Chapter 174: Hidden Scenario : Excuse Me Princess

I arrived in a time when the world was still in the era of Skyward Sword.

In this world, I became a Hylians—a self-reliant one. Armed with only a sword and the clothes on my back, I set out on an adventure, seeking the unknown.

The Golden Goddess was watching me, testing whether I possessed the courage to face the impossible, the wisdom to use all the knowledge at my disposal, and the power to overcome every challenge. This was my trial.

I journeyed across Hyrule, far from civilization, exploring ruins and dungeons. Along the way, I discovered relics, inscriptions, and magical artifacts. With the help of my Auto Learning and Auto-Diagnose skills, I was able to analyze and understand them.

I fought bandits and demons, though the battles left me severely wounded. Even though I was weak, I refused to give up—this was my test.

Thanks to the Fierce Deity Mark, I was immune to poison, extreme temperatures, and even demonic influences.

At times, I found chests scattered across Hyrule, containing valuable items to sustain me. These chests were commonplace in Hyrule, but each one held something I could use.

I sought shelter at an abandoned bandit camp, burying the bandits to avoid attracting beasts. After a much-needed rest, I began making plans. Thanks to the Fierce Deity Mark, I didn't need food or water to survive. My body could adapt to anything. But I was concerned about how this power might affect my future, especially the next time I traveled to another world. I made a promise to myself to remain humble, despite the godly powers I wielded.

For ten years, I focused on rigorous self-training: 100 push-ups, sit-ups, squats, running 10 km, swimming, and mountain climbing, among other physical challenges. For intellectual growth, I practiced magic, spiritual training, and studied ancient languages. I spent hours perfecting my combat skills, training with one hand, two hands, weapons, shields, and even archery.

Every day, I followed this routine for eight hours, leaving the rest of the day for food, interacting with the villagers, and resting. I lived a secluded life, only speaking to those I trusted, as I had vowed to remain silent. The children called me the "Burn Mute Uncle," and I treated them like my own.

Over time, I became acquainted with the Hylian people and their culture. I befriended Bokoblins, who, unlike other monsters, saw me as part of their tribe. My Courteous, Innocent, Loving, and Gentle stigma allowed me to gain the trust of even the wildest creatures.

Five years passed before war arrived in Hyrule. The Interlopers—dark invaders—had begun to dominate, and I found myself in the middle of it, confused and neutral. I didn't know what timeline I was in—was it the Ocarina of Time era, or the one after? Regardless, I didn't care. I was content in this world.

I emerged from my cave to join the battle, and in a surprising turn, the Spirit of Light appeared and offered to help me banish the Interlopers. Using my magic, I fought back their dark forces. We succeeded in banishing them, but I didn't just destroy their magic—I absorbed their knowledge, learning their ways of dark magic.

The Great Fairy, who had been watching me, warned me about the dangers of dark magic, but I demonstrated my control over it, even impressing her. With years of intense training, I had mastered many types of magic, including forbidden ones like hexes, void, death, and demonic magic. My understanding of magic was flawless, and I showed the Great Fairy how it was done.

Though I had been living in isolation, I still hadn't met the main protagonists or antagonists. Time passed, and Hyrule entered an age of prosperity. Eventually, I crossed paths with Zelda, who had matured into a capable warrior. I offered to become her teacher, and she accepted. I trained her in practical combat, though I pretended to be mute out of respect for my vow with the Great Fairy.

Zelda's skills grew, and we sparred in mock battles. Despite being outmatched, she tried her best, though I always had the upper hand. One time, during a political festival where various princes and princesses showed off their skills, they tried to learn from my training methods. However, they couldn't handle the intensity of my regime.

My training was grueling—no rest, no food, no breaks—and I used multiple types of magic simultaneously, including forbidden spells. Many couldn't handle it.

I also continued my interactions with the Bokoblins, trading and hunting with them. They never attacked me and treated me as one of their own.

The festival arrived, and rumors spread that I was secretly a demon who threatened the peace. These rumors began to escalate, and I could feel the tension rising.

