Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Omniversal Being?!
(Author's Note: From this point onward, we're entering a new volume/arc where the MC will embark on missions in the world of Frieren. This arc is planned to be quite extensive, spanning around 40-50 chapters—though I can't guarantee it! In essence, let's see how far I can go with this volume!
Also, this chapter contains a significant info dump for the world-building of my fanfiction. For more detailed explanations, feel free to check out the 'Verse and Dimension Wikia' website.)
Curious, Rozen immediately clicked the "Start" button. Instantly, the window in front of him expanded, displaying a wealth of information and various menu options.

"Woah… It even has my full details listed here," Rozen exclaimed in surprise. However, he couldn't help but feel puzzled when he noticed that his cheat abilities weren't recorded in the system.
Does this mean my cheat powers are higher and stronger than the Dimensional Guild itself? If that's the case, I really hit the jackpot!
A grin spread across his face as he once again felt immense gratitude and joy for the cheat abilities he had obtained.
But my cosmology order…
He paused, pondering the information.
I didn't expect there to be so many other Honkai cosmologies out there. But does this mean that the Dimensional Guild operates on an Omniversal rank since it can detect where my Honkai cosmology is positioned? This is incredible…
Rozen theorized that the Dimensional Guild he had stumbled upon wasn't just a Multiversal entity—it ranked on the Omniversal scale!
This conclusion stemmed from its ability to detect the exact sequence number of the Honkai cosmology Rozen inhabited. If the Guild were merely Multiversal, such a detection wouldn't be possible. After all, the Honkai cosmology itself already stood as a Multiversal-ranked structure, singular in its own domain.
In an Omniversal framework, however, the rules changed. The Omniverse was infinitely larger than the Multiverse, encompassing countless or even near-infinite Multiverses within it. It was the only explanation for such an advanced detection system.
"It's amazing! Unexpectedly, I got another cheat now! And this one is so powerful!" Rozen grinned with excitement, thrilled by this newfound ability that could help him grow stronger in no time.
However, his expression quickly shifted to a frown as he recalled novels and fanfics he had read about cheats like this—systems that often carried hidden purposes behind their sudden appearance.
As the saying goes, "There's no such thing as a free lunch," and Rozen couldn't deny the truth of that statement. It was a harsh reality of the world, after all.
Until I uncover the true purpose of this Dimensional Guild, I won't use it at all!
Resolving himself, Rozen immediately exited the system without utilizing its features.
Perhaps sensing its host's hesitation, the same robotic voice from earlier emerged, seemingly responding to Rozen's doubts.
[Ding! The Dimensional Guild's purpose is to gather members from various cosmologies across the Omniverse to unite and combat an impending threat that will bring about the destruction of the Omniverse!]
"What?! The Omniverse is going to be destroyed?! Oi, oi, don't joke with me!!!" Rozen exclaimed in disbelief, panic evident on his face.
[Ding! It's the truth! The host can access a memory file within the system to confirm this information. The file contains a message and memories from the creator of this system!]
Memory file? Creator?
With doubt etched across his face, Rozen hesitated to touch the beautiful shard of glass hovering before him. It was the extracted memory file the system had mentioned.
He feared it might not be what it seemed and could potentially be a trap. However, after contemplating for a few moments, he decided to take the risk. After all, if this really were a trap, why hadn't the system ensnared or harmed him while he was asleep earlier?
Of course, before reaching for the shard, Rozen ensured Great Sage was prepared to implement countermeasures in case the situation turned unfavorable. Although he was aware that such precautions were likely futile against something of an Omniversal nature, he couldn't help but feel a sense of reassurance.
Then, with full caution, Rozen grabbed the memory shard. The moment his hand made contact with it, an unknown memory suddenly flooded into his mind.
His consciousness blanked out entirely as he became fully immersed in the contents of the memory.
