Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

After travelinging safely through the Onix Tunnel, Mew and the others decide to take a lunch break before continuing on to Goldenrod City for the next gym battle. Togpei and Pichu happily chirp as the table is being set by Brock, Misty, and Jen.

"Don't worry, Togepi and Pichu. We're gonna eat soon," Misty says.

While the group is busy, a pair of red eyes watches from the bushes, and soon has its eyes out for Tomo's Backpack and Mew's bag.

"That's right, Togepi. The table's almost set, we can get started as soon as Ash and Tomo get back," Brock says.

Soon, Jen and Tomo return.

"Hi, guys! We finally found some water!" Mew says

"Great! Grab the bread and we'll dig in," Brock says.

"I'll get it. I put it in my backpack for safe keeping," Tomo says.

He then walks to the spot where his backpack is supposed to be, but it's not there. It's gone.

"Hey! My backpack was right here!" Tomo says, shocked.

Everyone seems puzzled.

"I can't believe this! I left it right by this tree when Mew and I went for water, and now it's gone!" Tomo says, panicking.

Mew soon notices, "Hey, my bag's gone too."

Misty turns to Brock, "You didn't move it, did you?"

"No way," Brock says.

"Do you think somebody stole them?" Mew asks.

"We've been here all morning and we haven't seen or heard anybody," Misty says.

Then Brock says, "And besides, what was in there to make it valuable enough to make it worth stealing?"

"Unfortunately, Tomo and I keep our Pokeballs in there, and My Pokenav, and a lot of our other stuff, and some of my berries and medicine," Mew says.

"My badges, Pokedex, and a few of my Pokeballs are in my pocket," Mew says.

" If somebody's really hungry, that bread's pretty valuable, too. And the berries Mew has in her bag," Misty says.

Soon, Brock spots something on the ground, "Hey! A Pokemon footprint!"

"Whatever left that footprint must've taken our bags," Tomo says.

"I think you're right about that, Tomo," Brock says.

Then Jen asks, "What kind of Pokemon was it, Brock?"

"Well, I'm afraid I can't exactly tell," Brock says.

"What do you think, Mew?" Misty asks.

Mew looks at the footprints, "Hmm, from the looks of it, it seems that it's a small Pokemon, but perhaps a little bigger than Pikachu."

"Still, we gotta find our stuff," Tomo says.

"And we will," Mew says.

Somewhere in town, Nurse Joy and Chansey exit the store, and notice the ice cream truck.

"Oh, look, Chansey! It's the ice cream man! Why don't we get something?" Joy says, and Chansey agrees.

They go to the ice cream truck and asks, "What'll it be, miss?

"Two mint chocolate chip cones, please," Nurse Joy says.

"Mint chocolate chip? You got it," The ice cream man says.

Nurse Joy places her grocery bag down on the bench and stretches, "I'm so glad we got our grocery shopping done! Aren't you?"

Chansey agrees.

But unknown to them. Team Rocket waits behind and on top of the wall.

"Lunch time!" James says.

"It's a whole buffet!" Meowth says.

Wobbuffet comes out of his Pokeball and says, "WOOOHHHHHHHHHHH-BUHHHHHHH! (That's right!)

"Meowth wasn't talking about you!" Jessie says and calls him back into his Pokeball.

Meanwhile, the ice cream man hands Nurse Joy the ice cream, "Here you go."

And Joy takes the ice cream she ordered.

"All right. I'll do the angling and Meowth will do the dangling!" James says, pulling back on the fishing rod with Meowth tied to it. Then drops Meowth over the bag of groceries.

"I got it guys!" Meowth whispers and grabs the packet of ham.

"Very impressive, James," Jessie says.

"Thanks, I've always found rods and reels and tackle quite alluring!" James says and reels Meowth up.

"Time to say Ciao, to your chow!" Meowth says.

Soon, Nurse Joy and Chansey finish their ice cream.

