Pokemon : I Am A Breeder/Champion

Chapter 17: 17. Leave These To Me, I Can Do Anything

Sophia sent over all the land deeds Evan needed the next day.

When she arrived at the orphanage, she immediately attracted a group of little ones, all eager to see who this young lady was.

Everyone was curious: Was she Evan's brother's girlfriend?

At that moment, all the children were buzzing with curiosity, their eyes fixed on the graceful young woman before them. She had a soft, gentle appearance.

Feeling a bit shy under their gazes, Sophia soon smiled and greeted the children warmly.

Evan stepped out just then.

Seeing him, Sophia hurriedly handed over the documents she had brought.

"Evan" she said, offering the papers. "These are the land deeds you asked for. Just sign your name, and the property will be transferred to you. You'll have use of it for the next 50 years, but after that, you'll need to pay again if you want to extend it."

Evan nodded in response. "Alright, thank you."

After taking the documents, he immediately began to sign them.

Meanwhile, Sophia continued speaking about the energy cubes.

"After I got those energy cube formulas you gave me, production started right away," she said. "The new cubes should be available on the market in about a week. The recipes you shared were so simple to make, and our company's production line is perfectly equipped for it. We've even secured the raw materials, which has brought the costs down considerably."

"My grandpa asked me to extend his deepest thanks," she added. "Evan, Senior, if you need any further assistance, just let me know."

The formulas Evan provided could replace other mid-level energy cubes in their company's inventory, reducing production costs while keeping the process straightforward.

Currently, many companies use common energy cube recipes, and the prices for them are quite similar. When Trainers purchase them, it often comes down to brand preference. However, with a cheaper energy cube that performs just as well as the mid-level ones, Trainers will naturally opt for the more affordable option.

Evan's formulas had provided a huge advantage. Not only were the production costs low, but Sophia's company had found ways to reduce them even further. The cost of producing these high-quality mid-level energy cubes would soon be equivalent to that of low-level cubes.

Once released, the new cubes would only be slightly more expensive than the low-level ones, while offering the superior benefits of mid-level energy cubes. Sophia was confident that many Trainers would be willing to make the switch.

Even Trainers who typically used low-level cubes would likely spend a bit more for such a significant upgrade in quality. After all, who wouldn't want better results for a little extra cost—unless they were really struggling financially?

Sophia believed that with Evan's formulas, their business would flourish this year, potentially overtaking their competitors in the energy cube market. The market was only so big, and as their company grew, others might experience a drop in sales. In time, their company might even become the leader in this field.

...

Sophia gazed at Evan with admiration, her words sincere. If he needed anything, all he had to do was ask, and she would gladly help.

For a brief moment, she felt an impulse to run to him, her heart swelling with gratitude for the energy cube formulas he had shared. They were incredible.

Evan, having finished signing the documents, blinked and looked at her thoughtfully as she spoke.

A handyman who comes to your door automatically?

In that case, Evan was more than happy to accept the help.

"I actually have something for you to assist me with," he said. "If possible, could you help me find a construction company? Now that I've secured the land, I need to renovate the back area—build some fences and plant a variety of fruit trees."

"Since your family sells energy cubes, I'm sure you're familiar with this sort of thing, right? You probably have your own orchards."

Sophia paused for a moment, taken by surprise.

"This?" she said, before quickly smiling. "No problem. I'll arrange it for you."

For her, it was just a matter of making a quick phone call.

Seeing her agree so readily, Evan's excitement grew, and he continued sharing his ideas enthusiastically.

"I want to fence off the area, plant an orchard inside, and at the same time, I'm planning to open a breeding house. Can I leave all that to you?"

"Sophi~~!" he teased, playfully drawing out her name.

Sophia blinked, feeling a little flustered by the teasing tone. Why did it feel so... cheesy?

After a moment's thought, she nodded. "No problem, Evan. Leave everything to me. If you have any design plans, I can have someone draw up a detailed layout for you. How does that sound?"

It was clear that Evan already had some ideas, and all he needed was a professional to bring them to life.

Her words aligned perfectly with his wishes. He had indeed sketched out a simple design.

"Actually, I do have something ready," Evan said, smiling. "Please have a seat for a moment, and I'll go grab it."

Turning to the girls, he called, "Luna, take Sister Sophia inside."

With that, Evan headed back to his room to retrieve the design, leaving Luna and the others to entertain Sophia.

As soon as he left, the girls hurried over, excitedly gathering around Sophia.

"Sister Sophia, come with me!" Luna said, beaming. "I'll take you inside."

"Oh, and Sister Sophia," she added, her eyes sparkling with excitement, "would you like to let out your Pokémon? We have energy cubes here, and you can let them have a snack."

It was obvious that Luna and the others just wanted to see Sophia's Pokémon, but Sophia didn't mind at all.

"Is that so?" she said with a smile. "Alright, I'll let them out."

With that, she pulled a few Poké Balls from her pocket and tossed them into the air.

"Come on out, Garchomp, Ralts, Absol!"

As her voice echoed, the Poké Balls opened, revealing three Pokémon in a burst of light.

First appeared Garchomp, a fearsome Dragon and Ground-type Pokémon with sharp teeth and scythe-like arms, standing tall and proud as a pseudo-legendary Pokémon.

Next was Absol, a sleek white-furred Pokémon with a horn resembling a scythe, known for its ability to sense disasters and often viewed as a protector in legends.

Finally, there was the small yet elegant Ralts, exuding psychic energy and charm.

The little girls gasped in awe, especially at the sight of Garchomp and Absol—two powerful and rare Pokémon. Absol, in particular, was famous among children for its role as a guardian, warning people of danger before disaster struck.

All the girls were captivated, their eyes shining with admiration as they gazed at Sophia's impressive team.
