Delayed Transfer

Mark and the kids arrived at the entrance of the next circus so they exited the electric vehicle and he stored it in his inventory. The third circus was much like theirs with the acts scattered around the location. There was a stage for a magician performing tricks, acrobatic acts, animals performing tricks, a man who was throwing daggers at another man who was tied on a large circle board that was spinning, and stage play where actors would perform plays and Mark even got a glimpse of carriages filled with beautiful women and men much like Madam Luzviminda’s carriage.

What excited the twins were the ones catered to kids specifically that had prices that a customer could win like toys and stuff much like the carnivals back on earth. The first thing that Mark and the kids tried was the one where they would toss some rings into bottles and if they received a good score, they would win a prize.

Isaac and Aaron became competitive with each other and kept asking Mark to buy rings from the man looking after the stall and with Liriel cheering them on, kept tossing the rings towards the bottles. After about thirty minutes, the twins finally got tired and luckily, they both won a small stuffed toy that they immediately gave to Liriel to the little girl's delight. So now Liriel was hugging a stuffed toy while Mark carried her and he had to keep the other one in his inventory.

The next stall they visited was selling some snacks so they stopped there and ate some. They continued roaming around the circus watching the acts and playing with the stalls they took a fancy to. They spent the afternoon enjoying the circus and when Mark saw that the twins and Liriel were getting tired, he decided to return to their RV so the kids could take a nap.

Mark immediately took the electric golf cart from his inventory and they drove home without stopping even if somebody was flagging them to ask him about the vehicle.

When they reached the RV, the twins and Liriel were already nodding off so he carried them to the main bedroom and tucked them in.

After that Mark went outside to check the surroundings. The movie theater slash tent was now huge and when he asked the guard that was guarding the ticket booth, the man said that the theater could now seat up to six hundred people but there were still a lot of people clamoring that they should increase it.

According to the guard, most of those who had seen the movie kept repeating it especially young wealthy men. The guard also said that the food stall was also earning a lot of coins from the moviegoers since Hamil allowed the watchers to eat snacks while they were watching the movie.

While Mark was talking to the guard, Hamil arrived with the leaders of the other circuses with Nedertu driving them using the golf cart.

“Hamil, when did you increase the tent?”

The golf cart stopped beside him and the people riding it exited.

“Before the start of the second screening today. I knew that this would happen so we’re already prepared but I expected that we would use the smaller theater tent for about three to four days before we switched to the larger one.”

“I’m really envious of Hamil’s circus now. You’re earning tons of gold from the people of Narcone,” One of the other circus leaders said.

Hamil just smiled and everyone could see the excitement on his face.

“I would copy the Haunted House act once we leave this city,” One of the others said and Hamil just laughed.

Mark knew that Hamil was fine with it since it was inevitable for them to copy each other's acts but Hamil was still happy since some of the acts that theirs had were unique and couldn’t be copied.

“Some young people from the city were convinced that the movies were real and they even began forming some sort of clubs that studied the characters,” Hamil suddenly said to Mark.

“It’s expected I guess. Why don’t you host a convention after a few days of showing the movies to the people? You can sell tickets and movie paraphernalia. That could earn you lots of gold coins.”

“What’s a convention?” It was one of the other circus leaders who asked.

“An event where the attendees would wear costumes that they created themselves that resemble the characters in the movies. In the place where I was from, some of the costumes that people made were truly creative. Like the one who made a costume that resembles Jabba the Hut. Some women even wore Princess Leia’s slave costume and were proud to show so much skin to others as if the costume released them from their inhibitions. Then once everyone gathered on the event site, there would be a massive party and judges who would judge the best costume and they would give out prices.”

“That’s a good idea! I will go ahead and start the planning and preparation,” Hamil excitedly said then he immediately climbed the RV and commanded Nedertu to drive him somewhere.

Mark heard the other circus leaders clamoring to Hamil to let them join in on the convention plan. He then excitedly returned to the RV since he was planning to join the convention and he would prepare his and the kid’s costumes.

When he entered the RV, Mark sat in the living room and browsed his inventory for the best costume that he could wear but the problem was the twins and Liriel’s costumes since all the costumes that he had were made for adults.

The best thing that he could do was bring the costumes that the kids would choose to a tailor who could copy them in the kid’s sizes.

Mark chose the Bobba Fett costume that he had in his inventory and immediately wore it complete with its fake guns and accessories.

When he was completely in the costume, the twins and Liriel exited the main bedroom and they saw him.

“Bobba Fett!” Isaac and Aaron shouted.

Mark removed his helmet and the kids ran towards him. Liriel curiously inspected his costume and the twins were asking why he became Bobba Fett.

“The circus will hold a convention and the participants need to wear a costume from the Star Wars movies. There will be a contest for the best costume and those who will win would receive a prize.”

The twins gasped and shouted that they wanted to wear costumes as well so Mark told them that he would show them several costumes and once they selected the ones they wanted, he would ask a tailor to alter them to fit them.

Almost expected, the twins chose the black and white Jedi costumes complete with robes. Isaac wanted to wear the black one while Aaron would like the white one. Liriel peculiarly chose to go inside the R2D2 Robot costume and it looked like she was riding a vehicle. Mark planned to convert the costume so that Liriel could sit inside comfortably and he would push the robot with his telekinesis.

The twins then urged Mark to go to a tailor immediately so their costumes could be made to fit them as soon as possible. Since it was early, he decided to go to look for one in the city right then.