But when she turns around she gasps to see one of her items is missing, "What happened to the ham? I wonder where it could be, Chansey."

Meanwhile, Team Rocket are somewhere and about to share their catch.

James is happy, "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! She fell for that one hook, line and stinker."

"Yeah. For once I was happy ta put myself on da line for Team Rocket!" Meowth says with laughter.

Unaware that they're being spied on by a familiar red-eyed figure.

"Without further adieu. I present the catch of the day!" Jessie says and takes out the role of hamm, "Ta da!"

James happily says, "It looks beautiful!"

"And delicious!" Meowth says and leaps up to bite the ham.

That causes a fight between him, Jessie, and James over the ham, until it rolls away, allowing the figure to snatch it away without them noticing. Soon, Team Rocket notices it missing.

"Does anyone know where the ham is?" James asks

"Wooobbbbbbbbb!" (Not me.) Wobbuffet says.

"Hey! I know where!" Meowth says angrily and grabs Wobbufett, "Wobbuffet must have it!"

"Wobbuffet Wobba!" (I didn't take it!) Wobbuffet panics.

"Fork ovah da pork!" Meowth demands.

"Hold it!" James says, and pushes Meowth away, "You say you're innocent?"

"WOBBUFFET!" (Yes I am!) Wobbuffet answers.

Jessie angrily says, "If you didn't take it, then who did?"

Suddenly, they hear Nurse Joy, "Something's going on back there, Chansey."

The group panics.

Jessie cries out, "It's that nurse!"

"We better run!" James panics.

Team Rocket runs away as Nurse Joy shows up to find the empty ham wrapper.

Nurse Joy gasps, "Who'd do something like that?" and picks up the wrapper.

"Hey, Nurse Joy!" Mew's voice calls out.

Nurse Joy looks to see Mew and her friends walking to Nurse Joy.

"What are you doing back here?" Misty asks.

Brock slides in at the speed of light and says, "Hi! Were you looking for me?"

Everyone collapses in disbelief.

Misty recovers and grabs Brock by the ear and pulls him away, "No, but you're looking for trouble!"

Everyone watches as Brock is dragged away.

Mew turns to Nurse Joy and asks, "Are you having some kind of a problem?"

"Yes, I put our grocery bag down, and when I looked a second later, I noticed a ham was gone. Whoever took it left only the empty wrapper behind," Nurse Joy says, holding the wrapper.

"That's just like what happened to me. Only they didn't just take our food, they took my backpack, too!" Tomo says.

"And my bag as well," Mew adds

"Oh my," Nurse Joy says, surprised.

Then Misty asks, "Was one a guy who looked kind of weird, like this? And was one a girl who had really long hair, like this?"

"I don't know! Neither of us saw who took the ham!" Nurse Joy says.

Suddenly, Pikach says, "Pika!" (Look here!)

"What's the matter, Pikachu?" Mew asks.

Everyone looks to see familiar footprints.

"It's exactly like the one we saw before!" Brock

"I bet it's the same Pokémon who took my bag and Tomo's backpack," Mew says.

"Well, whatever it was, it took off into the woods," Misty says.

"We better hurry up and catch it before it gets away! Let's go!" Mew says.

Everyone agrees and heads off into the woods.

Nurse Joy calls out, "Good luck! Be careful!"

Unknown to Nurse Joy, Team Rocket has listened to them.

"This is interesting," Jessie says.

"Very interesting," Meowth says.

And James says, "It seems the Pokemon who stole from the twerps is also the Pokémon who stole the food we stole from Nurse Joy!"

Wobbuffet comes out of the Pokeball again, "WUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-OOOOOBBBBBB!" (Right...oh.) and quickly realizes the mistake.

Jessie mumbles, "If it had to steal something, why couldn't it have taken this big ham?" and recalls Wobbuffet back into the Pokeball.

"Now, we just need to follow the twerps and let them find that thieving Pokemon," Jessie says.

"Yeah," James says.

Meowth says, "Den we'll do a liddul tieving, too."