The rumor escalated into something uncontrollable, and before I knew it, the festival had become an execution—a trial where I was condemned as a traitor. Was I filled with regret? No, perhaps it was for the best. But just as my head was about to be severed, an incredible intervention occurred.

The Great Goddess and the Great Fairy, both in an overwhelming surge of wrath, appeared before Hyrule. Their fury was palpable, their power radiating across the land. The Three Goddesses were enraged, not just by my unfair execution but by the foolishness of the Hylians. The Great Fairy, with her vast power over nature, nearly caused a calamity herself—reminding everyone that to anger the embodiment of nature, the literal creator of the world, was a dangerous act.

I too was reminded of my place in this world. My Auto Merit skill and Alice Stigma had caused those around me to grow fond of me, even though I sometimes entertained naughty thoughts. But I had principles, and I had a goal to accomplish.

However, things were spiraling out of control. The Goddesses, in their anger, cast a curse upon all of Hyrule. In that moment of pure instinct, I chose to perform a selfless act: I took the curse upon myself.

The pain was unimaginable. It wasn't just any curse—it was something akin to a world-ending reset, a Calamity that could rewrite everything. Though my Fierce Deity Mark granted me immunity to curses, the agony was still overwhelming. For seven excruciating minutes, I endured the Goddess's wrath alone. My body became a conduit for the curse, circulating it within me, transferring the pain and power throughout every fiber of my being.

The Three Goddesses, witnessing this act, were taken aback. Surprise, anger, and sorrow flickered across their faces as they watched me endure the torment without breaking. Even the Great Fairy, who had tried to help, couldn't stop the curse's spread. My body, mind, and soul absorbed the curse so thoroughly that even the Fairy's magic was futile. Her strength was not enough to cleanse the curse from me; if she pushed herself further, my mind or soul would be lost to the darkness.

In the end, the Goddesses left, feeling guilty for what had happened. Their wrath had been aimed at the foolishness of the people, and I had paid the price for their ignorance. The Great Fairy, angry and heartbroken, cursed the Hylians for their stupidity, foretelling a civil war where no one would emerge victorious until the truth behind the rumors was revealed. She carried me away to her sanctuary, leaving Hyrule to its impending chaos.

The civil war began, and the kingdom fell into turmoil. It turned out the person who had spread the rumors was an individual whose own tribe had been raided by the Interlopers. My arrival had been too late to help them, and in their bitterness, they had branded me a traitor.

The curse had left its mark, and I slumbered in the Great Fairy's domain for what felt like an eternity.

"Valtor, wake up."

I opened my eyes and found myself in a coffin filled with a strange liquid, its smell odd and unfamiliar.

I broke through the coffin with a blast of magic, surveying my surroundings. It was a dark dungeon, and the walls were lined with bones.

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked myself.

"A thousand years. You've arrived in the Ocarina of Time era," a voice answered.

"Fair enough. Looks like it's time to duel with Link, considering I've already sparred with Zelda twice."

I walked toward the exit of the dungeon, stepping into the past. I stood at the edge of a cliff, feeling the weight of time pressing down on me.

"Okay, enough of this," I muttered under my breath. Without hesitation, I leapt from the cliff, dashing toward the kingdom where Link, the hero of time, was destined to emerge. But before I reached him, I remembered Zelda's clever disguise as the Sheikah persona. I needed my own persona, one that would allow me to blend in unnoticed.

I changed my attire, crafting a new look that was distinct from Zelda's, though similar in style. As I finished, I made my way into Hyrule Castle Town, where I found the marketplace. There, I tried to sell my relics—artifacts from a thousand years ago. Some were considered priceless, but others were nothing more than relics of the past. In the end, I didn't sell most of them; instead, I salvaged the items that had no immediate value, recycling them for use later.

After making a modest profit, I decided to seek out the Great Deku Tree for wisdom.

"Welcome, Honored One," greeted an old man with a familiar, ancient voice.

