Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Mew and her friends continue their journey to Goldenrod City, their next stop on their journey through Johto. Now, everyone decides to take a pitstop.

"Hey, guys. Why don't we stop here?" Misty says.

Then Brock asks, "Who wants me to start cooking up my famous beef stew?"

I do!" Everyone happily says.

Pikachu, Eevee, and the other Pokemon already out are starting to play.

Misty calls out, "Okay Goldeen, Staryu, Poliwhirl, Shiny Totodile, Golduck, Psyduck, Mudkip, and Piplup, time to play!

Soon, all the Pokemon come out and dive into the water.

Misty says, "Don't forget to always swim with a buddy!"

Psyduck comes out of the water and splashes into the water. Then Psyduck begins to swim.

Mew then calls out her Pokemon, Come on out, Totodile, Lapras, Lugia, Dratini. Come out and swim, buddy!"

Soon, the Pokemon come out and are beginning to swim.

"They're having a blast, aren't they?" Misty says.

"Yeah," Mew replies.

"Pokemon need to have fun just as much as their trainers do," Brock says.

Soon, Totodile spots some Magikarp splashing about in the distance. Excited, Totodile starts juggling them with his Water Gun.

"Wow, Totodile's talented!" Misty says, amazed.

"Yeah, and it certainly knows how to hog the spotlight," Brock says.

Mew grins and says, "Well, that's because Totodile a real ham."

"Pikachu!" (You said it!) Pikachu says.

"Vee! Eevee Eevee!" (Yeah! What a real ham!) Eevee says.

The Pokemon continues to play in the water happily. Totodile floats contentedly on his back and lightly drums his tummy.

Totodile sings, "To-to, TO!"

Suddenly, Totodile hears another Pokemon singing. Meloetta hears it too. Two follow the sound of the voice and look to see another Pokemon singing.

The song is soft and happy, "Azuma-rill, Azuma-rill, A-zuma, zuma-rill!"

The source of the song is a blue, bipedal semiaquatic leporine Pokémon that has an ovoid body. The lower half of its body is white with a white, bubble-like pattern above it, which helps to camouflage it in water. It has elongated, rabbit-like ears with red insides and circular eyes. When in the water, it rolls up its ears to prevent the insides from becoming wet. Its arms and feet are short with rounded ends and no discernible digits. It has a black zigzagging tail with a blue, bubble-like tip. The tip of its tail tends to glow when it attacks or is excited. And appears to have a pink ribbon on her tail.

Seeing the lovely Aqua Rabbit sing, Totodile has been struck by Cupid's bow and arrow. He then zooms down, skidding to a stop in front of the Pokemon.

The Pokemon looks surprised, "Zu?" (Huh?)

Totodile giggles, "Toto-toto-toto-toto! (Hey! I'll be your friend! I'll be your friend! Pick me! Pick me!)

"Azu?" (Friend?) The Pokemon says, confused

"Toto-toto-toto!" (This is how I feel!) Totodile says, and fires his Water Gun in the shape of a heart.

And Totodile says, "Toto! Toto! Totodile! Toto, dile?" (Come on! Come on! You said you needed someone! Well, how about me?)

"AZUMARILL!" (YOU'RE NOT MY TYPE!) The Pokemon angrily says and blasts Totodile away with Water Gun.

Meloetta flies to the Pokemon and says, "Melo Meloetta Melo Meloetta." I'm sorry. I hope my friend didn't scare you.)"

"Azumarill Azumarill. Zu Azumarill." (It's okay, no harm done. I have to get going) The Pokemon says and takes her leave.

Totodile quickly follows.

Meloetta says, "Loetaa Mel," (toTodile, come back.) and follows them.

Meanwhile, Brock is cooking beef stew, "This is my best yet! It's as almost as good as the kind in a can! Huh?" and sees a Golduck come out of the bushes.

Mew and the others noticed too.

"Look, guys! It's a Golduck!" Mew says.

