Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Mew and her friends continue their journey through Johto in search of the next gym in Goldenrod City. They walk through the forest to see trees, trees, and more trees, thick trees to be exact.

"Boy, the trees are really thick here," Mew says

"I wonder if this place even has a name?" Mew wonders.

"Pika," (Yeah.) Pikachu replies

Looking at the map, Brock says, "According to the map, this is the Ilex Forest."

"Snubbull?" (Ilex Forest?) Snubbull replies, confused.

"That's a weird name," Jen says.

"A weird name for a weird place," Tomo replies.

"There's nothing to worry about, guys. As long as we follow this map, we'll stay right on course," Brock says.

"Brock, you always say that right before we get lost," Misty says.

"I'm just looking out for you, kids," Brock says

"He's even scarier than the forest," Misty replies.

Togpei and Pichu agree.

Elsewhere, Team Rocket is also wandering in the forest, starving.

"I'd give ANYTHING to eat something," Jessie says, hungry.

"Me, too," James says, starving.

Soon, Meowth spots Mew and the others, "Hey look! It's dose twerpy kids!"

Jessie grows excited, "Let's follow them and steal their food!"

"Yeah!" James and Meowth agree.

Meanwhile, up ahead, Mew and the others hear something, "Cutting Attack, now!"

"Huh?" Mew says, confused.

Then Misty asks, "Did he say cutting?

"Yeah, I think that's what he said," Brock says.

Then hear the voice again, "Come on, Farfetch'd. Use your Cutting Attack. Pleeeeease?!"

Everyone soon looks to their right to see a young boy wearing light blue clothes and has something on his back. He is also accompanied by a Farfetch'd.

"I don't understand why you won't do what I ask you to, Farfetch'd!" The boy says.

But the Farfetch'd says, "Fetch'd." (So what?)

Frustrated, the boy shouts, "Cutting Attack! Cutting Attack!"

"Fetch'd." (You're wasting my time.) Farfetch'd refuses.

Soon, the boy begs Farfetch'd, "Pretty please, with sugar on it!"

But again, "Faaar!" (Nuh-uh!) Farfetch'd refuses.

Soon, Misty calls out, "Uhhh, hello!"

The boy and Farfetch'd turn their heads in surprise to see Misty and the others.

"We couldn't help but overhear," Mew says

"It's pretty obvious what your problem is," Brock says.

Soon, the boy panics, "YOU WERE WATCHING ME?!" He then freaks out, and says, embarrassed, "Then you know I'm a total failure as a trainer because I can't get my Farfetch'd to do one simple attack."

"It helps if you use the right name of the attack when you train Pokemon," Misty says.

"I said Cutting Attack," The boy says.

And Farfetch'd says, "Farrr…"(You're pathetic...)

"Hey! That's the right name, isn't it?" The boy asks.

Mew answers, "Actually, it's called a Cut Attack."

"Eevee," (She's right.) Eevee says.

The boy whispers in shock, "Not... cutting?"

Soon the boy begins to panic, "I always make stupid mistakes like this!"

Then the boy turns to his Pokemon, "I'm sorry, Farfetch'd. Let's try a Cut attack this time."

"Fetch!" (No!) Farfetch'd refuses.

Then the boy begs on his knees, "Just for meeeeee?!"

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is trying to figure out where Mew and the others go.

Jessie asks, "Which way did the twerps go?"

"Who knows?" James replies.

And Meowth says, "I'm too weak to look for 'em.

"I need food," James says, weak from hunger

Then Jessie asks, "Maybe we can buy some. Meowth, is there any money in our purse?"

"It's as empty as my stomach," Meowth says, showing the bag.

Team Rocket sighs in disappointment.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others get acquainted with the boy and his Pokemon and introduce themselves.

Then the boy says, "Thanks a lot, guys. I really appreciate you helping me out. My name's Sylvester. I just started training this Farfetch'd and I'm having a hard time remembering all the attack names."