Meanwhile, Mew and the others continue to follow the footprints, and soon, the footprints stop.

"Pika!" (They're gone!) Pikachu says.

"Eevee Eevee," (This is the end of the trail.) Eevee says.

"You're right. This is the end of the trail," Mew says

"We've been running so fast, now we're in the middle of the woods," Misty says.

That gives Brock an idea, "Perfect, we'll spend the night right here."

The rest of the gang are unsure about the idea.

"Why here?" Misty asks

"The wind direction makes this an ideal location for us to stay," Brock says.

Confused, Jen asks, "What's wind direction got to do with where we stay?"

"You'll find out soon enough. Just wait and see," Brock says.

Soon, everyone have set up camp

"Brock, I've got the fire going!" Mew says.

Misty then asks, "Hey, what are you carving in that wood?"

"I'm just whittling away at a little decoy. Now that looks pretty tasty," Brock says, and holds out the fake.

Then place the real sausage and the fake one in the pot of boiling water, "Right! Let's get cooking!"

Later in the night, everyone is hiding and waiting for the thief.

Brock says, "The wind will carry the smell of the food."

"And the Pokemon that stole our stuff will come out and try to get some, right?" Mew says.

"I hope it doesn't try to get us," Misty says.

Soon, the wind blows and puts out some of the fire until it's completely out. Soon the clouds block the moonlight. Then the Pokemon senses something, even Mew.

Mew whispers, "I think I hear something.

"Me too," Jen says, worried.

Just then, something appears behind them, and the thief swipes the fake sausage. Mew and the others quickly spot whatever it is darts off.

"What is that?" Brock asks.

"It must've been the Pokemon!" Tomo says.

Then the Pokemon darts into the bushes

"Well, if that's what it was, it just got away again," Tomo says.

"And we'll never be able to find it in the dark," Misty says.

But Brock says, "That went perfectly!"

Everyone becomes puzzled.

Then Brock explains, "The thief took the fake food, so if it's really hungry, it'll have to come back. We've got the real meal." and reveals the real one.

"I get it," Jen says.

"And since we'll be right here waiting, this'll be more like a stakeout than a cookout," Misty says.

Suddenly, everyone hear growling around them

"What was that?" Mew asks.

"Whatever it is, it's getting closer," Misty worriedly says.

Soon, they hear more growling sounds.

"Yeah, and it's not alone!" Brock says.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Come on out!" Mew calls out.

Soon, one of the Pokemon revealed itself, followed by the rest of the pack.

"We've, got trouble," Mew says.

Soon, the clouds part and the moonlight reveals the Pokemon Pack. A pack of quadrupedal, canine Pokémon with short, black fur and a red underbelly and muzzle. Its ears and tail are both short and pointed. Two fangs protrude from its upper jaw, and its triangular nose is black. There are white bands on its ankles and rib-like ridges on its back. Appears to have a simplistic, stylized skull on its forehead with the eye orbits creating eyebrow patterning above its actual eyes. It also has circular, red paw pads on each of its three-toed paws.

"Those are Houndour, a pack of them," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Houndour, the Dark Pokémon. A Dark and Fire Type. Houndour travel in packs and communicate through barks in order to surround their prey."

"Dark Pokémon," Tomo says.

And Jen says, "Houndour."

"Their footprints definitely aren't as scary as they are," Brock says.

Then one of the Houndour tosses the fake sausage as Mew and the others.

Misty turns to Brock, "It doesn't look like it enjoyed your little trick."

"Maybe giving them fake food wasn't such a good idea after all," Brock says.

Misty shouts, "Well maybe you should've thought of that before, Brock!"

Mew spots something atop of the cliff, "Look up there!"

The group soon sees a Houndour and this one has a scar.

"That one must be the leader of the pack!" Brock says.

Soon, the leader Houndour motions for the pack to attack Mew and the others. Mew and the others quickly dodge the attack

"Fine, we'll do this the hard way!" Mew says, and calls out, "Go, Cyndaquil!"

