Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Today on a nice and relaxing day, Mew and her friends are fishing in the river. Since it's a nice and sunny day, some of them are using it to relax and concentrate.

Tomo sighs, "It sure is a nice day and a good day to relax while fishing."

"I agree, but you have to be quiet while fishing," Misty says.

"Sorry Misty," Tomo replies.

Jen yawns, "I'm getting a little sleepy."

"I suppose we've been sitting here for a while, and we haven't caught a thing in hours," Mew says.

Brock brings out his fishing line, "Maybe we're using the wrong bait."

"How long are we gonna have to sit like this?" Tomo asks.

"I know it seems boring, but if we're really quiet, maybe it'll only take another hour," Misty says.

"Okay. I'll try to wait," Tomo says.

Soon, Misty's fishing rod shows signs that she has caught something.

Mew notices, "Hey! You got something!"

"Reel it in, Misty!" Brock says.

"Must be something humongous!" Misty says, trying to pull it in.

"Hang on, Misty!" Jen says.

"Don't let it get away!" Tomo says.

Soon, whatever Misty caught is near the surface

"I can't tell it's gonna be a big one!" Misty says.

Everyone continues cheering as she is almost able to make her catch. As the group cheers for Misty, a Totodile pops its head out of the tall grass to watch.

He replies, "To-tooooh!" (?)

"Steady," Mew days.

Finally, Misty pulls with all her might, and pulls whatever she has caught.

"I got it!" Misty says.

Brock asks, "What is it?"

Dumbfounded, Misty says, "I just caught a tea kettle."

"It put up a pretty good fight, though," Mew says, and giggles.

Tomo laughs, "That's a good one, Mew."

Then Brock asks, "Could you throw it back and catch a coffeemaker?"

"I CAME HERE FOR POKÉMON, NOT APPLIANCES!" Misty angrily says.

Then shows determination, "But now it's obvious, I'm gonna have to use something drastic to get one!"

"What are you gonna use, Misty?" Jen asks

"My secret weapon. Introducing the Mini-Misty Lure!" Misty answers, as she reaches into her bag and pulls a fishing lure that looks like her.

"It looks like her," Brock replies.

Tomo asks, "It won't scare the Pokémon, right?"

"Watch closely, guys. You're about to see the dazzling technique of Misty, the water Pokemon master!" Misty says, and casts her lure into the river.

"Hey, since when are you a Water Pokemon master?" Mew asks.

"Well, technically, I'm not yet, but I don't like to get bogged down with technicalities," Misty says.

She sighs and says, "There's nothing more wonderful in the whole wide world than water Pokemon. When I was a little girl back in Cerulean City, I made a solemn promise to myself to dedicate my life to learning all I can about water Pokemon. Training them to the very best of my ability and always be their friend! I want to capture and train as many water Pokemon as I can, and that's why I'm hoping with all my might to catch one here today."

Tomo whispers, "Misty's kind of scaring me."

"She's almost as scary as that Mini-Misty," Brock says.

"Really? I think it's kind of cute, and sweet that Misty is trying to make friends with Water Pokemon," Mew says.

"Thank you Mew," Misty says.

Just then, the Totodile bursts from the water as he shouts, "To-tooooh-Dile!" (Hi there, humans!)

"Look!" Misty says.

"It's right there!" Brock calls out.

And everyone says, "A Totodile!"

"It's totally adorable!" Misty says.

And Totodile is doing a little dance.

"From the looks of the little dance it's doing, it's a pretty happy one, too!" Brock says.

"Yeah," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.

Dexter days, "Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon. A Water Type. Its highly developed jaw is so powerful, it can crush practically anything. Trainers beware, this Pokemon loves to use its teeth."

"I just knew my patience would pay off and now I've finally found another wonderful Water Pokemon to train," Misty says.

"I sure don't mind catching it," Mrw says.

But Misty says, "Sorry Mew, but this Totodile is mine." and sends her lure to Totodile.

Then it chomps down on it.

"Nice job Misty," Mew says.

"Thank you," Misty says.

But then Totodile spits the lure out.

"What's that matter? Something wrong, Totodile?" Misty asks.

Then Totodile grins and then throws a wink.

Misty grows excited, "DID YOU SEE THAT? TOTODILE WINKED AT ME!"

"I also see that it spit out your lure! And now it's my turn!" Mew says.

Then calls out, "Pikachu, Thunder Shock!"

The attack bounces along the water and hits Totodile.

