Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Elysia
(A/N: I know some people might feel grossed out or uncomfortable about my male main character blushing so much in this chapter, but I need to remind you that my MC is just a high school boy and a virgin, with no experience in love or intimacy with the opposite sex. So, it's understandable for him to react this way around Elysia. Of course, my MC will gradually change throughout the story as part of his character development.)

"Hi, young man~ You seem to be struggling here~ How about letting this cute and beautiful girl help you?~" Elysia said as she approached Rozen, her dazzling smile lighting up her gorgeous face.
"Ah? Y-yes! I'm having a hard time. I've tried to break the Herrscher's barrier over and over, but I just can't do it," Rozen stammered, blushing as he answered her.
Don't blame him! This was the first time he had ever met someone as stunning as Elysia in real life! Even the actresses and idols from his previous world didn't come close to being as beautiful as her. And on top of that, she smiled at him, instantly captivating his heart!
So, it was perfectly natural for a young, inexperienced guy like him—who had never fallen in love or been close to any woman besides his mom and little sister—to react this way!
"Is that so~ Well, let's get it done now~ The sooner we finish this, the more people we can save~" Hearing that, Rozen snapped back to attention, immediately focusing all his concentration on the Herrscher in front of him.
Perhaps sensing the intense danger she was now in, the Herrscher's Honkai energy began to rise dramatically. This surge didn't escape the sharp eyes of either Elysia or Rozen.
We really need to finish this quickly. If we don't, this Herrscher might become even more dangerous than she already is.
Reaching that conclusion, Rozen took a deep breath, then opened his eyes sharply before rocketing toward the Herrscher at incredible speed.
At the same time, Elysia, who had been aiming at the Herrscher from the beginning, poured all of her Honkai energy into her attack. She knew this strike had to succeed—this was their only chance to take her down before she got serious and unleashed her full power.
Raising her bow high, Elysia released a powerful pink arrow, its intensity evident from the sheer density of Honkai energy radiating from it. Smiling sweetly, she said, "Please accept my feelings, okay?~"
The arrow shot forward in a straight line, leaving a beautiful pink trail in its wake. The Herrscher reacted immediately, deploying several layers of space barriers in front of her.
But her efforts were in vain. Every barrier she created shattered upon contact with Elysia's arrow, unable to withstand its overwhelming power.
Sensing the imminent danger, the Herrscher attempted to teleport away. Unfortunately for her, Elysia's arrow mysteriously followed her movements, as if imbued with a homing function similar to a military missile.
Just as the Herrscher prepared to teleport again, her body suddenly froze, shuddering violently. Rozen had somehow appeared behind her without her noticing.
"Die, Herrscher!!!" Rozen shouted as he drove his sword directly toward her heart.
His speed, far exceeding the Herrscher's ability to react, ensured the success of his attack. With the sickening sound of flesh being pierced and blood spurting out, Rozen's sword plunged deep into her heart.
"Cough, cough," the Herrscher sputtered, blood pouring from her mouth as her Honkai energy began to plummet. Rozen felt a wave of relief wash over him.
Finally, it's over. With this, the crisis is resolved.
Unfortunately for Rozen, his thoughts proved to be a flag. Just as he was about to sigh in relief, his instincts flared up violently, warning him of danger. Reacting instinctively, he leaped backward, distancing himself from the Herrscher.
His quick action turned out to be the right move. The moment he vacated his position, a massive cube materialized where he had been standing. It was one of the Herrscher of the Void's abilities—a Space Cube capable of trapping anyone caught inside it!
"That was close! Thank goodness I jumped away in time," Rozen muttered, patting his chest as he stared at the Space Cube with lingering fear in his eyes. He knew all too well that if he had been caught in the cube, his life would have been at the mercy of the Herrscher.
Perhaps sensing her impending demise, the Herrscher launched a desperate final assault, unleashing all her power on the two opponents before her.
As a result, Rozen and Elysia found themselves in a tough spot, struggling against a relentless barrage of attacks, including the Spear of Void and Space Cube.
Rozen swung his sword, slashing through an incoming spear and deflecting it with a single motion.
