Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

On a bright day, Mew and the rest of the gang continue on their way to Ecruteak City, but it's so hot outside, they're practically burning. They continue walking at a tropical location, and feel hot

"It's kinda warm here," Molly says.

"It's not warm here. It's hot," Misty points out.

"It's really hot," Mew says.

Brock soon notices, "Hey! Look up in that banana tree."

The group looks to see a group of Aipom and Mankey on the tropical trees with bananas on it.

"Those are Aipom," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Aipom, the Long Tail Pokemon. A Normal Type. Aipom is able to climb and hang from branches using its powerful tail. Aipom lives atop tall trees."

"Those are cool, but it's the bananas that look good right now," Tomo says.

Mew turns to Pikachu and Eevee, "Come on guys, let's go grab some!"

Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee make their way to the tree, but slip on a banana peel and fall into the water.

Misty chuckles, "Mew is funny."

"Anybody can be funny slipping on a banana peel. It's a no-brainer!" Brock says.

Soon, Brock, Tomo, and Jen do the same, they slip on the banana peel and splash into the water.

"I, see what you mean," Misty replies.

"Is everyone okay?" Molly asks.

Misty, Molly, and the Pokemon rush over to see Mew, Brock, Tomo, and Jen sitting in the water. In fact, the group looks really relaxed.

"Are you guys just gonna sit in that water all day?" Misty asks.

"Yeah! Come on in!" Mew says.

"This lagoon's fed by an underground hot spring! " Brock says.

And Tomo says, "It's like a warm bath."

"It's so relaxing," Jen says.

"Sounds nice," Misty says.

"It looks fun," Molly replies.

Later, everyone Mew and the others have their clothes hang to dry as they're wearing their swimsuits.

"The hot spring's what keeps this whole area warm," Brock says.

"Yeah. It's just like the tropics," Misty says.

Then Mew says, "This is great! I say we stay all day here and relax."

"Yeah. I want to go swimming," Tomo says.

"Me too," Molly says.

"I wanna play," Jen says.

"Sounds like fun, right, everyone?" Misty asks, and the Pokemon agree.

Then Brock has an idea, "Hey, guys! Why don't we let our Pokemon have some fun, too?"

"Good idea!" Mew says, and throws her Pokeballs, "Come on out, everybody!"

Misty does the same, "Time to hit the beach, guys!"

Followed by Brock, "Your next play date is today!"

"Let's have some fun," Jen says.

"Yeah. It's time for a little vacation," Tomo says.

"Let's go play!" Molly happily says.

Soon, many of Mew and her friends' Pokemon come out of their Pokeballs.

Mew brings out a Master Ball beach ball, "Okay, here we go!"

Soon, everyone begins to relax and play together, and are having a fun time. However, Totodile sends a super fastball at Cyndaquil.

Cuyndaquil panics, "Cynda…" and is hit by the ball, "Quil!" (Hopping...clams!) and falls on his back as the ball goes flying into the forest.

"Well, Totodile, in most stadiums, that'd be a home run," Tomo says.

"Yeah. But we ended up losing the ball," Mew says.

Soon, Chikorita begins scolding Totodile for hitting the ball too hard, but Totodile acts innocent. Then the two headbutt watch the other. Then Chikorita hits Totodile with her lead. Totodile then headbutts Chikoirta, pushing her into Cyndaquill, which infuriates him. Soon, it turns into a three way brawl.

Mew rushes over, "Hey guys, no fighting."

Then the three start pulling at each other's faces.

Mew kneels down to them, "Alright you three, no fighting. I think it will be a good idea to find the ball, don't you think?"

With that, Chikoirta, Cyndaquil, and Totodile leave to search for the ball.

Sage turns to Tomo and says, "Bulba Bulbasaur." (We'll go help.)

Blaze and Aqua nod their heads and head out to help the three Pokemon find the ball.