Then Mew throws her Pokeball, "Pokéball, go!"

The Pokeball hits Totodile and enters the ball. And suddenly, the Totodile escapes.

"Guess you don't catch this Totodile with either," Brock says.

"Looks like we need to put more effort into catching it. Totodile happily dances. Then turns and tries to become friends with the other Pokemon.

"Aww, Totodile is trying to be friendly," Mew says.

Misty then brings out her Pokeball, and now it's my turn.

She then throws her Pokeball, "Pokéball…"

However, the Totodile jumps back onto the rock in the river and uses Water Gun to blast the Pokeball, Mew and her friends. Totodile does a little dance and dive in the water. When Mew and the others return, they see Totodile is gone.

"Where'd that Totodile go?!" Mew asks.

Misty looks around, "I don't know! It was just here!"

"It hasn't been gone long enough to have gotten very far away," Mew says.

"I wonder where it could have gone," Misty says.

Then Mew says, "Come on Misty, let's try to find it. The first one to catch it gets to keep it."

"You're on," Misty says.

Mew turns to Pikacku and Eevee, "Let's go guys."

And The three hurry off.

Misty turns to Brock, "Brock, guys, take care of Togepi and Pichu!"

Then Misty runs off.

Then Jen asks, "So, what do we do?

"It's best we follow them," Brock says.

Soon, everyone follows Mew and Misty.

Meanwhile, the Totodile resurfaces elsewhere, and is becoming hungry. Suddenly, he overhears Team Rocket's voices.

"SNACK TIME!" Jessie and James cheer.

Meowth sighs, "How can ya eat when we're in such a bad way?"

"It's easy!" Jessie happily says

"All you do is get some food, open your mouth, stick it in and chew," James adds.

But Meowth says, "Dat ain't what I mean, I'm scared that da boss is gonna give us da boot if we keep messing up the way we do."

"You have to get rid of that fear," Jessie happily says.

And James says, "Jessie's right, I'm sure we can find brand new ways of messing up."

"We're Team Rocket, messing up at the speed of light!" Jessie says.

And James says, "We may mess up, but we do it right!"

"WOBBBBBBB-UH!" (That's right!) Wobbuffet says.

"You aren't afraid of a little failure, are you, Wobuffet?" Jessie asks.

"Wobbbbbbbuffet" (Not at all.) Wobbuffet says.

Team Rocket begins to celebrate, but Meowth is still in a bad mood. As they celebrate, the Totodile sneaks in and joins the party.

"I wish I felt the way you do," Meowth says, still down.

Jessie and James stop the party to see that Meowth is still down.

"We have to cheer up Mister Misery," James says.

Then Jessie has an idea, "I have just the thing. Have one of these delicious but non-nutritious snack treats!" and presents the treat

But Meowth refuses, "No tanks, I ain't hungry."

Soon, the Totdile comes in and bites Jessie's arm, eating the treat in the process.

James notices, "Hey! Meowth, look!"

"It's a Totodile!" Meowth says, amazed.

Jessie however, begins to panic and swings her arm around, attempting to shake Totodile off and release her arm.

James happily says, "Perfect!"

"Yeah, whenever Jessie's finished with dat spin cycle, we bring that Totodile right to da boss!" Meowth says.

Wobbuffet happily says, "Wobbbbuh, Wobbbbuh! (Success, success!)

"Who told you can come out of your Pokéball?" Jessie shouts and calls Wobbuffet to his Pokeball.

Totodile then eats the rest of the snack, and Team Rock pounces at him. However, Totodile quickly jumps away with a smile.

Meowth shouts, "You get back here!

Come on! Let's get it!" Jessie and James say.

However, Totdile blasts a Water Gun and sends Team Rocket flying off.

Team Rocket cries out, "WE'RE BLASTING OFF ALREADY!"

Totodile celebrates and yet still feels hungry.

Meanwhile, Pikachu and Eevee are sniffing around to search for Totodile. Soon, they notice Totodile

"There's that little cutie! Oh, it's even cuter than the last time I saw it!" Misty happily says.

"Well, it's time to do a little catching," Mew says.

"Well, I'm catching this little Totodile, because I'm using my secret weapon!" Misty says and brings out the Lure Ball.

"Are you going to use the Lure Ball Kurt gave you?" Tomo asks.

"When he gave us these Lure Balls, he said they're the best way to catch water Pokemon. So I'm gonna give it a try," Misty says.

"Good idea," Mew says and brings out her Lure Ball.