"It can be kinda tough at first, Sylvester, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it with a little practice," Misty says.

Then Mew asks, " When you get your Farfetch'd trained, are you gonna try to compete in the Johto League?"

"Well, maybe someday I might, but what I really wanna do is learn how to make Purifying Charcoal just like my father does," Sylvester says.

"Purifying Charcoal?" Tomo says, confused.

Brock grows excited, "Oh, boy! I love Purifying Charcoal!"

"Really, Brock? You mean you've heard about it?" Sylvester asks, amazed.

Then Misty asks, "What's Purifying Charcoal?

"Well, it's really amazing stuff, Misty," Brock says, "It's kinda burnt wood that's used for fuel, but it purifies water and it cleans the air, too. And, the Charcoal made from the wood here in the Ilex Forest is world famous for being super-top quality! In fact, it's an important part of my secret recipe for Brock's rockin' rice! I take one bag of Pewter City rice, and 3 glasses of Mt. Moon spring water and then, most importantly, boil it over a fire built with 5 sticks of Ilex Charcoal. And then, I simmer for 20 minutes for a taste that's beyond compare!"

"I think it's really cool that you know how to make something that important, Sylvester," Mew says.

"I'm still trying to learn the right way to make it. My father's trying to teach me how," Sylvester says.

"I'll bet you'll be doing it on your own in no time!" Misty says.

"Soon as I learn all the secret techniques, I'm gonna be a master charcoal maker just like my father!" Sylvester says, and turns to his Pokemon. "That's why my good buddy Farfetch'd and I are out in the forest today. I'm trying to teach it how to cut trees into perfect blocks." and rubs Farfetch'd on the head.

Farfetch'd yawns.

"Perfect blocks?" Jen says, confused.

"Yeah, every piece of wood has to be cut perfectly. That's why I was trying to get Farfetch'd to use its Cut attack. But I messed that up," Sylvester says.

"Don't worry Sylvester. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. It takes some time. It was a little tough when Pikachu and I started training together, but in time, we're able to have a great time. But before too long, we started working things out and now we're on our way to the Johto League, so keep trying. You're only a loser if you're a quitter.

"Yeah, you're right, Mew," Sylvester says.

Then gets up, "C'mon, Farfetch'd. Let's give it another try."

Later at the Pokemon Center, Mew is talking to professor Oak, "Thanks very much, Mew. I'm dying to know about that GS Ball. If there's anyone who can unlock the mystery, it's Kurt.

"He saved us back in Azalea Town, Professor, and he even gave Misty, Brock and me these great Pokéballs!" Mew says, and shows her the Pokeball, "Mine's a Lure!"

"Ah, that's an excellent Pokéball to use for capturing Water Pokémon!" Professor Oak says, impressed

Then Mew says, "I won a Hive Badge in Azalea Town, and we're on our way to Goldenrod City for the next gym."

"Keep up the good work. All your Pokémon here are behind you," Professor Oak says.

Some of Mew's Pokemon present themselves for support.

Professor Oak says, "And on top of me! Bye!"

Soon, the call ends. Then Mew returns to the table where her friends are.

"Okay, ready!" Mew says.

Brock shows them the map, "I've been studying the map and as far as I can tell, There is a quickest way to Goldenrod City. It will still take us some time, but we'll be there in no time at some of the cities along the way."

"Alright then, it will be a good idea to stock up on food and supplies, and then we can…" Mew says.

But interrupted when he hears Sylvester's voice, "Nurse Joy!"

The group turns their heads to see Sylvester running to Nurse Joy in a panic.

Sylverster says, "Nurse Joy, you gotta help me!"

"What is it, Sylvester? What's the matter?" Nurse Joy asks.

Confused, Mew says, "Sylvester."

"I wonder what he's doing at the Pokémon Center?" Misty wonders.

Sylvester asks, "Nurse Joy, have you seen my Farfetch'd?"

"No. Not since you were here last week," Nurse Joy answers.

