting room."
A few moments later, the door swung open, and Eithan strolled in, his usual carefree energy filling the space. He was dressed casually compared to the others, his shirt untucked, and his hair slightly disheveled.
"Dad, Uncle Robert,"
he greeted them with a grin before noticing Natasha. His playful demeanor turned into one of polite curiosity.
"And who might this be?"
Max gestured toward Natasha.
"Eithan, this is Lisa. She's been assisting us with the Old mansion project. Lisa, this is my oldest son, Eithan."
Natasha extended her hand, her smile warm but calculated.
"Pleasure to meet you, Eithan."
Eithan shook her hand, his grip firm yet friendly.
"Pleasure's mine. So, what brings you to this madness?"
Natasha chuckled lightly, her voice steady.
"Just doing my part to ensure everything runs smoothly."
Eithan leaned back against the table, his carefree tone intact.
"Well, good luck with that. If you can survive my dad's expectations, you're already a legend."
Max cleared his throat, cutting through Eithan's lighthearted banter.
"Eithan, I need you to brief Lisa on the old mansion project. You've been there recently."
---
☞The Old Mansion
Eithan straightened slightly, his tone still casual but more focused.
"The old mansion? Yeah, I've been there. It's got fifteen rooms, most of them covered in dust. There's this old library too, filled with books no one's touched in years."
He paused, scratching his head.
"Oh, and the walls are lined with these portraits. They look like they're from some royal family—probably the original owners or something. There's this one painting that's massive. A man and a woman sitting on these thrones. Honestly, they look more like kings and queens than regular folks."
Natasha's heart skipped a beat. They're not kings and queens of humans, she thought. They're the vampire king and queen. My pervious king and queen. Sarah mom and dad.
Eithan continued, oblivious to Natasha's inner turmoil.
"It's kind of creepy, honestly. The place gives off major haunted house vibes. But hey, if we're turning it into a resort or whatever, I'm sure people will love the thrill."
Max nodded, his expression unreadable. "Good. That's the kind of detail we need for the project. Now, focus on your tasks, Eithan."
Eithan saluted jokingly. "Yes, sir."
Max was surprised what just Eithan call him but didn't respond anything. Because Eithan did his work , After work he can do what ever he want.
---
☞ The Contract Signing
Robert, who had been quiet until now, leaned forward and placed a stack of papers on the table.
"Max, here's the updated contract. I've reviewed it, and everything looks good. I'll be taking 30%, Lisa gets 20%, and you'll have 50%, as agreed."
Max glanced at the papers and signed them without hesitation. He pushed them toward Natasha, his gaze sharp. "Your turn."
Natasha stepped forward and signed the documents with a steady hand, her face revealing nothing of the storm inside her. Step by step, Sarah. Trust the process.
---
☞ Natasha's Thoughts
As the meeting wrapped up, Natasha stood by the window, looking out at the bustling city below. Her mind wandered to the old mansion and the secrets it held.
The Williams think they can use that place for their schemes, but they have no idea what lies beneath the surface. Those walls have seen centuries of power, blood, and betrayal. They belong to us—not to these arrogant humans.
She glanced back at Max and Eithan, her expression unreadable. They'll learn soon enough. This family has no idea what they've invited into their world.
---
☞After the Meeting
Max turned to Natasha as she began to leave.
"Lisa, keep me updated on the mansion project. I want weekly reports."
"Of course, Mr. William," Natasha replied smoothly.
As Eithan passed her, he gave a small wave.
"See you around, Lisa. Don't let my dad scare you too much."
Natasha smiled faintly. "I'll try not to."
But as the door closed behind them, her smile vanished. Let the games begin.
---
The room was silent after Lisa left, the tension from the meeting still lingering in the air. Max William leaned back in his leather chair, his fingers steepled as he considered the next steps for the mansion project. His sharp eyes shifted to Eithan, who was still lounging in a chair, tapping his fingers on the armrest.
"Eithan," Max's voice cut through the silence, firm and commanding,
"I need you to head to the old mansion again."
Eithan groaned dramatically, sliding further down into his chair.
"Come on, Dad. You've got a dozen people on payroll who could do this better than me. Why drag me into it?"
Max's expression didn't waver.
"Because I want someone I trust to oversee this. I need you to analyze the surrounding property and confirm the structural integrity of the building."
Eithan sat up, crossing his arms.
"You're killing me with this. I've already told you what I saw last time. The mansion's old, dusty, and probably haunted. What more do you need?"
Max sighed, his patience wearing thin.
"Eithan, I'm not asking for much. Just take your brothers and sisters along. Make it a family trip. Treat it like a vacation if you have to."
"A vacation?"
Eithan raised an eyebrow, skepticism written all over his face.
"Sure, Dad. Because nothing screams 'vacation' like a crumbling old mansion in the middle of nowhere."
Max ignored the sarcasm, continuing as though Eithan hadn't spoken.
"I'll arrange hotel accommodations for a week. You'll have all the time you need to get this done. And if you play your cards right, you might even get some downtime."
Eithan sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair.
"Fine, fine. I'll go. But only because you're giving me no choice. Just don't expect me to love it."
"Good," Max said, satisfied.
"And Eithan—take this seriously. This project is important for our future investments."
---
☞: Preparing for the Trip
Later that day, Eithan sat in his room, staring at the packed duffel bag on his bed. His phone buzzed with a message from Josh.
Josh: Dad said we're all going to that creepy mansion? What's the deal? ( msg )
Eithan: It's his idea of a vacation. Don't ask me. Just pack your stuff. ( msg)
Adi : "...." — he was scared as hell . (Msg )

Albert See's on His Big sister phone . That's why he is dancing in his room .
Albert : Yuppy , vacation!! Vacation!!! ( Dancing and screaming in Rurh room )
Ruhr : where is Tara , Rocky and George?? ( Msg )
— While holding her brother Albert hands .

Josh : George is busy with his family matter !! And Tara and Rocky are in Couple Tour . (Msg )
Ruhr : Then , let's focus on our vacation!! (Msg )
Josh : Can u or me , bring Sarah !! With us ?? (Msg )
Eithan : "...Tsk. I don't Know!!" (Msg )
Josh : " ....My choice... My rule " (Msg )
Eithan smirked at the message before tossing his phone onto the bed. He had no idea how this so-called vacation was going to play out, but one thing was certain—there was no way it was going to be as simple as his father made it sound.
"Vacation, huh?" Eithan muttered to himself.
"Guess we'll see about that."
With a resigned sigh, he grabbed his bag and headed downstairs to gather the rest of the family.
