Delayed Transfer

Mark, the twins, and Liriel exited the RV and he summoned the electric mini vehicle since he was planning to use it to search for a tailor that could either alter or imitate the costume that the twins selected for the Star Wars convention that Hamil and the others were now planning because of his suggestion.

There was a massive amount of city folks near their RV since Milena was still selling the items that Mark had conjured and based on the activities of Milena’s assistant, there were still a lot of products in their RV so it’ll probably take them a while more.

Mark and the kids rode the golf cart and while it did garner attention from the surrounding people, there were no more surprised expressions since the golf cart had been all over the circus being ridden by Hamil and the others so the people were becoming familiar with it.

They arrived at the street where the tailors and seamstresses were located as pointed by the patrolling guards. They checked the windows of the shops in the street since Mark was looking for one that had children’s clothes on their window display. Since the golf cart was slow enough and the people walking the street would have enough time to get out of the way, Mark was hoping that no one would complain about the golf cart being driven in the streets.

After a while, they found a shop with children’s clothes displayed in the windows together with adult clothes so the mannequins looked like a family. Mark stored the vehicle inside his storage and destroyed it since he was planning to replicate a new one with a full charge when they were ready to return. Upon entering the store, Mark was greeted by an old man and he was a little surprised since he was expecting something like a middle-aged woman.

“Good evening good sirs, madame, how may I assist you this fine day?” The old man said to everyone which made the twins giggle.

“The circus who had been showing the Star Wars movies will hold a costume event and we’re planning to attend.”

Unexpectedly, the old man became excited and called someone in the back. An old woman and a couple of teenagers appeared.

“What happened dear?” The old woman asked the one Mark assumed was her husband.

“This fine man said that the circus will hold a costume event based on the Star Wars movies that we saw and I assume that there would be a prize. Since we’ve seen the first two movies and we’re planning to watch the third one tomorrow, we need to join and win! It would make our shop famous!”

The two teenagers, a boy and a girl became excited and suddenly kept talking about which character they would imitate. The boy then responded that they shouldn’t choose yet since the third and last movie will be shown the next day.

“The movie tomorrow is not the last! There were a lot more Star Wars movies and we’ve seen six movies already. There were three more that we haven’t seen yet since Mark hadn’t shown it to us and we just forgot!” Aaron suddenly interrupted the teenagers who looked like they were fifteen or sixteen years old.

The old man and the teenagers gasped when they heard what Aaron had said. Not to be outdone by his brother, Isaac added some more Star Wars bombs.

“Not only that, Mark told us that there were a lot more Star Wars television shows and there’s even a few games! If you don’t know, television shows are just like movies but they were shorter but there were more of them called episodes.”

Mark sighed when he heard the twins overshared again but then again, they were just imitating him.

The old man and the teenager became highly excited that Mark was alarmed for a bit that the old man would have a heart attack. The old woman sighed and sternly told her husband to attend to the customer’s needs.

The old man was embarrassed about forgetting himself and apologized to Mark.

“I brought a couple of costumes and I wanted to ask if you can alter or copy them to fit the boys.”

Mark retrieved the black and white Jedi costumes from his inventory and gave them to the old man to be inspected.

“These are great costumes!” the old man exclaimed.

Mark thought that it should be since he paid a lot of money for them to be made by highly skilled cosplay customers back on Earth.

“Can I have my grandson wear one of them so I can check what they’re supposed to look like?” The old man asked and Mark said that it was okay.

The man’s grandson excitedly went to the back of the store bringing the white Jedi Costume with him including its robe. When the boy returned and was wearing the Jedi costume, his sibling gasped and his grandmother praised him and said that he looked very handsome.

“It’s really well made! Do you want me to copy it or alter the costume? I will not be able to return it back to its original size if I alter it and it’s a pity to destroy the costume,” the old man said sadly.

“That’s okay sir, I have more of them,” Mark consoled the old tailor.

After a few minutes of the old tailor inspecting the clothes while noting some things in his notebook, he then called the twins and started measuring every part of their bodies. Mark was surprised to see that the old tailor measured both kids since he thought that the old man would measure just one of them since they were twins but according to the old tailor, he was making sure and they did have some minute differences.

The old man’s wife then asked what costume the little girl would wear and Mark replied that they had already prepared one for her.

Several minutes passed and after that, Mark and the twins exited the shop after paying the old man the deposit.

Mark was supposed to return after two days to make sure that the costume would fit the twins and then a couple more days after that to make sure that the costumes were perfect.

The sun was already setting so Mark retrieved the electric golf cart from his inventory and they drove home to the circus.

When they arrived in the RV, Mark saw the golf cart that was being used by Nedertu to drive Hamil and the others being charged from one of the electric ports located outside the RV.

“Nedertu please remember to fill the gasoline tank of the RVs to make sure that we don’t lose the electricity,” Mark said to the catman when they entered the RV.

Food was already on the table that was prepared by Milena so they began eating their dinner. Nedertu suddenly mentioned that almost all of the circus people began planning on creating their costumes for the upcoming Star Wars convention.

Nedertu added that Hamil hadn’t announced it yet but he was planning for the circus people to continue wearing their costumes even after the event had concluded to make the circus livelier. The catman also said that Hamil was planning to create some circus acts based on the Star Wars movies.

The twins boasted that they already had costumes but it was being altered to fit their bodies by a tailor in the city.