Chikrita and Sage search around from their end, and soon find the ball, and an Aipom standing and balancing with a cheeky grin. Chikorita and Sage try to ask for the ball back, but Aipom taunts them. Chikorita tries to attack Aipom, but Totodile charges in, and hits the tree as both Aipom and the beachball go upward. The impact sends three Aipom crashing onto Totodile. The Aipom who has the ball is hanging on the large leaf, holding the ball with its tail. Soon, the other Aipom angrily surround Totodile before turning their attention to the others and use their Sand Attack on them. However, as Totodile is buried, Chikorita turns Cyndaquil's back to the Aipom and makes Cyndaquil's back flames ignite, causing all the Aipom to flee, including the one with the beach ball, before Chikorita gives chase, followed by Cyndaquil and Totodile along with Sage, Aqua, and Blaze.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the jungle, Team Rocket wanders around.

Jessie is feeling tired, "We've been walking through this jungle for hours, James. How much further is this place?"

"According to the guide book, the hidden spring should be a few minutes away," James answers, reading the guidebook.

"I can't wait to get out of this uniform and into those relaxing waters," Jessie says, and begins to fantasize, "First, I'll take a soothing whirlpool bath, then a dip in the hot spring, followed by a refreshing milk bath. A rose water rinse will be a flowery, finishing touch, then it's off to a simply scrumptious candlelight banquet, with a fabulous floor show featuring footloose folkdance!" and soon comes to an end.

James munches on the apple as he says, "I like this place already… It may be a bit warm, but the tropical fruit is fresh and free!"

"And don't forget the hot spring!" Jessie says happily.

But Meowth says, "Dose hot-springs leave me kinda cold."

Jessie turns to Meowth, "I know you don't like to get wet, but at least give the hot-springs a try."

"Maybe you'll warm up to them," James says, still eating

Jessie happily says, "Who wouldn't want to take a break from tedious traveling to lie back and let those warm, wonderous waters wash away every ache and massage every muscle? Shame on you. I say hot springs for me, hot springs for you and hot springs for everybody!"

And soon, Wobbuffet appears, "Wobbbbbuh." (Like me.)

"When I said hot-springs for everybody, I didn't have you in mind, Wobbuffet," Jessie replies.

"Wobbbbuh." (Pity.) Wobbuffet replies.

Jessie grins, "All right, you can come too!"

Just then, the spooked Aipom crashes into and runs over Team Rocket, scuffling up their faces and stealing their food.

Jessie moans in pain, "Jaywalkers." and gasps to notice the fruit missing, "Our fruit's gone!"

Then hear more noises.

"Something else is on the way!" James panics.

Soon, Chikoirta, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Sage the Bulbasaur. Aqua the Squirtle, and Blaze the Charmander run and hop on Team Rocket's head and continue their pursuit of the Aipom.

Meowth says, "You know what?

"Those six look familiar," James says.

Jessie says, "They look just like the twerps' Pokemon."

"Wobbuffet." (They are.) Wobbuffet says.

James acts like Sherlock Holmes and says, "Judging from the elementary fact that the twerps Pokemon are here, one can easily deduce that the twerp himself is quite likely somewhere nearby. And because they appear to be chasing a beach ball, I would surmise that beach is also in the vicinity."

"Dat can't be, Jim! We're no place near de ocean," Meowth says.

But James says, "Your observation is correct, my dear Meowth. There is no beach nearby, ergo the hot spring must be nearby...FIND THE SPRING AND WE SHALL HAVE OUR TWERP!"

Jessie agrees to the deduction, "Brilliant deduction! We've chased that little brat and his Pokemon for over a year and now we've got them just where we want them... OH I CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO THAT HOTSPRING! Come on, let's follow them!"

"Right," James says.

Then Team Rocket grab their belongings and chase after the six Pokemon.

