Will I Always Be Weak?

My mind feels fuzzy and my body aches. "It's so cold," I muttered as I tried to preserve my heat.

!Ding! Skill obtained, "Cold resistance" 

"What was that?" I cried as I looked into the abyss. The cold in my body has lessened and the memories I was looking for came flowing into my mind.

"Oh yeah, I died," I thought as tears flowed from my eyes, My father killed me. I still felt the heat of my blood as it flowed out of my mouth while he was choking the life out of me. It was so excruciating, it burned my throat like I was drinking boiling water.

"It burns," I said as the memories of the incident became more vivid.

!Ding! skill obtained "heat resistance"

!Ding! Combining Cold resistance and heat resistance.

!Ding! New skill Obtained: "Natural element resistance."

"Who are you!" I yelled as the noise began to fade 

"Show yourself!" I was screaming louder and louder into the darkness. When I realized the voice was not going to respond, I began to think. 

"Where am I?" I began to think

"Is this hell?"

!Ding! "You are floating through the eternal abyss."

" What?" I said as the voice faded again. I was so confused, Why is there a voice in my mind? What is the eternal abyss? Why am I here?

!! "Many higher beings are looking down at you in pity."

"Higher beings? Do you mean gods? Why are they here?!" I screamed; I was terrified and frustrated. I didn't want to be looked down on. I don't want to be pitied. I want to be alone. I curl into a ball and begin to weep.

!! " All the higher beings that were looking at you have moved on. Except for one."

"W-who would want to stay and watch me?" I said in a saddened voice.

!Ding! "You have received a message; do you want to read the message?" Yes/No

I look up at the strange words in front of me, Yes/No. "No," I say

!Ding! "You have received a message; do you want to read the message?" Yes/No

"No!" I scream.

!Ding! "You have received a message; do you want to read the message?" Yes/No

"No! Just leave me alone," I say pleadingly. After that, I just sat there by myself. I don't know how much time has passed—hours, days, weeks. I'm not sure; I've lost all sense of time in this endless darkness.

"Why is it always darkness," I say

As the voice disperses, the darkness brightens around me.

"Light!?" I shout as I can finally see the beauty of it. This light makes me so happy. 
"Ahh!" I scream as my heart aches and tears fall from my eyes. This is happiness, It has been so long since I've felt like this. 

A new sense of hope enters my body, followed by a sense of misery.

"I don't want to be alone anymore."

I look at the message, quell my fear and finally say.

"Yes"

!Ding! "Do you want to live? Yes/No"

"Do I want to live?" I mutter

"I don't know."

"I just want to be happy."

"I just want to see my sister."

!Ding! "You have received a message; do you want to read the message?" Yes/No

"Yes," I say

!! "Your sister is not here, but I know where she is."

"My sister?! I can see my sister again?" I shout into the nothingness around me

!Ding! "Do you want to live? Yes/No"

"Where is she? Where is Angie?" I shout

!Ding! "Do you want to live? Yes/No"

"How can I find her?" My voice getting louder

!Ding! "Do you want to live? Yes/No"

I yell, "Answer me!" 

!Ding! "Do you want to live? Yes/No"

"Stop it!" I scream

!Ding! "Do you want to live? Yes/No"

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!' I plead

!Ding! "Do you want to live? Yes/No." I kept yelling at the being, but it stopped speaking. It only said one thing.

As my head started to hurt and my mind began to ache. I came to a decision; it may be slim but I could see my sister again. I could see Angie again. I lifted my head and steadied my mind. I spoke one word.

"Yes." The world around me, the abyss, began to fade. I started to get woozy and my mind went blank. All I could hear were the notification sounds from the messages.

!Ding! "Creating a body that suits your desires."

!Ding! "Completed"

!Ding! "Transferring skills to your new body."

!Ding! "Completed"

!! "Acquiring new skills to suit your desires"

!Ding! "Completed"

!Ding! Do you wish to be reborn?" Yes/No

My mind flickers back to reality as I see these words and I say

"Yes"
