Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Today, Mew and her friends find a Pokemon Center to take a break, when they hear small kids talking about something interesting, while gathering around a book.

One little girl says, "It says that I'm a Bulbasaur type, and this Pokémon fortune telling book is almost always right."

Misty walks over to the kids and asks, "Hey, what's Pokémon fortune telling?"

The first girl gasps in surprise, "I thought everybody knew about the Pokémon fortune telling book."

"Huh?" Misty says, confused.

"It's easy. You look up your birthday and it says what Pokémon type you are," The second little girl says.

Then the third little girl says, "It says that I'm a Squirtle type.

Soon, Misty begins to take interest, "That sounds like fun. Can I take a look?"

But the first little girl says, "I'm sorry, but I'm not supposed to give it to anybody."

"If you want to get one, the nice old man and lady sell them over at the brand new daycare center," The second little girl says.

"The daycare center?" Misty replies, and smiles, "Hmm."

Mew and her friends soon arrive at the daycare center, where it's owned by an elderly couple.

The old woman hands Misty the book, "Here it is. Just look up your birthday and it'll show you what kind of Pokemon type you are and it'll tell you your Pokémon fortune."

"It's really very simple. The book might say you're a Nidoqueen type; if you're a Nidoqueen type and you have a Nidoqueen, you'll also have good luck," The old man says.

"Well…" Misty replies.

And then a little boy walks over, "The book says I'm a Seadra type personality. So I should get a Seadra if I want to have good luck, right?"

"Yes. That's how it works," The old woman says.

"I wonder how I'm gonna find somebody who wants to trade their Seadra for my Golbat," The little boy says, and holds out his pokeball.

"One of our customers might love to have a Golbat," The old woman says.

Then the old man says. "We'll keep it here in case someone with a Seadra wants to swap."

"Thanks a lot!" The boy says and gives the old man his Pokeball.

The old man takes it and says, "All right."

Then the little boy leaves.

"You see, we help trainers exchange their Pokémon, too," The old woman says.

"Oh," Misty replies.

Then Brock asks, "Excuse me, does the book mention anything about love and romance?"

"Absolutely! "The old woman says.

This makes Brock excited, "Get it! Get it, guys! Get it!"

Sometime later, at the park, the gang decide to check out the new Fortune Telling Book.

"So then, who wants to get their fortune told first?" Misty asks.

Tomo then answers, "Can I go first?"

"Sure. Just have to look up your birthday," Misty says.

Misty looks up the book and says, "Hmm, it says that you're a Bellsprout."

"I'm a Bellsprout?" Tomo questions.

Even Skwovet and Meloetta are confused, "A Bellsprout.

Misty reads, "People who have a Bellsprout type personality are very passive and are easily swayed by the opinions of others."

"What's passive?" Tomo asks.

"It means accepting or allowing what happens or what others do without responding or assistance," Brock says.

"That's weird," Tomo says, sounding unsure.

Brock turns the page of the book and says, "Hey. I guess I'm an Onix type. Onix types are very hard working and very detail oriented."

"That sounds exactly like you, Brock. Don't you think?" Misty replies.

Brock thinks a bit, "If I'm an Onix type personality and I have an Onix, that must mean I'm pretty lucky. Maybe that means I'm about to meet a lucky girl!"

Jen asks, "Can you do me next?"

"Sure," Misty says, and turns the pages, "Here you go, it said that you're… A Swinub Type."

"Swinub," Jen says, happily.

"Swinub Types are usually eager to have fun and adventures, and can sometimes have big appetites. They also love enjoying what life brings to them," Misty says.

Jen giggles, "That's funny."

Suddenly, Jen feels her backpack shaking.

"What's up?" Mew asks.

Jen opens her backpack and brings out her egg, which is glowing.

"Jen, your egg!" Mew says, surprised.

"It's hatching," Brock says, amazed.