"A chance like this doesn't come along very often. I'm gonna catch it before it gets away!" Misty says eagerly and brings out her Pokeball.

But Brock stops her, "Wait a second, Misty. Let's find out what that Golduck's doing here first."

Everyone watches to see Godluck's movement.

"It looks like it's looking around for something," Tomo says.

"Skwovet," (Maybe.)

"Maybe it's just looking for a trainer like me to catch it," Misty replies.

"Maybe Golduck already has one? Jen suggests.

Suddenly, they hear a voice, "Golduck!"

Suddenly, a young woman with red hair, a blue ribbon, a light blue shirt and light orange pants. She also has Pidgey on her shoulder.

The girl asks, "Have you had any luck yet?"

(Nothing.) Golduck answers.

"Oh dear, where could it be?" The girl says, concerned.

Soon, Brock is lovestruck, "Aaaaahhh!"

"It's never been gone this long," the young lady says, still worried.

Just then, Brock comes over to the girl and gets all romantic again, "Pardon me, Miss. Perhaps I could be of service to you? The name's Brock and here's how you spell it. It's B like in Big, Brave Blastoise, R like in Rational Raichu, O like in Oddish, C like in Charizard and finally K as in confounding Kadabra! Want to know my last name?"

"Nooot, really," The girl says, sounding uneasy.

"Now that you know my name, what's yours?" Brock asks.

The girl soon answers, "Well...Everybody calls me Trixie."

"TRIXIE!" Brock says, getting excited, "OH, what a simply magical name! My heart soars like a Spearow! Just the sound of that sweet name makes me feel like there's a flock of fluttering Butterfree in my stomach!" And takes Trxie's hand, "Perhaps we could get together and discuss the origins of that name of yours sometime!? Anytime."

"I... don't know," The girl says, sounding uneasy.

Misty then grabs Brock's ear again and pulls him away, "Okay, that's it, show's over, Casanova."

Jen and Tomo laugh.

Mew turns to the girl and says, "Sometimes, my friend Brock goes goofy when he meets pretty girls like you."

"I see," Trixie replies.

Then Mew asks, "Excuse me, but did you and your Golduck lose something?"

"Yes, we're both looking everywhere to try and find my Azumarill," Trxie says.

"Azumarill?" Mew replies, confused.

And right on cue, Azumarill comes running over to Trixie and Mew.

"There you are!" Trixie says relieved.

And Azumarill runs behind Trixie's legs.

Trixie asks, "Azumarill, what's wrong?"

"Aww, she's so cute," Jen says.

"I gotta check this out," Mew says and brings out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Azumarill, the Aqua Rabbit Pokémon, the evolved form of Marill. A Water and Fairy Type. This Pokemon uses its large, highly developed ears to hear great distances, even underwater."

"I don't know why, but Azumarill looks like she's scared of something," Mew says.

Just then, Totodile comes out of the bushes, "To-to-dile! ("?")"

"It's Totodile!" Misty and Mew reply.

Meloetta follows after.

"Hey Meloetta, glad to see you," Tomo says.

Meleotta smiles and flies back to Tomo.

Seeing Azumarill, Totodile rushes to her, but trips and falls to the ground.

"Are you alright, Totodile?" Mew asks.

Totodile gets up and blows kisses at Azumarill, but she turns her nose up at him. She soon notices Golduck, and her mood changes to shyness. Mew soon notices and wonders.

Later, Mew and the others gather at the circus tent where Trixie actually works.

"A Pokemon circus?" Mew asks.

"When I was little, I loved the circus, and I love Pokemon, so I taught all my Pokémon tricks that were best suited to their special abilities. And now they all perform in our show," Trixie says.

"Sounds pretty cool," Tomo says.

"Yeah. Kind of reminds me of Will's circus," Mew says.

"Really? You met Will of the Elite Four?" Trixie asks.

"We did. I got a little Hattenna," Jen says.

