Delayed Transfer

Mark was watching the twins and their friends go to their RV so they could retrieve the two electric golf carts that were being charged there and he made himself remember that he would need to destroy the two RVs and replicate a new one to make sure that every part of their home was fresh and clean.

At first, he thought of doing it once a month but changed his mind to doing it every few days even though Nedertu already knew how to fill up the tank of gasoline with spare gallons of it that Mark replicated.

Mark didn’t want to bother anyone in making sure that the two RVs’ septic tanks were emptied. Such a dirty and degrading job was kind of humiliating and he knew that the circus people were basically experts in doing such things since they had been living on the road ever since he met them but asking others to clean up his mess was kind of embarrassing and since it would only take seconds for him to destroy the RVs and replicate a new one, he did that instead. Of course, they already had a system in place to make sure that the personal things of everyone weren’t destroyed.

Milena and the others appreciated the deed since they didn’t have to clean the RV. At first, he was also doing everyone’s laundry but he found it a bit of a bother so he taught Nedertu and Milena how to use the washer and dryer and Milena kept repeating that it was the best equipment that his country had ever invented.

Milena boasted to others about the washer and dryer so now they had a dedicated cart that the circus had made that contained nothing but four washers and four dryers connected to a couple of electric generators. Mark provided the gasolines for the generators and everyone in the circus was using it to wash their clothes.

Mark was informed by Nedertu that Hamil showed the washers and dryers carriage to the other circuses leaders as an added perk of being part of their circus and he knew that he would need to provide more washers and dryers to accommodate the added people.

He once asked the elven sisters that since washing clothes was bothersome, why wasn’t there some sort of spell or rune that would help with that tiresome chore? They did say there were but only mages and their friends could enjoy such benefits and since mages would not waste mana stone or their magical energy to wash everyone’s clothes, the circus people were grateful when Mark provided the washers and dryers.

That was also one of the reasons why he received such a huge percentage from the earnings of the theater and Yoda roller coaster and Milena was particularly gleeful at the amount of wealth that she was able to collect.

According to Milena, she needed to go to the coin changer in the city so they could change their coins to the highest currency which was diamond. Basically, the currency was iron, copper, silver, gold, and diamond which were coin-shaped diamonds that looked very beautiful to him. Mark asked why she didn’t exchange it for mana stones and Milena replied that no wizards would allow their mana stones to be exchanged for gold coins and even if somebody did, Milena wouldn’t do it since one bothersome characteristic of mana stones was they degrade over time. Even though the degradation would take hundreds of years, they still do degrade.

Mark was impressed though when he showed the soap powder and soap liquid that should be used to clean their clothes using the washer, he thought that he would be the one providing the soap and that he already had a plan in store where he would store a huge amount of liquid or powder detergent in a keg and replicate it for everyone weekly but then somebody invented it in a few hours and soon, they were able to have the necessary soap to make sure that their clothes were cleaned by using the washers and dryers. The inventor already invented several types of liquid detergents with different fragrances.

Mark, carrying the sleeping Liriel in his arms and Hamil riding his golf cart followed the children to the RVs but when they arrived there, the children were already gone with the golf carts. He wasn’t worried since he knew that one of his friends was watching the twins.

But soon, the customized golf carts and the army of children returned from somewhere. They stopped in front of Mark and the twins stepped down and ran towards him.

“Mark, can you give us five more spaceships? I mean electric carts?” The twins looked at him with hopeful eyes.

“No! That’s too much! Our RVs will not be able to charge that many carts at the same time! I’ll give you one more and that’s it,” The twins and their buddies cheered when they heard his answer so he replicated a golf cart while sighing. After that, the children began customizing the cart to look like a Star Wars spaceship.

Mark didn’t know where the kids got the cartons, boards, and paints that they were using to customize the carts and he didn’t bother to know.

“The twins knew you like the back of their hands. They used five carts so they could request one more from you,” Hamil laughed and Mark sighed again.

“Hamil, I’m interested in exploring the hardest dungeon in this city. Is there a high-level party that I could join to explore the Labyrinth of Cormantura? I would prefer if the exploration party is already in the deeper levels.”

“I’m sad to say that our adventurer party is not high-level enough for that and usually, powerful parties have their established members already and they are extremely wary of adding a person they didn’t know to their group especially if they’re planning to go deeper in the dungeon. The best thing that you can do is to create a party of your own and pay the person who was able to reach the deeper parts of the dungeon to open the dungeon gate for you. Why do you suddenly want to do that?” Hamil asked.

“I don’t know. I guess to challenge myself or something,” Mark replied.

Of course, Mark didn’t want to tell Hamil that he needed experience from high-level monsters to level up and become more powerful. It’s an intimate part of his magic system and other people don’t have to know.

“Do you want me to send out feelers?”

“Can you please? It doesn’t have to be soon. I’m also going to check out the other two dungeons and maybe even tour the novice dungeon together with the kids. Is it okay for me to allow them to level up in the dungeon? I’m kind of wary of letting the kids become more powerful early.”

“I’m not some pacifist who’s living in a delusion that this world is peaceful. This world is dangerous full of powerful monsters and If you can allow your family to become powerful early so they could defend themselves, I’m all for it.”

Mark thanked Hamil and decided to let the twins level up. He would collect powerful items from his dungeon so he could equip the twins. He was glad that his dungeon items were magical enough that they would conform to the size of the person who would wear them and he had collected enough rare items from the deeper floors that he was sure that once the people who wore those items set, would be powerful enough to defend themselves from a casual monster attacks especially if the said monsters were low level enough. He actually already had several mage and rogue sets that he collected from the twenty-fifth to the twenty-ninth floor of his dungeon. Curiously, he still didn’t receive items that he would consider that were specially made for heavy armor users.
