Chapter 62: Chapter 24: Discussion
The Omni King, driven by his relentless pursuit of Kanji's demise, summoned Cosmos Warriors from diverse worlds and realms. These warriors were called forth to confront Kanji, a task ordained by the very being who sought his destruction.
Each warrior, hailing from planets and galaxies far and wide, stood ready to obey the command of their summoner. Their individual powers and strengths varied, reflecting the unique and vast array of beings that made up the Omni King's army.
In the heavenly realm, the Master of the Seraphim Angels, known as Luminous, found herself in conversation with the mighty Goddess of Angels, Angela. The discussion centered around the recent actions of Zyqnax.
Luminous, her voice tinted with a mix of annoyance and concern, spoke to Angela about the situation. "Zyqnax has once again run away to you," she said, her tone slightly exasperated. "It seems she is not content with staying put."
Angela, the Goddess of Angels, responded to Luminous with a sly smile, her eyes gleaming mischievously. Her tone held a hint of amusement as she spoke, suggesting that she found some humor in the situation.
"Hush, Luminous," Angela replied, her voice carrying a hint of playfulness. "Let the young ones explore and discover their own paths. Zyqnax will return in time."
Luminous, still engaged in a discussion with Angela, was about to protest when the sudden appearance of a black portal interrupted her. From its depths emerged Zyqnax, her eyes filled with tears and a deep shade of red. In her arms, she clutched the head of Estelle, her expression filled with both sadness and determination.
Luminous, taken aback by Zyqnax's unexpected arrival and the sight of Estelle's head, fell silent, her words catching in her throat.
Angela, her smile widening, observed the scene with a sense of satisfaction. Her plan had unfolded as intended, and her machinations were bearing fruit. She had sent Estelle, without letting her know Kanji's true ability, to face him.
With a sense of control, Angela spoke, her voice laced with a hint of arrogance. "Every angels rage towards Kanji is unfaltering," she mused, referring to the unwavering animosity angels harbored against Kanji.
Zyqnax, her eyes filled with rage and determination, fell to her knees before Angela. Her desire to exact revenge on her master, Kanji, consumed her. The sight of Estelle's head clutched in her arms fueled her anger even further. With a mixture of fury and submission, Zyqnax spoke to Angela, her voice quivering but resolute.
"I pledge my loyalty to you, Angela," Zyqnax declared, her voice filled with a mix of defiance and determination. "I will serve you, and in return, I shall kill my master, Kanji."
With a wicked smile playing on her lips, Angela proclaimed Zyqnax as the only Black Knight of the heavenly realm. The title itself held a sense of darkness and power, signifying Zyqnax's new role as a servant in Angela's army.
"Arise, Zyqnax," Angela commanded, her voice filled with a sinister authority. "You shall henceforth be known as the only Black Knight of Heaven. Your loyalty and strength will be tested, but the rewards will be beyond measure."
Zyqnax, still on her knees, felt the weight of her new title as she stood up. The Black Knight of Heaven, a role that held immense power and responsibility. She knew that her loyalty and strength would be put to the test, but the prospect of revenge against Kanji fueled her determination.
With a steely gaze, Zyqnax spoke, her voice now more resolute than ever. "I accept the title of Black Knight of Heaven," she declared, her tone laced with both determination and the weight of her newfound role.
Angela, having ascended into the Celestial Realm of Omni King, now stood before him face-to-face. Instead of addressing him by his title, she called him by his true name, "Hizade." The mention of his real name carried a sense of familiarity and power, hinting at a long-standing connection between them.
"Hizade," Angela spoke, her voice filled with a mix of respect and authority. "We need to discuss current events."
Hizade, a smirk on his face, inquired about the status of the hunt for Kanji, dubbed the "Demon of Battle." A hint of arrogance laced his voice as he believed that the task was undoubtedly accomplished, given the formidable opponents he had dispatched.
"How fares the hunt for Kanji?" he inquired, a touch of confidence in his tone. "I presume you have news of success, considering the adversaries I sent?"
Angela, sighing at Hizade's arrogance, responded to his query with a slight huff. Her tone held a hint of disappointment and irritation.
"The hunt for Kanji has proven to be more challenging than you anticipated," she said, speaking with a mixture of frustration and resignation. "Your chosen adversaries, the Cosmos Warriors, were not enough to overcome him. They have failed in their task."
Kanji, back at the Zhīshān Mountain temple, approached Zero and Kiana. Concern etched across his face, he inquired about Zyqnax's whereabouts. The weight of recent events and the uncertainty about Zyqnax's location was heavy on his mind.
"Where is Zyqnax?" Kanji asked, his voice tinged with worry. "I haven't seen her since the previous confrontation. Do you know where she is now?"
Zero, interrupting Kiana, decided to recount the entire truth to Kanji. With a solemn tone, he revealed that Zyqnax had betrayed him and joined forces with Angela. The betrayal was driven by Zyqnax's intense hatred towards Kanji, and her goal was now to kill him.
"Zyqnax has chosen a different path," Zero said, his words carrying a mixture of sadness and resignation. "In her rage, she has sided with Angela, and her intention is to end your life."
Kanji stood in a moment of silence as the gravity of Zero's words sank in. The revelation that Zyqnax, once someone he trusted, had betrayed him and sought his demise was a heavy blow. His mind swirled with a mix of emotions: disappointment, anger, and perhaps even a tinge of sadness.
With a pensive expression, Kanji finally mustered a response to Zero. "I see," he said, his voice betraying a hint of resignation. "So Zyqnax has chosen this path, huh?"
Despite the betrayal, Kanji's response surprised both Zero and Kiana. Instead of expressing anger or betrayal, he gave a slight smile and sighed. Then, with a firm tone, he issued a directive.
"Do not harm her," Kanji instructed, his voice filled with a mixture of resignation and determination. "I don't want either of you to come between us. Let us see how this unfolds and what transpires from her actions."
After giving his instructions to Zero and Kiana, Kanji turned to leave, his footsteps echoing through the quiet temple. It was clear that he had accepted Zyqnax's betrayal and intended to let matters play out on their own. The future was uncertain, but Kanji's resignation seemed to suggest acceptance of what was to come.
Zero, his expression hardening, spoke to Kiana with resolute determination. He believed that killing Zyqnax was the necessary course of action.
"Kiana," Zero began, his voice filled with gravity. "We must kill her. She has betrayed our master and aligned herself with Angela. Her intentions are clear. We cannot afford to let her continue down this path."
Kiana's frustration was evident as she confronted Zero about his callousness. "You have no heart," Kiana retorted, her voice laced with anger. "You would never understand big sister Zyqnax."
She couldn't bear the thought of taking action against someone she held dear.
Kiana, her eyes filled with determination, explained the significance of Zyqnax's position as Kanji's first disciple. Her words carried a hint of empathy.
"You don't understand," Kiana insisted, her voice firm but tinged with sadness. "Big sister Zyqnax was Kanji's first disciple. This isn't just about us it's a personal matter. We can't simply decide to kill her without understanding the depth of their relationship."
Despite his reservations about not taking action against Zyqnax, Zero reluctantly acquiesced to Kiana's plea. He knew that going against Kanji's orders was not an option.
"Fine," Zero conceded, his voice betraying a hint of resignation. "Since Kanji has given his order, we shall abide by it. We will not take any actions against Zyqnax, for it goes against our master's wishes."