"And Mew was given an Alakazam that was retiring," Tomo says.

"Amazing. Truth is. I was kind of inspired by Will to start the circus too," Trixie says.

"Sounds cool," Mew says.

"Yeah, it must be a lot of fun," Misty says.

"It is," Trixie says, and turns her head, "But we've been having a little problem with our star. My Azumarill's been acting, different."

"Different how?" Jen asks.

Trixie explains, "Temperamental, sometimes it just disappears right before showtime."

"THAT's why Golduck was looking for it," Mew says.

Trixie explains, "Yeah. Before my Golduck joined the circus, Azumarill was a happy Pokemon, who wouldn't dream of causing any trouble. But now we spend more time chasing after Azumarill than we do training for our shows."

Soon, Brock walks past carrying a light, "Coming through! Man at work! Watch your back!"

"What are you doing with that light, Brock?" Misty asks.

"What does it look like I'm doing, Misty? I'm helping to set up the next show. Don't worry, I'll make sure everything's perfect. Perfect just like you are, Trixie!" Brock answers.

"Uh, thank you, Brock," Trixie says, sounding skeptical.

Soon Totodile comes along carrying a small inflatable pool on the stage, and fills it up with water.

"Totodile, what are you doing up there?" Mew asks.

"Maybe your Totodile's decided to help out, too," Trixie says.

Totodile nods happily,"

"Oh, that's wonderful! Thank you!" Trixie says.

Just then, Totodile charges off and returns carrying the shocked Azumarill, and puts her in the pool

"Azumarill?" Trixie says, confused.

Totodile shows his lovestruck, but Azumarill sprays him with water.

"Azumarill!" Azumarill says with huff and says.

"What's making Totodile act so goofy?" Tomo asks.

"Yeah. He's been acting funny today," Jen adds.

Misty then turns to the two, "Maybe you'll understand these things when you're a little older and more mature."

Suddenly, Brock says, "AZUMARILL'S PLAYING HARD TO GET! DON'T YOU GIVE UP ON HER, TOTODILE!

"On second thought, maybe not," Misty replies.

Later, the circus is underway as the crowd enters the big top.

The Ringmaster announces, "Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on Trixie and her fascinating Marill!"

Trixie tips her hat, Marill hops inside, Trixie taps her hat with her cane as she counts, "One, two...three!"

In seconds, a flock of Pidgey flies out of the hat and over the heads of the audience before flying back in the hat. Trixie puts her hat back on and taps it three times with her cane. When she removes her hat, Marill appears on top of her head.

Everyone applauds and laughs.

"Hey, how did she do that!?" Tomo asks, amazed.

"Trixie's really amazing," Mew says.

"The Pokemon are too," Jen says.

"I agree," Mew says.

And Brock says, "She sure is. And her magic act's not that bad either!"

Then the Ringmaster announces, "And now, the moment you've been waiting for! Get ready for the amazing Azumarill Splash-tacular Water Extravaganza!"

The curtains open and the audience applauds.

"This is gonna be great!" Brock says.

Azumarill throws the juggling ball and begins juggling them with her Water Gun in the shape of a heart. And then performs other tricks.

"Azumarill rules!" Misty says.

"No wonder Azumarill's the star of the show," Mew says.

Suddenly, Totodile escapes from Mew's grasp and tries to join in on the act. Seeing the performance, the audience throws streamers at Totodile's Water gun, juggling them in the shape of a heart. Azularill notices this, stops her act, and leaves the stage in a huff

"Come on, get down here!" Mew says, and rushes to the stage to get Totodile, "Let's go!"

Totodile notices Azumarill leaving and rushes after her, leaving Mew, Pikachu and Eevee to catch the fruit. The audience applauded with glee.

Mew chuckles, "Thanks, everybody."

"Mew saved the show, but his Totodile almost ruined it," Misty says.

"Yeah. I think I better do something about this," Brock says.