He then leaped high into the air, avoiding a cube that materialized at his previous position. Twisting his body midair, he narrowly dodged a space-tearing distortion—a black streak that sliced through everything in its path.
Spotting Elysia struggling nearby, Rozen landed beside her and quickly asked, "Let me help you."
"Thank you~" Elysia replied with a smile.
The two quickly coordinated their efforts. Rozen handled the incoming spears, while Elysia destroyed the cubes and the Honkai Beasts that swarmed them.
BANG!
"Crap!" Rozen exclaimed in frustration as his sword—a random steel weapon he had picked up earlier—finally shattered after repeatedly clashing against the Spear of Void.
Damn it! Why did it have to break now?!
He felt uneasy. Even though his body was at a superhuman level—enhanced to Captain America's strength and boosted several times over by Ittou Shura—he still didn't want to face the incoming attacks barehanded.
It's always better to have a weapon than fight empty-handed. I need a solution fast.
Then it hit him.
Right! I'll use that power!
With a plan in mind, Rozen quickly prepared to act, confident because he felt could access the ability using his cheat.
"Are you okay?" Elysia asked, turning to him with concern. She leaped away to dodge a cube that had appeared near her, then destroyed it with a precise shot from her arrow.
"I'm fine! Don't worry about me! Just focus on what you're dealing with right now!" Rozen shouted as he sprinted, dodging attacks with fluid movements.
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes briefly, then opened them with determination. Extending one hand forward, he declared, "Trace On!"
It was a well-known ability possessed by the main character Shirou Emiya from the Type-Moon series. A magical power called Projection Magecraft, which allows the user to project any weapon they understand and imagine.
[Notice. Visualizing a sword to materialize into reality using the accessed power of Projection Magecraft.]
In the next moment, with Great Sage's assistance, a magical light shimmered in Rozen's hand, transforming into a sleek black katana.
"It worked!" he grinned, gripping the sword tightly.
"Wow!~ Is that magic?~" Elysia exclaimed in awe as she caught sight of his feat. However, her distraction proved dangerous, as she failed to notice a Honkai Beast closing in on her, ready to strike.
"Careful!" Rozen reacted instantly, rushing to her side and pulling her out of harm's way.
BOOM!
"Ah! That was close!" Elysia gasped, patting her chest in relief. Turning to Rozen, she gave him a grateful smile. "If it wasn't for you, I might've gotten hurt~ I owe you again, Hero~" she said, blinking at him playfully.
Rozen blushed at her words and quickly coughed to regain composure, shaking his head. "It's nothing," he replied, reluctantly letting go of Elysia's soft, sweetly scented body.
Fortunately, both of them were strong and agile. Working together, they managed to dodge and destroy all the incoming attacks with their combined strength and coordination.
After several intense minutes, the onslaught finally ceased. Ahead of them lay the Herrscher, collapsed to the ground and lifeless.
"Is it over?" Rozen asked himself. After confirming no further attacks were incoming, he let out a deep sigh of relief.
Scanning the surroundings, he saw the destruction left in the Herrscher's wake—buildings reduced to rubble and debris scattered everywhere. The sheer devastation struck him deeply.
Herrschers truly are disasters capable of threatening humanity's survival if not dealt with immediately, he thought grimly.
"Fufu, it seems our teamwork was a success~ As expected from a duo consisting of a cute, beautiful girl and a hero~" Elysia remarked cheerfully as she approached Rozen, clapping her hands with a playful smile.
"Yeah... we did it."
"Hmm? What's wrong?~ Your face looks so gloomy~" Elysia asked curiously, her voice tinged with concern.
"Well, I-I just realized... I just killed someone. I know that when a girl transforms into a Herrscher, the person she once was is already gone. But still... I killed her," Rozen replied, staring at his trembling hands.
For some reason, he couldn't shake the feeling that his hands were stained with someone's blood. The thought weighed heavily on him, filling him with guilt and a deep sense of regret.