Meanwhile, the six continue their pursuit of the Aipom and their beachball into the cave. The cave spooked Cyndaquil, Aqua, and Blaze. Sage reassures the two younger Pokemon to let them know everything is okay. Then Team Rocket enters the cave.

"The Pokemon went in there! It must be a shortcut to the hot spring!" Jessie says.

"Wobb-uffet." (Maybe.) Wobbuffet says.

Suddenly, they hear some heavy footsteps coming their way. They turn to the right and find a Snorlax.

"It's Snorlax!" Team Rocket panics.

The Snorlax soon picks up James by the basket.

James panics, ""Wait! Stop! Put me down! Jessie! Meowth! Help me! It's got me! Save me!"

"Come back!" Jessie cries out.

Meowth panics, "I tink Snorlax wants to eat him!"

Jessie turns to Wobbuffet, "We've got to stop it! Do something and fast!"

"Wobbbbuh... Wobbbbuh..." Wobbuffet says, trying to use an attack.

"Hmmm?" Jessie questions

"Dat's Bide attack…" Meowth says.

Jessie screams in anger, "THIS IS NO TIME TO BIDE YOUR TIME!"

James continues to cry out, "Jessie! Meowth! Hurry! Do something! Help me!"

"All you gotta do is slip your arms out of dose straps!" Meowth says.

James stops panicking and says, "Okay." Then does just that, and lands on the ground with a thud.

"That was easy," Jessie says.

The Snorlax then eats all the fruit and spits out the basket afterwards. Then turns its attention to Team Rocket, causing them to panic.

"It's still hungry!" Team Rocket cries out before they rush into the cave.

Then Snorlax sits down, blocking the entrance and falls asleep.

In the cave, Meowth says, "Look, Snorlax is blocking de exit. Ain't dat illegal?"

"I learned a long time ago that where there's an exit there's an entrance! Don't look back! Head for the hot spring!" Jessie says, and points to deeper into the cave

"Yeah," Meowth says.

Team Rocket then rushes into the darkness.

Far ahead, the Aipom comes to the fork in the cavern and sticks to the right. Totodile catches up and goes left. Sage and Blaze quickly chase after Totodile while Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Aqua take the same direction as the Aipom.

Close behind, Team Rocket continues walking through the cave.

"Don't worry, we'll find that hot spring! Just keep going!" Jessie says.

Okay, Jess. I'm with you," Meowth replies, having his back turned.

Because of it, Meowth accidentally takes the left path while his teammates take the right. Meanwhile, Totodile, Sage, and Blaze end up coming to a dead end, and turn to spot Meowth

Meowth looks around in a panic, "Jessie? James? Ah! They left me! They abandoned me!"

"Toto?" (That so?) Totodile questions.

Meowth then turns to Totodile, "Just cause Jessie and James ain't here, don't mean you're gonna get away with it, you leathery little…" And brings out a net, "I can catch Pokemon as good as humans do!"

Suddenly, they hear a loud thud, or a booming sound.

"Uh oh," Meowth replies in concern.

Back at the blocked entrance of the cave, the Snorlax stretches, yawns, and slams the back of its head against the cave wall.

Meowth panics, "Hey! What's that?!"

The thud is heard and felt all over the cave, catching the attention of everyone in the cave.

"What's...happening?!" Jessie asks.

Soon, Snorlax falls asleep, but the impact causes a giant rock to fall towards Meowth and the other Pokemon. Totodile quickly pushes Meowth out of the way. Suddenly, something uses an attack to destroy the rock, while Chikorita and the other Pokemon dodge the other falling rocks, and Team Rocket is soon trapped.

"Where'd they go?" Meowth looks around to the cave, Then calls out, "Hey, Totodile!"

Then Totodile bursts through from some rubble along with Sage, Blaze, and another Pokemon.

The other Pokemon reveals to be a small, quadrupedal, rodent-like Pokémon that has a body that is almost entirely orange, with cream colorations on its lower forelimbs, snout, and tail, and green on the insides of its ears. It has beady brown eyes and a tiny nose. Its forelimbs are considerably large, and it has a tuft of fur on top of its head.