Jen watches as her egg cracks and then bursts in her arms. Soon, her new Pokemon is born. It's a small porcine Pokémon. Living in frigid temperatures, Swinub is covered in dense, brown, striped hair to keep it warm. The hair is so shaggy that it often covers its tuft-like small legs, making it appear like a legless lump. It appears as if they are perpetually closed.

It happily says, "Swinub.

"It's a Swinub!" Jen happily says.

"Aww, it's cute," Molly says.

Mew brings out her Pokedex, "It sure is."

Dexter says, "Swinub, the Pig Pokemon. An Ice and Ground Type. Swinub roots for food by rubbing its snout against the ground. Its favorite food is a mushroom that grows under the cover of dead grass. This Pokémon occasionally roots out hot springs."

"Wow. Talk about lucky," Brock says.

"Yeah. Never expected your new egg is a cute Swinub," Misty says.

Swinub looks to see Jen and happily sniffs her.

Jen giggles, "Hi Swinub."

"Can I go next?" Molly asks.

"Sure," Misty says and turns the pages to Molly's birthday.

She soon finds the page, "Oh, it says you're a Phanpy type."

"Really? A Phanpy?" Molly asks, excited.

Misty reads the book, "Those with Phanpy Types, are usually curious and little to know the wonders of the world, but are sometimes timid on what will take hold. But they can also be supportive and have strong dreams of what life has in store."

"That sounds nice," Mew says.

"Yeah. Even if it might or might not give me good luck, I always like to have a Phanpy," Molly says.

"I'm sure you'll catch one someday," Brock says.

Misty then turns to Mew, "You wanna go next, Mew?"

"Sure. But I wonder if mine really counts because it's not my actual birthday," Mew says.

"I'm sure it won't be a problem," Brock says.

"Let's see," Misty says, and turns the page to Mew's birthday, "Here it is, it says that you're a… A Sylveon Type.

"A Sylveon?" Mew questions.

"Those with a Sylveon Type are very friendly, kind, and have strong compassion for living things. They are also known for being helpful and supportive. Although they can be elegant and peaceful, they are intelligent and strong, and can put a stop to any conflict, as well as understanding the emotions of others," Misty says.

Molly says, "That sounds just like you."

"Really?" Mew asks.

"I agree. You're a very kind, strong, and smart person, even if you can get reckless while dealing with conflict you alway try to understand feelings of both people and Pokemon," Misty says.

"I see," Mew replies, "This is actually kind of fun. What about you, Misty?"

Misty thinks as she says, "I'll bet I'm a cute Vulpix type like Ui, or more like a Water-type like Vaporeon…" She then looks up her birthday and is shocked, "Huh?"

"What's it say?" Mew asks, curious.

Everyone looks and is shocked, "A Gyarados?!"

Misty is displeased and ticked off with her fortune. Enraged, Misty says, "That fortune stuff is a lot of baloney!"

"I don't know. I think Gyarados is cool," Mew says.

"Yeah. It's a Water Type Pokemon too," Jen says.

Misty sighs, "The Gyarados is not so bad, but the fortune it says is."

Later, everyone begins walking down the road as Misty complains, "That book is totally bogus! I should be anything but a Gyarados type."

"I think Gyarados is a good Pokemon. It's a Water Type as well," Mew says.

"I know, but I don't like what the fortune said about it," Misty says.

"What does it say?" Molly asks.

Misty looks at the book and reads, "It says here that Gyarados types are stubborn loners who rarely listen to the wise advice of others, they are frequently grouchy and irritable and lose their temper! Now how would you like it if it said that about you?!"

"I wouldn't like it either, but one thing for sure, you're no loner," Mew says.

"Yeah. You got us and all your Pokemon," Tomo says.

"And sure you can lose your temper sometimes, but you're very sweet and kind," Jen says.

"They're, you shouldn't be so uptight about that book. It seems that it just for fun," Brock.

Misty sighs and smiles, "Thanks guys. It's nice to hear you say…"

And suddenly, the group falls into a pitfall trap and lands at the bottom.

Mew screams, "NOT AGAIN!"

Misty gets ticked off again, "OKAY, WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!"

