"Hey, stop crying already."

After confirming that Jack had no killing intent, Master relaxed and pulled out a tissue from his pocket to comfort Rim.

Rim speculated, holding his torch defensively as he and Jack stepped back. Neither had any idea what Master's glowing body signified, but it was better to stay cautious. Thankfully, the glow soon faded, and Master, under their wary gazes, slowly approached.

"Huh? Is that…?"

Not only Rim but even Jack noticed something different about Master.

The unpleasant smell was gone. The dust on his clothes had vanished. Under the duo's vigilant eyes, Master covered his mouth and smiled sweetly.

"Heh."

The smile's impact was devastating. Even Jack's heart skipped a beat, and Rim's nose started bleeding. But as Jack recalled Rim's earlier confession and glanced at Master's prominent Adam's apple, clarity returned, followed by a wave of nausea.

As Master continued to smile, Jack pulled out his spiked club, glanced at Rim—who was practically drooling—and then at the awkward tightness in Rim's pants. Jack fell into silent contemplation.

Forget it…

"Hey! You two, how about we strike a deal?" Master's gaze, locked onto the golden-haired, blue-eyed Rim, didn't even spare Jack a glance.

Rim remained silent, staring at Master in a daze.

"Phew…" Jack grumbled, glancing over at Holdem, who was flirting with a group of beautiful women. Irritated, he shouted, "Rim! What the hell are you doing?! Your eyes are practically sparkling! He's a man! A man!"

Jack's outburst snapped Rim back to reality, but Master, visibly annoyed, shot Jack a glare.

"What's your problem? So what if I am a man?"

What's my problem?! Are you serious?! The heavens gave you a stick, and you're using it to stir… never mind!

Before Jack could retort, Master turned to Rim.

"Are you suffering from a serious illness? Let's make a deal. I'll cure you, and you let us go. How's that?"

"What?!"

Seeing Rim's hopeful expression, Jack asked Master seriously, "Rim's illness is hereditary and connected to his blood. Can you really cure it?"

"Hmph!" Master smirked confidently. "As long as it's a disease, I can fix it."

Rim's excitement grew, his face lighting up with hope.

"I ate the Paramecia-class Purification Fruit. I'm the Purification Man! I can cleanse any harmful bacteria or virus from the human body!"

"Bacteria? Viruses? Do you even know what those are?" Jack asked skeptically.

Thanks to Queen, members of the Beast Pirates weren't entirely clueless about such concepts, and Jack understood well enough. After seeing the duo nod, Master continued.

"I've developed my Purification Fruit abilities pretty well. Besides curing illnesses, I can purify hidden injuries and remove unnecessary substances from the body. I can also purify water and clean harmful substances from the air!"