Meowth walks over and says, "Thaks for saving me, pal!"

"TOH!" (You're welcome.) Totodile says.

"I wuz trying tah catch you, why did you save me?" Meowth asks.

"Totodile," (Because you're a fellow living creature.) Totodile happily answers

"Just cuz I'm a fellow living creature like you?" Meowth questions and begins to tear up, "Dat's one o' da most bee-yootiful tings I evah hoid!"

"Totodile," (Well, it's true.) Totodile says.

"I hate to say it, but it looks like we're trapped, you guys. I guess I'm gonna spend the rest of my nine lives here," Meowth says.

But the new Pokemon says, "Pawmi," (Think again!)

It then uses Thunderbolt while Totodile uses Water Gun.

"It's no use, Water Gun or Thunderbolt can't cut through these walls," Meowth says.

"Bulbasaur," (We have to try!) Sage says.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, fire away," Meowth says.

"Totodile!" (Thank you.) Totodile says.

With that, Blaze, Sage, Totodile, and the new Pokemon use their attacks on the rocks blocking their path.

Meanwhile, Cyndaquil lights up the situation he, Chikorita, and Aqua are in. Cyndaquil soon suggests that they try to find a way out. Chikorita agrees and starts sniffing around until they both decide to go in a direction. Back outside, the Snorlax gets back up, only to slouch to the other side, causing more rocks to fall inside the cave. Back inside, Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Aqua after dodging some rocks, soon hear Totodile and quickly find some water at a blocked path, pointing to where Totodile is. Chikorita charges forward and smacks into the rocks, getting them loose and opening the path and reuniting the six.

"Have you two seen my friends Jessie and James around?" Meowth asks.

The group shakes their heads in reply.

"I suppose I gotta face facts. They left me here to rot," Meowth says, depressed.

The other consoleMeowth.

"You guys don't even know me, and you're trying to cheer me up?" Meowth questions.

The group confirms.

Meowth tears up again, "You're da best friends I nevah had!"

Meanwhile, James James busts himself, Jessie and Wobbuffet out of the cave with a giant stone mallet, and they soon see a giant hot spring.

"This is it!" Jessie happily says.

"Eureka! The hot spring we've been looking for!" James says in relief.

Jessie chuckles, "I can't wait! The last one in is a rotten Exeggcute!"

James runs forward at top speed, "Here I come!"

James leaps forward, but ends up getting hit by a coconut that falls towards him. It's soon revealed that the Aipom from earlier have taken the hot spring, with bananas and coconuts in hand, and aren't willing to share.

"They don't look very relaxed, do they?" Jessie says.

The Aipom start throwing their fruit ammo, prompting Jessie, James and Wobbuffet to dodge to the immediate right and climb up a tree.

"The nerve of them! I didn't come all this way to be pelted with produce!" Jessie says, irritated.

"WOBBUFFET!" (Me neither!) Wobbuffet says.

"Those little hooligans have no right to keep us big hooligans out!" James says.

Jessie cries out, "Ohhhhhhhh! Let us in there!"

"WOBBUFFET!" (Pretty please!) Wobbuffet begs.

Meanwhile, in the cave, Chikorita apologizes to her friends.

"You're sorry about fighting back there? You fight like I do with Jessie and James?" Meowth asks.

Totodile confirms it.

"That's big of you to apologize to your friends like that," Meowth says.

Then Cyndaquil questions, "Cyndaquil?" (What were we fighting about?)

"You don't even remember what you was fighting about, huh?" Meowth questions.

And says, "Maybe when it comes to fighting, sometimes it's good to have a bad memory."

The group replies.

Suddenly, Chikorita hears something.

"What's up, Chiky?" Meowth asks,

"Chikor." (Quiet for a moment.) Chikorita says.