"What? What did you say?" I was still disoriented.

"Ah, I see. You are confused. From your vow of silence, I gather you are the one who endured the wrath of the Goddesses," he said, his voice filled with compassion.

I nodded and took a seat in front of him.

"Poor soul," he continued. "Your body is still full of curse energy. Even I am unable to cleanse it. The Great Fairy, who once guarded you, has passed away out of guilt. She sacrificed herself to cleanse your mind of the curse, and she succeeded. But your body... it is beyond saving. Your soul was tainted by the cursed energy. Only the Great Fairy's race could seal you away, but now that she is gone, you must hurry. Seek the Temple of Time. Ask the Goddesses for an audience, so they can cleanse your soul. Your body may be lost in the process, but if you wait too long, you will lose everything."

I raised my hand and, with a wave of magic, manifested words in the air. Word Magic—something I had spent years perfecting, using my silence to create full sentences and even scrolls of written magic.

Fortune favors the curious, after all.

The Great Deku Tree looked at me with an expression of pure curiosity as I used my Word Magic, manipulating the air itself like a canvas and inscribing solid words that floated in the space before me. I had learned to make these words invincible, visible only to specific individuals—much like radio frequencies. Combining science and magic was a breakthrough I owed to Vivian's teachings. I had truly begun to create a new kind of magic, something I would call Meta Magic... or perhaps Science Magic? Either way, it was an innovation that could alter the very nature of reality itself.

But while I marveled at my new abilities, there was a pressing issue: the curse of the Goddess, marked on my body as a tattoo that seemed to grow with time. The curse had first appeared on my chest, but I honestly believed it to be harmless. However, in the eyes of others, it was a dangerous force—a curse akin to enduring the wrath of the Goddesses all at once.

Before I could ponder this further, I bid farewell to the Deku Tree and moved on. Soon enough, I encountered Link. The Great Deku Tree accepted him as the Hero of Time, and while they spoke, Navi, the fairy, appeared beside him.

Link glanced at me, and I met his gaze. Without speaking, I used my Word Magic to communicate.

"Want to train?"

Link, always concerned, nodded. I smiled and initiated a mock duel.

In that duel, I taught Link everything I knew about combat—basic swings, advanced techniques, blocking, advanced blocks, parrying, and even the impossible perfect parry. I pushed him to his limits, shaping him into a better warrior with every strike.

By the end of our practice, the rewards were clear.

[Duel with Link (12 times). Rewards: Navi The Fairy Guide Stigma, Item Parry Exclusive Skill, Perfect Guard Transcendence Skill, Perfect Dodging Exclusive Skill, Flurry Rush Transcendence Skill Obtained.]

Once our training was over, Link invited me to join him on his adventure. I had no objections—why not? We traveled together, fighting countless enemies. While Link dealt with most of the battles, I supported him from behind, using my advanced magic to assist.

We eventually encountered Sheik, and I couldn't resist. I raised my blade to challenge him to a duel.

"You're on," Sheik accepted without hesitation.

I did not hold back. I outmaneuvered Zelda, whose focus wavered due to the delicious smell of my cooking. Meanwhile, Link sat on the sidelines, devouring my food with an insatiable appetite.

The fight was swift, and I easily bested Zelda. In return, I received a reward.

[Duel with Zelda (3 times). Reward: Zelda's Harp Obtained.]

"Is this it?" I wondered aloud. "Do I have to finish the entire scenario before I can truly move on?"

"Yes," came the cryptic response.

"Fair enough," I muttered, as I sat down, watching Link greedily consume the last of my food. Once we had a short break, we continued our journey to collect the sacred stones that would open the Temple of Time.

After much travel, we finally encountered Ganondorf. I issued a challenge, eager to test myself against him.

"Let's see what you've got," I said, preparing for battle.

Ganondorf accepted, and our duel began. The outcome was predictable: he was soundly defeated. I had caught him completely off guard, with my proficiency in Dark Magic, swordsmanship, spears, dual-wielding, and even horse-riding while using a sword. The man had no idea what hit him.

