Delayed Transfer

Chapter 351

Mark, Liriel, and the young adventurers moved forward and they encountered the second group of goblins. Liriel wanted to be let down again and he knew that the little girl wanted to deal with the goblins so he let her.

Liriel trotted to the goblins and shouted Mark’s name again.

“Why does she keep shouting your name to cast her spells?” Enos asked.

“It’s her first word,” Mark replied.

The guardian wisp flew out from the little girl's hair and cast mage armor on Liriel then attacked the goblins with a mage bolt. When all of the goblins were dead, Liriel returned to Mark and asked to be carried again and the little girl was giggling as if she was proud that she was able to vanquish her enemies.

“I guess we're not needed to fight for now,” Anura said while sighing then they went towards the dead goblins to check the loot.

Enos searched the corpses and he shouted.

“Divines! Two mana stones! These goblins had two mana stones! Mark, your sister is the child of the goddess of luck!” Enos kept shouting but this time, Anura and the others were also very surprised.

Everyone knew that the first floor of the dungeon was not supposed to drop mana stones and they should only start dropping at the second floor and rarely at that but they already received three mana stones from two groups of enemies from the first floor.

Mark then wondered if Liriel was truly lucky or if it was the wisp but then again, if luck was really involved, it should be Liriel since the wisp was considered a weapon. They moved forward and the two groups of goblins they confronted were also destroyed by the wisp. It was confirmed that Liriel had extreme luck since the two groups of goblins dropped four mana stones.

The young adventurers were truly jubilant since what they had already received so far was an incredible amount of wealth from their perspective and they were only on the first floor.

Unfortunately for the adventurers, after the last group of goblins, Liriel didn’t want to move anymore. The little girl was tired so she was already napping on Mark’s arm.

The next group of goblins were defeated by the adventurer and sad to say they took more time compared to Liriel’s wisp and there were no valuable drops at all. The next group of goblins were the same, there were no drops so the young adventurers were feeling a bit sad. After just thirty minutes, they reached the gate to the second floor so Mark bid them goodbye and informed them that he was a wizard from the circus who erected the movie tent so if they had the time, they could visit him and Liriel there.

“Thank you so much for joining us here Mark. If it were not for Liriel and you not interested in getting the loot, we couldn’t have earned enough coins to purchase the tickets for the three movies,” Enos said gratefully.

Mark exited the dungeon while the adventurers headed to the second floor. He immediately returned to the RV since the sun was already setting and when he arrived there, he was flabbergasted to see that the golf cart resembled a tiny Millennium Falcon. He was truly impressed at the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the people from the circus since he was sure that the twins were able to create the design with their help.

The impressive part was he was only gone for around three hours and they were able to completely change the look of the golf cart.

Mark entered the RV and tucked Liriel in the main bedroom and soon, the twins entered as well and told Mark that they were sleepy so he tucked them in as well.

The Millennium Falcon golf cart was already plugged into the RV to recharge and then he saw Hamil coming in riding a golf cart as well that was being driven by Nedertu. Mark was surprised to see that the other circus leaders were still with him.

“Mark, I apologize for commandeering the television from Nedertu and Milena’s home. I showed my friends the trailer for the movies and they said that it would be better if the people outside could see it since it would draw a lot more audience and I remembered that you have a second RV.”

“That’s fine but please ask me next time.”

Hamil suddenly looked abash at Mark’s reaction since the circus leader knew that he might have crossed a line. Mark had been incredibly generous with them but it wasn’t right to assume that he could take Mark’s things without asking.  He apologized again profusely while Nedertu was looking amused.

“We might have to increase the size of the theater since a lot of people are now clamoring for us to do so!” Hamil said to Mark excitedly.

“I must say, those movies are truly revolutionary. If Madam Luzviminda didn’t show me how movies were made, I would assume that those were real stories happening somewhere,” One of the circus leaders said.

“Oh, you’ve seen one of Madam Luzviminda’s movies?” Mark smiled.

All the men laughed and Mark just shook his head. After that he went inside his RV to wait for the kids to wake up so they could eat dinner. Milena and her assistants were already cooking inside their RV.

After a couple of hours, the kids woke up and energetically ran outside the bedroom.

“Mark, Liriel kept telling us something but she just kept repeating your name!” Isaac said.

“She’s just telling you that we went inside the Novice Dungeon together with adventurers and she killed a lot of goblins using her wisp. She may even be stronger than you are right now,” Mark laughed and Liriel giggled.

“No fair!” Isaac shouted.

“Well, you did have your own adventure inside the Millennium Falcon golf cart.”

Aaron calmly nodded as if agreeing with Mark and he talked to his brother in their twin language which made Mark smile.

Milena and the other soon entered bringing the dinner they cooked with them and they enjoyed their delicious repast.

“Mark, can we eat cake? I miss them,” Aason suddenly asked after dinner so he replicated cakes for each of them based on their order.

Mark prepared a mocha cake for himself and a strawberry shortcake for Liriel. The twins both requested chocolate cakes and the Milena and the other two ladies ate some Red Velvet. Nedertu was the same as him and ordered a mocha cake.

The dessert was delicious especially paired with sodas. While they were eating, Mark asked Nedertu why nobody stopped him from entering the Novice Dungeon together with Liriel and the catman said that large cities wouldn’t care especially if the person were able to pay the entrance fee and that the child in question was the relative of the one who would like to enter.

“Do they only take my word for it?” Mark asked.

“Yes and if the child in question was not complaining. Of course, there were instances that the children were under a spell or not complaining because of fear but the portal guards usually wouldn’t dig deep and those who truly had nefarious ideas wouldn’t last long in cities since sooner or later, they would get entangled with the righteous religions that had paladins and such.”

Mark was a bit surprised but then again this was one of the signs that he was truly in another world.