"Whatever you say," Meowth replies.

Chikorita stands her leaf straight up and feels a breeze.

Then Chikorita says, "Chika!" (This way!) and dashes off

"Chikorita says there's an exit over dat way! Come on, guys! Let's go see!" Meowth says.

Then he and the other Pokemon follow Chikoirta.

Chikorita soon comes to a stop.

"The whole ting's blocked with rocks!" Meowth says.

"Toto!" (On it!) Totodile says.

Totodile fires a Water Gun while Chikorita, and the other Pokemon push

"Let me use a little Meowth-muscle!" Meowth says, assisting the group.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are still having a fun time. Mew, Tomo, Pikachu, Eevee, Meloetta, and Skwovet notice their Pokemon haven't come back yet.

"They're still not back yet," Mew says, concerned.

"Yeah. They've been gone for a while," Tomo says.

"Meloetta Meloetta," (Maybe we should go look for them.) Meloetta says.

"Eevee Eevee," ( I agree, Meloetta.) Eevee says.

"Yeah. Let's go find them," Mew says.

Meanwhile, the Pokemon manage to break through the rubble, only to run right into the backside of the Snorlax blocking the cave.

"If Snorlax won't move its behind, we're the ones who're gonna have to move it," Meowth says.

Totodile then turns to Chikorita and Sage, explaining the idea, which they quickly agree. Chikorita uses her leaf and Sage uses his vines to tickle Snorlax, making it stir. Seeing the plan working, Totodile bites Snorlax. Aqua sprays water as the new Pokemon lets out a Thunderbolt. Then Cyndaquil and Blaze use their fire attacks to make Snorlax leap up in pain to finally free the four before coming down with a massive thud. Everyone rushes out into the open air and dances for joy as Meowth slowly walks out into the open, a smile on his face and a hand hiding something behind his back.

Meowth soon grins, "Well I'm happy tah see you're all back tah-getta again. Coz now I can catch all tree o' ya! HA!"

Meowth then leaps into the air, swings his net and catches the six Pokemon.

"Don't get me wrong, guys, I'm grateful n' everything for ya helping me out and all, but no matter what, I'm a Team Rocket member first, last and always!" Meowth says.

The six Pokemon look to Meowth, clearly displeased.

Meowth laughs, " And now you're gonna help me again, cause you're the bait I'm using to catch Pikachu and Eevee!"

However, Snorlax comes up from behind Meowth, clearly unhappy about being woken up.

Meowth cries out, "Hey, don't blame me, Snorlax! I didn't do nutin! It was them! They was the ones that boined ya!"

Snorlax turns to them.

However, Pawni pins the blame on Meowth, "Pawni Pawni," (He made us do it.)

The Snorlax turns to Meowth

"If you don't believe me, at least give me a head start!" Meowth panics as he quickly flees, screaming as Snorlax pursues, "You gotta believe me! For once in my life, I ain't lying!"

Meowth soon runs into the cave and Snorlax smacks into the wall face-first, causing it to crack and make rumbling that even the rest of Team Rocket feel.

"What was that?" Jessie asks.

"Thunder?" James questions.

Soon, the water from the top layer of the multi-level hot spring comes pouring downward like a waterfall, causing the Aipom to flee as the water floods the surrounding area. Soon, Team Rocket are swept away by the water.

Jessie panics, "What's going on here?! This isn't a hot spring, it's a tidal wave!"

"Maybe it's not a tidal wave! Maybe it's a spring flooding!" James panics.

Wobbuffet cries out, "WOBUFFET!" (Maybe!)

"I don't know about you, but I wasn't prepared for trouble!" Jessie panics.

Soon, the three are sent into the cave. Meanwhile, inside the cave, Meowth looks back, I wish Jessie and James was here!"

