- It's been decades since our guardian contacted us... - tears flowed from the eyes of the giant in armour.

The others expressed the same feelings as they looked at the mountain, the top of which was lit up in bright flames, illuminating the entire village.

Eros' forehead was covered with large beads of sweat, from the pressure that came from the flames. Even Gildarts was just a small, unskilled child compared to him. The creature that emitted the flames was dozens of times stronger than Eros. This both scared him and made him nervous, because if he had to fight it, he would only lose if he didn't use dark magic power. But he so didn't want to do that...

- Young Titan, come to me...

A shiver ran through Eros after the words the creature uttered.

"FROM WHERE?!"- The giants looked at Eros in surprise.

- You're too small to be a Titan," the armour-clad man frowned slightly, "But if those were the words of the guardian, then..." a wide smile appeared on his lips, "Welcome home.

- Really? - Eros was slightly taken aback.

- 'Yes,' he said in a more serious voice, 'Go, our guardian is calling you, and when you're done, invite your friends who are hiding a kilometre away from the village.

"Now that was unexpected, well..."- The titan closed his eyes and just in case began to concentrate his last trump card in the area of his chest, to be ready for battle at any moment.

- Get in, cub," he said, lowering his arm.

Eros looked around the village with interest, standing on the giant's shoulder as he approached the mountain rather quickly.

Not even ten minutes later, they had left the village and were already approaching their destination. From afar, Eros saw the silhouettes of two more giants kneeling in front of the flames.

A giant in armour ran up to them and slapped both of them on the head.

- You are supposed to guard our guardian so that no outsider can disturb him, but you are standing with your backs to the only entrance, are you looking for death?! - He roared and struck the offenders again, -And if I were the enemy? You'd be lying here dead by now!

- Forgive us, Mr Kronos! - Lowering their heads, both warriors said in a guilty voice and began to look at the man on his shoulder with interest, - And who is this?

- He's the same titan, but he's just not tall enough," the giant shrugged his shoulders, making Eros gasp for air as he looked at him with indignation.

"My height is fine!"- I wanted to contradict him, but decided to keep silent.

- Go on, you're the only one the guardian called, but we're not allowed to cross that line," Kronos said with a touch of envy as he lowered Eros down.

- Aha, thank you for bringing me, - he nodded and went forward, bypassing both giants, he came to a clear clearing, on which stood a large stone altar, on which the same flame was burning.

- Hello again young titan, - the voice coming from the flame was quite rough and filled with pride, it smelled of something ancient and powerful, - We have met again after four hundred years, - the flame suddenly began to grow taking the form of a large fiery beast with four limbs. It was as tall as a giant.

- Again... after four hundred years...? - I'm only thirteen, when could I have met you?

- Don't joke with me, - the titan frowned, - I have never seen a creature stronger than you in my life, and who would think of attacking you?

- Anything can happen," the creature said quietly, "At least two creatures would have no trouble defeating me. The first is the Dragon of Calamity Acnologia and the Black Mage Zeref.

- Okay, but why would those two attack you?

- Then let me introduce myself, I am the Dragon of Fire, the Fire Atlantean, the Dragon Protector of this village.

Eros froze and stared with shock at the burning flames that took on a more distinct shape, more like a dragon.

- So there are still survivors of the massacre that Acnologia caused," whispered the titan, who could not calm down, for before him stood one of the wisest, strongest and fiercest creatures.

- So you know what happened then," he said in surprise.

- No, not exactly, I've only found small facts, I've read many books and put them all together to come to this conclusion, but after your answer I'm now 100 per cent sure of it.

- Since that's the case, I have one favour to ask of you.

Three days passed, but Eros could not get the strange words of the dragon out of his head: "One day you will have a choice to kill or pardon, don't do something you will regret for the rest of your life". The titan understood the meaning of the words, but who should he kill or pardon? And the dragon refused to explain in detail, because then the future might change, because he had already said so much.

But still there was one pleasant thing, it was the dumbfounded faces of Rick and Roni when they saw the dragon and learnt that he would become their teacher. It was a memory that would warm his heart for a long time to come, on dark autumn evenings.

Eros had nothing to do in the village, so he continued his development towards runes while the two fire mages learnt. Atlante said it would take at least a year, if not more, so Eros had no choice but to stay in the Village of the Sun.

The Titan also continued to train Kagura and learnt through ritual that she had a talent for gravity magic. His demonic form was strong in this magic and he was able to gain almost complete knowledge in its use, with the help of which Eros slowly trained the girl. He had also discovered a talent with cold weapons, but it was a pity that the dagger was not suitable for her and after trying all kinds of weapons, they decided on a katana, which was forged by one of the giants.

Eros trained her in gravity magic, while one of the Titans Eros had asked to help trained Kagura in the use of the katana. Still, they are masters at fighting using physical strength and the basics they could definitely teach her. And with Eros, they had sparring sessions where one used a dagger and the other a katana.He also taught her how to use gravity magic properly, so that she wouldn't be affected by it and would be able to use it more effectively in battle.

And so it went on for almost a year...
