Chapter 16: Energy Infusion Methods
We, six, made our way to back to the class Jesica had originally been teaching us at.
The Elite Class students, us, were given multiple benefits, one of them was having the opportunity to be taught by Andrew Crimson a notoriously powerful hero who took on the role of headmaster at the Alesia Academy.
Being taught by him was a rarity among students so when he announced he along with Jesica were going to be the teachers for the Elite Class for the first-years it only furthered people fighting spirit.
Closing the door behind everyone I entered the room last and took a seat in the front after Andrew told the six of us to.
"Jesica has already informed me of some of you having exceptional talent and some of you possessing quite the peculiar talents, but all of you still hold a high potential and that's why you are in this class." Andrew, the headmaster, said.
The other students had not entered and it was only the six of us listening to what the headmaster said.
"For today I'll be focusing on teaching you all energy infusion. First, you'll practice infusing energy into your own body, secondly, we'll be infusing energy into other objects and moving or amplifying them. Lastly, we'll be practicing energy discharging." Andrew explained to us.
Taking a short pause Andrew spoke once more.
"To infuse energy in your body is the simplest and easiest to pick up. First you'll want to feel your energy and then concentrate it at a certain part in your body, then keep the energy there and that specific spot will be physical enhanced by your energy as long as the energy remains there, if the energy moves to a different spot then the spot will lose it's physical enhancement." Andrew then urged us to take a shot at it.
While Andrew was speaking he had been showing us an example as his fist broke multiple stone slabs which were all consecutively stacked up onto each other.
I followed the advice Andrew gave us and tried to concentrate my energy at my feet, only after around a whole minute of moving my energy did I finally feel ready and then I jumped up and shot up in the air like a arrow at top speed.
Hitting the roof of the classroom with a loud bang all my inertia stopped as I came falling down and landed on the wood desk as if I was a dead fly.
Everyone else had already learned the energy concentration mere seconds before me, luckily for them though they hadn't got the bright idea to put the energy into their legs and launch themselves like a rocket and hit the ceiling at top speed like I had.
"That would be an example of what not to do with your concentrated energy in a confined space." Andrew sarcastically said with a little chuckle.
I regained myself and slowly stood up before taking back to my seat whilst everyone watched me with faces holding in laughter, except for Floyd and Anastasia who were fully focused.
"What kind of special do you have to be to put your energy into their legs." Krill said in a mocking way as I walked past him.
I ignored his remark. He had been giving slight death glares when he and I were both admitted to the ten talents class, especially because I beat him. He didn't dare to give Anastasia any of his bad attitude, for obvious reasons, she's a princess.
"Now, all though it seems you six have all gotten used to concentrating your energy in one spot and moving it around to increase your physical abilities, I bet some of you can already see the flaws in it." Andrew leaned forward and looked at the six of us.
"It takes way too long to move my energy to the specific spot I want it to go." Jillton raised his hand and patiently waited for Andrew to call him out before stating.
"That's right. At your level of energy control it takes way too long to move it from place to place within your body and that's because of your energy heart and your imperfect meditation method, once you can master those two factors then this energy infusion with be crucial in battles...."
Andrew said.
"....That's why today we'll not be going further into this infusion method, but we will be learning about the other three before delving deeper into the complexity of each of them. With that being said the next energy infusion method is having to deal with infusing energy into objects."
Andrew then pulled out a small pocket knife and stabbed a stone slab. As expected the knife merely went right off the stone slab leaving not a mark, but then Andrew infused the knife with energy causing it to radiate a slightly red hue but this time the knife cut right through the stone slab like butter.
"This is what infusing energy into an object can do." He looked up at us. "To do this you have to be touching the object and then you must move your energy into the object. Once your energy is in the object it'll glow a specific hue based on one of your affinities."
"You try." Andrew said and then summoned six knife which all landed on our desks.
Grabbing the knife a stone slab, also summoned by Andrew, appeared the next second.
Feeling my energy I moved it towards the weapon and then into the weapon, but similarly to what happened with the body energy infusion, the object energy infusion took way too long to actually be considered practical.
Although it only took around a minute or two I finally had infused the knife with my energy and then I, too, cut through the stone slab like it was butter and I had a hot knife.
"You all are done now so tell me what the flaw with this method is?" Andrew asked.
"It's also too slow." Krill said.
"Yes, it is too slow. Both the body infusing method and object infusing method are too slow because your energy heart and meditation methods aren't high enough so you can't utilize either of the energy infusing approaches at a practical level." Andrew said.
"Then how about the last energy infusing method?" Clair asked with earnest curiosity.
"How about I show you then you can test it out and see for yourself." Andrew stated as he extended his arm and prepared to use energy discharging.