And soon, they hear the Team Rocket Motto, and Jessie and James are dressed in space suits.

Jessie:

Prepare for trouble, we got you this time!

James:

Now make it double, that's easy to rhyme!

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation!

James:

To unite all people within our nation!

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

James!

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!

Meowth:

Meowth, dat's right!

"It's you again!" Tomo shouts.

And the Pokemon call out in their language, (Team Rocket!)

"Yes, as we are members of Team Rocket, we thought it'd be nice to dress the part," Jessie says.

And James says, "I love the Apollo 11 look."

"Show 'em our new gadgets, "Meowth says.

Then Jessie calls out, "Go, mini-Meowth Balloon 1!

"Go, balloon 2!" James calls out.

And soon, two mini Meowth balloons come out with robotic hands.

Infuriated, Misty says, "Oh, no you don't! Go, Staryu!"

With that, Staryu comes out and destroys the balloons. Soon, Meowth notices the book on the ground.

Misty is soon out of the hole and even more furious than ever, "I was already mad before you pulled that pitfall trick! You picked the wrong person to play with! So now I'm gonna teach you why you shouldn't mess around with me! Staryu, let's blast Team Rocket into the stratosphere with your Water Gun attack!"

Staryu fires a full blast Water Gun at Team Rocket, sending them flying.

Team Rocket screams, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off already!"

And soon, the three crash land in the park near the fountain.

Noticing the book, Jessie asks, "Meowth, where'd that book you're holding come from?"

"I picked it up just before we got blasted. It's a guide to Pokémon fortune telling," Meowth says, holding the book.

Jessie grows excited, "Oh, Pokémon fortune telling?! I've heard all about these little books. I've been meaning to shoplift one."

"What is Pokémon fortune telling?" James asks.

"It compares people to Pokémon and tells you your fortune," Jessie says and looks up the book, "Let's see...it'll probably say that I'm an elegant Ninetales type. Here we are, it says," and soon finds the page as she squeals, "it says I'm an Eevee type." She happily giggles, "Yup, that's me, a cuddly, adorable Eevee."

Meowth is unsure about it, "Jess sure don't seem like an Eevee."

"More like an Eevil," James says.

Then Meowth says, "Hey, Jess! Look up what kind of Pokemon personality type matches me!"

"You little fur brain! You ARE a Pokémon!" Jessie says.

Meowth realizes that Jessie has a point, "Oh, yeah. I forgot about dat."

Then Jessie turns to James, "Would you like me to look up your fortune for you, James?"

"Alright, but I don't believe in those silly things," James replies.

"Well, let's see now...it should be right here…" Jessie says, and soon finds the page, "here it is! You're a…" But gasps in surprise

"He's a…" Meowth says, looking at the page

Jessie and Meowth say in shock, "A Moltres?!"

Jessie reads the book, "The Moltres type will always prevail and just like a real Moltres, the Moltres type personality...SOARS HIGH ABOVE OTHERS?!"

James laughs, "Now isn't that ridiculous?"

"Absolutely," Jessie sheepishly says.

And Meowth says, "Dere's nuttin' Moltres-y about you, Jimmy-boy."

Jessie then looks at the book, "Look, here's what today's fortune for the Moltres type personality: 'You will have good luck with money and find something lost.'"

"Too bad those fortunes never come true, isn't it?" James says, and soon notices something on the ground, "Huh? What is this shiny little thing?"

He picks it up to reveal a coin, "It's a...1867 silver dollar! This must be my lucky day!"

"Hey, dat's pretty good luck to money if ya ask me," Meowth says.

But James says, " Okay, it's just a coincidence."

Just then, James felt something under his foot, "Hey, what is this in my shoe?"

James removes his foot and shakes it a bit to see a bottle cap falling out.

James is very happy, "Ah, I've been looking for this bottle cap for weeks. I was positive I lost it."

"The book says 'you will have good luck with money and you'll find something lost.'" Jessie says, reading the book.