Sylvester panics, "Oh, no! What am I gonna do?!"

"Sylvester!" Mew calls out.

Sylvester turns his head and says, "Mew, it's you."

Mew and the others approach him.

Jen asks, "How come your Farfetch'd isn't with you?"

"Well, you see, Farfetch'd and I were in the forest trying to work things out and we were doing okay for a while...till I...started messing up some of the commands," Sylvester explains.

Then Misty suggests, "And Farfetch'd ran away?"

Sylvester slumps his head, "I'm a loser."

Mew reassures, "Don't think like that, Sylvester. You're doing the best you can."

"Mew' right," Tomo says.

Then wonders, "But where could Farfetch'd go?

Then Nurse Joy says, "Sylvester, maybe your Farfetch'd went back to your father's house, just like it did the last time you tried to train it and it ran off."

"It sounds to me like you're familiar with the whole family, Nurse Joy," Brock says.

"Yes," Nurse Joy says. Sylvester's father's very strict and I think Farfetch'd would be too afraid to leave home and make him angry.

"You're right. That should have been the very first place I looked for Farfetch'd. I can't believe how stupid I am," Sylvester says.

"You think your father's gonna be mad at you?" Mew asks.

Sylvester sighs, "Probably."

Then Mew has an idea, "Hey, I know! How about if we go with you? And if your Farfetch'd isn't at your father's, we can go look in the forest together."

"That's great, thanks a lot, Mew!" Sylvester says.

Soon, Sylvester, Mew and the others arrive at Sylvester's house and enter the workshop where Sylvester's father is and he has a Magmar making Purifying Charcoal.

Mew turns to Sylvester, "We might as well get it over with.

"Right," Silver says and gulps in reply.

He walks to his dad and asks, "Hey, Dad? Have you seen Farfetch'd?"

When his father doesn't answer, Sylvester yells, "Hey, Dad!"

"Quit yelling! I hear ya!" Sylvester's dad says in a stern tone.

A little nervous, Sylvester asks, "Have you seen...my Farfetch'd?"

"I knew it! You let that thing run away again, didn't you?" Sylvester's father says, strictly.

Sylvester flinches, "I didn't say it ran away!"

"Well, if it didn't run away, how come you're looking for it?" Sylvester's father questions.

"Uhhhh, well…" Sylverster's nervously says.

But his father says, "You just can't do anything right, can ya?!"

"He's scary," Misty says, nervously.

"I'm ready to apologize to him and I didn't even do anything!" Brock says.

Sylvester's father continues, "I told ya before, if you want to make quality charcoal you have to learn how to handle Farfetch'd AND Magmar! Now how do you expect to handle the Pokemon if you can't even find them?!"

Bringing up the courage, Mew says, "Excuse me, Sylvester's doing the best he can with Farfetch'd, and if you don't mind me saying so, I think you're being too hard on him!

"Who are you!?" Sylvester's dad asks.

Then Mew introduces herself, "My name is Mew, I come from Pallet Town and I'm on my way to compete in the Johto League."

Sylvester's dad crosses his arms, "Pokemon trainer...then you should know just what I'm talking about!"

"Hmm?" Mew says, confused.

Then Sylvester's father says, "A good Trainer, knows that you don't train a Pokemon just by telling them what to do."

"I suppose…" Mew replies.

Then Sylvester's dad says, "Listen, Sylvester. You're never going to learn how to be a good charcoal maker OR a good trainer if you don't learn how to work with your Pokemon. You can't just tell Farfetch'd what to do, act together, like you share one mind!"

Sylvester lowers his head, "Yes, sir."

Then his father strictly says, "Now go find Farfetch'd and don't come back until you do!"

With that, Sylvester runs out as he calls out, "FARFETCH'D!"

Mew and the others hurry after him.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket continues to wander around with empty stomachs.

James says, "I'm so hungry."

"I know, James, I heard!" Jessie says.