Cyndaquil comes out.

Then Mew calls out, "Chikorita, you go, too!"

Chikorita comes out, and instantly hugs Mew.

Mew it out, we've got a battle to win.

"Those Houndour don't scare me! Go, Stary…" Mew says, and going to call out her Pokemon, by Psyduck comes out.

Then Brock calls out, "Onix, go!"

Then Tomo calls out, "Go Farfetch'd!"

And Galarian Farfetch'd comes out.

"Come on, Lilligant," Jen says, and Hisuian Lilligant comes out.

"Well, at least the Houndour aren't gonna outnumber us anymore! It's an even fight!"

Then the pack charges and one attacks Cyndaquil. Cyndaquill easily dodge the attack.

Mew calls out, "That's right. Save up your energy so you can attack when it gets all tired out, Cyndaquil!"

"Psyduck, use your Water Gun attack!" Misty says.

Psyduck gives it a try and sprays one with a Water Gun.

"Nice work," Misty says.

Mew calls out, "Razor Leaf, and hurry!"

"Lilligant, use Energy ball!" Jen calls out.

Chikorita and Liligan perform the attack, but Houndour charges.

"That sure was a close call," Mew says.

The other Houndour pounces towards Mew, but she quickly dodges as the leader watches.

Mew calls out, "Chikorita, Vine Whip attack!"

"Onix, Tackle attack!" Brock calls out.

Onix charges in, but Houndour dodges as Onix crashes to the ground. Then two Houndour pounce on Onix.

Mew calls out, "Pikachu, use your Thunder Shock, now!"

"Farfetch'd use Brutal Swing!" Tomo calls out.

Both Pikachu and Farfetch'd use the attack and knock the Houndour off Onix.

Cyndaquil continues to dodge, but one of the Houndour strikes. Cyndaquil lands on the ground, but gets up and flares up his back

"Cyndaquil's just getting warmed up," Mew says.

Then calls out, "Go get em with your Flamethrower attack!"

The attack is fire, but the Houndour dodge and stand their ground when they land. Soon, the leader of the pack leaps off and lands in front of Mew and the others.

"What now?" Mew questions.

The leader lands and the others back off.

"What's happening?" Misty asks.

"Looks to me that like the Houndour's leader wants to have a one on one battle with Mew.

"If it wants a battle, we'll give it one," Mew says, "Right, Pikachu?"

Pikachu replies, "Pika!" (Gotcha!)

Soon, the two Pokemon stare each other down until the lead Houndour starts to use Leer.

Brock calls out, "Careful, Mew! Houndour's using its Leer attack!"

"It looks pretty powerful," Misty says.

"Do you think Pikachu can take it?" Jen asks.

"Of course Pikachu can take it!" Mew says, and calls out, "Use your Leer attack right back at Houndour!"

Pikachu uses it as well. They briefly stare each other down. Then Houndour launches Flamethrower. Pikachu dodges.

Mew calls out, "Now, battle it with speed. Use your Quick Attack, Pikachu!"

Piakchu starts running faster, but Houndour stands still until the last moment to evade the attack.

"Houndour's fast!" Mew says.

Then the lead Houndour turns back and towards Pikachu. Then leaps for an attack.

Mew calls out, "Look out, Pikachu!"

Pikachu gets up to notice Houndour pouncing at him, and quickly dodge in time. The Lead Houndour uses Flamethrower to attack.

Mew calls out, "Pikachu, jump away!"

Pikachu jumps up to dodge the attack.

Then Mew calls out, "Use your Thunder attack, Pikachu!"

Pikachu launches the attack, but Houndour dodges in time. Soon, both the lead Houndour and Pikachu breathe heavily. Suddenly, howling is heard from the distance, catching the Houndour's attention. Soon, all the Houndour uses a Smog attack to blind everyone.

"What's that?" Jen asks.