James then says, "Oh, c'mon. It's another coincidence." And heads to a water fountain.

But Jessie also says, "Wait a minute, there's one more thing here. 'Beware of danger near water.'

"That's ridiculous, we're nowhere near any water," James says, and turns on the fountain, only to get sprayed by the drinking fountain.

"Whaddya say now?" Meowth questions.

"It was right, that silly little fortune telling book was right!" James says, shocked.

Then take the book, "Let me see that. 'Moltres type, no matter what difficulties befall them, the Moltres type will always prevail and just like a real Moltres, the Moltres type personality soars high above all others and triumphs!'" Then James says, "I knew it all along! Through all the pain, through all the humiliation, I always felt that I was meant for something greater! Mwahahaha-Hahahaaaa-hahahahaaaaaa!"

"James, are you?!" Jessie asks, growing concern.

James gives Jessie the book. Then climbs up the pole and stands on the stop.

Then James declares, "I, James, am the mighty Moltres! And like the mighty Moltres, I am destined to rule! First, I shall become Supreme ruler of Team Rocket...then I shall become the ruler of all Pokémon! Ah-haha!"'

Seeing James like this, Jessie says, "Our Moltres is certainly full of himself."

"He's full of hot air!" Meowth says.

Then James jumps down and says, "Hear me! From this day forward, you will be my subjects and I will be the mighty Moltres-like monarch you will obey and revere!"

"What?" Jessie says, confused.

"Revere you?" Meowth says, confused

"Correct," James says, "I believe that I saw a daycare center in the last town. We shall go there with haste and I shall lead you in pillaging and plundering Pokémon! Your Moltres master will lead you to victory. Aahh!" and bolts off.

"James, wait!" Jessie calls out and chases after him with Meowth not far behind.

Soon, Team Rocket arrives at the daycare center.

"Well, here it is. I guess we should sneak in the back way," Meowth says.

But James says, "Out of the question. Sneaking and skulking is no way for James the Moltres to arrive in engagement battle. We shall hold our heads high and proudly march through the porthole. Make way!"

Soon, the three march right inside the daycare center.

James announces, "So, the Moltres is here!"

"Pardon me?" The old woman questions.

"I said, the Moltres is here! I am he and I have come to claim your Pokémon! Now away!" James says, and marches forward to the counter.

The old woman then seizes James' shirt, "Oh, really?" and begins swinging him around.

Jessie rushes over, "Hey, let go of him!"

Then the old man comes over, "Get away!"

Soon enough, Jessie and James are effortlessly tossed away.

James shouts, "How dare you treat James the Moltres this way? Where did you get the audacity and where did you get the muscles?"

"We thought we might have the bad fortune to run into you again!" The old woman says.

"We don't know you two," Meowth says.

Then the old man says, "Maybe you'll remember our motto."

"We'd be glad to refresh your memory!" The old lady says.

Old man:

Prepare for trouble and make it double!

Old woman:

To infect the world with devastation!

Old man:

To blight all people in every nation!

Old woman:

To denounce the goodness of truth and love!

Old man:

To extend our wrath to the stars above!

Then the two pull off their masks, revealing that they're really.

Cassidy:

Cassidy!

Butch:

And Butch!

Then the two rip off their costumes to reveal their Team Rocket uniforms.

Cassidy:

We're Team Rocket, circling Earth day and night!

Butch:

Surrender to us now, or you will surely lose the fight!

Then their Raticate comes in.

Raticate: (snarling)

Raticate! ("Bring it on!")

Jessie angrily says, "Cassidy!"

"And Botch, too," James adds.

Annoyed, Butch says, "The name is Butch! Can't you get anything right?!

Then Cassidy says, "Now we'll have to make sure you don't get in our way.

Moments later, Jessie, James, and Meowth have been tied up and stashed in a corner of the Daycare Center Cassidy and butch set up by crates and boxes

Jessie is frustrated, "Gerrreaa-acchhh! I can't stand that Cassidy."