James begins sobbing, "I'm sorry, but my tummy needs a yummy!"

Then Jessie yells, "WE ALL NEED A YUMMY!" and soon in tears, "If we don't find something to eat soon, I'm going to go out of my mind!"

"Sometimes when I get dis hungry I start smelling food with my head and I…" Meowth says, but something catches his attention, "Oh!" and begins sniffing the air, "Hey! I think I smell some food with my nose!"

James picks Meowth up, using him like a compass, "Let's follow that snout!"

"Hurry!" Meowth says.

Jessie chases after them, "Wait for me!"

Soon, the three find out where the food is coming from.

Meowth points out, "It's coming from up there!"

"I see it!" James says.

Soon, they approach a shrine with an offering on it

"Look! Two delectable butter rolls!" James says, and takes them

"Without butter," Jessie says.

"You're right, Jessie. These aren't good enough for you..." James says.

Soon, Meowth and Jessie snatch the rolls out of James' hands and eat them in one sitting.

"Mmmm, I can just imagine the butter!" Jessie says.

"Dis is butter dan nuttin!" Meowth says.

James begins sobbing, "Why me!?"

Soon, something catches their attention.

"Look!" Jessie says.

What they see is Sylvester's Farfetch'd

"It's a Farfetch'd!" Meowth says, surprised

"The Farfetch'd is a very rare and valuable Pokémon!" James says, excited.

Even Jessie is pleased, "This could be just the chance we've been waiting for!"

"A Farfetch'd will fetch a pretty price on da Poké-Market!" Meowth says.

Then Jessie says, "All we do is auction it off to the highest bidder."

"Then we buy ourselves a humongous dinner!" James says.

Farfetch'd turns to see them, "Far?" (Huh?)

And James leaps at it, "I choose you, Farfetch'd!"

"Far!" (Hey!) Farfetch'd yelps and leaps away.

And turns to see Jessie and Meowth.

Meowth laughs, "It looks like you ain't going very far, Farfetch'd!"

Jessie chuckles, "That's right, because Team Rocket's come to fetch you!"

"Farfetch'd!" (Oh no!) Farfetch'd panics

"Okay. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way!" James says.

Team Rocket laughs evilly as they know they have the upper hand.

Farfetch'd says, "Farrrr..." (Aw, great...) and knows that he's in trouble.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are helping Sylvester search for Farfetch'd

"Your father has a pretty hot temper," Mew says.

"Seems like his temper gets even hotter than his Magmar," Misty agrees

"Yeah, but using a Farfetch'd and a Magmar to make charcoal is genius," Brock says.

Soon, Misty spots something, "Hey, what's this?"

The group turns to see a Shrine up ahead.

"It's a shrine to the spirit that watches over the forest. This is right near where we were when Farfetch'd ran away," Sylvester says.

Tomo calls out, "Hey, where are you?!"

Misty calls out, "Farfetch'd!"

Then Brock calls out, "Hey, Farfetch'd! Can you hear me?"

"Farfetch'd!" Jen calls out.

Mew calls out, "C'mon out! Farfetch'd!"

She then sighs and suggests, "Maybe if we all yell together."

But Sylvester says, "It's no use, how are we ever going to find Farfetch'd in a place this big? Even if we all looked day and night it might take weeks."

Soon, Tomo notices something, "Hey guys, what's that?"

The group turns to see something familiar sticking out of the bush.

"Is that Farfetch'd?" Misty wonders.

Soon, a Pokemon comes out of the bush, but this one is different. It looks like a Farfetch'd but it's different. It's a deeper shade of brown, with a more prominent black mark on its head. The leek it carries with its wings is much larger than the leeks that Farfetch'd usually use.

"What is that?" Jen asks.

"It looks like a Farfetch'd, but it's different," Sylvester says.

"You're right. It looks like a Galarian Farfetch'd," Mew says.

She brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says, "Farfetch'd, the Wild Duck Pokemon. Galarian Form. A Fighting Type. The Farfetch'd of the Galar region are brave warriors, and they wield thick, tough leeks in battle."

"Maybe it has seen Sylvester's Farfetch'd?" Tomo replies.

Then walks to the Galarian Farfetch'd and asks, "Excuse me, have you seen a Farfetch'd around here. It's actually the other kind."

Galarian Farfetch shakes his head in reply.

"Okay," Tomo says.

Then turns to the others, "No luck."

Then Mew has an idea, "Guys, this is a Pokémon problem so why don't we use a Pokémon solution?"

"Good idea," Misty says.

"Let's do it!" Brock says.

"Yeah!" Jen says.

"Sounds good!" Tomo says.

Mew then calls out, "I choose everyone, go!"

Mew calls out a lot of her Pokemon: Cyndaquil, Chikoirta, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Heracross, Sunflora, Ivysaur, Wartortle, Gengar, Furret, Zo the Hisuian Zorua, Lucario, Ledyba, and Pidgeot.

Then Misty's turn, "I choose, everybody!"

She brings out Poliwag, Psyduck, Golduck, Vespiquen, Illumise, Pancham, Spinarak, the two Sentret, and Piplup

"Come on out, everyone," Tomo says.

Tomo calls out Ponyta, Abra, Cubone, Riolu, Zorua, Sage the Bulbasaur, Girafarig, Rufflet, Skarmory, Wyrdeer, and Tyrunt.

Now it's Jen's turn, "Everyone, we need your help."

Jen calls out Zo's Hisuian Zorua sister, along with Zoroark, Lucario and Riolu, Donphan, and Salandit.

Finally, it's Brocks' turn, "Let's go, everybody!"

Brock calls out Onix, Geodude, Vulpix, Winter the Alola Vulpix, Rockruff, Sneasler, Seedot, Alolan Geodude, and Pineco.

Pineco is about to self-destruct, but Brock acts fast, "Pineco, no! Return! Don't self-destruct!" and returns Pineco to his Pokeball.

"Wow. you have so many Pokemon," Sylvester says, impressed.

Mew turns to the boy, "With all the Pokemon looking, we're sure to find your Farfetch'd now!"

Soon, Chikorita nuzzles her head against Mew's leg.

"Oh Chikoirta," Mew says.

Soon, Misty notices Psyduck is asleep and shouts, "Psyduck! Wake up!"

Mew then calls out, "Okay, let's get started! Everybody spread out and search for Sylvester's Farfetch'd, okay?"

With that, all of Mew's Pokemon begin searching.

Brock calls out, "Let's get out there and find it!"

"Yeah. Let's look for Farfetch'd!" Jen calls out.

Brock and Jen's Pokemon spread out.

Then Misty says, "Come on. Let's all look, together!"

"We can find it if we work together!" Tomo says.

Soon, Misty and Tomo's Pokemon spread out.

Then Mew says, "Let's all meet up back here in an hour!"

Everyone agrees. Tomo, Mew, and their Pokemon stay with Sylvester.

Tomo soon notices Galarian Farfetch'd is with him.

"Do you want to help too?" Tomo asks.

Galarian Farfetch'd nods in reply.

Mew turns to Sylvester, "Well, we better get going."

"Right," Sylvester says.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket are still chasing Farfetch'd.

Jessie shouts, "There it goes!"

"Quick, Meowth! It went that way!" James calls out.

Meowth shouts, "You ain't gettin' away from Meowth!"

Farfetch'd takes to the skies and flies into the trees. He cut down some branches, and they fall on Team Rocket. Farfetch'd laughs.

Jessie loses her temper, "THAT'S NOT FUNNY! I'm through playing around, now I'm getting serious with you!"

"I'm serious too!" Meowth says.

And James says, "I'm famished."

Then Meowth has an idea, "Jessie, maybe we should use some Pokémon ta fight dis Pokémon!"

"Good!" Jessie says, and grabs Meowth, "Let's start with you!" and throws Meowth up the trees.