"You better keep your eyes open, guys, because you're about to see how a future water Pokémon master captures a Totodile!" Misty says, determined.

"Well then Misty, I wish you the best of luck. I'm very experienced with Pokemon and I plan to catch this one.

Totodile continues to do a dance.

"The only one who seems to be enjoying this whole thing is Totodile," Brock says.

(Seems so.) Pikachu, Eevee, Meloetta, Skwovet, Meloetta, Amaura, and Snubbull agree.

"Pokéball, go!" Mew and Misty then send out their Lure Balls.

Totodile tries to escape, but both Lure Balls hit him and they all land in the bush.

"Yeah!" Misty cheers.

"Got it!" Mew says.

When Mew and the others arrive, they notice something off, both Lure Balls flash red and end up catching something.

"Wait, did we both, caught something?" Mew asks, confused.

"How do we tell which ones which?" Misty asks.

"I'm sure you can both work this out maturely," Brock says.

Mew points to the one on the left, "I think this one's mine" Then points to the other, "Or is it this one."

"Even then, which one of us caught Totodile?" Misty wonders.

"I think we have a serious problem here," Mew says.

"I agree," Brock says and picks up the two Pokeballs. "It's obvious that never one of us knows which Pokeball has the Totodile and I'm sure that neither of you is gonna give up or give in, so that means there's only one fair way to decide which one of you gets to choose which Pokeball to keep."

Mew and Misty come to the same conclusion, "A Pokemon battle!"

Soon, Misty and Mew are ready to battle.

Brock announces, "I will be the judge and referee of this Pokemon match. And until a winner is determined, I will also be in charge of the Pokeballs. You'll each be allowed to use a total of three different Pokemon, and whoever wins the best of three battles wins the match!"

"You know Misty, this could help make up for the match we weren't able to finish back at the Cerulean Gym," Mew says.

"That's true. We weren't able to finish the match so this will be a great re-match for it," Misty says.

Mew turns to Pikachu, "Ready, Pikachu?"

"Pikachu!" (Let's do it!) Pikachu says and jumps into the battlefield.

"I'm sure you remember that Pikachu has gotten stronger," Misty says.

"Okay. Well, I guess we better get started, then," Misty says.

"So which are you going to use?" Mew asks

"Well Mew, I've been saving it for such an occasion. As a matter of fact, I have a secret weapon for battling Pikachu," Misty says.

Curious, Mew asks "What kind of secret weapon are you talking about, Misty?"

"One that's been right in front of your face the whole time! Only, now, you're gonna see it in action!" Misty says, and balls out, "Togepi, go!"

Soon, Togpei looks confused at first, but changes the mood to realize Togpei is going to battle first. Everyone is very shocked to hear and see it with their own eyes.

"We're ready to battle whenever you are," Misty says, determined.

"Are you sure about this, Misty? Togepi has never been in a Pokemon Battle before and Metronome can be unpredictable when he uses it," Mew asks.

"I'm sure. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to give Togepi a chance," Misty says.

"I guess you got a point," Mew says.

Brock calls out, "The first match will be Pikachu vs Togepi! Begin!"

Togpei merrily runs into the battle, but Pikachu is reluctant.

Mew then says, "It's okay Pikachu, let's try small Thunder shocks. More like a tiny zap."

However, Pikachu is very reluctant to fight.

Then Misty calls out, "Okay, Togepi, go give Pikachu a big, gigantic hug!"

Togepi does so, and Pikachu is worried.

"We'll have to attack as soon as it lets go of you, Pikachu," Mew says.

Then Misty says, "Togepi, hit Pikachu with your best, full strength Charm attack!"

Then Togepi does the Charm attack, making Pikachu feel very uneasy.

Suddenly, Togepi begins to perform another attack, catching Mew, Misty, and Pikachu by surprise. Togepi unleashes a powerful pink wind as his little hands glow pink, causing Pikachu to let go and fly into Mew, knocking her down. Pikachu is knocked out and Mew is knocked down.

Brock announces, "Pikachu is unable to battle! Round one to Misty!"

"Looks like she beat us," Mew says.

Misty calls out, "Are you alright?"

Mew sits, "Up, I'm okay, but Pikachu got very winded."

"Yeah. What was that just now?" Misty asks.

Mew stands up as she holds Pikachu, "I think that was Fairy Wind just now."