"Huh?" Misty, Tomo, and Jen say, confused.

And Brock says, "Don't worry, Totodile, I'm gonna teach you how to be successful in love just like me!"

"You?" Misty says, confused.

Little do Mew and her friends know, Team Rocket has been watching the show from behind the entrance curtain.

"Pretty impressive!" Jessie says.

They put on quite a show," James replies.

Meowth angrily says, "Yeah, well, I don't care how good it is, I don't want that Totodile using my tail as a chew toy again!"

But James says, "We don't need to take the Totodile. If we just steal Pikachu and Azumarill, we can still start our own traveling circus!"

"And we'll be rich in no time," Jessie says.

And Team Rocket chuckles greedily.

"Alright, let's get ready for Operation: Circus Swipe!" Jessie says.

Aye aye, sir!" James and Meowth salute.

Later, Mew apologizes to Trixie, "Trixie, I feel really bad about wrecking your show this afternoon."

But Mew says, "Don't be silly, you didn't wreck it Mew, the crowd really loved it. I only wish that Azumarill could learn that, sometimes, we have to share the spotlight."

Soon, Misty walks over and asks, "Mew, have you seen Brock around here anywhere?"

"Not since the show, why?" Mew replies.

"I wonder where he could've disappeared to. Maybe he's with Totodile," Misty wonders.

Outside, Brock is indeed with Totodile, trying to help him.

"Okay, listen up. Love is war, and if you want to win a war, you gotta use ammunition!" Brock says, and holds out a small jar with a water drop picture labeled on it: and has a pink ribbon around the top. "I bet Azumarill will love a jar of my home-made Pokemon treats! Give her this and I bet she'll call a truce, or even an unconditional surrender!"

Then Brock gives the jar to Totodile. Totodile happily takes it and walks to Azumarill.

"Be fearless! Courage leads to victory!" Brock says.

Totodile tries to give Azumarill the treat, but she refuses. Totodile stares with a confused look before Azumarill runs off. Totodile follows after her.

Seeing what happened, Brock says, "This could be a long war."

Azumarill continues to run away, but a net launches at her and captures her. Then begin to drag her away. Shocked, Totodile stops short, then gives chase.

Brock cries out, "Oh, no!" Witnessing what happened.

Azumarill continues to be chased, and Totodile continues to chase after them.

Brock calls out, "AZUMARILL! TOTODILE!"

Suddenly, Mew's voice appears, "Hey, Brock!"

Brock turns to see the others rushing to him.

"We heard you yelling," Misty says.

"And Tomo asks, "What's the matter, Brock?"

"Just look there!" Brock says.

Everyone turns in shock to see Azumarill is being dragged away in the net. Totodile leaps in to rescue her, but misses. Then hears Team Rocket's voices laughing triumphantly as they ride away in their balloon. Soon, they begin to perform the motto.

Jessie:

Prepare for trouble, and that's not a joke!

James:

Make it double, we just caught a Poke!

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie:

Jessie.

James:

James.

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender now, we're in the spotlight!

Meowth:

Meowth, dat's right!

"TEAM ROCKET!" Everyone shouts.

"What's the matter, twerp patrol? Is Pikachu saving electricity?" Jessie calls out.

Mew turns to her friends, "Pikachu, let's try a Thunderbolt attack! Eevee, try to use Swift Attack!"

Pikachu and Eevee lift into the air.

"Now, we gotcha!" Meowth says and pulls out a bazooka.

He fires a cage at the pair, trapping them both in midair.

Mew cries out, "Pikachu! Eevee!"

The two Pokemon try to use their attacks, but nothing's working as Team Rocket laugh in triumph as they hoist them up too.

"I hope you ain't too shocked that we stole your Eevee and Pikachu!" Meowth says.

And Jezzie says, "The cage worked perfectly."

James throws his Pokeball, "Weezing, give em your Smokescreen!"