"It must be Houndour's Smog attack!" Brock says.

"I think it has something to do with that howling from the distance. Something must have happened," Mew says.

Then let's follow them," Tomo says.

Everyone begins to follow the pack.

Meanwhile, at the pack's den, a Houndour is being attacked by a Golem. The other Houndour with them, a Shiny one, tries to fight the Golem, but it's struggling. Soon, the leader and the other members arrive on the scene to defend the comrade that collapsed. The leader soon gets in front of the Golem to fight.

"The Houndour that's lying down must belong to their pack," Tomo says.

"I don't think it's lying down, I think it's hurt," Brock says.

"You're right. It's not looking good.

Soon, Jen notices, "Look, Tomo! There's your backpack! And Mew' bag!"

"And the bread! And Nurse Joy's ham!" Jen says.

"Now I understand," Tomo says.

"Me, too," Brock says, "The only reason the Houndour were stealing stuff was so they could help feed their sick friend."

"And the Golem must have come here and started attacking. Soon, the lead Houndour and the Shiny Houndour fire their Flamethrower at the Golem. The Golem curls up, and performs Rollout, knocking them both down.

"It's no use, Houndour! Fire attacks won't work against Golem!" Mew says.

The lead Houndour and Shiny skid to a stop. Then the Golem leaped up to finish the fight. Then the Shiny Houndour uses Dark Pulse and is able to hit the Houndour, but Golem is stronger and strikes it with Rollout. The Golem leaps for another attack.

"Houndour!" Tomo shouts and jumps in.

Mew quickly followed. Mew and Tomo quick;y get the tow Houndour out of Golem's path

"Are, you okay, Houndour?" Mew asks.

Before the two Houndour respond, the Golem charges at them.

Mew stands up and says, "I'll handle this! Use your Razor Leaf attack, Chikorita!"

Chikorita performs the attack and nails it at Golem enough to retreat.

"You did a great job, Chikorita," Mew says.

Brock, maybe you should check on how that Houndour's doing.

"Right. I'll go see," Brock says, and proceeds to look at the injured Houndour.

Seeing the condition, Brock says, "The leg's in bad shape and it's really hurting."

"Is it gonna be okay, Brock?" Mew asks.

"Well, the wound itself isn't that deep, but it's starting to show signs of infection," Brock says, and brings out the Super Potion, "I need to clean it out,"

Two the Houndour growls in anger at Brock, causing him to drop the potion in fright. It's their way of saying back off.

Mew picks up the potion and says, "Take it easy everyone. "Yeah, take it easy. We're just trying to help your friend get better, I promise." and approaches the injured Houndour, "This may sting a little, but it'll help your leg heal."

Mew sprays the Super Potion on the Houndour's leg, but it lets out a painful yelp, causing the rest of the pack to tense up and ready to attack. Mew's Pokemon do the same.

Mew calls out, "Everybody, chill out. "And calls back her pokemon, "Return, Chikorita. You, too, Cyndaquil." Soon, both are returned to their Pokeballs.

"How you feeling, buddy?" Brock asks, and touches the Houndour's forehead. He then realizes something is wrong, "We better do something for this Houndour, quick! It's burning up with fever!"

Mew then turns to the pack and explains, "Okay, you're friend here's in really bad shape, and if we don't get it the Pokemon Center fast, who knows what could happen? I promise I'll get it there safe, Houndour. You just gotta trust me on this."

Mew then begins to pick up the Houndour and places it on her back

"What are you two gonna do?" Misty asks.

"You can't just carry it all the way to the Pokemon Center!" Brock says.

"I can if I have to," Mew says.

However, the other Houndour surround Mew, but the leader tells them to back down.

"Okay?" Mew replies.

Houndour barks, (Okay.)

Mew nods her head, "Thanks for understanding. We'll get it back before you know it."

Just then, the Shiny Houndour barks.

Tomo understands, "This Houndour agreed to come with us. It knows the quickest way to the Pokemon Center."