Rozen found himself witnessing a battle beyond human comprehension—a cosmic war unlike any other. But it wasn't merely a war of universes; it was a cosmic clash between Omniversal Beings!
Each of these entities possessed mass and size far surpassing that of entire universes—even multiverses. They were immeasurable existences that broke the boundaries of logic and shattered paradoxes. Concepts like infinity and eternity were inherent aspects of their nature.
Cosmology after cosmology was hurled like weapons, entire realities being flung across the vast expanse to annihilate their foes. Yet, despite the devastating destruction, it was all futile—in the very next instant, every fragment would regenerate, fully restored as if nothing had occurred.
The sheer number of cosmologies obliterated and the duration of this battle were impossible to quantify. For beings of such magnitude, time itself held no relevance. But what Rozen understood was this: every participant in that war lost—including the creator of the Dimensional Guild.
Defeat, however, didn't mean death or erasure. Beings of their caliber lacked the concept of mortality. Instead, they would eventually be reborn, though the process would take eons beyond reckoning. Only through sealing could such entities be subdued.
And that's exactly what happened.
Amidst the chaos, a mysterious figure appeared. Clad in a black suit with a featureless head, their "face" resembled the vastness of the cosmos itself—a living starfield.
The entity introduced himself as Hyper-Man, the self-proclaimed Maintainer of the Omniverse.
At first, the other Omniversal Beings dismissed him with disdain, mocking his claims. But in the blink of an eye, Hyper-Man defeated them all, one by one. Each Omniversal Being was sealed away for eternity by Hyper-Man's overwhelming power.
The creator of the Dimensional Guild, a being aligned with Order, acted swiftly in response. Knowing that their Omniverse was already on the brink of collapse, they created the Dimensional Guild as a last-ditch effort to protect what remained. Without their presence, the Omniverse would fall to absolute destruction.
In addition to the Guild, the creator left behind a Seed of Transcendence, an essence of authority and power capable of elevating Rozen into an Omniversal Being once he accumulated enough power and authority.
When Rozen finally snapped out of the immersive memory, he collapsed to his knees in shock. His eyes were wide, his jaw hung open, and his heart was in turmoil from the sheer enormity of what he had witnessed.
"A-A Seed of 'Transcendence'? M-me? This has to be a dream, right?"
He slapped his own face hard, the stinging pain grounding him in reality. Instead of crying out, a wide grin spread across his face as excitement bubbled up inside him.
"Ahaha... Hahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" His laughter grew louder, echoing through the room.
"HAHAHAHA!!! I'VE BEEN GIVEN THE MOST AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!! AHHAHAHAHAHA I'M SO HAPPY! SO DAMN HAPPY!!!"
Pure, unfiltered joy erupted from Rozen like a volcano. The overwhelming happiness made him feel as though he might lose his mind entirely.
But he didn't care.
In this moment, Rozen knew—this was the luckiest, most extraordinary, and happiest moment of his life.
An hour later, Rozen finally calmed down from his overwhelming excitement, though the joy was still evident on his face, radiating a sense of pure satisfaction.
"Alright! In that case, I'll start using you from now on!" Rozen exclaimed enthusiastically, eager to grow stronger as quickly as possible. He immediately reactivated the Dimensional Guild system but was soon left scratching his head in confusion.
"So, uh, how exactly do I use this thing?" he asked, both curious and puzzled.
[Ding! The Host must invite 3 members from randomly selected cosmologies. The Host and the members will then undertake a mission in another randomly assigned cosmology. This mission will involve influencing the core destiny of that cosmology, requiring the Host and the members to intervene and create an impact on its fate. Upon successful completion, the cosmology can be anchored to the Dimensional Guild.]
"Anchored? Will the cosmology be okay after being anchored?"
[Ding! Rest assured, Host! Anchoring a cosmology will not have any adverse effects. In fact, anchoring a cosmology will protect it from the potential consequences of the Omniverse's destruction!]
