Delayed Transfer

“Mark you’re back! I’m hungry! Milena said that you will be the one providing our lunch today,” Isaac shouted when they saw Mark.

Then the kids saw that Mark was followed by several beautiful young women.

“Pretty sisters! Who are you?” Isaac curiously asked while Liriel ran towards Mark and behind his legs but kept on peeking at the beautiful young women.

The young ladies introduced themselves to the twins and asked them what they were playing.

“We’re playing Legos. It allows us to design spaceships and we can apply them in our spaceships outside,” Aaron said to the pretty ladies.

“What are spaceships?” One of the ladies asked.

The questions shocked the twins which almost made Mark laugh.

“They haven’t seen the Star Wars movies yet but they will watch them tomorrow,” Mark told the twins.

The twins then nodded their understanding.

“Ladies, can you join my siblings in their bid to make the best spaceship while I prepare our lunch? It shouldn’t take long. Do you ladies have food that you don’t eat and food that you prefer like seafood, beef, pork, or anything else for that matter?” Mark asked the ladies.

“No. Surprise us since that’s the main reason why we follow you,” Tunisha said.

The ladies then joined the twins and curiously looked at the Lego toy that the twins were assembling.

In the meantime, Mark went outside to prepare lunch for everyone but Liriel kept clinging on him so he didn’t have a choice but to allow the little girl to hug his neck. He asked Nedertu and his friends to set up an open-air tent and within a couple of minutes, the tent was set up. Nedertu and Milena were understanding enough to say that they wouldn’t join him and his guest for lunch and informed him that someone invited them. He whispered to them that he would make it up to them at a later time which only made Nedertu, Milena, and the others smile.

Mark then conjured a huge dining table and seats that would fit him, the twins, Liriel, and the ladies. To make the dining experience comfortable, he also replicated some electric fans that he connected to the RV and was a bit glad that the open-air tent was set up away from the view of the people who were roaming the circus.

After everything was set up, Mark began replicating the best food that was kept in his inventory. He was proud of his food because most of the things that he kept were prepared by famous Michelin Star chefs from Earth. He spent an ungodly amount of time and money to collect those.

Once the main dishes were prepared, he then replicated the most beautiful cakes and the most exotic flavored ice creams that he could conjure and when everything was set up, he was proud of himself for the food arrangement that he had done.

Mark then entered the RV and invited everyone outside to partake in the food that was prepared by him.

The beautiful ladies of Narcone were surprised when they saw the food that Mark had prepared for them.

“Wow Mark, the food looked delicious. I recognize some of them but I haven’t tasted some of the others!” Isaac said then he rushed towards one of the seats while Aaron joined him. Mark was still carrying Liriel who was peeking at the pretty ladies shyly.

Isaac also informed Mark that they had already washed their hands on the sink and that the pretty ladies joined them in washing their hands as well.

“Everyone, go ahead and eat. We don’t stand on ceremony when it comes to eating,” Mark said to the ladies.

While they were eating, Mark was busy describing the different types of food on the table including the different drinks that were on the bottles and pitchers. He also informed the ladies what the cakes and desserts were and soon everyone was busy eating.

The twins kept exclaiming that everything was delicious and even Liriel was eating healthily. One thing Mark could say was the pretty ladies knew how to eat elegantly and were impressed by their manners. He guessed noble ladies were different but then he remembered Natasha was a noble lady as well but she ate like a starving wolf but then again she was also a soldier.

Maybe the main reason why he was so attracted to Arissa was it had been too long since he had been with a girl since the last one was Natasha and sadly no one was inviting him to the city’s red light district. Of course, he wouldn’t go near Madam Luzviminda’s girls since everyone in the circus was his friends and even relatives.

“Mark, I’m impressed by your food even though it was made of ordinary materials and not magic animals or magical plants,” Arissa told him and Mark’s pride disappeared a bit.

That was a bit insensitive and Mark knew that Arissa was just a young woman but that comment decreased the young lady’s attractiveness to him.

He remembered that even though his dishes were superb and could be considered the best on Earth, the best food in this world was made out of magical animals and plants. The problem with those types of food was Mark could store them but wouldn’t be able to replicate them since he couldn’t replicate any items that had magical energy on them.

“I’m glad you enjoyed the lunch that I served,” Mark replied.

“Pretty sisters, do you want to watch Naruto with us?” Isaac suddenly said.

“What is Naruto?” Arissa asked Isaac.

“It’s an anime and we can watch it on our television inside our RV. Do you know that all the movies came from my brother? He’s a very powerful mage,” Isaac suddenly slapped his hand onto his mouth to stop himself from sharing more details.

Mark was glad that the boys remembered their talk about sharing information with circus outsiders.

“We can’t for now since we need to go to the university to attend the afternoon classes,” Arissa replied.

Mark could see that the twins were about to ask about the University but he told the boys that he would tell them about the university later since they also had to go visit the tailor to make sure that their costume would fit.

The ladies said their goodbyes to Mark and the children then they walked hastily out of the circus. Mark smiled at the thought that the ladies were already late and would probably receive reprimands from their teachers.

He wasn’t worried about not meeting Arissa again since she said that they would watch the movies in the castle tomorrow so that meant Mark would just accompany Hamil when he set up the theater there.

The twins were excited and kept urging Mark to finish cleaning up the table since they would need to go to the tailor so Mark cleaned everything up while laughing.

When everything was cleaned up, they left heading towards where the tailor was and Mark saw that Milena had already opened her stall.

“Mark, I thought your lady friends would choose to get an item from the stall?” Milena asked him when he and the twins passed.

“They rushed back towards the university and I’m guessing that they were already late,” Mark laughingly said and Milena just smiled.

After several minutes of walking, Mark, the twins, and Liriel arrived at the tailor’s when they entered the shop, the tailor immediately gathered the twins in the fitting room at the back so Mark and Liriel sat in the chairs inside the shop and waited for the twins and the tailor to finish.