"I bet dey got some super-smart scheme going dough!" Meowth says.

With confidence, James says, "FEAR NOT! Remember that no matter what difficulties befall them, the Moltres Type will always prevail and triumph!" He then clenches, strains, and bursts free of the rope as he shouts, "MOLTRES!"

James then leaps forward and smashes his shoulder against the door leading them out of the fake Daycare Center.

He then calls out to his group, "Moltres has broken your bonds. Come! We must fly!"

Dumbfounded, Jessie says, "Whatever you say, James."

"You're da leader," Meowth replies, confused.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are at the Pokemon Center. Misty is depressed because she lost her Pokemon Fortune Telling Book.

Misty sighs, "Maybe that fortune telling book was silly, but I still wish I hadn't lost it."

"Pika Pika." (It's alright, Misty.) Pikachu reassures.

"Thanks a lot for trying to cheer me up, Pikachu," Misty says.

Even Eevee, Pichu, and Togpei try to cheer up Misty.

Soon, Mew and the others return with hot drinks.

Then gives one to Misty, "It's okay Misty. I say we forget about that book for a while and have a little fun."

"I wish I could," Misty says.

Then a little boy approaches them, "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to have a Poliwhirl, would you?"

"I do. Why?" Misty replies, confused.

The boy grows excited, "That's excellent. I was wondering if you'd like to trade your Poliwhirl for my Gyarados. It says in the Pokemon Fortune Telling Book that I'm a Poliwhirl Type, and I know you're a Gyarados Type."

Confused, Misty asks, "Hey, how did you know that I'm supposed to be a Gyarados Type?"

The little boy then points off in the direction, "That kid over there said so."

The group looks to find Brock flirting with Nurse Joy, I should have guessed that someone sweet like you would be a Clefairy Type, Nurse Joy. Or more accurately, sweet AND beautiful!"

Misty, Molly, and Jen stare with wide eyes and Mew and Tomo roll their eyes in reply.

Brock happily says, "A friend of mine found out she's a Gyarados! Can you imagine? Hahaha!"

"GRRRRR!" Misty growls angrily and crushes her paper cup before storming angrily towards Brock, "Brraaah-OCK!"

"She really is like a Gyarados!" The boy says.

Brock continues, "And she really is just like a mean, nasty, scary..."

And Misty angrily cuts Brock off by grabbing his ear.

Brock yells, "Arrrhh, Misty! Nurse Joy was just telling me about that silly book again!"

Misty pulls his ear harder, "Come on! We're going back to that Daycare Center, to ask some questions!"

Soon, the group arrives at the Daycare Center.

Misty is in quite an uproar, "HEY! WHERE IS EVERYBODY! I've got a problem with your Pokémon Fortune Book!"

"Hmmm, maybe they're out to lunch?" Tomo replies.

"Let's check around back," Brock says.

Soon, the group heads to the back where they see the elderly couple heading through the door into the shed.

Misty happily says, "There they are."

But when the group enters, they shockingly discover Pokemon locked in cages.

"What is this?" Jen asks.

"All these Pokemon are in cages," Tomo says.

"I'm having a feeling this is not a Daycare Center at all," Mew says.

Molly whispers, "Look. There they are."

Mew and the others look to see the old couple. They soon remove their masks to reveal their real identities, Cassidy and Butch.

"What a pain. I can't wait till we get rid of these costumes," Cassidy says

"Me, too," Butch agrees.

Mew and the others quickly hide behind the crates.

Molly whispers, "Who are they?"

Misty quietly says, "They're that pair from Team Rocket!"

Butch and Cassidy!" Brock quietly says.

"They're bad people," Jen quietly says.

Tomo quietly asks, "What do we do?"

"Let's watch and see what they do," Mew quietly says.

Mew and the others watch as the two Team Rocket members lower a giant viewscreen and a shadowy face of the leader, Giovanni of Team Rocket. Ben holds up a recording device to record the whole conversation

"It's nice to see the two of you again. Is everything going according to plan?" Giovanni questions.