Hearing this, Rozen felt relieved. "So that's how it works... That's good to know. By the way, is my cosmology anchored? Hmm, it doesn't seem like it is, since I don't see the Honkai cosmology listed among the anchored ones."
[Ding! The Host is correct! Would the Host like to anchor it now?]
"Of course!"
[Ding! Request approved! Initiating anchoring process...]
At the same time, the perspective shifts to a vast, empty void. The scene reveals countless "stars," scattered endlessly across the space. But upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that each "star" represents an entire Cosmology—a boundless realm of existence.
These "stars" vary greatly in size; some are extraordinarily small, while others are unimaginably vast, reflecting the differing scales of each cosmology.
Now, imagine a Transcendent Being wandering freely beyond the confines of its own cosmology. If it happens to pass through a specific region, it might witness something unusual—a massive "star," one of the largest cosmologies, beginning to move. At first, it shifts slowly, but it soon accelerates and vanishes, leaving the void in silence.
This colossal cosmology is none other than the Honkai Cosmology, where Rozen resides. Its disappearance is caused by the Dimensional Guild, which pulls and anchors it into a special dimension within the Omniverse—the very domain where the guild operates.
As the Honkai Cosmology is anchored within this special dimension, the previously empty and chaotic space transforms. A once desolate void, inhabited only by a floating island at its center, is illuminated by the presence of this cosmology, becoming the "first star" to grace the dimension.
Meanwhile, back to Rozen...
Time passes uneventfully, until a sudden flash of light bursts outside his room. The brilliance leaves him momentarily stunned, but as it fades, a robotic voice echoes in his mind.
[Ding! Cosmology successfully anchored! Please view more information about the anchored Cosmology by selecting the info button below.]
Rozen, however, ignores the system's prompt and immediately rushes outside. The moment he steps out, his eyes widen in awe.
Before him floats an enormous "star," so vast it fills his entire field of vision. Its beauty is unparalleled—radiant, intricate, and utterly captivating.
"Oh my God... This is absolutely stunning," Rozen exclaims, unable to tear his eyes away from the most breathtaking sight he has ever witnessed.
After a few moments, he manages to shake off his amazement and refocuses, following the system's guidance.
The first thing he does is review detailed information about the Honkai Cosmology. Various details appear before him—its type, unique traits, and core destiny. One particular feature catches his eye: a menu option labeled "Akashic Store," which supposedly allows him to purchase anything within the anchored cosmology.
But there's a problem.
"Why can't I buy anything, system?!" Rozen asks, frustration creeping into his voice.
[Ding! Host cannot make purchases because you have only anchored your Cosmology. To unlock purchasing privileges, you must first establish your authority within the Cosmology by participating in its Core Destiny events.]
Core Destiny? Curious, Rozen presses further. "Alright, system, what's the Core Destiny of the Honkai Cosmology?"
[Ding! The Core Destiny of the Honkai Cosmology is to conquer the Imaginary Tree and the Quantum Sea, thereby becoming the sole ruler of the Honkai Cosmology!]
"Dafuq?! That's absurdly difficult—nearly impossible! How am I supposed to accomplish something like that? If the system meant to make me strong quickly, why would it lock the very feature that could help me achieve that behind such a ridiculous challenge?"
[Ding! Host can unlock partial access to the Akashic Store by establishing your authority within the various verses of the Honkai Cosmology. Once a verse is stabilized, you will be able to make purchases specific to that verse.]
"So, you're saying that if I save the world line I'm currently in, I'll gain access to that world line's resources?"
[Ding! Correct, Host.]
"Alright, that makes things easier, at least. Though saving this world line still feels like an enormous task with my current strength."
Rozen exhales a sigh of relief. The situation may be challenging, but it's not entirely hopeless.
"Alright, system, that's all I needed to know. Now, send the invitations to the three members immediately! I want to start the mission as soon as possible!"
[Ding! Command accepted! Sending invitations to 'The Void'...]