Weezing is released and does so, blinding Mew and the others. Meanwhile, Totodile crawls through the smoke and tries to rescue Azumarill, but as Azumarill struggles, her ribbon falls from her tail, which Totodile catches.

"See ya later!" Meowth calls out.

Jessie and James do the same, "After while, Totodile!"

Totodile is angrily, and shouts, ""TOOOOOOOOOOOOO- TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" (I'LL SAVE YOU YET!) and leaps into the water and swims across the lake after the balloon.

Seeing Totodile, Mew calls out, "Totodile wait!"

"Totodile come back!" Tomo calls out.

"Don't go!" Jen shouts.

"This is too dangerous for Totodile!" Misty panics.

Brock calls out, "TOTODILE!"

But Totodile continues swimming after the balloon with incredible speed.

Later, Mew and the others explain to Trixie what has happened.

Trixie gasps in shock, "You mean it's gone?!"

"Team Rocket came and Poke-napped Azumarill and Pikachu, and it was all my fault, Trixie," Brock says.

Misty turns to Brock, "Stop the slobbering! Team Rocket's probably headed for the forest on the other side of the lake. I say we head there, too."

Everyone nods in agreement.

"We better hurry. There's no time to lose. If they get away, we may never get the chance to see Azumarill, Eevee, Pikachu, and Totodile again," Mew says.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket has landed and are trying to coax Azumarill into doing her act

Jessie asks, "Come on, Azumarill. Let's see one of your showstoppers."

"The show's already stopped," James says.

And Meowth says, "At least do a bunny hop or sometin!"

Azumarill turns her head away , "ZU!" (No!)

Jessie grunts angrily, "Well maybe this little Prima-Donna has to be whipped into shape!"

Jessie pulls out a whip and whips the ground just in front of Azumarill, but Azumarill still refuses.

"Don't be so barbaric, Jessie!" James says to Jessie.

Then grins to Azumarill, "Ignore her, Azumarill! We want you to be happy, and we know that performing makes you very happy, so how about a little happiness!?"And tosses the ball her way

But Azumaill simply slaps it back with her tail, sending it thumping into his face and leaving a big red mark. She then turns around and blasts Jessie's face and hair with her Water Gun.

Jessie growls angrily, "I'm not going to let this Aqua Rabbit mess with my hair!

James hisses, "And I am not going to let it mess with my mind!"

But Meowth stops them, "If you mess with dis Azumarill we won't have a show and we won't have money!"

Wobbuffet does the same, "WOBBBBBBBBBBBB-UH!" (He's right.)

"Alright," Jessie says and recalls Wobbuffet.

"Zu!" Azumarill replies with a huff and crosses her arms.

Meanwhile, Totodile continues searching for Azumarill until he finds the Meowth balloon.

Back at the cabin, Team Rocket treats Azumarill to a splendid dinner

Jessie grumbles, "I still don't see why we have to suck up to this circus freak."

James whispers, "You heard Meowth, Jess. We have to treat Azumarill like a star."

Meowth happily says, "Well, it's all for you, star."

But still, Azumarill turns her nose up.

"AHH!" Meowth cries out in dismay.

Jessie growls in anger, "Now, listen, you! We've tried being nice and we've tried being nasty."

"And if it's all the same to you, we prefer sticking with nasty!" James says.

Azumarill mumbles as she turns her head away, "Zu!"

Jessie loses her temper, AHHHH! I've had it with you!"

"You leave us no choice, we're forced to use force!" James says.

Azumarill actually grows worried.

Jessie and James begin to pounce toward Azumarill, "Here we…"but end up getting sprayed by Water Gun and crashing into the table.

"Now that, was nasty," James says.

Turns out the one performing the attack is Totodile,

Totodile shouts, "Toto-toto!" (Let them go!)

Pikachu happily calls out, "Pika Pika!" (Totodile!)

"Eevee!" (You're here!) Eevee happily says.

Uneasy, Meowth says, "Hey, look who's the hero."

