Delayed Transfer

Chapter 348

The next day arrived and while they were eating breakfast, Nedertu said that Hamil requested that most people help with the movie theater slash tent since the customers that were queueing even before the circus was open were as countless as the star in the sky.

Hamil also mentioned to Nedertu that the circus leader was planning to announce the Star Wars convention before the movie screening for Episode VI Return of the Jedi. The convention would happen two weeks from today and the top ten winners would receive the privilege of viewing Episode I The Phantom Menace a week before the actual showing of the movie. The top three winners would receive custom toys based on the movies.

“We will win and we’ll receive the custom toys!” The twins clamored.

“I’m guessing that anyone who is part of the circus is allowed to join but will be excluded from the prize pool. You don’t need to win anyway since I assume that the custom toys will be from me and since it’s from me, I can give a copy of all of the toys to you both,” Mark told the twins.

“Oh, the circus people have our separate costume competition as well and no one is excluded,” Nedertu said.

“A lot of people were saying that you should be excluded since the movies came from you and you have the power to conjure the best costume but Hamil said that that should be a challenge that anyone should overcome since if they won against you, that meant that they were truly were the best,” Milena added while laughing.

After breakfast, Rendira arrived informing Mark and the twins that she would start teaching the kids again to the dismay of the boys.

“What are you complaining about? The circus doesn’t open until the afternoon anyways,” Mark reprimanded the twins but the boys just kept on pouting.

When Rendira left, Mark went to Milena’s RV to replicate the items that they would sell in the afternoon.

“At first I had this idea of conjuring some Star Wars toys but since those will be the prize for the competition, I’m glad that I held it off,” Mark said to Milena.

While Mark was busy replicating the items that they would sell, somebody knocked on the door and when Milena opened it, it was Hamil.

“I’m guessing you’ve heard from Nedertu some of our plans regarding the Star Wars convention?” Hamil asked and Mark nodded.

“Well, I just want to tell you since Nedertu may have missed some. We planned to let Episodes Three, Four, and Five of the first Star Wars trilogy run for two weeks then after that we will hold the costume convention then a week after, we will show Episodes One to Three. Is that fine with you?”

“That’s fine with me and I’m guessing I should be providing the rewards for the top three prizes?”

“Yes and thank you and as compensation, we will give you forty percent of the earnings from the convention,” Hamil said and Mark just nodded.

Milena was excited when she heard that a huge part of the earnings would be given to Mark since she was the one handling the family's finances.

Mark then replicated an advanced toy lightsaber that looked high-tech and classy, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia action figures, and the Lego Death Star.

“You decide which ones should be the first to third prizes,” Mark told Hamil then gave the toys to the circus leader.

Hamil inspected the toys and exited the RV while carrying the toys with him.

Mark continued replicating the items they would sell later and after that, he returned to his RV. The twins were still in the middle of their lessons and Liriel was with them listening to Rendira teaching the twins with her coloring books scattered around her.

Since the kids were still busy, he went to the movie theater to check the situation there and when he arrived there, he was surprised at the huge number of people queueing behind the ticket booth. Hamil was forced to assign a lot of people to become guards and assist the customers while they were queueing to avoid any accidents.

Mark saw that Hamil was talking to the other circuses leaders with a smiling face and the other leaders clearly had jealous expressions on their faces.

At the entrance of the theater, Mark saw that Hamil had someone put in a table and the toys that he replicated were displayed behind a glass case guarded by the two of the circus people. The lightsaber was tagged as the third prize, the action figures of Luke, Han, and Leia were tagged as second prize and the Lego Death Star was tagged as the first prize for the Star Wars convention costume event.

Mark laughed at how Hamil treated the toys as if they were priceless treasures but when he checked the people who were queueing, the desire on their faces while looking at the toys that were displayed was undeniable.

He then went inside the theater and no one stopped him since everyone knew him. Mark was surprised when he entered the tent. The floor was fully covered with a thick carpet, the chairs were huge, soft, and comfortable and the temperature was comfortably cold, just like a classy movie theater from Earth.

Mark knew that the temperature was probably controlled by a magic rune but he wondered where Hamil got the carpet and the chairs. A quick count of the chairs showed that there were around seven hundred of them and based on the price of the movie ticket, which was truly exorbitant, he could understand why the leaders from the other circuses were envious of Hamil. Their circus was truly earning a massive amount of coins from the city people of Narcone and he wondered how many coins Milena had received from Hamil since twenty percent of the earnings was supposed to be given to her for safekeeping.

When he exited the theater, he saw that Hamil and the others were riding the electric golf cart being driven by Nedertu.

Mark then went to the Yoda Roller Coaster and there were also a lot of people queueing at the ticket booth for the ride even though the circus wasn’t opened yet.

While he was looking at the group of people who were queueing to purchase tickets, Mark thought of his plans while they were staying in the city. Today, he planned to go with the kids to check out the last circus then they would tour the city of Narcone. After that, Mark would ask someone if they would be allowed to dive into the Novice’s dungeon together with the kids. Then he would check out the other two dungeons to see if they would be able to assist him in leveling up.

Actually leveling up was not a problem for Mark yet since even though he was way too over level for his dungeon, he was still earning two to four levels per dungeon but once he reached the fiftieth floor of his dungeon which would be the last floor, the experienced gained would be reduced severely.

Mark wasn’t too worried though since according to Solinae, there were dungeons in this world that were truly powerful and if he really needed to level up to become more powerful, he could dive those.