"The Pokémon Fortune Telling scheme is a huge success," Cassidy says.

"I knew it would be," Giovanni says, "People always throw their money away on that nonsense."

And Butch says, " We copied that fortune telling book that we borrowed in Goldenrod City. We sold thousands of copies, most to unsuspecting kids."

Cassidy continues, "And we've got dozens of trainers to leave their Pokémon with us, thinking that we'll swap them for ones that match their own personality types. They don't suspect a thing."

"I'm anxious to see all these lovely Pokémon. Close up your Daycare Center and bring them to me at once," Giovanni says

"Yes, sir," Cassidy and Butch replies.

Hearing the conversation, Tomo quietly says, "So the Pokemon Fortune Telling Book is a fake."

"And the Daycare Center is also a fake," Jen whispers.

"And so are Cassidy and Butch!" Mew whispers.

Mew turns to Misty who nods in reply.

Enraged, Misty and Mew stomp forward to confront the Team Rocket duo.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" Cassidey asks.

Furious, Misty says, "Never mind who I am! You two are fake and so is that Fortune Book! That book of yours says I'm a Gyarados... I'M NOT A GYARADOS!"

"And you tricked a lot of little kids into giving you their Pokemon!" Mew angrily says.

Brock demands, "How low can you guys go?!"

Tomo, Jen, Molly, and the Pokemon shout, "That's criminal!"

Cassidy smiles and says, "Now I know who you are. You're the little runts who ruined our plans before."

"Payback time!" Butch says.

Cassidy calls out, "I choose you, Raticate!"

Raticate comes out of the Pokeball.

Mew turns to Molly, "Hey Molly, you wanna join us in the battle."

"Yeah," Molly answers.

Mew calls out, "Totodile, I choose you!"

"Go Teddiursa!" Molly says, and calls out her Pokemon.

Totodile comes out of the Pokeball, dances and gets hit by Raticate's headbutt.

"Totodile, use your Bite attack!" Mew calls out.

Totodile then bites on Raticate

Butch calls out, "I choose you, Primeape!"

Primeape comes out of the Pokeball

Molly calls out, "Teddiursa, use Fury Swipe!"

Teddirusa then performs the attack.

"I'll show you! Go, Staryu!" Misty says and calls out her Pokemon.

Staryu spins and hits Primeape knocking it backwards.

Butch calls out, "Primeape, use your Dynamic Punch!"

Primeape then hit Staryu with the attack

"Staryu!" Misty cries out and calls back Staryu.

Then Jen calls out, "Snubbull, use Headbutt!"

Snubbull then uses Headbutt at Raticate.

Tomo calls out, "Use Bullet Seed, Skwovet!"

Skwovet then performs Bullet Seed at Primeape.

Suddenly, the whole building starts to shake.

"What's that?!" Brock asks, shocked.

Soon, the wall collapses to reveal the Team Rocket trip bursting through the wall with a cran

James' voice announces, "I AM THE FLAME THAT BURNS BRIGHTEST!" Soon, James is lowered down, wearing a Moltres costume, "A FLAME THAT LIGHTS THE NIGHT! A FLAME THAT SHATTERS THE DARKNESS! I AM A FLAMING MOLTRES!"

"That outfit. Where did he get it?" Meowth asks, perplexed.

Jessie feels the same as Meowth, "I think that costume came right out of his closet."

Mew and the others stare perplex as well

James notices the group, "I'm glad you're here to see this, twerps! I will capture all of your Pokemon, as well, for I am James THE MIGHTY MOLTRES TYPE!"

"You clown! How did you ever get free?!" Cassidy demands.

James laughs triumphantly, "The Moltres soars above all and triumphs!"

"You're not a Moltres," Misty points out.

But James says, "My soul is the soul of a Moltres. I learned that from an amazing little book we found, the book changed my life, you should get yourself a copy!"

"Is it a little blue book?" Molly asks.

"Why, yes!" James answers, "It's called the Pokemon Fortune Telling Book, have you heard of it by any chance?"