"Totodile?!" James and Jessie question.

Totodile charges towards them, but Meowth throws a ring at them, "Well, this oughta stop ya!"

The black ring shuts Totodile's jaw so he can't attack, and is wrangled by some rope.

"Now, with a Totodile, we're gonna put on a really big show! We got enough for a tree ring circus!" Meowth says.

"I guess today must be our lucky day," Jessie and James say.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are still searching for Team Rocket and the Pokemon, with Trixie and Golduck.

Trixie calls out, "Azumarill!"

Mew calls out, "Pikachu! Eevee!"

"I thought for sure we would've found them by now," Misty says.

"Yeah, so did I. We've been looking all day," Brock says.

"It'll be getting dark soon," Trixie says, "Do you think we should start searching again tomorrow morning?"

"Yeah, fine," Mew says.

Then shows determination, "We'll find you."

Later in the night, Team Rocket are fast asleep, and talking in their sleep.

Jessie happily moans, "Please give my compliments to the chef."

"I'll have anudder bowl of milk, and don't be stingy wit da cream," Meowth says.

Then James says, "This steak is too well done. Take it back and make it rare."

The four Pokemon sit sadly in their cages. Azumarill looks out the window to see the moon and begins crying. She really misses Trixie and wants to go home. Totodile shows Azumarill her ribbon. Azumaril takes the ribbon and wipes her tears away, before Totodile begins dancing for her. Azumarill starts to giggle as Totodile happily dances. Totodile is happy that Azumarill cheered up.

The next day, Mew and the others continue their search.

Trixie says to her Pidgey, "Alright, Pidgey, try to find that balloon. And hurry!"

She then releases Pidgey and gets to searching.

Mew calls out her Pokemon,"Fearow! Aerodactyl! Chatot! Go!"

Soon, the three Pokemon will come out.

Mew says, "Try to find Team Rocket and their Balloon, and hurry!"

The three Pokemon nod in response and fly in the air to search.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket exits the cabin with ill-gotten gains.

James' stomach growls, "I wish we had eaten all that food."

"Well, that's what we get for trying to be nice to a Pokemon on an empty stomach," Jessie says.

The three villains then load Azumarill and the other Pokemon into the basket. Pikachu, Eevee, and Totodile shout.

But Meowth says, "Hey, pipe down, Pikachu."

"Who cares if our Pokemon circus scheme didn't pan out? Even if Azumarill won't perform, the boss will pay us handsomely for three rare Pokemon," Jessie says.

Meowth laughs, "Yeah!"

"Let's, go!" James says.

The Balloon soon begins to take off, but the four flying Pokemon spot them

Chatot flies to Mew and the others and points to the sky.

Mew looks up, "There's Team Rocket' balloon!

Trixie calls out, "Pidgey! You know what to do!"

"Fearow, help Pidgey out!" Mew calls out.

Both Pokemon agree and they both fly to the Balloon and use their beaks to pop holes on it. Team Rocket panics and the balloon crashes to the ground. Then Pikachu, Eevee, and Totodile's cage roll away.

"Pikachu!" Mew shouts and catches Pikachu's cage.

Tomo reaches out and catches Eevee's cage, "Got you, Eevee!" (catches Pikachu's cage)

"Gotcha!" Brock says and catches Totodile's cage.

"Alright, give us back that Azumarill!" Jen demands.

But Jessie says, "No! Why can't you twerps be satisfied with three out of four Pokemon!

"We only got one star to hang on to and we ain't lettin go!" Meowth says.

Then Trixie calls out, "Golduck, go get her, now!"

Golduck charges in.

James calls out, "Go, Weezing!"

Jessie does the same, "Arbok, you, too!"

Both Pokemon come out of the Pokeball, but Goldcuk blast them both with Hydro Pump

Mew then calls out, "I choose you, Bulbasaur!" and Bulbasaur is released.

Mew calls out, "Use your Razor Leaf, Bulbasaur!"