However, the battle was not without its merit. Ganondorf became competitive, determined to have a rematch.

[Duel with Ganondorf (12 times). Reward: Calamity Host, Beast Amplification Stigma, Demon King Transformation Transcendence Skill, Suave Magic Dance Exclusive Skill, Sacred Stone Personal Attribute Obtained.]

As we pressed on, we encountered Zelda once again. This time, I was much more decisive, ending the fight quickly instead of toying with her as I had done before.

[Duel with Zelda (9 times). Reward: Light Infusion Stigma, Light Spirit Gathering Transcendence Skill Obtained.]

Two more duels, and the scenario would be complete. I focused on Link's growth, teaching him and supporting him while maintaining my discipline. After countless errands, fights, and some playful moments, we finally arrived at the Temple of Time.

Link took the Master Sword and vanished into the Sacred Realm, but I remained behind to inspect the Tri-force pedestal. As I approached, the golden triangle appeared, glowing brightly.

A voice echoed.

"You're here. Why don't we share the Tri-force together? It would be beneficial for both of us."

"Share?" I scoffed. "The Goddesses owe me an apology for what they did to me. No, I'll take it for myself."

With that, I touched the Tri-force, and it marked my left hand, completing the Tri-force of Power.

[Scenario Complete.]

"Wait... don't end it yet. I still need more time," I said, not ready to leave just yet.

"Sure," came the response.

At that moment, Ganondorf attacked. This time, the fight was different. I didn't just defeat him—I overpowered him with ease. He tried his best to match my strength, but it was futile. I secretly used my magic to banish him from this realm.

Afterward, I used the Goddess's Curse to rid myself of the Tri-force and return it to its rightful place.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not worthy," I murmured to myself. I had used the Tri-force to fight Ganondorf, but I knew it was time to let it go.

I made my way to the temple, where Zelda had been hiding. I found her and approached.

"A good hiding spot, but unfortunately, you're predictable."

Zelda emerged, confused by how I had wielded the Tri-force. But there was no time for answers—only one last fight.

We clashed for the final time, and at long last, the battle was over.

[Duel with Zelda (12 times). Reward: Evil Sealing Exclusive Skill, Angelic Voice Personal Attribute Obtained.]

With that, I knew my journey was almost complete. I returned to the Ocarina of Time and played the music that would send me back to the ancient past. I arrived at the moment when the war was raging—where Demise still existed.

And then it happened.

The blood of my Arknight ancestors surged within me. I was about to commit unspeakable war crimes, rallying all tribes and races with my Auto Merit skill. Together, we decimated the demon army effortlessly, with Goddess Hylia as my second in command.

Demise, seeing me approach, demanded to know who I was.

"I'm the unsung hero," I answered, raising the sword. "The one who ends it all."

And so, I defeated Demise—not with the Goddess Sword or Hylia's blessing, but with his own sword.

As Demise cursed the world in his final moments, I took the curse upon myself. My sacrifice sealed the Goddess's wrath and Demise's curse, intertwining them with my own spirit.

In the end, I was bound by the Cursed Dark Soul.

[User Obtained New Poise: Cursed Dark Soul.]

Cursed Dark Soul: A soul cursed to bear the burden of the gods' injustices. This cursed essence channels dark energies, invoking curses upon those who dare to oppose its wielder. It carries an unsettling aura, forcing others to confront their own sins. The bearer may gain forbidden knowledge or hidden strength, but at great cost to their sanity and morality.

All was set. It was time to prepare a welcoming party for the Goddess in Heaven.

I took out the Goddess Sword and returned it to Hylia. I treated my wounds and stayed in place for a moment before journeying to Skyloft with Hylia. She seemed to pity me because of the curse, sensing the injustice I had endured.