"Yeah... we heard of it," Mew replies.

Tomo asks, "You think we should tell him?"

"Who knows," Brock replies.

"IF YOU SUBMIT TO MY RULE IT WILL GO WELL FOR YOU LATER! For I am James the Moltres, future ruler of all Pokemon and of all the world! And now, I will begin my rule triumphantly! Moltres!" James says, and swings towards Butch and Cassidy.

With confidence, James says, "Prepare, knaves! I choose you!"

Victreebel comes out and tries to eat James, but James stops it by kicking it, "Listen, you! You belong to James, the magnificent Moltres, future ruler of all Pokémon! Now shape up or ship out!"

Victreebel shrieks in agreement.

Cassidy calls out, "Raticate, Super Fang attack!"

Raticate charges.

"Victreebel, Stun Spore attack!" James calls out.

Victreebel uses Stun Spore and paralyzes Raticate.

Then James calls out, "Hurry and use your Razor Leaf attack!"

Victreebel lands the attack with ease.

"Excellent attacks. I'm proud of you Victreebel, you're performing like the Pokémon of a Team Rocket leader!" James with confidence, and Victreebel agrees.

Jessie and Meowth are surprised.

"There's been a real change in James!" Jessie says.

"Even his Victreebel's behaving," Meowth says.

James laughs, "HAHAHA-HAAAAH! No one can conquer James the Moltres! For I shall always prevail and triumph no matter what!"

"How embarrassing is this lunatic?" Cassidy says.

"I knew he was a looney bird, but this is ridiculous!" Butch replies.

James calls out, "Come on, Botch! You want a piece of me?"

"You better shut your beak!" Butch shouts.

And Cassidy says, "For your information, that Pokémon Fortune Telling Book is a fake! We made the whole thing up!"

James replies with a confused look, "HUH?"

"The whole thing's a big con, and you fell for it," Butch says.

"You mean that…" James then gets the book out, "You mean this entire book is a work of fiction?!"

"That's right, it's all nonsense," Cassidy says.

"Then the part about me being a Moltres Type?" James questions.

"A lie!" Butch says.

Right on cue, the rope holding James up snaps and he crashes to the ground, "Aaaaah...The mighty Moltres... grounded!"

Wobbuffet then comforts James, "Wobb-uffet…" (It's okay.)

"I suppose this revelation makes it doubtful I'm an Eevee," James replies.

Then Cassidy says, "Jessie, Butch and I have been talking to the boss and he's been very unhappy that you haven't brought him any Pokemon."

Jessie and Meowth panics.

"He didn't happen to mention anyting about me, did he?" Meowth questions.

"No. He said you're all equally incompetent," Cassidy says.

Then Jessie and Meowth fall over in disbelief.

Then Jessie shouts, "Get them, Wobbuffet!"

Cassidy laughs, "What can that bumbling blue blob do?"

"Wobb-uffet." (Well, I can defend.) Wobbuffet answers.

Cassidy calls out, "Raticate, Tackle attack!"

"Wobbuffet, Counterattack!" Jessie calls out.

Wobbuffet easily reflects Raticate's attack.

"Raticate, what's wrong?!" Cassidy calls out.

Jessies laughs triumphantly, "My blue blob's not so bumbly."

"WOBBUFFET!" (Not at all!) Wobbuffet says.

Brock whispers, "Now's our chance to let the Pokémon out of their cages!"

"Come on, maybe we can find the keys," Mew says.

With that, the group hurries off to find the keys and free the Pokemon.

Meowth rushes to James, "What are you sitting there for?! We gotta battle these bums!"

Still in shell-shock, James says, "I am mighty, just like Moltres...I will prevail and triumph."

"Have it your way, boid boy," Meowth says, shrugging his shoulders.

Then Butch calls out, "Primeape, Thrash attack!"

Primeape charges.

Jessie calls out, "Wobbuffet, Counter it!"

However, Wobbuffet is sent crashing into Jessie, while Primeape goes on and thrashes James, Victreebel, and Meowth, sending them to Jessie and Wobbuffet.