Soon, they come flooding in, quite literally, before the water leaves the cave and enters the jungle again. The force of the water causes Snorlax to float along the massive river while the seven Pokemon hang on to Snorlax' feet.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others search for the six missing Pokemon.

"Chikorita! Cyndaquil!"

"Totodile?! Sage!" Brock calls out.

Tomo calls out, "Blaze! Aqua!"

"Pika!" (Hey, guys!) Pikachu calls out.

"Skwov Skwov," (Where are you?!) Skwovet calls out.

"I'm getting worried, guys. Where could they all have gone?" Mew questions.

Brock soon notices, "Mew! Tomo! Quick! Look what's coming!"

The group watches as a massive river comes in with Snorlax floating along and the seven Pokemon hanging on.

Tomo gasps, "Sage! Aqua! Blaze!"

"Chikorita! Cyndaquil! Totodile! Mew calls out.

"We gotta save them!" Jen says.

"But how?" Misty asks.

"That current's way too strong! We'll be swept away along with the Pokemon!" Brock says.

Down the river, Chikoirta and Sage use their Vine Whip to grab onto Snorlax' toes and pull themselves up. Then they do the same with the rest of the Pokemon as their trainers and friends race down the river.

Mew calls out, "Chikorita! Totodile! Cyndaquil!"

"Sage! Aqua! Blaze!" Tomo calls out.

The seven Pokemon poke their heads

"The current's too strong, we can't dive in and save you! Try to steer Snorlax closer to the shoreline!" Mew calls out.

Brock looks ahead in shock, "Mew, look downstream!"

Mew looks ahead to see, "A waterfall!"

Chikorita and Sage think fast, and use Razor Leaf to cut down two trees that lean against each other as they come down. Totodile then leaps and bites on the tree, allowing Chikorita and Sage to use Vine Whip to grab onto Totodile and pull itself up along with the others while the Snorlax continues down river. Totodile's grip on the tree soon starts to wane, but before it can fall and take the others with it, Ash and Tomo are able to save them at the last minute.

"Just, hang in there!" Mew says.

"We'll save you!" Tomo says.

Mew and Tomo pull them up and they all celebrate in relief.

"Well, guys, what do you say we go back to the beach?" Mew replies.

Pikachu, Eevee, Meloetta, and Skwovet.

Soon, Pawmi lands on Mew's lap.

"Oh. I see you made a friend. And it's really cute," Mew says.

Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says, "Pawmi, the Mouse Pokemon, and the pre-evolved form of Pawmo. An Electric Type. The pads of its paws are electricity-discharging organs. Pawmi fires electricity from its forepaws while standing unsteadily on its hind legs."

"Well, you sure are a cute Pokemon. Did you help our Pokemon?" Mew asks and pats Pawmi on the head

Pawmi nods in reply.

Soon, everyone reunites with dry land.

"You promise you won't go away on your own like that again?" Mew questions.

All six Pokemon, including Pawmi, agree.

Soon, Pikachu finds the beach ball they've been chasing in the river, and picks it up.

Mew takes the ball and says, "Who wants to hit the old beach ball around some more?"

All the Pokemon agree.

Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil worked out their differences, pulled together, and went through an exciting adventure with some help from Sage, Aqua, and Blaze. Now they're friends again, and having a blast, and they end up with a new friend, Pawmi in the process. After a little more fun, the group will continue on their way to Ecruteak City.

Meanwhile, Snorlax is sleeping on the river, with Team Rocket using it for support to make sure they don't go over the waterfall.

"Maybe this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't been dreaming about relaxing in that hot spring, Jess," Meowth says

"Just another one of my dreams that didn't come true," Jessie says, depressed.

And James says, "Well, I guess the best thing to do now is to swim away."

Right on cue, the Snorlax wakes up and starts swimming upstream, sending Team Rocket to the waterfall.

Jessie and James cry out, "Team Rocket's drifting off again!"

"WOBBUFFET!" (Quite swiftly!) Wobbuffet says.