"Really?" Misty asks, excited. She swoops Togepi into her arms. Yeah! I knew you could do it, Togepi! You won the battle and you've learned Fairy Wind. I'm so proud of you."

Togepi is happy to see his mommy happy.

"Alright Misty, this time…" Mew says, and calls out, "Chikorita, go!"

Chikorita comes out of the Pokeball and hugs Mew.

Mew giggles, "I'm glad to see you too, Chikorita, but we have a battle to win."

Misty then calls out, "Go, Staryu!"

And Staryu comes out of Misty's Pokeball.

Brock announces, "It's Misty's Staryu vs Ash's Chikorita in the second round! Begin the battle!"

Mew calls out, "Chikorita, use your Razor Leaf attack!"

Chikorita launches the attack.

Misty calls out, "Hurry, Staryu! Jump over it!"

Staryu jumps up.

Then Misty says, "Okay, now hit it with your Swift attack!"

Staryu launches the attack at Chikorita, but she uses her leaf to block the stars from her head.

"Fight it off with your Tackle attack, Chikorita!" Mew calls out.

Chikorita charges in and nails Staryu in the center.

Misty calls out, "Come on, Staryu, stand your ground! Battle back with your Water Gun!"

Staryu fires the Water Gun and Chikorita is being sprayed.

"We can't lose this one, Chikorita! Dig in your heels!" Mew calls out.

Chikorita does so and stops in time.

": That's the spirit, Chikorita!" Mew says.

Then Misty says, "That was a nice try Mew, but you don't stand a chance of winning. My Staryu's at a much higher level than Chikorita."

"Never underestimate the power of my Chikorita," Mew says and calls out the next attack, "Chikorita, use Vine Whip attack!"

Chikorita extends her vines.

"Staryu, jump as high as you can and use Tackle!" Misty calls out.

Staryu leaps in the air over Vine Whip and heads towards Chikorita, but she leaps over Staryu with her vines and behind Staryu and catches it with her vines.

Mew calls out, "Now whip it, Chikorita!"

Chikorita swings her vines and slams Staryu in the ground.

"This can't be!" Misty says, shocked.

Everyone else is in shock as well. Soon, Staryu's gem flashes meaning it's out.

Brock announces, "Staryu is unable to continue! Chikorita wins the round!"

Mew picks uo Chikorita and hugs her, "Way to go, Chikorita! You did it!"

Chikorita is so pleased and she snuggles to Mew's cheek.

Meanwhile, Misty cradles Staryu in her arms, "I'm sorry if I pushed you too hard, Staryu, but you know I only did it cause I have a lot of confidence in you." and Staryu concurs.

Misty turns to Mew, "Alright Mew, it's one on one."

"Yeah. And this battle will determine the winner.

Brock announces, "Whoever wins this, wins Totodile."

"Ready Misty!" Mew says.

"Ready!" Misty says.

Soon, both Mew and Misty call out their Pokeballs, "Go!"

"Bulbasaur!" Mew calls out and Bulbasaur is released.

Misty calls out, "Poliwag!" and her Pokemon comes out.

Brock announces, "Let the battle begin!"

Mew calls out, "Bulbasaur, Vine Whip attack!

"Poliwag, use your Double Slap!" Misty calls out.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is floating along on a log in the river.

"I for one hope we never run into that Totodile again," James says, depressed.

Jessie feels the same, "Well, if we ever do it'll be sorry."

But Meowth says, "Oh yeah?! Well, we should be so lucky to run into dat Totodile again!"

"Hmmm?" Jessie and James reply, confused

"What do you mean?" Jessie asks.

"Totodile's the kind of Pokemon that'll get us back on the boss' good side. Now all we gotta do is catch it and it'll be smooth sailing for us from here on in," Meowth says.

Soon, Meowth spots something. A rock in front of them that stops the log and knocks them over and into the water. They soon rise up.

"So much for…" Jessie says.

Soon, Jessie and James look to see Mew and Misty battle.

"Hang in there, Bulbasaur!" Mew calls out.

Misty calls out, "You can do it, Poliwag! Don't give in!"

"Come on, Bulbasaur, knock that squirt on its tail!" Mew calls out.

Confused, James asks, "Why would the twerps be battling against each other?"

"They're probably trying to figure out which one of them is the bigger loser," Jessie sas.

"This may be the time for them to lose Pikachu," James says.

Soon, Meowth resurfaces, "I got a better idea!"

"Alright, let's hear it," Jessie says.