Meowth panic, "AHHHH! LOOK OUT! LOOK OUT! LOOK OUT!"

And Farfetch'd smacks Meowth in the face with its leek, sending him back down.

Meowth screams, "AHHHH! LOOK OUT! LOOK OUT! LOOK OUT!" and lands on Jessie, knocking her to the ground.

Meowth says, "From now on I gotta look out for myself."

Farfetch'd continues laughing.

This makes Jessie more mad, "Let's see who laughs last!" and throws her Pokeball, "Arbok, Lickitung, I choose you!"

And Arbok and Lickitung come out of their Pokeballs.

Jessie calls out, "Arbok, use your Poison Sting, now!"

Arbok fires the attack, but Farfetch'd spins his leek around and uses it as a shield.

"Dat leek's in de way!" Meowth says.

"In that case, we'll have to take that leek away!" James says.

Then Jessie calls out, "Quick, Arbok! Leap up there and grab its leek!"

Arbok leaps to Farfetch'd but it flies away.

Then Jessie calls out, "Lickitung, try using your tongue to take that leek away!"

Lickitung manages to grab the leek and remove it from Farfetch'd wing as Farfetch'd lands in the bush with a thud.

Lickitung tries to eat, but Jessie takes it away, "That's not your dinner! We need the whole set! We won't get top dollar if Farfetch'd doesn't have its leek!"

Farfetch'd comes out of the bush to see Team Rocket has his leek.

Jessie chuckles, "Looks like you don't have your little leek to protect you anymore, do you?"

"Now, let's see how brave ya are witout yer veggie!" Meowth says.

With no other choice, Farfetch'd runs away, "

"Ya won't get away this time!" Meowth says, and tosses a lasso at Farfetch'd.

Farfetch'd is caught being he can fly away.

"We got ya!" Meowth says.

Soon, Farfetch'd is trapped in the net Jessie is carrying.

"Ohhh, it's an excellent specimen," Jessie says.

"We oughta get a nice price for it, too," Meowth says.

James begins biting on Farfetch'd leek.

But, Jessie snatches the leek away, "Give me that! I told you the Farfetch'd isn't worth as much without the leek."

"Sorry," James apologizes.

Soon, Heracross and Skarmory spot Team Rocket as they walk on with their catch.

"You have to stop thinking with your stomach and start using your brain, like I do," Jessie says.

Discussing the plan, Heracross heads off to inform the others while Skarmory keeps an eye on Team Rocket. As Team Rocket walks along the trail, James' stomachs begin to growl.

"Will you be quiet?! I can't hear myself think!

James begins sobbing, "Don't tell me, tell my stomach!"

Suddenly, Mew's voice appears, "Look, Team Rocket!"

Team Rocket turns to see Mew, Tomo, Sylvester and the Pokemon

"It's the twerp!" Jessie says, shocked.

Farfetch'd cries out, "Far-fetch! Far!" (Sylvester!)

"They've got Farfetch'd!" Sylvester says, shocked.

"Give back that Farfetch'd, now!" Mew demands.

And Sylvester says, "My father gave it to me and he's going to be really mad if you guys take it!"

"We found this Farfetch'd in the forest, and now we're going to sell it to pay for a fabulous feast!" Jessie says,

"That's right! Finder's eaters, losers weepers!" James says.

"If you don't give it back, I'm going to be in big trouble!" Sylvester cries out.

And Team Rocket performs the motto.

Jessie:

Then prepare for trouble!

James:

Make it double!

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender... now we're preparing for dinner!

Meowth:

Meowth will have a bite!

"You three can't be any tougher on me than my father is! Give me back my Farfetch'd, now!" Sylvester shouts, and rushes in for Farfetch'd

Jessie throws her Pokeballs, "Arbok, Lickitung, it's time to come out and play.

Both Pokemon come out of the Pokeballs and stop Sylvester in his tracks. Then Meowth swoops in between his legs, making him trip, giving Team Rocket a chance to escape.

