Pokemon: I am Gary

"Roar~" A powerful dragon aura surged into the sky after taking down the last poor Bellsprout. Gary's Charizard finally reached its critical point.

"Next!" Gary tossed a piece of black charcoal into Charizard's mouth. Immediately, a white light shone brightly. With wings spread wide, horns sprouting from its head, and strong legs exuding power, Gary's Charizard completed its second stage evolution, leaping up to become the reliable ace of the team. Feeling the immense power, Charizard couldn't help but open its mouth and unleash a stream of flames toward the sky. Boom! The fiery explosion satisfied Gary, who nodded approvingly. "If you dare to breathe fire at me, I'll have my Golduck teach you a lesson... about being a dragon—"

"Wow~" After adjusting to its new body, Charizard waved to Gary, signaling him to hop on. Gary recalled his Arcanine and Eevee, then lightly jumped onto Charizard's broad back.

"Tsk tsk~ Warm and quite soft~" Gary enjoyed the moment, smacking his lips. Charizard tilted its head, rolling its eyes. How could it not be comfortable? This thing is real leather...

Finally, there was a Pokémon in the team that could carry him while flying, and Gary was very excited. He patted Charizard's back and confidently declared, "Let's go to the next city, Gringey City! Let me see your sustained flying ability!"

"How foolish of me! With Nurse Joy being so lazy here, I actually expected hot food in the cafeteria." He covered his face as despair washed over him... "If you want food, there are instant noodles at the counter." Nurse Joy floated by with a cup of milk tea in hand.

Frowning, Gary replied: "Isn't there normal food? I'm still growing…" Examining his height of nearly 1.75 meters, Nurse Joy frowned: "You can still grow?"

"Forget it~ If you can't rely on others, rely on yourself." He walked into the kitchen and put on an apron. Carrots, onions, potatoes, peas, steak—hmm, enough ingredients! Determined now, he looked at Nurse Joy: "Curry should be fine?"

Soon enough, Gary took off his apron and stepped out. "Everyone eat up." "Roar!" Nurse Joy cheered along with all the Pokémon. Preparing special Pokémon food for them first before pouring golden curry over it instantly enhanced flavors many times over!

Scizor had already begun drooling... "All right—let's eat." After feeding all his Pokémon first, only then did Gary serve himself two plates of rice topped with curry before bringing them out.

Shrugging casually explained: "I'm heading to that abandoned power plant nearby to help my Pokémon digest."

"Okay then~" With an indifferent nod agreeing she added: "Take this!" Thud! A bag of antidotes landed beside him.

"There are many Poison-type Pokémon around Gringey City; take this just in case." With her back turned towards him speaking casually yet confidently added: "If luck runs out and you get hurt just hurry back here. As long as you're not dead I can save you."

"This... I will be careful. Thank you very much." Smiling slightly he turned around leaving unexpectedly realizing that this Nurse Joy was also quite skilled medically hidden beneath her lazy demeanor.

If she didn't possess absolute confidence she wouldn't have said such things earlier without hesitation either! Geniuses might be somewhat eccentric too; this Nurse Joy isn't simple either—

Watching Gary's departing figure with a slight smile emerged as she opened her computer continuing her idle activities... Beside her Chansey displayed an expression of helplessness. Even if one has high medical talent being lazy like this doesn't show through at all...