Meowth explains, "If we go barging in on em when they're right in the middle of a battle, they'll just turn on us instead of each other."

"Good point," James says.

Then Jessie asks, "What should we do?"

"We wait till the battle's over and then, when them twoips and dere Pokemon are all pooped out, we pounce on em, grab em, and go," Meowth says.

"I like pouncing," James says.

"We're going to give those twerps every ounce of pounce we've got," Jessie says.

Back to the battle.

Mew calls out, "Bulbasaur, try a Razor Leaf attack!"

"saur!" (Right!) Bulbasaur answers.

And Misty says, "Alright, Poliwag, we're gonna counterattack with your Water Gun!"

Both Pokemon launch the attack, but Poliwag's is stronger.

Mew calls out, "Quick, Bulbasaur! Get out of the way!"

Bulbasaur dodges the attack.

And Mew calls out, "Okay, Bulbasaur, finish it off with a Razor Leaf!"

Bulbasaur launches and strikes at Poliwag with full force.

"Poliwag!" Misty calls out.

Poliwag lands and is supposedly knocked out. Just then, Poliwag begins to glow.

"Look!" Brock says.

"Wow!" Jen says.

"Poliwag must be evolving!" Tomo says.

Soon Poliwag morphs its shape and soon revealed to have evolved into Poliwhirl.

Misty happily says, "My Poliwag just evolved into a Poliwhirl!"

Poliwhirl quickly gets back up.

"Now I'm gonna have a totally new Poliwhirl and a totally new Totodile!" Misty happily says.

"Cool," Mew says, and takes out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Poliwhirl, the Tadpole Pokemon. A Water Type. Its highly developed muscles allow Poliwhirl to move efficiently on land. But it is even more agile in water."

"It'll take more than that to beat me," Mew says, and calls out, "Bulbasaur, Tackle attack that Poliwhirl!"

Bulbasaur charges.

Then Misty calls out, "Poliwhirl, Body Slam attack!"

Poliwhirl charges and the attacks collide, Poliwhirl is proven stronger.

"Use your Razor Leaf!" Mew calls out.

Bulbasaur launches the attack, forcing Poliwhirl back.

"Are you okay, Bulbasaur? Can you keep battling?" Mew asks.

"Bulba!" (Sure can!) Bulbasaur answers

"Bulbasaur gets an A for effort." Misty says.

Then Mew calls out, "Bulbasaur, use Solar Beam attack!"

Bulbasaur charges for the attack.

"A Solar Beam attack takes a while, so while we're waiting, Poliwhirl, Bubble attack!" Misty calls out.

Poliwhirl launches the attack at Bulbasaur.

"Bulbasaur, hurry!" Mew calls out.

Nice work, Poliwhirl!" Misty says.

Mew calls out, "Bulbasaur, we need that Solar Beam right away!"

Poliwhirl continues to fire as Bulbasaur gets weaker all the time, until the last attack is ready.

"Let that Solar Beam loose, right now!" Mew calls out.

Bulbasaur launches the Solar beam with full force and Poliwhirl is knocked down.

Misty rushes to Poliwhirl, "Poliwhirl! Are you okay?"

Poliwhirl confirms with a nod.

"Thanks, Poliwhirl. I know you evolved just to try and help me win," Misty says.

Soon, Pikachu and Eevee rush to me to congratulate Mew.

"We have a winner! Victories by Chikorita and Bulbasaur give Mew the best two out of three!" Brock says.

"We did it, guys. We won," Mew says.

"That was an amazing match. And you won your choice fair and square," Brock says.

"Thanks," Brock says.

"I'll choose…" Mew says.

But she is interrupted when firecrackers appear and are poured on by confetti. Team Rocket come in their disguises, in can can dresses.

Jessie and James cheer, "Hip hop hooray!"

We're from the local Pokemon Auxiliary Ladies, and we're here to congratulate you," Jessie says.

"But after all that fussin, an fightin', and such, I reckon these little cute critters are plum tuckered out," James says.

And Wobbuffet appears, "WOBBBBBBBBBBUH!" (Very.)

"What are you trying to do, you blue blob?! Sabotage our plan!" Jessie says.

"Go take a hike!" James says and throws Wobbuffet away.

"Those aren't Auxiliary Ladies!" Misty says.

"It's Team Rocket!" Tomo says.

"With odd outfits," Mew points out.

And Team Rocket performs the motto.

Jessie:

Don't be distressed, just prepare for trouble!

James:

Whem I get out of this dress, you better make it double!