"I see. So, this was your first time killing someone," Elysia said, nodding in understanding. Then, without warning, she stepped forward and hugged him tightly. "Come here, yosh yosh~ Don't blame yourself~ It's not your fault, okay?~"
As he felt the warmth of her heavenly embrace and the soothing pats on his head, Rozen froze. His mind went blank, especially as he became keenly aware of two soft, large... distractions pressing against his head right now.
Am I in heaven right now? Ahh... What a soft and heavenly feeling this is! If only I could lie on this 'pillow' every single day!
Rozen, now fully aware, could only remain still and bask in the blissful embrace. After all, he thought, this might be his one and only chance to experience such beauty in this world.
After a few minutes, and feeling it was enough, Rozen finally separated himself from the heavenly hug.
"Are you feeling better now?~" Elysia asked. Rozen nodded, his cheeks slightly flushed in response.
"Fufu, that's good to hear~" Elysia covered her mouth with a hand, her expression suddenly turning teasing. "If you ever want me to hug you again, you can always ask~"
Though tempted by her offer, Rozen forced himself to think rationally and replied, "No, thank you."
"Alright, if you insist~ Sigh, I was being completely serious about offering it to you, you know~ Such a shame to see you turn it down just like that~" Elysia said, shaking her head with a look of pity.
Damn it, Rozen! Why did you reject her just now?! Ahhh!!! You really wasted such an amazing opportunity!!!
Rozen desperately wished he could turn back time a few seconds and slap himself on the spot.
Unfortunately, he still couldn't access time travel abilities; otherwise, he would have used them right away.
"Right!~ I need to report this to my organization first~ Wait here for a bit, okay?~" Elysia informed Rozen before taking out her phone and stepping aside to make a call.
Oh, that's right. If I'm not mistaken, Elysia is part of the Flame Chasers now. Hmm… Come to think of it, could someone like me, with no official identity, join them too?
[Answer. Positive. There is a high probability that an organization like the Flame Chasers would accept someone as strong as Master as a new member. It would be highly unlikely for them to pass up the opportunity, even if your identity is highly suspicious.]
Hearing Great Sage's explanation, Rozen found it reasonable. An organization tasked with dealing with the Honkai—a deadly calamity—would naturally prioritize recruiting powerful individuals capable of handling Honkai threats, especially Herrschers.
Thinking about it, Rozen felt a sense of relief and confidence. At last, he had a potential foothold in this new world.
However, his expression soon turned anxious as a certain eccentric individual crossed his mind—someone who was bound to cause him trouble.
I just hope Dr. Mobius doesn't want to experiment on me… though that's almost impossible considering the special powers I have now.
Even though Rozen knew that, with his current abilities, Dr. Mobius couldn't actually harm or endanger him, the thought of being treated as a test subject still left an unsettling feeling in his gut.
After about ten minutes, Elysia finally returned, her usual radiant smile lighting up her face. Yet, Rozen could sense that she had good news to share.
And as it turned out, he was right.
"I've finished my report~ Also, my organization is very interested in you and would like to invite you to join us. What do you say?~" Elysia said cheerfully while staring at him in expectation.
"Sure!" he nodded in agreement. Even without Elysia's expectant gaze, Rozen would have accepted the invitation without hesitation.
"Great!~ That means we'll be together all the time~" Elysia said with an ambiguous tone, causing Rozen to feel slightly embarrassed and wonder if she was teasing him on purpose.
"Ah! I forgot to properly introduce myself~ Even though I know you already recognize me, let me formally introduce myself to you~" Elysia facepalmed with an expression of sudden realization.
She then cleared her throat, adjusted her hair and outfit, and stepped forward with her hands clasped behind her back. Flashing a sweet and captivating smile at Rozen, she said, "Hi~ My name is Elysia~ the most beautiful and adorable girl in the world~ It's a pleasure to meet you~"
Seeing that enchanting smile once again, Rozen's heart skipped a beat, leaving him momentarily stunned. Fortunately, he quickly recovered and replied awkwardly, his cheeks still flushed, "I'm Rozen Itsuki. It's nice to meet you too, Elysia."
"Fufu~ You're so cute~"