Cassidy calls out, "Raticate, use your Skull Bash attack!"

Raticate nails Team Rocket and sends them right into the crane, causing it to explode and send them flying.

Still being snooty, James says, "I told you Moltres would triumph, now I'm flying high."

Why do I feel low?" Meowth questions.

Jessie and Meowth cry out, "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

"Wobb-uffet!" (And it hurts!) Wobbuffet cries out,

Meanwhile, Mew and the others manage to find the keys.

"I got em!" Mew says, holding the keys.

"Come on, let's hurry up and get the Pokémon out," Misty says.

But soon hears Cassidy, "Not so fast!"

The group turns to see Cassidy and Butch.

"We've gotten those three out of our way," Cassidy says.

"Now we just gotta get this lot," Butch says.

And Cassidy says, "This should be fun."

Raticate and Primeape step forward.

Mew passes Brock the keys, "Brock, you, Tomo, and Jen free the Pokemon. Misty, Molly, and I will take care of them."

"Right," Brock says.

With that, the group split up, Brock, Tomo, and Jen head out to free the Pokemon while, Misty, Mew, and Molly deal with Cassidy and Butch.

"Well it's not gonna be fun for you when you can see how nasty I can be! Just like a Gyarados!" Misty says and calls out, "I choose you, Poliwhirl!"

Poliwhirl comes out of the Pokeball.

Misty calls out, "Use your Double Slap attack, Poliwhirl!"

Poliwhirl performs the Double Slap on Raticate.

Then Butch calls out, "Primeape, let's go!

Primeape charges.

Molly calls out, "Teddiursa, use Fury Swipes!"

Teddiursa then uses the attacks on Primeape.

"Go, Poliwhirl!" Misty calls out.

"You too, Totodile!" Mew calls out.

Then both girls shout, "Double Full force Water Gun attack!"

Both Pokemon launch and hit Cassidy, Butch, and their Pokemon.

Then Mew says, "Okay, Pikachu, Eevee, use your Thunderbolt attack!"

With that, Pikachu and Eevee use their Thunderbolt attack and cause Team Rocket to scream in pain. Then they shudder and collapse on the ground.

"It's your bad luck day any day you mess with me!" Misty shouts.

Mew smiles, "If you were a real Gyarados, I'll bet you can use either Dragon Rage for Flamethrower."

Mew crosses her arms, "Ha ha, very funny."

Soon, after freeing the Pokemon and calling the police, Officer Jenny and the police arrive and arrest Cassidy and Butch for their crimes and take them to custody.

"Those two are going directly to jail, and we'll make sure that all the Pokémon they had get back to their rightful owners," Jenny says.

"Thanks, Officer," Mew says.

Then the police cadet says, "We found a copy, Officer Jenny." and brings the book over

Jenny turns to see the blue book, "So that's the fake Pokemon Fortune Telling book." She then takes out the real book that has a purple cover. She laughs a bit and says, "Funny, Butch and Cassidy didn't even do a very good job of copying the real Fortune Telling Book, did they?"

"The real Fortune Telling Book!" Misty says, excited and asks, "Could I... Could I take a look at it, Officer?"

"Oh, sure!" Jenny says and hands the book to Misty.

Misty takes the book and says, "I can't wait! Let's see what type I really am!"

Then Brock walks over, "Misty, does it say anything about Onix types?!"

Mew and the others laugh, but still decide to check out the book themselves.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket are walking through town with their heads lower.

James sighs with a sad smile, "It's devastating to think you have a Moltres Type Personality and then lose it."

"You was better off witout a personality," Meowth says.

Jessie gasps to notice, "Look! A Pokemon Fortune Telling Book! This must be the real one!" and take the book.

James then snatches the book from Jessie, "Let's see, I bet this one says I'm a Moltres Type. Here's my... birthday…" And soon he finds the page and it's a devastating sight for him, "OH NO! IT CAN'T BEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