But before they can leave, "Hold it, twerp!"

Everyone turns to see Team Rocket as they perform the motto.

Jessie:

Don't run away, prepare for trouble!

James:

By all means stay, and we'll make it double.

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation!

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

James!

Jessie:

Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight!

Wobbuffet:

Woooooooobbbbbbbaaaahhhhhhhh... ("That's...")

Meowth kicks Wobbuffet out of the way.

Meowth:

Dat's right!

"Okay, very nice, now leave us alone cause we're in the middle of something important!" Mew says, annoyed.

Jessie laughs, "You're not going anywhere until we get your Pikachu, those Houndour, and that ham they stole from us!"

"So you took the ham from Nurse Joy and the Houndour stole it from you!" Misty says.

Jessie sweat drops, "Well, sort of."

James: does the same, "We usually just steal Pokemon."

"Give us Pikachu, Eevee, and the Houndour and keep the ham!" Meowth says.

"I don't think so, Meowth!" Mew denies.

Pikachu and Eevee do the same. The Shiny Houndour growls trying to protect the others. Soon, the whole pack stands and ready to attack.

The Lead Houndour turns to Mew and the Shiny Houndour.

"Trouble. It just said 'we'll take care of these three jokers, you kids go on ahead'." Mowth says.

"They obviously haven't tangled with the likes of us!" Jessie says.

Mew asks the Leader, "You'll be okay?"

Houndour barks ("Sure.)

"We'll be back as soon as we can!" Mew says.

Shiny Houndour barks, "Follow me)"

Shiny Houndour then led the group off, leaving the rest of the pack to fight.

"Now let's see who the jokers really are! Go!" Jessie says and calls out Arbok

James then calls out his Pokemon, "Go, Victreebel! Go, Weezing!"

James calls his Pokemon, but Victreebel tries to eat James again.

James muffles, "Please help! Let me out of here! Let me out!"

The whole Houndour pack uses Leer, frightening all of Team Rocket's Pokemon.

Jessie sweat drops, and says, "What's that old saying about times like this?

James feels the same, "'When the going get tough, the tough get going'?"

Meowth also sweat drops, "If we get going now, we can still get back to town in time to steal some dinner."

"No way!" Jessie shouts, "Arbok, use your Poison Sting!"

Arbok launches the attack, but the lead Houndour dodges.

Then James calls out, "Weezing, Tackle attack! Victreebel, use your Razor Leaf attack!"

The Houundour effortlessly dodge both attacks and the pack launches a Flamethrower attack at Team Rocket.

"They're nasty!" James cries out.

Team Rocket ducks their heads from the attack, and gets their rears set on fire, forcing them to retreat.

Meanwhile, Shiny Houndour continues to lead the group to the town. And they still have a way to go.

"I can't keep up. I'm all out of breath," Misty says, out of breath.

"Me, too," Brock says.

"Me three," Jen adds.

"I know we're tired, but we still need to get to the city," Mew says, but she trips and falls to the ground.

"Rest, Mew. You can't keep up like this! "Misty says.

"Misty's right, let me carry it for now," Brock says.

Just then, the Shiny Houndour lies down.

"You mean you're gonna carry your friend?" Tomo asks.

Shiny Houndour agrees.

"Okay," Mew says, and places the Houndour on the Shiny one's back

"Alright, let's go," Mew says.

Just then, the Lead and the rest of the pack show up, and help Mew and the others reach the Pokemon Center. Soon, they arrive at the Pokemon Center, with the pack waiting outside.

Mew calls out, "Nurse Joy! Nurse Joy!

Nurse Joy checks the Houndour and says, "It's burning up with fever. We gotta move fast! Get it on the stretcher!"

Mew places it on the stretcher and Nurse Joy and Chansey rush to the critical care unit. Everyone waits patiently for the treatment to be done.

Sometime later, Nurse Joy leaves the room with good news, "The fever's broken. Houndour's gonna be just fine!"

