Living a Lazy Life in the Beast World!

Chapter 6: Transmigrated Into Beasts World

The giant snake was stunned at the unexpected sight of the female fainting in front of him.

"Hissss-."

Although he had anticipated a reaction, fainting after seeing him was not among them. He had no idea what to do. He only wanted to look at her from the shadows, but he didn't expect the branch to break and fall off, revealing himself.

"Hiss!?"

His golden pupils watched the unconscious female with uncertainty, contemplating what to do. He narrowed his eyes, realizing that this was a wonderful opportunity to take her away and make her his mate.

Suddenly, the giant snake disappeared from its place and what remained was a strange man wearing minimal clothes that only managed to hide the parts that shouldn't be seen.

He stepped forward and effortlessly carried the unconscious female on his shoulder, not forgetting to pick her things as he moved away from the place.

As the man carried the female and walked away, he had a slight frown on his face. He didn't expect the female to be so light and small. He couldn't figure out how this female, with such a weak body had managed to survive for so long in this dangerous forests.

'I have to fatten her up,' he thought anxiously.

Before the sun sets, he moved swiftly through the woods, crossing a pine forest, a giant bridge and several rivers before reaching his destination. Even with an extra baggage on him, walking and running for so long didn't affect his breathing.

His cave, was situated at the top of a large waterfall, where the constant noise of the water filled the air with a deafening roar. And due to it, the cave was usually damp and cold.

The strange man ignored his messy cave and hurriedly put down the female. Worried that she would be uncomfortable on the chilly ground, he consciously placed an animal hide beneath her.

He glanced at her exposed skin and expressionlessly picked up another clothe to cover it up. He appeared calm, but the redness at the tips of his ears betrayed him.

After lighting up a small fire to warm her, he stood up and walked out. After an hour of his absence, the unconscious female in the cave woke up with a start.

"Ahh!"

Daisy had a nightmare. In her dream, a huge snake the size of a truck was chasing her. Without a second thought, she rushed to the nearest police station, but as soon as she turned to look behind her, the snake sucked her up with its wide mouth!

It frightened her so much that she woke up with a scream. But, she was not in the snake's belly as she had imagined?

Confused, she glanced around before focusing on the odd-looking bedsheet and finally recognizing that it was an animal skin and that she was in what seems to be a cave.

Did someone save her?

A series of hurried footsteps interrupted her thoughts and she suddenly saw a tall shadowy figure at the cave's entrance. Scared and wary, she slowly crawled backwards, until her back reached the damp walls of the cave.

"Hello, are you the one who saved me?" She cautiously asked. The human-like figure stopped moving before she heard a hoarse voice, "Yes."

Hearing the figure speak, Daisy was ecstatic. Her emotions immediately shifted from fear and wariness to relief and happiness.

"Thank you, sir! Do you know where we are? Is this your house? Can I know your good name? Are there others like us?! Is this a village?" She bombarded the figure with question after questions.

She was so excited to meet an inhabitant of this foreign place that she didn't notice the language she spoke was not from Earth.

The shadowy figure set down the dead prey it was carrying and threw wood onto the nearly extinguished fire. Slowly, the dimly lit cave became more visible as the fire burned with renewed vigor.

Now Daisy could see the figure more clearly. Her eyes widened like saucers, shock evident on her face.

The man crouching nearby the fire had short black hair that resembled the night sky, golden pupils that shimmered like gold. His pale and smooth skin could rival hers, he had full red lips and sharp eyebrows that gave him a permanent mean expression.

What especially frightened her was the small devil like horns on his head. In addition to the bloodstains on his body, he appeared sinister and unreal.

Daisy could almost sense the overwhelming aura of danger and aggression from him. She immediately panicked.

Was she in hell by chance?!

She saw the devil approaching her, frightening the weak soul out of the body. "You- you...am I dead?" Tears instantly pooled in her eyes, so the snake had eaten her!

The devil was taken aback. She saw his beautiful lips move, and a mesmerising voice came out. "Don't be afraid, female. You are safe with me. I apologize for my actions earlier, I didn't mean to scare you."

Confused and dizzy with fear, Daisy instinctively questioned, "what do you mean?" The man paused and calmly responded, "I just wanted to watch you. I did not expect the branches to break and fall. Sorry for scaring you."

Daisy was still confused.

Observe her? Tree branch? He fell?

Her teary eyes widened as if she realized a horrifying yet shocking thing.

"ARE YOU THAT SNAKE?!!"

The man was startled by her cry. He nodded with confusion plastered on his face, "yes." He continued softly, "you can call me Leif. I wonder what tribe are you from. Are you-perhaps from the peacock tribe?"

According to his observations, the female clearly preferred to be clean and neat, as the females of the peacock tribe. Especially when he saw her making beautiful dresses, he was half sure of his guess.

Only females from the peacock and mermaid tribes value cleanliness and beauty.

Daisy's thoughts were messy. As a modern woman who enjoyed reading novels during her breaks, she was not unfamiliar with her current situation.

Did she transmigrate into the legendary beast World?!