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation!

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

James!

Jessie:

Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight, fight!

Wobbuffet:

WOBBBBBUFF... ("That's...")

Meowth jumps on Wobbuffet and knocks it down.

Meowth:

Hey, get your own line!

And chuckles.

That's right!

"Not you again!" The group calls out.

"Well, now that you little twoips are all worn out from battling, we'll take that Pikachu off your hands!" Meowth says.

But Mew says, "Not so fast! We've got a new friend who's rested and ready to chomp on some chumps!"

Pikachu and Eevee agree, "That's right."

Soon, Mew calls out, "Pokeball, go!"

And soon, the Totodile comes out of the Pokeball.

Jessie and James panic, "IT'S GONNA BITE US!"

"We bit off more than we can chew!" Meowth cries out.

Wobbuffet panics, "Wobb…" (Oh, no!)

Totodile then bites on Jessie's hair. She panics and swings Totodile.

Jessie cries out, "It bit me again! It's got my hair! Get this thing off me!"

Jessie is able to shake Totodile off, but notices he has taken some of her hair.

"My hair's ruined!" Jessie cries out.

Then calls out, "Arbok, go!"

Then turns to James in anger, "Well, don't just stand there looking helpless, help me!"

James calls out, "Go, Weezing!"

"Arbok, forget Pikachu and get that Totodile!" Jessie shouts.

Arbok charges in.

Mew calls out, "Totodile, Bite attack, now!"

Totodile clamps down on Arbok's tail.

"Great!" Mew says, "Now whip it around!"

Totodile does so and sends Arbok flying at Meowth.

"Nice shot," James says.

Totodile starts dancing in celebration.

"I wonder why that Totodile's dancing," Misty wonders.

"I'd dance too if I just clobbered Meowth and Arbok," Brock says

James calls out, "Weezing, retaliate with a sloppy Sludge attack!"

Weezing fires, but Totodile dances along as it dodges, dumbfounding Team Rocket.

"The jig's up," Meowth says.

"For us. But that Totodile's still doing it," James says.

Mew calls out, "Totodile, finish it off with your Scratch attack!"

Totodile effortlessly scratches Weezing.

"Weezing! Don't stand for that!" James calls out.

Soon, Weezing crashes right into Team Rocket.

"Great!" Mew cheers, "Now hit em with your Water Gun, now!"

Totodile fires the attack and sends Team Rocket flying again.

"Those twerps made fools of us again!" Jessie shouts in anger.

"Yes, and the pathetic part is that we didn't even need their help this time," James says.

"Well, it's like I always say…" Meowth says.

"Team Rocket's blasting off again! " Team Rocket calls out.

Wobuffet screams, "WOHHHHHHHHHH!" (Whoa!)

"That was great, Totodile," Mew says.

"I've never seen a Pokemon that's as happy and energetic as this Totodile," Misty says.

Totodile soon starts dancing around with Pikachu and Eevee.

Mew giggles, "I love Totodile. He's fun."

"Well, Mew, I couldn't have handled that Totodile any better myself," Misty says.

"Thanks," Mew says

"We've been friends for a long time, so I think it's important for you to know that I've decided that I'm not jealous that you won Totodile. After all, you caught it first, as seen on the camera. Especially since I've had a chance to think about the way things turned out," Misty says.

"That's a very mature way to look at it, Misty," Brock says.

Mew says, "Yeah. You have other reasons to be happy."

"You got a point. Poliwag evolved, Togepi won his first battle and learned a new move," Misty says.

"But what's in the other Lure Ball?" Tomo wonders.

"Hmm, I guess we'll find out," Misty says and takes the other Lure Ball.

Misty then tosses it into the air, "Come on out!"

And soon enough, to everyone's surprise, they see a Totodile, a Shiny Totodile standing in front of them.

Misty is very happy, "AAAAAAAAAHH! I got a Totodile of my own!"

The Shiny Totodile turns to Misty and presents a flower to her.

"Oh, thank you," Misty says, and takes the flower.

"Aww, that's sweet," Mew says.

Then Misty picks up the Shiny Totodile, "I'm glad to have you, even if you didn't expect it."

Mew picks up her Totodile, "And I'm glad to have you."

Well, this day has been an eventful one. Mew and Misty each are able to catch a Totodile. Togepi won his first Battle and has learned a new move. Poliwag has also evolved into Poliwhirl. And with that, Mew and her friends continue their adventure to Goldenrod City.