"Let's get out of here!" Meowth says.

"We gotta stop em!" Mew says, "Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Razor Leaf!"

"Sage, use Razor Leaf too!" Tomo calls out.

The Grass Pokemon perform Razor Leaf and it lands, and cut the net, freeing Farfetch'd

Meowth meekly says, "Da Farfetch'd."

"Hurry, Farfetch'd! Fly back to me!" Sylvester calls out.

Then Jessie calls out to her Pokemon, "Hurry, Lickitung! Catch it!"

Lickitung extends its tongue and easily plucks Farfetch'd out of the sky.

"Oh no!" Sylvester cries out.

Farfetch'd is soon reeled in.

And James calls out, "I choose Weezing, Victreebel! Go!"

Weezing and Vicreebel come out of the Pokeball, but Victreebel munches on James' head.

James cries out, "NO! NO! I'm the hungry one, not you!" Then comes out of Victreebel's mouth, "Get them, Weezing! Use your Sludge attack!"

Weezing launches the attack hitting all the Pokemon.

"Farfetch'd look out!" Tomo calls out and pushes Galarian Farfetch'd out of the way.

And Tomo gets sludged as well.

James cheers, "Hooray! We win!"

"Could we wrap dis up and get some chow, please?" Meowth asks.

Then Jessie calls out, "Arbok, Poison Sting!"

Arbok then fires the poison sting attack.

Sylvester cries out, "Guys, look out!"

Suddenly, Onix bursts out of the ground.

"What's that?!" Jessie exclaims

"It's Onix!" Mew says, relieved.

Soon, the others show up.

"Now we are," Mew says.

"Okay, Poliwag Golduck, Psyduck, use your Water Gun to wash away all of that sludge!"

The three water Pokemon do just that.

"I wish we could wash that twerp away!" Jessie says.

"Alright, everybody! Are you ready to get Sylvester's Farfetch'd back?!" Mew calls out.

All the Pokemon agree.

"Wow! Mew is great!" Sylvester says, amazed.

"You're not taking our meal ticket without a fight, twerp! Team attack!" James says.

Weezing sends out a Smokescreen attack, blinding Mew's Pokemon, Victreebel then sends a Razor Leaf to attack them.

James cheers, "Oh, yes!"

"We're winning!" Jessie happily says.

"At last!" Meowth cheers.

Mew calls out, "Squirtle, Wartortle, use your Hydro Pump attack! Wash away Weezing's Smokescreen attack! Hurry!"

Both Pokemon use the attack and the Smokescreen fades away.

Sylvester is amazed, "Alright, Bulbasaur, Chikorita Ivysaur, use your Razor Leaf and Vine Whip attacks together! Cyndaquil, give them some backup with a Flamethrower!"

All of them use the attacks.

"I wish I could get my Farfetch'd to work for me the way Mew gets her Pokémon to work for her," Sylvester says.

Then Misty says, "Mew and his Pokemon really work together as a team, Sylvester."

"It's almost like Mew and his Pokémon think with one mind," Brock says.

"One mind. Like dad says," Sylvester says.

"Stop em, Heracross! Use you Tackle! Zo, use Take Down!" Mew calls out.

Both Pokemon charge and ram into Team Rocket, causing Farfetch'd leek to go flying.

Misty and Brock cheer, "Yeah!"

"The leek!" Sylvester says and runs to get it.

Jessie notices, "We can't let them give that leek back to Farfetch'd!"

And rushes over as well, but Sylvester is faster and grabs the leek.

Tomo and Jen cheer, "He got it!"

"Are you okay?!" Mew asks.

"I'm fine. Now that I know Farfetch'd and I have to work as a team, I'm just great!" Sylvester says.

Then calls out, "Farfetch'd, take this!"

Sylvester tosses the leek and Farfetch'd manages to catch it.

Sylvester calls out, "Farfetch'd, use Peck attack, now!"

