My Own Dragon Girl

With a loud screech the creature started sprinting towards him, not taking long to close the gap in distance between them. Bringing one of its arms down towards him without any hesitation the moment it reaches him.

No! Why can't I force myself to move God damn it!!!

Slash!! It's claws slashed right across his chest and within another motion it hit him and sent him flying across the cold concrete.

Crash!!! Thud!!! Nori felt the pain jolt throughout his whole body as he looked down to see his own blood on the ground. He lifted his hand to see it was covered.

This is all happening to me right now, it's not some figment of my imagination. The pain I feel throughout my body is definitely real and I don't know what to do.

My own blood is all around me and I know something is definitely broken after getting hit like that. Yeah, my left arm isn't capable of moving anymore.

The creature made its way towards him once more but this time Nori knew he couldn't just sit there on the ground.

Does knowing how to fight even help me against this thing? The type of fighting I was training to use wasn't even something I'd expect to use against some monster.

Can I even stop this thing? No, who am I kidding. I'm going to die here, I'm going to die knowing that I wasn't capable of stopping anything.

Who in their right mind would just throw someone into this without any sort of preparation. Aki is kind of cruel for doing this to me, but Rika also let it happen.

Slam! He slams down his good hand as he forced himself to stand back up. "I may not have a clue on how to stop you, but I won't just lay here and die!" Nori shouts while staring at the monster before him.

Power within me is dormant, or at least that's what I'm told. It was awakened but I don't have any idea on how to use it or what can be done with it.

"Raaaaa!" The creature roared as it approached.

An interesting thing to hear from such a creature but it doesn't change anything here. I'm absolutely terrified about dying here today but if I just let it consume me then I'll never get anywhere.

Drip. Drip. Blood continues to drip onto the ground as Nori stands there, waiting for his enemy to get close enough to strike.

Not much longer till it's within punching range, better off giving it a shot at least right?

"Here goes nothing." Nori says as it finally stands before him.

It began to move it's arm for an attack as Nori also winded up to punch. "Ahhh!!!" Nori begins to shout as he brings his fist towards it.

Pow!!!!!! His hand connects with the monsters as a small shockwave is produced from the impact. Burst!!! The creatures hand explodes and blood begins to spray from where it once was.

Did I really just do that? I couldn't have done that right? I didn't feel any different when I connected with the creatures hand so what exactly happened?

It let out roars of pain as it began to use its other arms to attack, bringing in a flurry of blows to keep Nori from doing anymore damage.

I don't think I'll survive this after all, I guess that thought never did change.

He couldn't dodge the attacks as he took each hit from the monster until it finally hit him with one last attack that sent him into the side of a building. Crash!!!!!!

Crumble. Crumble. Parts of the building could be heard falling onto the ground as Nori looked down himself.

Everything was getting darker around me, was this death? I should've expected that it would use it's other arms to attack me but I don't know much about these things.

I've never fought anyone before, yet alone some giant monster. It was pretty awesome to see what I did to its arm before so why couldn't I do anything else?

Thump. Thump.

Why couldn't I see the attacks? Am I going to die like other prophets who couldn't use their powers? Why else would they basically be extinct!!

Thump. Thump. Thump. His heartbeat began to get faster and faster as a strange feeling went throughout his body.

I barely remember much about my parents you know, why couldn't they tell me if they were this prophet or Grandpa even! At least I'd have been warned about it so that this wasn't so damn insane.

A puddle of his own blood was all around him as it began to cloud his vision.

Fighting to save the world is pretty lame in my opinion but they came to me and brought me here. I don't want to disappoint anyone and I sure as hell don't want anyone to die.

My other arm is somehow still working so I'm not done here by any means, get up Nori. Get up!!

He slowly starts to stand up as his legs tremble and his body shakes, the damage that was done is clear. He was definitely quite injured but this wasn't something he wanted to let stop him.

I can barely see the creature with this blood in my eyes but it won't stop me from stopping it this time. I know I've just started this journey so I don't want it to end any time soon.

Even if I'm terrified of what's to come of me and anything else that I fight going forward.

It approached within moments, they were face to face once again. The creature already started to go in for its attack as Nori stood there patiently.

I can feel my heart racing like crazy, what exactly is this feeling? I'm terrified, yet I'm also ready to fight. There's also a strange feeling going throughout my whole body.

He quickly brings up his fist once more to fight back against the creature as they connect once again. This time the creature wasn't taking chances so it used its other arms to attack as well.

Burst!!!! Burst!!!! Nori punched right through its hand and immediately went towards one of the other ones.

This feeling is crazy but it's enough to give me what I need to fight against this thing right? Is this part of my power?