Bulbasaur uses the attack to break the cage the three Pokemon are in, along with the ring around Totodile's mouth.

Mew calls out, "Use your Water Gun, Totodile!"

Totdile hits all three of Team Rocket with rapid fire Water Gun while Bulbasaur gets Azumarill.

Meowth cries out, "Our star!"

Then Mew says, "Okay, hit em with your Thunderbolt, Pikachu! You too, Eevee!"

The two then perform Thunderbolt and launch them at Team Rocket. That sends them all blasting off.

Team Rocket cries out, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

Everyone cheers and celebrate

Mew turns to Bulbasaur, "Bulbasaur, get Azumarill out of there."

Bulbasaur used Razor Leaf to release Azumarill. Then Azumarill runs happily forward in tears.

Brock whispers to Totodile, "You've won the war of love, now run to her and claim your victory."

Totodile feels so pleased to see Azumarill running his way. However, she runs to Golduck instead, shocking everyone, but Trixie. The two Pokemon are hugging each other.

"I don't get it. Why are those two hugging each other?" Tomo asks.

Misty whispers to Tomo, "Azumarill really likes Golduck, but not poor Totodile."

Soon, Trixie understands, "Now I see! This explains why Azumarill's been acting so strangely! She's been lovesick over Golduck!"

Totodile is still shocked.

Brock says to Totodile, "You can't expect to win every single battle. But love's worth fighting for, and if you're brave and courageous and never quit, you can come out a winner! Just like me."

Later, everyone is back at the circus ready to bid Trixie farewell.

"Well, it was really great to meet you, Trixie," Mew says.

"Oh, it was great meeting all of you, too," Trxie says, and turns to Aumarill, "Thanks to you, Azumarill's secret's out and we're happy again."

Misty growls angrily, "Hang it up, Brock." and pulls him away.

"Okay, you guys, let's get going!" Mew says, but soon notices Totodile staring at something.

Curious, Mew walks over, "Hey Totodile, what are you doing?"

Mew and Totodile look to see another Azumarill, but look sad. Totodile then walks up to Azumatill and tries to talk to her. Soon, Azumarill begins to talk back to Totodile

Confused, Tomo says, "I think Totodile just found a new girlfriend."

"Oh, great. Just what we need. A Pokemon that acts just like Brock," Misty says.

Brock gives Totodile encouragement, "Okay, boy. Hit her with everything I taught ya and don't give up till you win her!"

Totodile and Azumarill talk to each other and their expressions change from sad, shock, and other emotions. Soon, the two smile and nod their heads. Then the two walk to Mew

"Yes Totodile?" Mew asks.

Totodile then begins to explain to Mew about what he and Azumarill talk about.

"I see," Mew says.

"What Totodile said?" Jen asks.

"Apparently this Azumarill was abandoned by her trainer a few days ago, because she lost to a trainer with Grass Pokemon and called her weak. Totodile explained to her that she just needed a good trainer to help be strong and ask me to be her trainer," Mew says.

"Poor Azumarill," Jen sadly says.

Mew kneels to Azumaill, "Azumarill, would you like to come with me and Totodile. I promise to help you be strong and Totodile and my other Pokemon can help."

Azumarill sounds unsure and turns to Totodile. Totodile nods his head. Azumarill turns to Mew and nods her head.

"Alright then, welcome to the team," Mew says and taps her Pokeball on Azumarill's head.

And Azumarill goes in the Pokeball. With a few shakes, and a ping, Azumarill is caught.

Mew then releases Azumarill and smiles. Azumrill smiles with glee. Even Totodile smiles and dances, Azumarill giggles.

"Come on guys, let's get going," Mew says.

Everyone then begins leaving with a new friend by their side. Everyone, especially Totodile, learned that courage, persistence and passion are the only sure fire ways to success. Now the group continue their adventure across the Johto League and continue to make their way to Goldenrod City.