"Alright!" Jen happily says.

"That's great news, right, Houndour? Tomo says.

The Lead Houndour and the Shiny Houndour agree.

"It's great to see a Pokemon care so much about its friends," Misty says.

"It sure is," Brock says.

"I agree.

Suddenly, they hear the pack barking outside. Everyone soon exits the Center, and looks up to see Team Rocket laughing.

"We didn't think we'd give up that easily, did you, twerps?!Jessie says.

"It's payback time for busting up our ham scam!" Meowth says.

"Ham scam?" Nurse Joy says confused.

Then Mew turns to Nurse Joy, "They're the ones who stole the meat out of your grocery back today!"

Nurse Joy gasps in shock.

"Since that didn't work out, we'll take something else instead!" James says, and presses a button on a remote.

The basket of the balloon opens a hatch and launches a net capturing most of the Houndour pack, except for the Leader and Shiny Houndour.

"Stop 'em!" Mew calls out.

"Stop!" Tomo calls out.

Then Mew, Tomo, their Pokemon, and the two Houndour chase after them.

"Hey! We didn't get Pikachu or Eevee," Meowth says.

"Who needs those little runts when we've got plenty of big, strong Houndour?" Jessie says and laughs triumphantly.

"They're too high, we'll never be able to shock em from here!" Mew says.

Then Tomo has an idea, "Houndours, with Pikachu and Eevee on your backs, you gotta jump as high as you can!"

"Great idea, Tomo," Mew says.

The two Houndours agree and let Pikachu and Eevee climb on their backs. Pikachu on Lead Houndour's back, and Eevee on Shiny Houndour. Soon, the group takes pursuit and jumps as high as they can.

Tomo calls out, "Alright, Houndour, now use your Flamethrower to cut that rope!"

The Houndours do so and the pack gently falls to the ground.

Meowth cries out, "Hey! Da Houndour!"

Mew calls out, "Okay, Pikachu, Eevee, jump up and finish em off with a Thunderbolt attack!"

Pikachu and Eevee jump and use their attacks to destroy the Balloon, sending Team Rocket blasting off.

Team Rocket screams, "We're blasting off again!"

"We did it!" Tomo cheers.

"Alright!" Mew cheers

Soon, the Houndour pack charges in and knocks Mew and Tomo to the ground. They press firmly against them and lick their faces.

Mew laughs, "Hey, cut it out!"

"That tickles!" Tomo calls out laughing.

Misty smiles and says, "It's better to take a licking from the Houndour than from Team Rocket."

Early the next day, Houndour recovers and feels better.

"Your friend made a 100% recovery," Mew says.

"Congratulations," Misty says.

"And here's a little something to celebrate," Brock says and hands the Houndour a real sausage.

The healed Houndour enjoys the sausage.

Later, Mew and her friends are walking in the woods. Turns out the Shiny Houndour is very appreciative of Tomo's bravery and her friends', so he decides to tag along with Mew and the others. Suddenly, they hear howls and turn to see the Houndour pack is bidding Mew and her friends, thanking them, and saying farewell to their friend.

"Bye, Houndour! See you all again, someday!" Mew calls out.

"Goodbye!" Tomo says.

Soon, Mew and her friends say goodbye to their new Houndour friend. Tomo has made a new Houndour friend. And so, Mew and the others make their way to Goldenrod City for the next gym battle.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is hanging over a precipice.

Jessie moans, "What's the use of hanging on?"

Wobbuffet shouts, "WOBBBBBBBBBBBB-AHHHHHHHH!" (Help us!)

"That's easy for you to say, Jessie," James says.

Wobbuffet shouts, "WOBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB-AHHHHHHHHHHH!" (Hold on!)

"Ya know what our big mistake wuz?" Meowth says.

Wobbuffet says, "Wobbbb Wuh wob!" (Someone help!)

"We shouldn't have gone out on a limb," Team Rocket says.

And Wobbuffet begs: "Wob." (Please.)