She could see the places I had protected humans despite their role in my suffering—an act typical of a hero's selflessness. However, the curse was so intense that even the Great Fairies or nature beings couldn't cleanse it completely. A single Great Fairy was only able to cleanse my mind, allowing me to remain sane despite my body being unclassified as a "being." My soul was brimming with so many curses that even Hylia struggled to comprehend their depth.

When we arrived at the Tri-force, I poked it. Hylia and I ascended to Heaven, where the Goddess awaited us. However, my Cursed Soul was a bane in this realm. I could feel a fuzzy sensation in my body and soul as the curses inside me were instantaneously cleansed.

We were greeted by the three Goddesses, and their presence amused me. They approached me directly, eager to fulfill their duties.

Nayru was calm and reserved. Din was fierce and mighty. Farore was tactful and approachable. Hylia, on the other hand, was simply annoying. I couldn't resist commenting on that.

"Oh, Cursed One. How are we supposed to forgive you for all of this?"

"Simple," I said, pulling out a deck of Uno cards.

"We'll settle this with a game." Yes, you heard that right. We were going to play Uno. My strategy? Beat them all into submission through sheer skill.

I had no real intentions of romantic entanglements. Grappling with any of these divine beings was pointless—time wasted. I had my preferences, and I remained loyal to my Tsundere Elf.

I explained the rules to them, and the game began. With Hylia on my side, I dominated. The game was simple, direct, and efficient. I won the first game, and the second. Then the third. My proficiency with strategy and foresight gave me the upper hand every time, much to the increasing frustration of the Goddesses.

They debated, argued, and shouted at each other over stacked +2 cards and unfortunate color combinations. I took my time drawing out their frustrations, carefully stacking my wins with calculated strategy, ultra-instinct foresight, Auto Merit, Auto Learning, and even Auto Diagnosis. They cheated, sure, but I anticipated every move.

By the time the fourth round came, I won again. And again. And again.

[Scenario Personal Challenge Complete]

"We laugh seeing them yell and argue so much in this simple card game. Pure entertainment."

"AGAIN," I declared, challenging them to consecutive rounds. Ten times. Each time, I came out victorious. Din was enraged, flipping the table and sulking. Nayru was having a mental breakdown. Farore just sat in quiet contemplation, baffled at how a mortal could defeat them repeatedly. Even Hylia herself grew irritable.

The Goddesses had no counter to my strategy. Despite their cheating and efforts, I had every advantage.

But eventually, I felt it was time to leave.

"Where do you think you're going?" Nayru asked sharply.

"I must leave now. Thank you for your time, Goddess."

"You can't just leave. We haven't won," she pressed.

"Oh, but you already did," I said as my body began to glow, my voice cutting through the air as I vanished.

"Until next time, Goddess." I returned to the Demon World and awoke, stretching and yawning. I equipped my mask to cover my face.

"Thank you," I whispered. The Angel, demon, Eldritch, Gog, and Magog nodded. I was ready to receive my reward.

I tapped into my newly gained treasures and read the Zelda Secret Diary.

"Oh my lord..." I muttered as I opened the contents. Pandora's Box had been opened, and I wasn't sure I should ever return to this world.

"Remind me not to go there again," I mused.

"Amusing, isn't it?" an otherworldly voice responded.

"Not amusing at all. This girl is insane."

The voice continued. Apparently, Zelda harbored a deep resentment toward Hyrule due to my actions and sacrifices. I had been a significant part of her origins, history, and memories—a key figure in timelines and loops.

The voice elaborated: Zelda's obsession with me had intensified over time, particularly because my actions had split her personality and created many unnecessary loops. Moreover, my connection with her previous incarnation had made her love triangle with Link far more unstable than I could have imagined.

It wasn't surprising. I had stolen hearts and connected deeply with divine beings through fate and power. My charm had secured many alliances and conflicts alike. However, this was a reminder: I had a harem to maintain, a curse to endure, and worlds to traverse carefully.

"I'll focus on relics and my studies," I resolved.

Using my Crafting Table and Enchanting Table, I set to research and expand my relic collection. I could feel the powers and possibilities swirling in these ancient treasures.