Farfetch'd agrees and strikes at Lickitung.

"Good job, Sylvester!" Mew says.

"You, too, Farfetch'd!" Misty calls out.

Jessie angrily says, "Let's use OUR Tackle!"

Then Team Rocket leap to attack Farfetch'd

"We gotcha now!" Meowth says.

Then Sylvester calls out, "Farfetch'd, use Fury!"

Farfetch'd agrees and attacks Team Rocket with full force, and lands on one foot. Then Team Rocket collapses.

"I've lost my will to fight, Jessie says.

James says miserably, "I've lost my appetite."

"Let's get outta here!" Meowth cries out.

Soon, Team Rocket retreat, "

Then Sylvester calls out, "Okay, Farfetch'd, Cut attack, now!"

Farfetch cut down two trees effortlessly, preventing Team Rocket from escaping.

"Looks like you guys got cut off!" Mew says.

Then Tomo steps forward, "Farfetch'd and I will deal with them."

Galarian Farfetch'd nods his head.

"Go get 'em, Tomo!" Jen cheers.

"Farfetch'd, use Brutal Swing!" Tomo calls out.

Galarian Farfetch'd performs Brutal Swing. His leek glows and swings it with full force, sending Team Rocket flying.

"That little twerp and his coach ruined our plan!" Jessie cries out.

And Meowth questions, "So, what else is new?"

"Let's go eat," James says.

Then Team Rocket screams, "We're blasting off again!"

On the ground, Sylvester celebrates.

"I told you, Sylvester. You got Farfetch'd to use Cut attack perfectly," Mew says.

Pikachu and Eevee agree.

"That's right," Sylvester says, realizing it, "Farfetch'd did use Cut attack!" and pet Farfetch'd, "You did it, Farfetch'd. You finally used Cut attack on those trees."

"You and Farfetch'd work really great together," Misty says.

Brock agrees, "Yeah. You make a great team."

"I learned a lot about Team Work by watching you," Sylvester says.

"Fetch Far!" (Me, too!) Farfetch'd says.

Then Sylvester turns to Farfetch'd, "Okay, Farfetch'd, do you think you can cut that tree into blocks so we can make charcoal?"

Farfetch'd approaches the tree and starts slicing it apart like a samurai. In no time, the blocks are finished.

Sylvester cheers, "Farfetch'd! You did it!"

"That was amazing!" Mew says.

"The logs look perfect!" Misty says.

"You two are unbelievable," Silvester says.

"Just like Mew and her Pokemon, Farfetch'd and I are a real team now," Sylvester says.

"Fetch Far!" (Sure are!) Sylvester says.

Tomo pets Galarian Farfetch'd on the head, "You did great too. That Brutal Swing was great."

Galarian Farfetch'd nods in reply.

Later, the logs are delivered to his father's workshop.

"Saaay...You cut these logs beautifully..." His father says, impressed, "Well, Sylvester, I'm very proud of you, son."

"Thanks," Sylvester says.

His dad adds, "More importantly, you should be proud of yourself. And I have some of our very finest Ilex Forest charcoal for you as a way of saying thank you for helping."

"Thank you very much, sir," Brock says and takes the wood.

"That's really nice," Jen says.

"We really appreciate it, sir," Mew says.

Then Sylvester says, "I'm sorry you guys can't stay longer, but thanks again for all your help, and I hope you have good luck in the Johto League."

"Thanks, Sylvester. And good luck to you, too. Take care, everybody!" Mew says.

Soon, everyone departs.

Sylvester says goodbye, "Goodbye, guys! Take care, now!"

As the sun sets, on the forest adventure, Mew and her friends continue making their way to Goldenrod city.

Tomo turns to Galarian Farfetch'd, "You know Farfetch'd, I think we're going to do good together."

"Far," (Yes.) Galarian Farfetch'd nods.

And is actually pleased to set his loyalty to Tomo, after the way he protects him.
